- Robert (10/5): Very nice area and clean reasonable rooms. - No vineyard or views, it's a place that sells wine.
Room was clean and smelled clean, staff was friendly and helpful. There are some cute shops nearby and the water and dock across the street were handy. Very nice area as well.
- Laura (6/5): Ok - Efficient check-in. The room was clean and covered all of the basics. Wifi was spotty, but mostly on. No breakfast service. Great location on the water and walking distance to several shops and restaurants.
- Tim (10/5): - The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but there was a dampness that could have been better taken care of. We like that the Bayside is in town so we can walk to shop and eat.
- William (10/5): Great place .. will stay again - Great location .. 1/2 mile walk to the boats or take shuttle , good food near by , good hot water in the shower BUT takes about 3 min of running before it gets there (at least to our room) so turn it a few min before getting in ..
- Mary (7/5): - Location was very good. Easy walking downtown. Outlet by the sink did not work, so couldn't use hair dryer. TV had two remotes with no instructions. Had to call for help.

- BonnieandSam (10/5): We have stayed at a few different hotels in the past 5 years for the truck show and we agree that this place was the bes - Super convenient for the truck show! Also a great view of the lake. Everything was great! No complaints.
- YuTsen (8/5): -
- Laverne (7/5): - Location to downtown Very, very noisy
- Steve (8/5): -
- Zhao (9/5): -
- Dan (6/5): - It was clean, but dated room. Fixtures and furniture showed wear and tire. When my husband went to ask a question, the desk clerk was asleep and she didn't wake up. I thought the place was quiet. It was adequate for what we needed it for, but I would only stay one night.
- CHARLES (8/5): - everthing was good
- Allan (10/5): - By the bay
- Robert (6/5): - The property needs renovation - especially the bathrooms. But the staff was very pleasant. All of the restaurants were closed at 9 pm - no food available. But it was reasonably clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy!
- Helen (8/5): Good value and excellent sleep - Staff was really helpful and friendly. The beds were super comfy. Everything worked. The rooms are a bit small but still manageable
- Terence (6/5): Acceptable, but will use a different hotel next time. - Good location for my purpose. Staff was very helpful. TV was old and volume could not be adjusted..
- Carrie (9/5): - Very convenient location. Staff was very accommodating. Room was nice. Carpet definitely needed a cleaning. Also the light hanging in the room was very harsh on the eyes. A shade over it would be better. Overall pleased with my stay.
- Bankey (7/5): -
- Doug (8/5): -
- Guest (8/5): - No breakfast
- Sherry (6/5): -
- Susan Lynn (8/5): I’d stay again. Clean and comfortable. - The blankets, comforter and pillows were soft and inviting! The bed was so comfortable. That there was not a tub. My disabled daughter in unable to shower. I really miss when newly renovated places don’t put in a bathtub.
- Guest (5/5): Covenienant location for a night or two. - Great location with being right downtown Saint Ignace. You can easily walk to Mackinac Ians ferries, local restaurants, and shops. The smart TV had difficulty connecting and staying connected to the WIFI. Rooms are a bit dated but they are clean. Furniture could be updated. But remember this is. MOTEL not a HOTEL.

- Mike (4/5): -
- FILMS (7/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very nice front desk staff. Beds a little hard but the amazing water pressure in the shower felt good the next morning.
- Juan (10/5): Excelente ubicación - Ubicacion Almohadas y colchón
- Bhaskar (8/5): - Great location.
- Kenneth R (6/5): - Older property that needs some room updates. Clean and comfortable but seems to rely on the tourist location.
- John (10/5): - Great location, nice room
- Serrano (10/5): Excelente - Ecxelente tood Excelente 👌🆗
- Donald (10/5): - Great service
- Simonson (6/5): Generally disappointing stay. - Location excellent. Room not clean. No breakfast.
- Jim (6/5): - Location was good. Curtains did not keep light out. Bed needed a better mattress. Rust in bathroom areas. Sink fixture hard to turn on and off - needs to be replaced. Very small, thin towels.
- Heather (8/5): - This was typical of many hotels in the UP. It was clean and quiet. We were able to walk St Ignace easily.
- Di (6/5): - Property was pretty outdated and rooms were not super comfortable. Staff was okay
- Colleen (6/5): - The staff was very good about accommodating our late check in, we do appreciate that. Very basic room, old and outdated. Bed was comfortable though.
- Jay (8/5): - Nice and reasonable clean good location right price
- BOVEN (1/5): -
- William (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
- Pauline (1/5): - Nothing Never talked to manager
- Charles (6/5): -
- Guest (10/5): Nice - Nice location Not sure
- Paul (6/5): - Location and value Charged miltiple rooms on credit card before arriving. When we said we would pay for them separately
- deb (10/5): Could not have been more perfect❣️❣️ - The beds were so comfortable and the linens smelled fresh and clean not an overpowering perfume/detergent scent. I loved the roof top balcony. They were so very accommodating with early check-in and even put us in a first floor with no steps 😊room due to my husband’s disability. The view was great and located on the center of town so close access to everything. We’ve done a lot of traveling the last 10 yrs and we commented this was one of possibly the best stay we’ve experienced ❣️❣️ Only that we could have stayed longer 🥰
- Bakshinder Singh (5/5): It was Alright. - It was Close to the lake There were spiders and mosquitoes in the bed rooms. Even behind the Beds there wasn’t much cleaning done. My kids Feet would get dirty from walking around in the room.
- Anthony (7/5): Great value. - I like the value and the location was just a little over 10 minute walk to catch the boat to Mackinac Island. The AC unit was very loud, but surprisingly didn't keep us awake (probably due to all the walking and fresh air we got).
- Kristi (10/5): - Great people
- Mary Jo (10/5): - Easy check in. Nice rooms
- Guest (8/5): Great - It was close to where we needed to be and staff was friendly and it was nice and quiet at night Nothing!
- Ward (6/5): - No front desk greeting or "enjoy your stay"! Just handed a key. Entered a room that felt like 90 degrees. Fortunately, the AC functioned, and after about 30 minutes we had a temp that we should have had when we walked in. There were no surface, hooks or rack in the shower area. Are guests supposed to put their towel or clothing...on the floor while showering? The bathroom door would not shut completely. The sink drain had a rusted out flange, chipped enamel and gunk. Judging from the thickness, of the bathroom towels, they must be World War ll surplus. Otherwise, given that our stay was a quick hitter, it did the job...barely.
- Julia (7/5): Buena opción si vas a St Ignace - El personal es muy amable y servicial. La habitación estaba limpia y el hotel muy bien ubicado. No te limpian la habitación ni te cambian las toallas si no avisas. No incluye desayuno.
- Shannon (7/5): Good location and very clean - Staff was very friendly and room was clean. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and the location is fantastic — just a short walk to the ferry and nearby shops. We’d definitely stay here again! Some of the furniture was a bit worn and there was some rust around the sink caulk, these were only minor issues and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
- Gary (9/5): Our stay was one night and we were able to check in early - The location was great and the staff was friendly.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable There was nothing that I didn’t like
- Tom (4/5): Disappointing. - The place is a little run down {needs work] THe person at the front desk acted like we were bothering them
when we checked in and then again later on when we asked a question.
- Knauss (10/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Andrea (7/5): - Location Coffee was not good. Creamer in packets was crunchy. Very basic room.
- Barringer (7/5): -
- Judi (6/5): Was just ok - Location. Walkable to restaurants etc Outdated, no elevator to 2nd floor, floor not super clean, not enough outlets
- Susanne (10/5): -
- Howard (7/5): -
- Hugh (8/5): - Staff was very helpful. Very flexible with parking arrangements
- Marcos (8/5): -
- Katarzyna (9/5): -
- Dustin (10/5): Great customer Service and Location! - Great location right across form the marina and walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and the ferry to Mac Island. We arrived super late after sailing across the lake and the staff made sure we could still check in even though their office was closed.
- Laurie (10/5): -
- Sherri (10/5): A great place to stay! - Great location, friendly staff, comfortable room and close to the ferry and food and drink.
- Jeffrey (7/5): -
- Jeri (7/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): - I'm putting words here because the app won't let me submit without them
- Irina (10/5): Will stay again - It was clean, conveniently located, and had a sitting area outside on a deck.
- Ana (7/5): -
- Glynn (7/5): -
- Guest (5/5): -
- sarah (8/5): - It was clean and fair price The ferry 3 minutes walk was for the CLASSIC ferry, the fast ferry dock was almost a mile away, and I did not know this until my 2nd day there. Sheplers shuttle was very efficient, I just wished that I had known day one. Was a bit confusing for a first-timer.
- Coleen (2/5): No HAPPY - 2nd nite room was great rm 111 Rm 107 was terrible. AC did not work well. Plus outlet for hair dryer didn't work. Toilet was wobbly and wouldn't flush well.
Cigarette butter the room.
- Evelyn (7/5): -
- Kathrin (7/5): Für eine Nacht in Ordnung - Schöne Lage Etwas in die Jahre gekommen
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Claudia (7/5): - Helpful staff and connections to ferry for Mackinaw Island for tickets and shuttle service.
