• Ilda (1/5): Never anymore - No parking. The room was good, but you could hear everyone coming down from the stairs or going up. You could hear everything from the other rooms next door. I couldn’t sleep until 4am because it was too noisy. People next door talking loudly and laughing, and screaming… it was a horror.

• Patricia (10/5): Ideaal verblijf - Proper , parking dichtbij, vriendelijke man aan de balie toen ik vertrok ( met Frans accent ) Dat ik er aan een gesloten deur stond Rond 20 u 15 geboekt Rond 20u45 sta ik aan een gesloten deur … Begonnen bladeren tss 5 e-mails Pincode ingegeven… niks Dan een gsm nr gecontacteerd uit een van de mails , na even wachten aan de gsm werd ik vriendelijk geholpen en werd er een digitale sleutel doorgestuurd. Op Booking staat , tot 23 u maar na 19 u is er niemand meer aanwezig, ik wist niks , je kan niet binnen , weet zelfs geen kamer nr en niemand persoonlijk aanwezig om je te helpen , ik was efkes in paniek, gelukkig is alles goed gekomen. Mijn eerste boeking ooit , mss daarmee dat ik even paniekeerde . Zou ik nog terug gaan ? Jazeker Nu weet ik hoe het werkt Ontbijt is goed , simpel maar ideaal voor mij . Zeer rustig om te slapen en een uitstekend bed . Tot de volgende 😃😃

• Britt (10/5): I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone - The friendly staff made everything wonderful, we had a great view from our room and was even offered a free upgrade. Our bed was very comfortable and the hotel was extremely walkable to the city. The shower was very narrow and it was hard to feel comfortable in it.

• Konstantinos (8/5): Had a very nice and relaxing stay at Flandria - The room was very nice and had a beautiful view of the cathedral from the side and back of the Cathedral. It had insect screen which allows to have the window open to enjoy the cool breeze. The location is very nice as well. It is near the Cathedral but also far enough to enjoy some peace and quite. The main 'access' road is not very accommodating to pedestrians and can be even dangerous as motorists and especially cyclists are very incompetent. However, its not the hotel's fault. You will notice this pattern throughout the city.

• Sertel (1/5): A very disappointing stay with misleading photos and unacceptable conditions. - Absolutely do not go to this hotel. It has nothing to do with the photos — completely misleading. They turn off the heating at 2:00 AM, and you freeze until morning. The shower cabin is so small that it’s almost impossible to use. There isn’t even a proper power outlet in the room — if you manage to find one to charge your phone, you’re lucky. This experience was a complete disappointment.

Mould on ceiling above my bed, bathroom awful, cracked tiles. Massively outdated and old . Hair clogged in shower drain which prevented water draining

• Sandro (4/5): Not worth the price. - Basically a good location. Staff were also nice. The facilities were below average and the walls are too thin. Be prepared to hear the noise coming from other guests at the hallway and from other floors. The bed was very low quality. The experience was overall passable. Having said that, I must highlight that the cleaning standards were as bad as it gets. My floor was completely covered in dust and I had to request for it to be cleaned. The toilet was also in bad conditions.

• Jan (9/5): Nederlands uit respect! - Algemeen. Voortrefelijke gastvrouw. Zeer vriendelijk behulpzaam (met mijn manke poot op de trappen ). Verblijf was voortreffelijk! Onthaal bij aankomst. Beleefde man maar helaas het nederlands niet machtig. Als ik naar wallonie of frankrijk ga spreek uit respect ( weliswaar zeer gebrekkig) frans... ik kan me in vier talen meer of minder uitdrukken maar in je eigen taalgebied mag je toch wel je moedertaal gebruiken om bedient te worden... Gewoon iets dat me soms ergert in hotels. Maar: geen rancune hoor!!! Nauwelaerts Jan.
• Jan (7/5): - Hotel ideaal gelegen in centrum van Gent. Direct in de buurt van oa St Baafskerk ed. Alles mogelijk op wandelafstand. Kamers waren zeker in orde. Wij hebben geen ontbijt genomen in het hotel. Hotel Flandria is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een kort verblijf in Gent.

• R Bates (6/5): Not the greatest of experiences. - Location of the property The booking was for 2 people bed and breakfast, but at the hotel they said that it was only 1 breakfast included in the price and we will have to pay for the 2nd breakfast 14 euros. I argued that the booking was for 2 adults but I did manage to negotiate with the manager and I eventually agreed to pay half 7 euros as I had no choice but to pay if we both wanted the breakfast. Also got a parking ticket (Christmas morning). Just beware of this before you arrive.
