- Fabien (8/5): Très bel hotel entouré de montagne - Cet hôtel est tres chaleureux, les chambres sont tres agréables, spacieuses avec une vue superbe sur les montagnes. Le personnel est tres gentil. Seul bémol : le petit dejeuner. En été, il n'y a pas un jour où il ne manquait pas quelque chose (oeufs brouillés, bacon, pancakes) 1h30 avant la fin du service. Pour ce qui est des pancakes, nous y avons eut droit deux fois sur 7jours. C'est inacceptable pour un 4 étoiles.

- Susan (8/5): - This hotel is very contemporary yet homely, the beds are large, the rooms are larger than std. The balcony overlooking the mountains was an added touch, where we could sit and enjoy a coffe or wine and watch the skiers go by. Really nice to have inclusive access to a swimming pool and jacuzzi at the end of a day on the slopes. Spa treatments were very good and staff very experienced and freindly. Only downside was no chicken on the menu for a main all week. I dont really like red meat like venison and do not like fish. Yes im a fussy eater, but could only eat a starter of caesar salad in the hotel.

- Crystal (10/5): Great location!!! - We stay here for two nights as part of our 2 week EU trip! Absolute best location for us!withe the ski lift, the rental place was right beside hotel along with a great spot to eat, made everything super easy! (make reservations) the staff was accommodating, had great recommendations, was able to get all 5 of us into the spa for massages, and we all enjoyed the pool/sauna/ relaxation areas after being on the MTN. We had two suites and absolutely can’t wait to plan a longer ski trip here! We paid the extra to park in garage, 18 euros and it was nice to have a ready to go car from the ice/snow! Thanks for making our trip great!

Petit déjeuner variés. L'accès a la piscine intérieure permet de se détendre après une rando ou en cas de mauvais temps! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Petite cuisine pratique avec les équipements suffisants. Piscine très appréciée en fin de journée. Buffet de petit déjeuner correct pour cette gamme d’établissement. L’hôtel, bien qu’imposant, se fond très bien dans le paysage grâce à son architecture.

Le spa est vraiment très agréable, de même pour la piscine. Le restaurant est très bon. Le chambre était un peu petite mais confortable et propre.

- Stephane (8/5): très bien mais quelques axes d'amélioration. - personnel professionnel et souriants. le restaurant C2 est très bien. la prestation piscine et jacuzzi est très bien. la chambre agréable, pas spécialement grande mais correct. deux points d'amélioration: le nettoyage (des cheveux sur la terrasse et sur la moquette lors de notre arrivée), au niveau du jacuzzi et au niveau de la zone de stockage de la cuve à l'exterieur) le petit déjeuner, certains produits sont très corrects mais d'autres, un peu léger. je suis exigeant car la tarification est élevée.

- Luca (10/5): bella Vacanza sulla neve - Struttura molto bella, nuova, con piscina e idromassaggio molto belli è una spa separata bellissima. Direttamente sulle piste. Comoda la Sky room con accesso diretto alle piste. Gradevole la colazione. Occorre fare attenzione a migliorare piccoli segnali che non vorrei macchiassero la bella struttura: saponi e asciugami a volte dimenticati o non presenti. Le camere riassettate tardi... anche nel pomeriggio a volte.

Il est également à deux pas du centre village (pratique si l'on veut manger au restaurant le soir.) Très bon confort des chambres; très bonne literie. Nous avions une "chambre" familiale qui s'apparentait plus à un vrai petit appartement avec entrée; chambre parentale, chambre enfants, séjour (kitchenette); salle de bain et wc séparés. Grand balcon donnant côté pistes. Un bel espace piscine/bains japonnais accessible à tous (peignoirs fournis à chacun dans votre chambre). Possibilité de Spa (petit supplément) et de soins. Petits déjeuners très bien fournis et de bonne qualité. Hôtel récent où nous étions déjà venu et y sommes retourné avec grand plaisir. Le personnel est très aimable et disponible. L'établissement est très propre. Parking en sous-sol dispo sur réservation.

Quelques petites erreurs sinon on était proche de l'endroit parfait…. Uns politique tarifaire peut-être un peu trop élevée… ? (mais après tout tant qu'il y a des clients) Le personnel du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur de la qualité de ce qui est servi… La piscine est superbe mais sans douches..! (on n'utilise pas des douches un étage plus haut… j'ose pas imaginer l'hiver après le ski tous ceux qui vont dans la piscine sans se doucher ;..!!!) Le sois disant wellness Sauna/ Hamman, n'est pas à la hauteur ..pas d'accès extérieur (même si le poster mural est superbe) pas de douche confortable (les temporisateurs sont évidement trop courts,) mais surtout en aucun cas cela justifie une telle plus value …! (si c'est pour faire un tri de la clientèle l'hiver en raison de trop de monde.. éventuellement , mais hors période de ski .. ?) Un séjour en Allemagne pour voir la qualité hotelière et wellness (inclus) est nécessaire pour comprendre. Eviter le 3 éme étage, la conception de l'hotel génère des chambres avec vue… sur le mur .. dommage ..car le panorama est magnifique mais il faut s'incliner depuis la chambre pour voir les montagnes… (Ces chambres méritent une moins value) Les ascenseurs sont vraiment étroits et peu pratiques, heureusement les escaliers sont utilisables. Un bel endroit où je retournerais volontiers.

The only small problem was a lack of hot water in the bathroom so showers were lukewarm. Pool/spa was very nice if a little busy. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

- Tomer (8/5): Good - Overall great. The staff was nice but at times unable to assist and the terms of the booking were well below market. Our experience was tainted by a post-stay attempt to charge us for "not cleaning the room before leaving" which was very unfortunate (although the request was promptly withdrawn).

Notre sejour se terminant un dimanche nous avons demander à partir un peu plus ce qui nous fût refuser. Après verification, il s est avéré que des chambres étaient encore disponibles et brader sur hotel.com. Enfin le restaurant est plus proche d une cantine que d'un reel restaurant. Choix très limité, raclette excessivement chère et disponibilité du plat du jour limité pour le deuxième service. Déçu!

L'hôtel offre de bons services : piscine, sauna, hammam, emplacements pour ranger son matériel de ski. Petit point d'attention sur le service du dîner qui est un peu long. En deuxième service (ce que nous avions choisi), peu de chances d'avoir l'ensemble des plats du menu de demi-pension. A part ce petit désagrément, un très bel hôtel et un très bon séjour dans cet établissement

- Herve (10/5): Hotel magnifique, appartement tout équipé. Le rève - Nous avons pris la formule appartement. Celui ci était très grand et très bien équipé avec un grand balcon. L'hôtel est magnifique et dispose d'une piscine intérieure, avec un spa. Bref, le paradis ! Depuis Lanslebourg, énorme offre de randonnées. Le village également est très agréable et les environs magnifiques.

La suite è spaziosa, luminosa e funzionale e silenziosa. Il balcone consente di stare all'aperto anche nei momenti di pioggia. La zona wellness è ampia. Il Wi-Fi è sempre stato funzionante. Il personale alla reception gentile e cortese, parla inglese e francese.

- james (10/5): Great Location - We were on a skiing trip as a family and took the self catering option. Accommodation was very adequete for a family of 6 and the proximity to the ski slopes could not have been better. You can ski right in to the hotel and the lockers provided for ski equipment were sizeable, enough for six people. Chair Lifts were within 2 minutes walk, and coupled with the ski-in facility made the sometimes laborious morning and evening effort of getting to/from the slopes a doddle. The only down side was the limited number of restaurants and Supermarkets nearby (nearest decent Supermarket 15 minutes by car). Food in the hotel was decent but pricy for a family of six. I would highly recommend this hotel.

- Zoe (10/5): Snow and Spa Luxury - This hotel could not be better situated! If you are lucky enough to have a room facing the slopes you can see the whole mountain covered in fresh snow every morning. The staff are amazing and very helpful with everything. There is a ski hire shop basically attached to the hotel which makes skiing even more accessible. With a boot room attached to the slopes, it is the most ideal hotel for the lazy skier. I couldn't fault this hotel at all! Loved our trip so much!
- Daniel (8/5): Nice hotel, but don't be in a rush! - The rooms were very nice, and the location at the bottom of the main lift is very handy! Service is very friendly and reception staff lovely, but complete opposite in restaurant. 1 hour to receive a starter in the restaurant, which came out wrong was completely unacceptable. Breakfast staff were also slow and disinterested. Great hotel, just don't expect any of the catering staff to help you out.

Before giving St Charles a five stars lifetime award, I would like to test it again in winter when more crowded.

- basile (8/5): Great new hotel in cosy Val Cenis - We stayed 5 nights as a family of 4 in the residential suite, and were offered a self contained apartment with master bedroom, kids bedroom with bunk beds, and a kitchen/living room. This formula does not include daily room cleaning, but is best with kids. Hotel is brand new, and everything is in great condition. It is situated on the slopes, next to skiset shop for rental, and esf for ski lessons. A small Sherpa supermarket is on the main road, a mere 5mns walk away. There are other shops/restaurants on the main road. The hotel also boasts a good restaurant, which can offer breakfast lunch and dinner. We used it only once for raclette, as we prepared our meals in our kitchen. There is a spa, and indoor pool/jacuzzi which looks fantastic, which is great for after ski winding down. We payed about £120 per night off season, so this hotel could get quite expensive at peak times.

- Karen (10/5): Superb location, right next to 3 ski-lifts. - We had a suite which consisted of a double bedroom, bedroom with bunk beds and a sofabed in the lounge area. There is a kitchen with full sized hob, microwave and dishwasher. The suite was lovely, well decorated and spotlessly clean. There is a large balcony, but no balcony furniture.

Staff very helpful but just missed on a few info about the hotel, other than that everything was perfect. Definitely recommend it!!
