- Selene (8/5): - Overall the place is nice looking, secure and clean. I was unsure about the reservation because I never got a confirmation from the hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable, my room was under a staircase and I could hear people going up and down the stairs. What I like of this hotel is that is very secure, you can only access to the hotel with a code. The location is very conveniente, it’s in the middle of old San Juan, restaurants and attractions were at walking distance.

We were left stranded in the streets looking for a place to stay, 15 minutes it’s still 15 before the time established.

Willie, the front desk person who checked me in and out was such a Gentleman. He made sure that everything was working properly; we went together and I clicked in the door code to make sure I was doing it right. That was very nice of him. I would definitely come back to this hotel, safety is a priority and I felt very safe at this place❗️ I’m a woman and I traveled alone. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT❤️

But they take more then one hour to give me another room. I would NOT recommend this hotel. I least if you want to wait in the lobby for 1:30 minutos for Check in. Terrible

We had a horrible flight schedule and missed the email from the property requesting information for check in. Because of this our room was not ready and we could not access the property. We thought we would be greeting with empathy but instead the women screamed and us and told us it was our fault. Horrible and made us uncomfortable our entire stay. Not someone who should be in customer service / hospitality industry . Room was very outdated, small, no windows, humid, no closet to hang clothing or store luggage and bathroom was super old (dirty looking and cracked tile).
- Stephen (6/5): - Fantastic area. That’s about the only thing I liked. I booked it because it was cheap for 6 people. There were only two king size beds available. I was hoping there’d be a futon, sofa bed, couch. Nope. We slept three per bed. It was pretty horrible. You don’t advertise a 6 person unit if you only have two beds. It was crammed, as if they tried squeezing as many units as possible. I wouldn’t stay there again. Oh, staff was very nice. There was this Haitian lady, real pleasure.
- Michael (10/5): Convenient Location - Convenient location in Viejo San Juan. Walking distance to all of the historic sites, shops, bars and restaurants, and everything else you would want to see in the old town. Reasonable price
- Scott (8/5): Great for the Price and Location - They use solar panels for hot water so there is warm water at best. For the value and location and staff, it was very convenient and half the price of most other hotels.
- Jeff (10/5): - I was very surprised to find this hotel in such a great location in Old San Juan. I stayed on a Friday night so the street outside was bustling and noisy but inside the hotel was perfectly quiet. The person checking me in (Juan) was great, and the hotel was in very nice condition.
- David (4/5): - Need to read fine print in email. No access to locked property and no help when calling provided number to explain why we couldn’t access. No one answered phone. Staff on site where not allowed to provide access even when we provided required proof of vaccination and ids in person. Had to wait over an hour for access code after emailing. Had reservation and contacted them on three occasions prior to arrival when they could have let us know we needed to provide ids and vac status before we could enter hotel.
- Kimberly (10/5): - This is the second time I stood there and I’ll be back for a third. The staff was amazing and took care of any and all my needs. About two blocks away from CVS; 1.5 blocks from the line of restaurants. The police department is within a 2 block walking distance and the government’s mansion is maybe 3 blocks to the left one you left the building.

- Kathleen (2/5): - The hotel had blood stained sheets, no hot water, sporadic wifi, used shampoo, conditioner and body gel tubes in shower. TV is a joke, no volume control and very limited channels. The door has a 4 digit code, clerk couldn't find it, so we had to beg to use the front desk clerk for his. The doors are locked and no one is there after 5pm, NO ONE! Don't need help or have an emergency. The clerk tried to help, but really did not care. I would not recommend this place. The only good side it is in a great area.

Have to wait for the guy to get to the front desk, he didn’t returned my I’d and by he vaccine card, he left it in the copier. I called for someone so I can get it back, and there wasn’t no one there. Finally I took it myself.

- Tezel (2/5): - I wish they I could give no stars but I had to choose one of the options on the scale. I made travel accommodations for not sister and to travel to AfroNation Puerto Rico in March 2020 but never got to go because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I emailed them in October 2021 requesting a refund because not traveling was out of my control at that point; airlines suspended travel and the music festival was canceled, but also also would not have been wise to still visit amidst a global emergency. The team responded to me saying they issued a refund in February 2020 and that was not the case. I sent them copies of my bank statements for the time frame that they claimed to send the refund to assure them that I never received the $766 that I spent on accommodations. I really would appreciate getting my money back; I understand that they have a no refund policy but this situation is entirely different as it we are still experiencing this global emergency. Also, it is is absurd and disappointing that they refuse to be honest about the refund.

- Nora (6/5): Pleasant stay. - Location is great. It is right in the middle of Old San Juan. I was able to book it last minute and got the access information quickly. We met Juan during check in. Very nice person and informative. He provided a lot of suggestions and made us feel very welcomed. Room and bathroom were clean. A little small for two king size beds. One title wardrobe for 4 guests.

We were told to park in the parking garage 5 min away by the front desk, but there was plenty of street parking as we walked there. The room was clean, comfortable, but walls are so thin you can hear the person coughing next door. Which was terrible considering housekeeping began cleaning the room near us at 9am w music loudly playing and slamming doors. So stay if you aren’t into sleeping and just need a place to crash. Front of house was very pleasant in the morning, however housekeeping was not
- pxm8436 (6/5): - Small place in Old San Juan - GREAT location. However, the hotel will charge for everything (including keeping your luggage after checkout). Housekeeping will come only once a day around 9am, and do not come back later even if you ask them to. Rooms do not have windows (which we knew about before booking, so it is fine)

- Bradley (8/5): Great location - A charming hotel in the middle of Old San Juan. We stayed one night before departing on a cruise. It’s walking distance to the port of San Juan but you’ll need to take a taxi to the Pan American pier if your ship departs from there.
- Ramona (8/5): - Location was brilliantly central and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. Inside room was clean, tidy & perfect to catch up on sleep. Storage was minimal - hanging for shirt length only and no shelves or countertop in bathroom.

- Wanda (2/5): Big mistake - There was an issue with the water supply so we were asked to check out two days early and were assured we would get our money back for those two days. We had to find a new hotel for that same night. Now apparently they do not want to return us our money.

- Steven (2/5): Horrible Hotel - Front desk never answers the phone, we had reservations and tried to call the phone numerous times. The front door was locked when we arrived and we knocked on the door and no answer, luckily for us someone else who was staying at the hotel had a key for the door and let us in. We walked to the counter and there was 3 people there laughing getting ready to leave early since it was Friday night. We got checked in by a rude female and the service was horrible. The showers were completely cold, filthy floors and walls, paint peeling and paint drippings everywhere from a sloppy paint job. The tv was broken and had no signal after numerous attempts to reboot the system. (And the front counter people leave at 9 so they are no help) there was stained on the bedding and the shower was totally discussing, I felt cleaner when I walked into the shower. This should be a 1 star hotel if that, please don’t waste your money and rent here just go anywhere else and have a good vacation it’s not worth saving a few bucks. Also there is no windows, and the air conditioner did not work properly just blew around warm air the entire night.

- Joel (8/5): cheap stay, everything I needed, no fancyness - Stayed 2 nights, Parking was not so easy to find on the streets, but there is garages near by. Hotel was an old apartment/studio, we got a room with a small window to the inside " plaza" so we got sunlight, all of it was air cond and very cold. Super refreshing for those summer days. Hot water takes a while to come out. No elevator. For the price, I would stay again.

They charge you to check in late and if they even 40 mins late to check out, they charge you a late check out fee. My flight was delayed 4hrs and hit charged $25 because I was late. My son and i hadn’t slept in 2 days due to flight issues and the guy was pounding on the door at exactly noon, told him we would shower and leave and at 1230 he came again. We left the room at 1240 and he charged me $50 for that. Plus I had to wait for him for like 20 mins so he would let us out of the building. I understand that hotels have guidelines, but this was outrageous. Specially when people come from very far and can’t controlled situations. The people of San Juan are very friendly and not sure why the 2 employees from this hotel were so indifferent.

Beware though, our room was on the 2nd floor and it was quite a few steep steep steps to drag our luggage up. The oh so kind front desk guy carried our bags for us, it was so welcomed. Our room was an inside room and didn't have a window, but it was comfortable and fine, we were only in the room for about 8 hours in total.

The phone was not answered when i tried to call the day before check-in and the desk was not staffed when I arrived so I waited over an hour on the street as the door was secured and again the phone was not being answered. Finally got a hold of the “administrator “ by calling the “for rent” sign (not the number listed on Expedia) on the side of the building and a maid let me in. By now other guests were arriving. Amenities are bare and cheap. You can get much better in the same area for the money.

- Rob (10/5): - This hotel is in a perfect location in old San Juan. Everything is within walking distance. Nice clean bed and bathroom, fantastic satellite TV. My colleague and I were here on business and the staff were amazing. Hector and Milan at the front desk did a phenomenal job at accommodating us throughout our unpredictable work schedule down here. On top of everything, the price for each night is incredibly low compared to its competitors. Next time I am down here (whether on business or holiday), they will be my number one choice.

- Tracy (10/5): Nice hotel! - We checked in at 11pm and the lady at the front desk was wonderful. The rooms are small but that was fine with us because we were only sleeping and showering there. We checked out the next morning and was able to walk to the cruise port. If we ever get to come back to Puerto Rico we would definitely stay again.

- Tammy (6/5): - This is not a 3.5 star hotel. This hotel is centrally located, which is its best feature. The single room has literally a bed in it and nothing else, not even a nightstand. The only light is the overhead light and as an interior room you need to use a flashlight to get from light switch, around your bag which has to sit on the floor and into the bed. TV didn't work either. Staff was very friendly and tried their best to fix TV.

- CiarraM (4/5): - This property is very old and needs updating. We overpaid greatly. There wasn't any hot water, the water pressure was minimal (then we noticed there was probably a leak behind the wall), there was one small trashcan in the bathroom and nothing anywhere else. No phone in the room to call the front desk, you have to call from your cell phone. The air conditioner in one of the rooms was stuck at 17 degrees Celsius and wouldn't move up and there were not blankets on the bed in that room. There were only sheets. When we tried to go find someone at 1130pm to get blankets (they say they have someone on the property the whole time) we weren't able to. My parents were in that room and were so cold all night. You could hear every noise around you. We had a sound machine on trying to block out some of the noise so our children could sleep. The location is great and the front desk staff was really sweet but I would never stay there again.

But the hotel staff said they had no evidence of my reservation and were completely booked for the night. I spent several hours in the lobby trying to find a new place to stay and was unsuccessful, during that time I didn't even see 1 other guest come in or out. This place cancelled my booking without prior notification to me or expedia because they were getting a premium rate from FIMA if they had vacancies. Completely upset and left without a place to stay.
- jess (10/5): - Had a late Check in, as long as you contact the hotel before and let them know they will work with you. Super awesome. Had a check in at 1am.
- Verified traveler (8/5): My hotel. - The room was solid and safe. 24/7 people at desk, however they didn't answer the phone when I called. Room was small but very comfortable bed. Shower left room to be desired but bathroom itself was nice overall. Location was sensational.
- C (6/5): - One person hotel, no blow dryer, no ironing board, no kitchen, no dresser for clothing. Only two persons could survive in one room, a family of three will need two rooms. The hotel is well decorated.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great little hotel, excellent location - Excellent location and price. I just needed a place to sleep, shower, be in a convenient location and not too much money. This hotel checked all those boxes. I have no complaints at all. I'll be staying here again.
