- Lara (10/5): This property is a real gem. the hosts though of everything and location is stunning - Beautiful cottage with fireplace. I loved the location and how quiet it was. My favourite thing was a huge bedroom window upstairs and waking up to tree tops rolling over into the distance the bed was a little bit too soft for my liking

- yang brook (6/5): - 床鋪舒適好睡,白天日光採光好。 蚊蟲真的太多,簡易冰箱無法冷凍,快煮爐髒污不敢使用。

- Roohi (2/5): Deluxe was far from deluxe very disappointing - It looked from the outside a lovely property described as a deluxe property on the website and I liked what I thought was a secluded location. The property was very disappointing. It was not a deluxe property. It was tired and of very average decoration. It was open to the elements at the back with no facility to pull curtains across the curtains there were only covered half the room. It was not quiet as expected as cars could be heard all night spoiling the tranquil atmosphere. The light in the bathroom did not work which made things difficult in the evening and it was freezing and the heater did not work.
- Gonzalez Rivera (8/5): Glamping or just an expensive tent? - It’s very créate how they use the Spaces, the eco retire was a nice big tent Is way to for from the beach and probably in winter is not a good opción
- Jackie (9/5): This is a lovely cottage set in nature, just out of Lorne, and was a great place to stay. - The cottage was just like the photos, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location just out of Lorne meant it was very peaceful, and we loved waking up to the wildlife around the property. The communications provided on the location of the cottage and access to the keys were easy to understand and helpful and so checking in was very easy and flexible.
- Helen (10/5): Serene nature stay minutes from Lorne - Minutes from the town centre and yet completely surrounded by nature. We saw kangaroos, lots of cockatoos (who came to visit us on the balcony), some kookaburras and even an echidna. No complaints

- Agnieszka Daria (10/5): -
- Adrian (10/5): Sorprendente - Ubicación en la naturaleza y lo bien equipado que estaba para ser una “tienda safari”, todo lo necesario para poder passar el tiempo que se quiera. No hubo nada que no me gustara.

- Paula (10/5): Wonderful stay in nature - The location really made it for us. The views were lovely and experiencing the wildlife up close was amazing. We had cockatoos on the veranda and at dusk there were lots of kangaroos feeding on the grass outside the cottage.
The interior is a little dated but was clean and the beds comfortable. It was well equipped and we made use of the BBQ on the veranda.
- Clare (10/5): - It was beautiful and peaceful
- Elke (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - A perfect cottage set among the trees above Lorne!
- chede (9/5): -
- Cate (7/5): Nice quiet getaway close to Lorne. - Nice location. Nice to be up in the bush. Shower temperature was inconsistent - hot and clod.

- xcaptainsashax (8/5): Glamping at its best - The bed was super comfy, being surrounded by bushland, while still being able to hear the ocean was amazing 😍 The walking tracks around the property were a really nice touch. I also enjoyed having the ensuite bathroom, made late night trips to the toilet easy. Honestly the worst thing was the cockatoos, they were so loud as we were trying to sleep (Thank god we packed earplugs) and woke us up before sunrise, but that's wildlife. 🤷🏼♀️
- Natasha (10/5): -
- Nick (10/5): -
- Michele (6/5): - Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the forest.
Everything is clean and put in a way that you do not find any surprises (spiders, snakes, etc.) The price was a bit exaggerated given the services the location provided. Reachable only by car.

- Khunno (8/5): -
- Marlein (9/5): - The morning view and the sound of the birds to wake up to was a great experience Mattress and linen could have been better
- Jessica (7/5): We loved being this close to nature. We didn’t love the bugs. - The location was incredible. We had up close experiences with birds and kangaroos. It was extraordinary. There were so many bugs. So many bugs. The second night oh my goodness. I’ve never seen so many bugs inside a location in my life. To be fair they were in a heat wave and I’m sure that the circumstances were the exception not the rule.
- Svenja (10/5): Einfach nur aussergewöhnlich schön 🤩 - Alles Nichts
- Isaline (10/5): Perfect oasis close to Lorne - An absolutely delightful oasis away from the crowds of lorne but an easy drive to the beaches. The safari tents were so delightful to stay in and so quiet and calm. Extra perks of some bird visitors and kangaroos in the evening.
- Grete (8/5): - Close to the nature and the birds and kangaroos.

- Stephen (9/5): Stephen - The peace and quiet and also the nature No wifi
- Clement (8/5): - Lovely area Quite high in price for facilities marketed as deluxe but no extra blankets pillows. I have been at many other non delux stays which have provided better facilities

- Viraj (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Lorne Bush House Cottages & Eco Retreats. The cottages are beautifully nestled in nature, offering complete peace and privacy. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. Waking up to birdsong and surrounded by greenery was truly refreshing. Perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the busy city life. Highly recommended for couples and nature lovers.

- Janice (9/5): Loved the cottage. - We originally booked one of the eco tents but when we gotbthere it was extremely windy and cold. The staff letvus upgradevto one of the cottages without issue. The cottage was great. It was colder than expected for early summer so really appreciated the heated blankets. Bright and sunny, cozy. Loved being in the trees although it was a little further out of town than expected. The cocktails and parents were amazing. Was a little further from town than expected.
- Elli (10/5): -
- Alona (8/5): - The place is pretty cute. But I think the price is too high for this property. There was not salt and pepper, low quantity of kitchen stuff. The cockatoo were gorgeous:) we were so happy to contact them. It was nice that stuff left special food for birds inside I really don’t understand why I can’t take my small dog in there
- Matt (10/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): Great experience, comfortable, highly recommend - Wonderful location, quiet, relaxing, heart of nature. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.
- Dave (7/5): - Very nice location, the tent was great as the weather during our stay was terrible (wind and rain) and we were worried it would be too cold etc. but it was fine. nothing at all, the accommodation was great
- Tahlia (8/5): -
- Eider (4/5): -
- Ka Pou (10/5): A lovely place to stay in, and stay with the cockatoos - The house was comfy and cozy. I love playing with and feeding those lovely cockatoos that visited the balcony. I also enjoyed watching the starry sky at night.
- Jane (8/5): Stopover along the Great Ocean Road - Nice to be a little out of town in the bush. It was fine for one night.
- Sarah (9/5): Amazing experience! We will be back - Loved the location, comfort and setup. The peaceful morning on balcony with the birds and kangaroos around. Last minute decision to stay In town, wish we decided earlier and had more time
- Westlake (7/5): - Lovely space, clean and tidy with lots of info on things to do Unfortunately the weather was extremely windy which meant it was really loud and I couldn’t sleep!
This place would be an absolute gem in the summer- perfect for families wanting to spend some time quality time together
- Sarah (10/5): BEST accommodation stay - The fire place was ready to light when we arrived, bird seed provided to feed the wildlife, and the bed was like sleeping on a magical cloud. Our stay was too short
- Bronwen (9/5): -
- Harshjot Kaur (8/5): -
- Adrian (10/5): -
- Jun Chen (10/5): Would return for the cottage experience - An authentic cottage experience, with cockatoos and kangaroos visiting us in the morning! Love the fireplace as well! It’s a short drive from the main road but it does get a bit windy if done repetitively
- Shaun (3/5): Place good management and customer service extremely poor - Locational The management was terrible. We booked with the expectation to use the dam and we were not notified it was closed. It was not listed when we booked. Very disappointing and the way management dealt with it was horrific.
- Zeljko (10/5): -
- Marnie (10/5): Book it! You won't be disappointed!! - Impromptu trip away and I absolutely couldn't resist booking this accommodation (we booked the tent). All the thoughtful details, from oil for the BBQ, to the salt & pepper, to the super warm electric blankets on the beds (100% needed), comfort is number 1 priority.
In Winter, be prepared for very cold temps - extra layers, ugg boots etc.
Highly recommend this accom.
- Kylie (10/5): Amazing will put this on return location - What an amazing quiet location with beautiful cottage...loved the huge window in bedroom upstairs Fire took a bit to get going due to door not sealing properly
- Katharine (9/5): Easy to reach but feels secluded and surrounded by nature - The location is great. Easy reach of the town, but you feel you are tucked away. Lots of wildlife and great views. We particularly enjoyed feeding the cockatoos and seeing the kangaroos outside first thing in the morning. The cottage was very cosy and well equipped. We were there in winter so it was a bit chilly and hard to get the main room warm, although we did enjoy having the log stove it just didn't really heat the big room. We were able to heat the children's room with the plug in radiator provided and our room upstairs had A/C heating. We couldn't get the ceiling fan going in the right direction for circulating heat.
However this is a really tiny niggle as we had a fantastic night, loved the cottage and wished we were staying longer.
- nadi (10/5): Fantastic stay.. - Engagement with the nature was fantastic
- Delphine (10/5): l’émerveillement de notre famille entourée des cacatoès - l’emplacement dans la nature et le déjeuner avec les cacatoès
le poêle à bois rien
- Ian (8/5): -
- Xavier (10/5): Exceptional - Some lamps would absolutely do those lovely safari tents wonders. :) Some lamps would absolutely do those lovely safari tents wonders. :)
- Penny (10/5): A lovely relaxing place to spend a night or longer a home away from home. - Loved the lush bush location so peaceful, the toasty fire, very comfy bed.
Feeding the birds on the balcony was great Nothing!
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Berta (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautiful and the kids enjoyed playing on the grounds and feeding the birds was a highlight for them.
- Veronique (7/5): Cute experience but expensive for what it actually was. - Lovely bush setting. Beds comfortable and electric blanket was warm. Personally written photo album information book was a lovely touch. According to the information given ,expected a fire pit close by, but it was a decent walk away in the cold and dark.
Heater could have been bigger and therefore warmer. Shower was temperamental in temperature (even following the instructions). These aren't major things but it was quite expensive accomodation so I was expecting a bit more.
- Rachel (7/5): Lovely spot to escape the world for a few nights! - The view from the balcony of all the lovely gum trees. We were even visited by a sulfur crested cockatoo! The fire didn't seem to heat the room, no matter which setting we had it on. The spa jets didn't work.
- Mia (7/5): Comfortable stay with the 'feeling in a tent' -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
