Guest Reviews
- Dwayne (10/5): - Great spot to relax while in transit
- Martin (8/5): - For an airport hotel it was pretty good. Staff were extremely helpful as I had some injuries and was on crutches.
- Marissa (8/5): - We stayed at the one inside customs/immigration for a 6-hour layover. Perfectly adequate for a stay, there is food in the lounge and with a priority card, it is free. The hotel is relatively quiet considering that there are people likely going in and out at all hours of the day. Friendly service and decent rooms. It isn't anything to write home about, but works well when you have a layover at KL.
- paul (8/5): - Very convenient if you have a late night or early morning flight from Terminal One. Not good if you are flying into or out of terminal two because the transfer between terminals is substantial.
- Jaswinder (8/5): - Everything GOOD 👍❤️
- Jonathan (10/5): - Large room, staff was very accommodating when assisting us to extend our stay due to a delay with our airline. View on the tarmac was nice. Great shower pressure.
- Tejpal (10/5): - Staff was good room was good too.
- Patrice Charles (10/5): - Very convenient hotel situated inside the terminal after security which means you can rest and shower here while waiting for your next flight.
They have a lounge area where you can eat - you can use your Priority Pass so that you can eat for free.
You can book in blocks of 6 hours and then you can book additional hours if needed.
- Apola.S (8/5): - Accessible to the airport
- DAWN (8/5): - In between delayed flights it was the resting place I needed. Conveniently located and easy to access.
- lucky (10/5): - Very nice staff 👍
- Timoci Tuivuna (6/5): - Spacious and g00d services
- Christine (10/5): - So easy
- Ian (6/5): - I stayed here overnight between flights. My check-in was not a problem. The receptionist asked me if I would like a wake-up call in the morning. I replied that I would and gave her a time. This wake-up call failed to happen. It might pay guests to not to rely on these wake-up calls.
My sleep was disturbed by the noises through the paper-thin walls. I heard what appeared to be a cleaner in another room at about four o'clock in the morning. As well, I was able to hear others guests coming and going. Sadly, some guests are not considerate towards others.
This hotel is perfect though, for stays between flights.
- Kom Pal (10/5): - Great place to stay inside Airport
- Rajan (10/5): - Convenient
- kok aun (8/5): - Comfortable bed and pillow
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect place to spend a long transit - Very convenient stay if in long transit situation. Quiet and restful room. Very clean and tidy.
- Anita (10/5): - A
- Perla (8/5): - Happy to have booked at Sama-sama. Afforded us the chance to have a good rest when we had a 12-hr wait for our next flight. Hotel room was clean.
Negative- too noisy inconsiderate next room neighbors
- Neil (10/5): Good stopover option. - Very convenient, good quality rooms. Helps fill the gap when travelling with a few hours stopover.
- Marie Noelle (10/5): - Transit at Sama Sama was easy, comfortable. Thank you!
- M.Amir S (8/5): - Quiet, cleanliness and fresh looking room..
- Raj Kiran Mathew (10/5): - Very good facility with easy access
- Ravinder (10/5): - Property was very clean staff was really helpful. Food was really nice and affordable.
- Christina (4/5): - POSITIVES: Fabulous customer service at the front desk. Five star rating. Location was great.
NEGATIVES: There was used toilet paper in the bathroom bin; paper under the desk; and a child's small pink ruler on the side of the bed. Obviously, they made the bed but that was it. Very disappointing.
AVERAGE: Management must consider offering a variety of meals options for people who are intollerent or allergic to different types of foods that may cause a medical emergency like death. I was unable to eat most of the food offered. However, if you have no food intolerances or allergies then dining her is a good option.
- Rajandeep (10/5): - Nice facility’s and good for long layover at klia 1
- Gagan (10/5): - I really enjoy the place . Even the staff was also good in behaviour
- Thing-Hsiang (10/5): - Great option for a rest especially if you have at least 3 hours transit at KLIA 1.
- Marie Noelle (10/5): - Staff are kind and welcoming and it has been an easy experience, thank you.
- Asma (8/5): - Staff are slow and check in was a long process- especially irritating after a long flight. They did not even explain how to get to the rooms and how it’s the same reception for the paid lounge. Rooms were big and spacious and good amenities. Hot water and shower was strong pressure. Sufficient stay for one night- easy to follow signs to the hotel. Would recommend.
- Cilla (8/5): - Checked in for the night, was upgraded to deluxe room. It’s clean, comfortable but couldn’t get the kettle work to make a cup of tea!
- Javeria (10/5): - Very nice
- Robert (10/5): - Good place to get a kip whilst in transit
- Sidney (10/5): - Quiet, convenient transit hotel, has a Priority Pass inside hotel.
Shower good, but could have a shower curtain or screen, as water went on floor.
- Judith (10/5): - Very handy for a long stop over , great food and comfy bed .
But you will need your own toiletries if you want a shower !
- Wayne (6/5): - Didnt realize the airport had two Sama-Sama Hotels. Too tired after 7-hour taxi ride to go find the one Id reserved. Was given credit for my payment, but charged excessively for the new Sama-Sama-- nearly the original amount. / Otherwise, yes, the hotel was convenient and comfortable.

- Ramesh (8/5): - Good for long layover at the Airport. It was a bit noisy as rooms are not soundproof.
- Matt (10/5): - Awesome service and great place to stay on a layover
- Misbahuddin (10/5): - It was great pleasure to have an easily accessible place to relax in between transit flights.
- Hemal (8/5): - Reception staff could do better in making guests feel welcomed
- Douglas (2/5): - It was a non-existant stay. Why should 2 transit hotels at KLIA have practically the same name? We landed KLIA2 on a domestic flt from Penang on 27th, then were told to shift to KLIA1 which we did, then were brought to Sama Sama Hotel...which couldn’t find any booking under my name. So I had to pay extra to them to get a nite's stay for us. I am so put out with Hotels.com for not clarifying which hotel i should have made a booking. Wasted time, money, & energy. Totally flumoxed!
- David (8/5): - The room was a little dusty and we may have gotten diarhhea from the food.
- Douglas (10/5): - Very convenient Hotel right in the Airport. The hotel would meet the needs of most Tourists
- Takuro (8/5): - Nice
- Karen (10/5): - Perfect for a long layover
Sleep and shower
- Simarjit (10/5): - Convenient and value for money

- Louise (6/5): - Easy to access
- Stuart (10/5): - Easy to at C gates, helpful staff and quiet room
- Karin (8/5): - Great place to sleep during transit. So people were quiet loud in the hallways during the night
- Claudia (6/5): - They only had 6 hours stay ,for me it is too short and they charge $54 per hour for extended stay.It is expensive
- Elise (10/5): - The hotel was located inside the terminal where I landed in between flights. I slept well and it was very quiet inside my room. The staff was wonderful!!
- Rachel (10/5): - Very convenient
- jasroop (10/5): - very happy
- Lawrence (10/5): - Easy to get to in the airport
- Dean (2/5): Avoid. Stay at another local hotel - Misleading from the beginning. I never got to check in, so Im surprised they want my review. I missed my flight out of KL due to poor traffic and rebooked for an early international flight the next morning. So I booked a room not knowing I couldnt use it without checking my suitcase in. Unless you are in transit or can check your bag in, its not of much use.
- Alex (2/5): - Wrong hotel
- Rupinder (10/5): - Everything was good
- CHING MON (8/5): - The room was spacious and with good supplies of amenities. Good enough for a short stay during transit. The shower was not hot enough though.
- Nicola (8/5): - Helpful staff
- Klaus (4/5): - Rooms like in solitary confinment. Not even a window.
- sree Devi (10/5): Excellent - It was comfortable and convenient.
- Kunjupillai (10/5): - Excellent
- Cheryl (10/5): - Sama Sama Express was an ideal place for my layover of almost 14hrs. The transit hotel is located in a convenient spot of the Satellite terminal. The room was clean, quiet and close to the aero train and bus for an easy transfer to the Main terminal gate G from where my connecting flight departed. The staff were welcoming and I got the much needed rest before my next flight. Would highly recommend this property for a long layover at KLIA.
- Andrew (10/5): - Excellent value for in flight layover.
- Julie (10/5): - With a 12 hour stopover, it was perfect to be able to have a shower, go to the toilet, have a sleep and just chill in our own private room instead of hanging around the airport. It made the stop very pleasant thankyou.
- Richard (10/5): - Excellent service
- Kiran (8/5): - We had a layover for 11 hours and stayed for 6 hours for a sleep!
Pleasantly surprised at facilities and room was quiet and we had a good rest before our next flight in the morning !
It’s nothing fancy, basic but I’d all you need for a sleep and shower with added little things like towels , toothbrush , shower cap safe and fridge !
- Timothy (8/5): - Very convenient for long layovers.
- Baldev Singh (8/5): - Booked hotel for my parents. They loved it. Staff was nice. apart from Breakfast thingy, I emailed hote 10x times minimum but automated emails, asking for flight details. No communication been made at all. Parents aren’t very good in speaking Malay/English. Absolute joke of communication.
- Sarah (6/5): - Fine for an overnight stay.
- Michelle (6/5): - It was a ok stopover hotel. But staff were noisy and should have known guests were sleeping. Loud conversations..
- Megan (10/5): - We had an 11hr layover so this was the perfect place to get some rest before our long-haul flight. Easy to locate in the airport and check-in was very smooth.
- ZHUOMIN (10/5): - Inside the airport transit terminal. Very convenient for resting between two connecting flights.
- Amanda (6/5): - Hotel, although not flash, had everything required for an overnight layover. Would recommend for this purpose just to get a decent nights sleep.

- Sonia (10/5): - Very good
- Susan (10/5): - Great place to stay between flights at KLIA
- William (10/5): - Met our needs
- Paul (10/5): - Staff friendly, hotel provided for our needs in transit.
- kin (8/5): - Hand wash soap is not being refilled otherwise good overall
- Steven (8/5): - Small, basic, windowless room but it was clean and all I needed for a 9 hour lay-over in KL.
- Chiat Ai (10/5): - Perfect choice for any transit passenger
- Sujith (10/5): - Hotels located very close to the departure gates, excellent staff and service
