Guest Reviews
- Nicole (1/5): Didn’t stay. Requested a refund and no response - Couldn’t find the room. Asked a resident. Went to the toilet below and that was enough to put me off staying. Went elsewhere As above
- Julian (5/5): -
- Krystof (4/5): -
- David (8/5): - Room was very clean and quiet Nothing
- Aastha (7/5): Perfect for a night stay. - Cabin was specious. Bunk bed. While few of the kitchen utensils were new some were really not good. Ceramic pot was all scratched. There was some rubbish left from previous guests. They weren’t removed. Pillow cover and towel were moldy. Hand soap wasn’t working in the bathroom. Curtain was on the verge of falling. There was huge spider stuck on our cabin’s fly screen door and there wasn’t any insect killer in the cabin.
- Waseem (10/5): - Nice and clean
- Soh Theng (8/5): -
- Maisie (9/5): Perfectly cozy area - The whole cabin was gorgeous and clean and very cosy for the night. Location is amazing and very quiet. We did not interact with any staff and were not aware of free WiFi. We did not know when booking that the bathroom was separated from the cabin and were under the impression from the listing that the "mountain view" was outside of the cabin window.
Neither of these things mattered to us and we would still recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Bright but more transparency would be nice.
- Ashraful (3/5): Manager is not professional - Manager is very bad . He does not know how to handle the issue , and not neutral He is not fair to handle the issue , try to push or scare someone, very sad
- Jessie (4/5): - Comfy bed Very Noisy position right next to rd
White tail spider in main bed
Sheets were dirty
Wet tissue thrown against the wall
Dirty floors
Mosquitos everywhere in cabin
- Ashraful (1/5): I won’t recommend others to stay there. - Located close to the town No fence therefore not safe for children. Cabins are too small and not clean.
- Mei (8/5): - Bathrooms not good
- Joc S (7/5): Great budget stay close to Bright, Wandiligong, Harrietville, and Hotham. - Great location close to Bright, Wandiligong and Harrietville. Managers very helpful and friendly. Cabins had crisp bed linen, good quality towels, nice china and kitchen ware, and were exceptionally clean. Compared to other accommodation in Bright they were good value for money (although some are in need of an update). Pets are allowed in some cabins. There is a pool and playground. The trail to Bright and Harrietville is just across the road. Camp sites looked nice and flat and some had views up the valley. The price of the cabins reflects what you get. I recommend going for the more expensive choices. We had our dog with us and were comfortable in Bogong level.
- Thi (10/5): - clean
- Paul (1/5): -
- Josh (1/5): My request for my $126 that it kept of mine. - Booking.com will not Respond to

- Owen (10/5): Lovely accommodation with super helpful staff - Really lovely rooms at a great price. My partner accidentally left her scarf behind, and the staff were super helpful in getting it back to us.
- Angelo (1/5): NEVER AGAIN - Nothing. Despite it being Self Check In, we were prevented access by ( I assume ) an Employee when attempting to locate the Cabin.
- Jolanta (8/5): - The setting of the site was neat, and the cabin was tastefully arranged and decorated.
- Devang Patel (9/5): -
- Jill (7/5): Ideal for one night! - Beds were comfortable , room was very clean and warm . Great for a nights stopover. I had a treetops twin room only … In the Treetops twin room the bed quilt was not warm enough, so I had to use the other quilt as well !
- Kim (5/5): - toilet separate to room
- Thi (8/5): - Nice place Nil
- Kylie (8/5): - The location, just out of town The loud cabin next door last night
- Emily (8/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- Sarah (1/5): Great location, nice looking pool, but the rest felt like a chaotic episode of ‘what could possibly go wrong’ and everyt - The location was close to Bright, which was ideal because it meant we could mentally plan our exit strategy faster. The pool looked great, genuinely the only thing on the property that didn’t make me question whether I’d accidentally booked a survival challenge instead of accommodation. This place needs to be studied.
The bathroom was beyond disgusting, it was a full sensory experience no one asked for. The tiles were yellow, mouldy, missing in sections, and the smell when you walked in was like a hot, humid wall of something that should not exist indoors. After a five hour drive, we were so desperate to feel clean that we sat in the car and seriously debated washing ourselves in the pool using the tiny soap from the room. That is not a joke. That is what this place reduced us to.
The bog roll snow balls were mounted near the ceiling like it was part of an art installation. I don’t know who designed that, but I need answers. When we spoke to the owner at 11:00pm while actively trying not to cry, we were told a cleaner would be sent in the morning, which is great in theory, except we required a usable, hygienic bathroom immediately, not a delayed cleaning schedule.
The room itself was the size of a walk in wardrobe that had been aggressively overfurnished. The beds were so high they felt like hospital theatre tables, you had to physically launch yourself onto them. I’m not short, and I still nearly fell out in the morning like I was dismounting gym equipment. No bedside tables, no lamps, just darkness and vibes once the main light went off, good luck finding your bed without a torch.
The furniture arrangement made zero sense. Two chairs awkwardly facing a tiny book rack that looked like it came straight from a Kmart clearance bin, like we were meant to sit there and contemplate life. And the treetop view, absolutely not. The view was a dirt embankment with no tree tops in sight. The window you’re meant to enjoy this from was covered in cobwebs like it hadn’t been cleaned since early civilisation. It felt less like a getaway and more like staring into the void.
And I’m sorry, but whoever gave this place a 9 out of 10 is either delusional, blind, bribed, or related to the owner. There is no logical explanation.
- maria (8/5): - The cabin was good for a short stay. The bathroom space was limited, and the kitchenware and cutlery appeared outdated.
- Sangeeta (7/5): -
- Campbell (10/5): - The quietness of the place the views and the rustic feel the cozyness of the cabins and the ability to relax was so easy There wasnt anything not to like the facillities were adequete and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
- Renee (10/5): -
- Loretta (1/5): We didn’t end up staying - Well situated but poor directions on the website The accommodation stated shared bathroom which would have been fine but it turned out that the amenities was in fact accessed via a metal staircase outside the building and was available for anyone in the park to use. Example the kids playground was outside the amenities. The building was very basic- again not a problem but the bathrooms were concrete block, no heating
- Dan (6/5): -
- Robert (6/5): - Both of us kept rolling into the middle of a squeaky double bed.
- GULCAN AYKURT (4/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Extremely accommodating, friendly and accommodating staff, we will be back. - Our school group were met with several challenges during our stay (not to do with the accommodation) and Managers Jo, Col and team could not have been more helpful and accommodating of our needs. This included things like helping us access a larger BBQ for a group, finding space for people to store bikes etc Highly recommend for a friendly and helpful stay A little bit out of Bright town which meant a walk into town is a good hour plus round trip, however this was a benefit by making the accommodation peaceful
- Daniel (1/5): - The accommodation was dirty with smelly bed sheets; and stained linen and sofas.
- Erastus (7/5): -
- Gareth (4/5): Good location and facilities but was unhappy with the false advertising - Good location Booked mystic cube with garden view but the view was a static camper van 3 metres away
- Denis (10/5): -
- Ben (8/5): -
- Gurpreet (10/5): -
- Kate (7/5): Great for bike riders - Cheap and cheerful, had all we needed without any fuss.
The facilities were older but clean.
The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome.
Its about 4km from town but a great bike ride along the bike trail. The kids loved bush walking expeditions accross the road. Is on a main road (as seen in the pics), was fine for us but would worry me a bit with smaller kids.
- Jason (10/5): - Bedroom is very clean with bright light.
- Jena (6/5): Warm hearted neighbours - Warm, good heater/aircon, clean rooms Small, bathroom and toilets could use more regular cleaning
- Andrew (5/5): Good if nothing else available in town - Location, not too far out of town The size and cleanliness of the site
- John (7/5): Met my expectations very adequately - Clean and comfy.
- Millie (8/5): -
- Klodiana (8/5): -
- Matthew (6/5): -
- Georgianne (10/5): we would highly recomend to friends and family. - I was really surprised when we walked into our Tree Top room. from the outside you would think the place is old and run down, but i was so wrong. the room was very clean, carpets fresh and puffy, the beds were hotel grade and linens were clean and crisp.
- thomas (4/5): Not going back again - 3 km from the city center All infrastructure is outdated and cheap. No personal to be seen
- Talitha (8/5): Comfortable, quiet and easy. - Pod was new, clean and comfortable Bathroom separate from the pod even though advertised as private. Would have been handy to have a sink in the room when the bathroom is separate
- Lyn (8/5): Absolutely love the area and perfect little cabin for my family and fur baby - Lovely location, clean and comfortable cabin. Great to be able to have my dog stay!
- Malcolm (10/5): Quieter park just a couple of minutes from Bright town centre. - Being a little out of town meant the park was quieter. I mostly rode the push bike into town which only took 10 or 15 minutes. Enjoyed a dip in the pool after a long day of activities in the Bright area too.
Would stay again.

- Chris (8/5): We had a great time at this park and will be coming back with our caravan to enjoy the facilities. - The staff were very helpful and polite we had a great time. One day hopefully we will be coming back in our caravan to have a good time again at this great place. No comments to say what we didn't like.
- Shelley (10/5): We loved our POD stay -
- Judith (1/5): Extremely disappointing - I was extremely disappointed with the accommodations.. your advertising on Booking.com did not mention the cabin had no facilities. My husband is 84 years old and it is impossible to have a room with no toilet or bathroom.
The person on the other end of the phone showed no empathy in fact she was dismissive
We did not use the accommodation which was nothing but a Pod with a bed in it
We made other arrangements.
I am requesting my money back because of misrepresentation on your part. I would not have booked your accommodation if I had known what it was

- Andrea (8/5): Great value for money, conveninet location. - We stayed in a Hotham cabin, there was 2 of us so plenty of room though it could sleep 4. It was clean and provided enough of the basics to be self contained and independant. We could park next to the cabin making it easier for day trips with bags. Was quiet location and ideal for getting to and from Falls Creek. Nothing to mention.

- Stephen (7/5): Not sure about this place, we felt a bit like we were a bit out of place. - Some of the residents were friendly enough Location was well away from restaurants and pubs but also close to the main road
Check in is without any direct meeting with staff so gaining local knowledge of the place was not possible
- John (1/5): Never Again - Nothing The whitetails in the bed and the dead bugs everywhere
- Zabihullah (10/5): -
- Hassan (10/5): -
- Paul (3/5): Not good - Nothing really Wi Fi was terrible and watching tv was very bad with some channels and bbq’s were dirty and the cabins we stayed in were old very old.

- Lizzie (10/5): It was so fun and comfortable. We loved the accomodation! - It was very clean! It had air con and heater and the bed was comfy The road was slightly noisy but that is not the fault of the property!
