The toilet and shower were also poorly maintained and quite dusty. Overall, I would rate the cleanliness 1 out of 10.

- Janine (4/5): The only redeeming features you have are the lady on reception and the pool temperature. I’ve stayed in NRMA all over an - Absolutely nothing! I admit I went with a family budget cabin for one night at a cost of $160, but did not expect to find the kid bed not made up. Linen was provided for the kid bed, but I had to channel my inner contortionist to try and make up the bed. Also, having decided she wanted the top bunk, it was only later that I realised the bottom rung of the ladder was missing, which meant she had to contort her little self to get out of bed…which is when we decided the lower bunk was the best bet (I did not tell her what I had found whilst making up the bottom bed or else she would have been climbing in with me…glad she didn’t after I woke up covered in bites, despite wearing full pjs). Knowing my kid has night terrors I also had to make up the other bunk in case she woke up in the night…whilst doing so I found a sanitary pad under the wooden slats of the lower bunk, along with two half drank small bottles of Woolworths spring water on the windowsill, plus a charger cord and some stickers… When I went into the area where the shower and toilet are situated in the cabin, there was filth in each corner of that area…and not just an accidental one off missed corner, there was dust bunnies and hair (not from the head) that had clearly had time to have a few pals join the little collective they were cultivating. The dishes were absolutely disgusting! I assume because there is a sign saying any extra cleaning will be billed, so I would hazard a guess that previous tenants gave a quick rinse of what they used and placed them back in the cupboard. I took the smart move of washing any item of crockery or cutlery before using. I do absolutely appreciate that I paid $165 for the privilege of using the park for a grand total of 15 hours during a peak season. See above!

The cabins were neat and clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and games room. Would have liked the cafe to have more variety, few more essentials. No swings for the kids. And unfortunately no spa anymore.

The facilities and grounds were kept in fantastic condition and its location made it feel like you were really a long way out in the countryside although you were only about a 15 minute drive from a shopping centre. The cabin was very well laid out and the bed was super comfortable and the kitchenette had all you could want to prepare meals. My favourite on site feature was the indoor heated pool which was a great place to go to unwind.

Damage to walls. The outside of the cabin beside us has external damage. They need to upgraded. Very dated.
