Os funcionários daqui só pensam em cobrar e meu cartão, não sei o motivo, não estava passando no site de reservas. Eles só falavam que eu devia. Certo, disso eu sabia e paguei. O problema não era esse,mas sim com o transporte fornecido por outra empresa do grupo, a Go2.Namibia não tem ônibus ou outra empresa que faça deslocamentos pelo interior, apenas eles que fazem entre as várias unidades de hotel deles próprios. Mas,eu não conseguia comprar para sair daqui e eles não entenderam,mesmo eu usando o tradutor da Internet. Acabou,eles disseram que reservaram e eu paguei a hospedagem e o transfer,mas o carro NÃO APARECEU, na outra madrugada. Esse é outro problema da go2,só tem saída pela manhã (7h) em certos destinos. Fiquei sem transporte e sem hotel, pois este estava lotado neste dia,que era sábado. Após muito tempo, arranjaram outro, que achei melhor, para mim e transferiram o transporte para o domingo. Tudo bem, foi feito assim e estou saindo do país nesta semana, conforme o meu planejamento.As outras reservas,por sorte no mesmo grupo,tiveram que ser alteradas. Quanto ao hotel em si,é composto por um largo corredor,com escadas de 3 degraus para chegar aos quartos. Parece de propósito, eu sempre falo na reserva "NO STAIRS" pois não subo,e me deram o último quarto deste corredor, fazendo com que eu tivesse problemas também para fazer a longa caminhada, para mim,além de subir os três degraus. Ando arrastando a perna, não posso tirar o pé do chão e lá tem um tapete pesado ao sair da cama. Não gosto de tapetes e, quando os encontro,tiro do caminho. Porém, esse é muito pesado, não consegui e tive que deixar. Na madrugada, levei um tombo.Levantei e tudo bem,mas e se fosse um velhinho, ia ficar no chão?

• Deirdre (10/5): I felt very welcomed by Manager, Laina and her team; they made me feel at home. I slept really well. - I was there for one night. Breakfast was great; a wonderful array of choices: mini quiches,bacon, breads. The best was the Namibian oysters and champagne! You can't beat Namibian oysters and they're so good for you. No complaints as my room was spacious and had a view etc. Not all rooms have a view. There's no dinner but a choice to have small meals up until 9 pm, which is fine. Fridge in room.

Jeden Morgen haben wir uns auf das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet gefreut, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, Strand und Innenstadt schnell fußläufig erreichbar. Unser Auto stand während unseres Aufenthalts sicher auf dem durch Tore gesicherten Parkplatz. gar nichts
• SIMONA (10/5): Piacevolo sorpresa alla fine del viaggio - Arredamento moderno, camere nuove, esterno delle camere con giardini antistanti molto curati, molto gradevole, staff cordiale e pronto ad ogni esigenza. Posizione comoda per raggiungere il centro con una breve passeggiata, la sera però dopo il tramonto e’ sconsigliato uscire da sola per sicurezza.
• Susan (6/5): Very noisy, no lift, good sized rooms - The room was spacious, had a large balcony and felt newly decorated The noise, the noise, the noise. No lift, “bar snacks” because although posted as such there was no restaurant, one bedside light not two, all lights in the bathroom including the fan on one switch so if you wanted to keep a light on to find it in the middle of the night you had the fan noise, you also had the fan noise from next door and the noise every time they flushed. Pub next door provided added noise. And evening receptionist was not very well trained on making people feel valued

• JanineP40 (10/5): Energetic Decor - We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour and loved our accommodation. The staff were efficient and friendly, the rooms spacious, quiet and comfortable. AC, private patio, large walk in shower, great wifi, amazing reception with licensed bar and restaurant. Breakfast was included and was varied and delicious. Walking distance to waterfront, shopping, banks and landmarks.

Higher numbers are located close to a bar that generates a lot of noise. Shouting people, music, slamming car doors. Not very pleasant even with all windows closed. We moved to a different room. Also because the airco was leaking water on one of the beds. No lifts. Some rooms require three long stairways.

• fernandoy928 (8/5): Good stay with the family - The hotel was really good, nice bedroom, good beds, the breakfast is really good. The staff is friendly, one good point to mention is that they can book the tours and activities for you, which helps. The only constructive feedback I have is that they missed cleaning the toilet, I found the toilet with some of urine splashes over the toilet seat. The overall experience was good and I could return to the hotel again in Namibia.

• Jennygriesel99 (10/5): Gorgeous hotel - we will be back! - A stunning hotel with a boutique feel to it, beautifully appointed rooms, generous & vast breakfast… overall, just a great spot to stay while in Swakopmund! The staff are friendly & helpful, they were willing to help with restaurant bookings & offered a lunch pack when we departed for a long road trip. Everything feels new & clean. We will be back!

Great hotel, very clean and spacious rooms. Staff was helpful and bar area ample. Highly recommended as you are passing through the area.

I would just want to give an advice to all tourists: Don’t leave your wallet in the room! We made that mistake on our last day when going to the breakfast and realized few hours later on the road that we were missing quite a lot of money. The theft was done in a very “discrete” way.. not all the money was taken so that we didn’t t realize immediately the missing money. Only the bank notes with high amounts were taken. So be careful! Otherwise we met nice persons at the reception who helped us to book services

The staff were very helpful as well as friendly. I enjoyed my stay there. Breakfast buffet was great - especially the raw oysters.

The rooms are large, with a comfortable bed, a nice well appointed bathroom, with a terrace for sitting outside. There are creature comforts, like daily cookies , espresso machine and nice amenities in the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the hot water bottle placed in my bed for turndown, which gives you an indication on the level of service at this hotel - the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is simply exceptional- high quality cold meats and cheeses, oysters, a great egg station, high quality sausage/bacon, baked goods, excellent coffee. The location perhaps is not the best, a bit away from the rest of the town and the coast- but, Swakopmund is a small town and everything is 10 minutes away by foot. A really nice stay.
• batravn (10/5): Stylish hotel with great service - This small gem of a hotel is set just 100 meters from the main street in Swakopmund with a enclosed parking lot. The Delight is stylish in every way, from the small reception and bar area (cudos to the always serviceminded bartender) to the rooms, which are individually styled, but all very large and stylish. The breakfast buffet next morning was excellent including fresh oysters. Further: Great service at the reception, who were really helpful in setting up our next day trip to Wallis Bay.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Great parking and location for a quick stop in Swakop. It was a bit chilly here and my room sadly was a tadbit dirty, but I forgive this as the excellent staff rushed to make it ready for me. Everything else was fantastic, and it is a bang on 4* stay.
• charlottep358 (10/5): A great place to relax in a lively town - Spent two nights at the delight while travelling around Namibia and found it to be a charming, well put together hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, great shower and amenities and located in the middle of town walking distance from everything. The food is great and plenty of range for breakfast, with a lovely bar for relaxing in the evening. Definitely a great place to stop and relax if you are road tripping around Namibia.

We loved that the breakfast buffet was quite different to the standard offering in Namibia :) It's a pity the restaurant is not open for dinner. Also nut allergy sufferers - watch out for hidden nuts in breakfast items as nothing is labelled!

• Min (8/5): A nice hotel - The air conditioning/heater was not working satisfactorily - not warm enough for the cold days when we were stayed there. We were asking for a different room unsuccessfully. Otherwise the staff were friendly. The breakfast was superb.

• gillysafrica (10/5): Colourful and pleasant hotel - We stayed here for 3 nights on a trip to Namibia. The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. A hot water bottle was a nice touch on a winters night. Great breakfast with oysters and champagne. Special thanks go to Siobhan at reception who saved the day by helping us when we realised we had left our passports at our previous hotel in Sossusvlei, and organised to have them brought to us.
• TamboRambo (6/5): Too Noisy - What ever you do request that your room does not over look the Casino. Totally spoilt our stay. Noisy drunks out side every night. Cars racing up and down. The room and the staff were great but seriously not worth the sleepless nights. The breakfast had a good selection and had a few nice touches. But would we stay again ??? NO. The rooms need sound proofing

• Daniel (8/5): Ideales Hotel für ein paar Tage in Swakopmund - Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, so dass man sich gut zu Fuss in der Stadt bewegen kann. Auch für Ausflüge mit dem Mietauto in der Region liegt das Hotel günstig. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Die Klimaanlage kann an kühleren Tagen bzw. Abenden auch als Heizung genutzt werden. Zudem liefert das Hotel beim abendlichen Turndown Service eine Bettflasche, was das Zubettgehen behaglich macht. Das Hotel bietet ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Mittag- oder Abendessen werden nicht angeboten. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel, welches wir sofort wieder wählen würden. Einzig Buchungen über Hotels.com scheinen bei der Gondwana-Gruppe gewisse Probleme zu bieten. Wir hatten auf unserer Reise zweimal solche Hotels nicht direkt, sondern via Hotels.com gebucht, und beide Male mussten wir kurzfristig mit dem Hotel telefonieren, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Buchung nicht kurzfristig storniert wird. Auf einer Rundreise mit sehr eingeschränktem Wifi-Empfang eine gewisse Herausforderung.

Tourist information desk was also exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was delivered by a very enthusiastic team and was a real DELIGHT. This hotel is first rate and a credit to the management team.

Small touches in the room, very cute (blown away bag for the hairdryer for example). Room was very spacious! The wifi was very spotty in our room. The only way we had wifi access was by putting our phones on the floor (and using them whilst on the floor).
