Malcolm (8/5): Easy, friendly check in. Comfortable room and bed WITH an electric blanket!. - Have stayed here previously. I think that there are two levels of rooms. This one was older but still very comfortable. Rooms have electric blankets which is a big plus in Ararat. Good bed and not the transport noise that you find at some other motels along the highway.. will be back. No issues

James (8/5): Large comfortable room walking distance to town. - Spacious comfortable clean room with a large bathroom and all facilities for in-room dining. Close to town centre and easy on site parking at your door. Lovely owner at reception. Breakfast included at the room rate would be a bonus.

Marina (3/5): Don’t stay here if you dislike big spiders and can’t shower over a bath - Owner polite gave us 2 cans of spider killer. Spider once we got in the door. Bed not comfortable. Couldn’t have a shower as the shower head was above the bath. Older people can’t get in and out of shower baths without risk of falling

All ground floor rooms and could park right outside the room. Having a microwave and all cutlery in the room was great. Lots of noise from trains and trucks 24/7. Not good for light sleepers. Mattress probably due for a change. Not very supportive.

Fotios (9/5): Pleasent stay - It was clean, bed was very comfortable & best of all the pillows were awesome. Had a fridge, microwave, iron........the basics. I also love the grape vines framing the awnings. My TV had an issue that made it hard to watch. The ironing board could do with some padding as well.

Tobias (8/5): We liked this place very much as we had everything we needed and the location was also great. - The room was clean. The mattress was a bit soft. All in all a very nice place to stay. The branches of the tree made noises when it was windy by rubbing on top of the roof. If the neighbor used water on their end by using the shower or perhaps the sink a loud banging noise seemed to come from the pipes in the walls.

When we left, I didn’t even need to take the keys back to reception, a staff member took it from me as they saw us getting ready to go. Big enough room for two, bathroom is nice and clean. The air conditioner was old and loud, woke us up several times.

Claire (7/5): Basic but close to amenities - The room and bathroom were a good size. The hotel is on the main street but it is fairly quiet. And you aren't far from the town centre. It's very centrally located. The bedhead wasn't attached to bed or wall so I'd tou knocked it it banged. The kettle is nearly past its use by date. Made a cup of tea and it had floaty bits. Pillows were a bit soft but that's a personal preference.
