Guest Reviews
- Frederik (10/5): Best Boutique Hotel in Accra - Very good breakfast and restaurant offerings for lunch and dinner
- Gail (10/5): - A little gem in Accra.
- QuietTraveller009 (10/5): Quiet, compfortable with great food: what's not to like about that? - I stayed there for a one week stay as part of a business trip. This is a small and very quiet hotel. The staff are very nice and the restaurant has a good menu so no need to order in or go outside for dinner. They picked me up at the airport, it is all very well organized and seamless. Bravo for an excellent experience!
- VIMAL (8/5): - Good for short business trip.
Breakfast and restaurant have good choices and good service from staff.
Wanted to use the outdoor pool but water was not chilled and water appeared to need a clean on surface.
Had luxury room on 1st floor, room was spacious.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable at times, mattres seemed to dip at the edges.
- Jay (8/5): - Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my group was comfortable and satisfied. Cannot recommend this hotel enough
- Steven (4/5): - While the room was fine, staff quite friendly and the food actually very good, I was advised at check-in that the payment I made one month earlier online was not on file and a pre-authorization was needed. The next morning I presented my receipt from Expedia, which the hotel photocopied and stated they would fix. They instead charged my card using the pre-authorization and, as of a day after checkout (four day stay 1) I have had no communication or explanation of how this will be rectified. Lots of promises verbally, but still no fix. So in effect, I was forced to pay for the room twice and as yet no one has reversed their errant charge - despite the hotel having a copy of my payment on hand. Very frustrating and, I believe, an unprofessional way to treat a client who showed good faith in allowing them some time to fix their mistake. I am hoping this will still be addressed, but am worried I’ll now instead have to battle with Expedia to get one of my payments refunded. I would welcome any form of reply or rebutted from the hotel which could explain all this, as I await a written reply to my multiple verbal (on site) and emailed requests for an answer.
- 538ramuk (8/5): Great Serviced Apartment that was renovated for a wheelchair user! - I stayed at Fiesta Residences Serviced Apartments for almost three months and the apartment was great and service was excellent. As a manual wheelchair user, I was tremendously impressed with the speed and quality of the renovations made on a ground floor apartment to fit my needs and I think the General Manager, Johan for his leadership in making that happen!
- Mina2706 (10/5): Great experience & very friendly staff - I visited during October 2024 while on a business trip. As the hotel rooms were fully booked we were given the apartments. I can’t express in words how amazing those apartments were. As such the everything was super clean, the location is also perfect and the staff very friendly. The pool area, restaurant and bar is also great. I will definitely visit again when visiting Accra!
- nwogbor (10/5): Beautiful day (amazing day) - Great Service by James, very beautiful service, the drinks and food is fire, loved the ambience, i had an amazing time with my friend , it was a thrill time,i saw people at the pool and they were having a good time.............
I loved it here
I was out here with my friend , Great guy and we had funn
- Stay36727488839 (10/5): Satisfactory - Great Services from Agnes and Reneta and great varieties of food.
I really love breakfast because it entails everything healthy and beyond.

- T4906HRalana (10/5): Great Service - The service was excellent, from the customer service to the food. I will recommend The Residence to anyone wanting exceptional food and client service in Ghana.
The servers were cordial, polite and respectful. This is the best I have experienced in Accra.
- Joyce (8/5): - Big thanks to Gladys and the reservation/front office team despite the small hiccup on arrival you made us welcomed and our stay enjoyable. The staff/team are all a treasure to the Management.
As hospitality retired owners and intense travellers , you made our stay welcoming. The f&b team also fabulous , the food and presentation faultless .
Our only nip was the bed and we recommend updated the rooms to compliment the hotel. We also had one of the best massages in the spa.
Well done all this is my 3rd visit ,it would have been 4th but you couldn't accommodate a party of 22 then.
Hopefully see you next year.
- Dotts0908 (10/5): Great location, excellent service - Great location, great place with excellent service. Their array of choices for breakfast is excellent... Their gym is well-equipped and the locale is also great for a run. I really enjoyed the Residences. Shout out to the amazing Phelicia at the reception!
- ptahk2024 (10/5): Amazing Hotel - This place should not get less than 5 stars. Take it from someone who has spent some nights in some high end hotels. Fiesta’s service is legit and they go the extra mile. Clean and maintained to standard. When I come to Accra this is the only place I want to stay!
- Adrian (2/5): - Liked: The hotel's convenient location made transportation easily accessible, enhancing overall convenience during the stay.
Disliked: The rooms were notably dated with water-stained carpets, requiring two room changes within a short stay. Security measures for guest safety were lacking, as my room key was mistakenly given to another guest, highlighting inadequate identification protocols. A drunk guest entered our room while we were sleeping at 5:43 am, leading to a disruptive and uncomfortable experience. The response from the night desk staff, attributing the disturbance to a wrong room number, further exacerbated the situation. Checked out that morning due to the overall negative impact on the stay.
- Jcraig644 (10/5): A restaurant definitely worth a visit - Had dinner in the hotel restaurant this Saturday, the new menu was just amazing. I had the platter of prawns that not only tasted perfect but were so beautifully presented. Our party also had the peri peri chicken which was tender and delicious, also we had the pasta arrabbiata. The person eating the pasta had food allergies and the dish was adapted beautifully. The staff were so attentive and looked after us all so incredibly well. Thank you all
- Sherkera (4/5): - Upon arrival our room was mildew from what appeared carpet damp. The backboard to the bed was all chipped up. We left and stayed at another hotel for the night bc no other rooms were available. The restates f is nice and staff very nice, the pool was okay but most important part is the room. This place needs an upgrade. The carpet needs changing.
Management could be nicer and they only give one key. Overall would not recommend if ever stay here again.
- CV62 (10/5): Highly recommended! - A lovely hotel with friendly staff, amenities like laundry, an in-room safe, tea kettle, and mini fridge, and comfy clean rooms.
I dined in the restaurant two nights in a row. The red-red was yummy (local dish of rice, plantains and beans). The servers are really kind and the ambiance is refined yet approachable.
Highly recommend!
- 427redat (10/5): Recommended option when in Accra - smooth and nice experience - I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying in Fiesta Residence in Accra: the service from every single employee was top level, all the time. Friendly, welcoming and very professional.
They dealt with many requests and demands, with smile and efficiency.
The breakfast buffet was also a very positive experience!
Kudos to the teams and their management!
- Neil_Franklin_SA (8/5): Wish we could have stayed for longer. - Sadly this really nice hotel was only used as a transit on a very busy schedule but what we experienced was great. Efficient and friendly front desk, atmosphere was very warm and place was spotless. Outside pool and gym area is great. Room was plentiful and comfy.
- Italian_kilt (6/5): Clean hotel, nice breakfast - Room was ok, clean and Wi-Fi was strong.
Staff all friendly and check in was smooth. Efficient organisation for complimentary airport shuttle service, was easy to find the driver on arrival at Accra airport.
Breakfast was good compared to others we had across the country. Fruits, cereal, yoghurt, eggs to order.
Overall the hotel was acceptable but don’t expect luxury or modem rooms vs similarly priced hotels in other developing countries. Ghana hotels are definitely expensive for value and quality you get and we saw this across the country.
- ORAL (10/5): - Great food. First rate staff
- rellabella66 (2/5): Worst hotel ever in Sunny Beach - We arrived on time and were informed that if we were to hire a car which we had already decided to do the parking charge would be 15 lev per day at the hotel. However the car hire company informed us that all parking in our street was free!!!!!!! The hotel parking lot was not as near to our room as the roadside parking spot!
The pool bar was closed which was not stated in our booking and the bar was therefore shut too! Just so happens that the hotel owner also has a shop on site so no shock there then.
The room had a shower which leaked so badly that the floor flooded each time it was used, causing the floor to be extremely wet and dangerous.
The WiFi did not work in our hotel room and that was not stipulated in our booking either x the staff were ignorant and our room was unclean and still had dishes from the previous guests with mouldy bread in the cupboards x we returned the spare pillows in the wardrobe as they were stained and our bed hadn’t been changed before our arrival either.
We didn’t expect much due to the low cost of the hotel, but it isn’t much to ask for clean bedding and a shower that didn’t leak leading to a flooded bathroom
Apparently there is a sign to put on the outside of your door if you wish your room to be cleaned, however this wasn’t in our room and when I asked about the free car parking I got a mouthful of abuse from the staff who incidentally didn’t speak English once to us until they decided to insult me.
Never again!!!!!! Same guy on reception from dusk to dawn and his friends and their cars constantly visited the hotel and used the parking spaces and maybe if he didn’t work so many hours he would have a smile and a polite word to say each day!
Very aggressive owner and I was worried about staying the full term in case of any further confrontation from the staff so we booked another hotel for the remainder of our stay.
We have travelled the world and this was a total disgrace and the staff are unfriendly, the rooms are awful and the service was non existent.
- Miss (10/5): Fiesta July 2022 - Great stay! The staff are amazing!
- Jcraig644 (10/5): Always an Excellent Experience - Perfect hotel, staff amazing, Restaurant and Food first class (Especially the seafood platter) Spa perfection.
Special mention to the girls in the Spa, Comfort and Lorricia, best treatments ever. Also Mershak, for looking after us so well during the day and ensuring we had everything we needed
- Pigchopolopolous (8/5): Quiet boutique hotel great for business travellers - Great little boutique hotel with spacious room and bathroom. Nice but small gym with newer equipment. My room had carpet and bathtub. Wonder if they have room with shower and floorboards as that’s my preferred. Quiet place perfect for business travellers
- Phillip (8/5): Short on service, long on smile - From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most charming and pleasant staff. Their friendliness tended to make you forget or overlook some of their weaknesses. Regrettably whilst high on promise, service delivery was low on achievement. Orders placed in the restaurant often too an age and needed prompting. On one occasion our breakfast eggs stood on a counter top for minutes before being brought to our table. The same for bar staff who either failed to notice us or simply took an age to deliver.
However, the hotel is ideally situated, close to the airport and to downtown. Transportation is quick and efficient.
Our room was neat and tidy but just needed a little attention to a damaged wooden panel. Otherwise the towels and linen were totally acceptable and of good quality.
We will definitely use the hotel on any future trip but would urge management to jack up service delivery. Staff pleasantries will not mitigate poor service.
- JohanD2477 (10/5): Scrumptious meal at "The Grillroom" - Fantastic quality. Very well prepared
I can't fault anything.
Chef Edward also made a turn at the table to make some recommendations and answer questions we had.
Our waiter, Daniel, was great and definitely up to the task.
Well done team Fiesta!!! Thanks for making my 24 year wedding anniversary a memorable one
- trav0123 (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Accra - Fiesta Residences is the perfect place to stay in Accra for business or leisure. The rooms are nice, pool and restaurant are great, and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is helpful, positive, and goes above and beyond. We will definitely be back!
- Sylvana Nai (10/5): - It
- KimF721 (10/5): EXCELLENT SERVICE + GREAT LOCATION - This was our first time visiting Ghana and this hotel was A++. I researched alot of hotels for this trip and price, location and square foot of the room. THIS PLACE is WONDERFUL!
There were 8 of us that came down for The Return and everyone was so welcoming.
Service
From the minute we were picked up from the Airport we received nothing but exceptional service. Everyone was kind and always helpful. Front desk, cleaning service, security...all made us feel welcome and safe.
The kitchen was always available for our late night cravings. I possibly ordered 7 servings of wings and fries. Breakfast was included but due to our extreme jet lag we never made it to breakfast but room service was wonderful.
The rooms
One room is way bigger than the next (we had a 2 bedroom suite). I wish the rooms were the same size but all in all, we had A/C, TV, Kitchen, laundry, etc.
When the world opens up...we are coming BACK!
If Felix is still there.. tell him we appreciated his service.
- DafeLondon (10/5): First rate business hotel - The best hotel in Ghana, where I’ve stayed numerous times, is the Kempinski. The second best hotel in Accra, for business travelers, is the Fiesta.
First, service. The staff at Fiesta are exceptionally attentive, courteous, and given the boutique nature of the hotel, provide a very personalized service. I am a repeat customer, having been an early patron, when the property first opened. With each stay the service only improves. Overall, world class service.
Second, food. The restaurant at the restaurant is one of the best in town. Though the menu is somewhat static, the quality of ingredients, flavors, and presentation are excellent. On weekend evenings the restaurant is fully booked, with local residents, which is always a reassuring vote of confidence.
Lastly, facilities, including the rooms, are superior, though not necessarily luxurious; for a business traveler more than adequate. And the location is very central.
Overall, an excellent property, and a significant value at the price point. If you are traveling for business, value privacy and quiet, and importantly, personalized service, this is arguably amongst the best options in Accra.
- Derek (10/5): - Staff is very friendly. Food was good at the Grilleoom. Quiet neighbourhood.
- Peter (10/5): Nice Hotel - When arrived they didn’t had my reservation in the system. however when shoved them confirmation of reservation from Hotels they sorted this out in minute and they upgraded my room FOC. Thus they are willing to sort problems and definitely will chose this hotel again
- anthony (10/5): - The food, the service, and the staff are all superb!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great staff. Very helpful. Apartment was excellent.
- Mr&Mrs (10/5): - My husband and I were Privileged to have a most Excellent experience at this Prestigious Accommodation. The Facilities and Staff are of an Outstanding Quality Pleasant, Polite, Professional and Quintessentially Superb in the Provision of Customer Service. The Cleanliness and Hygiene is of the highest Standard as the Housekeeping Staff Team Provide Consistent Daily Service which presents a Truly Well Maintained Environment Quality. While the Administration and 24 hour Room Service Team again, Cordially Endeavour tender to ones Every request. Our Accommodation was Spacious and Exceeded the visual presentation and the the basic provisions such as washing detergents inclusive of laundry facilities and Provision aling with a Dry Cleaning Service were also an Additional, Excellent Service Provided. This Establishment Provides an Extra Quality and Outstanding Superb Experience and is Excellent Value for money. The Fiesta Residences Boutique is a Great Incentive to return to Ghana .HIGHLY RECOMMEND is this Establishment and the Service and Standards they Provide. ACKNOWLEDGED AND NOTABLY APPRECIATED.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Empfehlenswert - Schönes Hotel mit guter Küche und freundlichem personal. Beim check-out muss man jedoch etwas zeit und Geduld mitbringen.
- Jonas (10/5): Highly recommended! - This was my fourth stay at Fiesta.Do yourself a favour and choose this place for your stay in Accra.
Fabulous staff!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was not checked in but rather sent to another hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I have stayed or visited many Hotels in Ghana, however this the first time I have experienced well trained staff that are truly professional in their conduct. I stayed at Fiesta Residences for my Wedding Anniversary, and we really enjoyed our stay. We are getting ready to check out shortly. Top marks and would definitely recommend and stay there again.
- susanne (10/5): The right choice - Lovely, safe and comfortable hotel with good little bar, excellent restaurant and very friendly staff. We booked a city tour with the shuttle driver and it was excellent as well. Close to airport and city center.
- Derek (8/5): - Staff are great. Always welcoming and accommodating
- Jonas (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous! - I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is amazing! Very clean property! I highly recommend other travelers to stay here. I'll be back
Jonas
Sweden
- Edmond O (10/5): Just do it. - Amazing! Best staff ever. Everything and everyone
..nice.
- fiona (10/5): Perfect after a long working week - The appartments here are particularly good and well equipped. Defiantly would go again
- Medge (10/5): Hidden treasure in Accra - We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, with a kitchen 2 1/2 baths. It was super clean and well-equipped. Would be great for a family. Service staff and hospitality were excellent. Nice pool and spa. Boutique like and quiet Easy distance from local restaurants and airport. Would recommend.
- Randy (8/5): Nice and quite - Great hotel to stay in while traveling Accra. The staff is exceptional. I was treated like royalty. my only concerns were the room internet service and the fitness s\center. The Wi-Fi in the room I stayed in was very weak. How ever in the lobby, pool area and Grill Room the Wi-Fi was excellent. If you want to workout before starting your day, the fitness cent only has an Universal weight machine and a couple of pounds of dumbbells. With that in mind, I give this Hotel an exceptional rating. I would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hotel stay - Great service and yummy breakfast. Lovely pool view with relaxing music at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best Accra Hotel! - Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Superb service from all. Food great. Looking forward to staying Dec 2018!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was great until the day I was checking out. Not only did I come back to my room door open (greatfully nothing was taken) no one followed up with me about it. Also, when I was driving to get the hotels “car service” no one got back to me after almost an hour until I called back asking for it again. The woman then proceeded to tell me that a car wasn’t available. So why didn’t you call and tell me that? Then she supposedly tried to find a taxi for me. But after another hour I called back and she said because of the holiday she couldn’t find one. So I requested an Uber for myself and left on my own. The hotel was nice and all but the last night/ check out Day was ridiculous.
- RICHARD (10/5): Amazing staff - Awesome facility, awesome staff and an amazing customer service staff were just willing to help wonderful people will come back anytime we are in the City.
- Kwasi (10/5): Fiesta - Excellent quiet location in Accra. Very friendly staff and great food representing a synergistic blend of local and international dishes. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.Well worth the stay despite a minor challenge getting checked in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - modern hotel, good facilities, very comfortable, nice pool
- Business Travel (6/5): Surface nice but not wonderful experience - The hotel looks great on the surface. The facilities are nice and the pool area and restaurant well done. The room is nice and big and the bed/bathroom good quality...
But... My room smelled like stall cigarette smoke. And the staff were extremely slow at getting things like ironing boards etc. Not very friendly and helpful considering the price (some were obviously super sweet but the overall standard/attention to clients was poor). It's not a holiday inn and you'd expect a higher level of personal service from a boutique hotel of this price. I wasn't a fan.
Food is ok but the breakfast buffet is really weak. It's not very big and they have weird stuff that doesn't really belong in a breakfast buffet such as curry soup.
- gail (8/5): Sierragail loves it! - I have stayed here 4 times before and will continue staying at this property. Very easy. No hassles.
- Kristofer (10/5): Excellent. - A lovely hotel with great amenities. I highly recommend for anyone traveling through Accra.
- Ted (10/5): Great place in Accra - New and modern in a very quiet neighborhood. Restaurant and bar are excellent as are the staff throughout the boutque hotel. Highly recommends.
- Hudson (8/5): A good hotel, new and very well staffed - Recommended hotel
- Justin (8/5): Brilliant - Fiesta Residences and Hotel is a great place to stay and relax.
No problems!!!
- Greg Stevens (10/5): Cleanest hotel I've stayed in so far in Accra - Food is ace, staff are equally as good and location is right on the button, I will stay here again without any doubt
- Waleed (10/5): - Whether it was amazing.
- Mark (10/5): Awesome Boutique Hotel!!! - My wife and I have stayed at Fiesta Residences 4x in past 15 months when we have visited Accra. We love everything about this hotel. Clean, quiet, awesome friendly staff! Great food too!
- James (10/5): Room: better lighting in bathroom (#201) is needed - Outstanding security. Restaurant service and food excellent. Very clean hotel. Patrick was the best bartender and Agnes provided excellent waitress service in restaurant. Front desk and staff addressed you by name. All staff was good. Always gave personal attention to guest. Car services provided excellent drivers and prompt service and prices were very reasonable. Pool was very nice with excellent service.
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely stay! - I had an amazing stay at Fiesta Residences over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel is brand new and beautifully appointed. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, it was a great respite from the bustling streets of Accra. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Ernest went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The pool is pristine and the restaurant is quite tasty. There was no interruption in power from Dumsor at all. Very convenient to the airport (just be sure you emphasize Fiesta Residences, because there's also a Fiesta Royale). I can't wait to visit again!
- James (8/5): Outstanding boutique hotel - I was in Accra on business for one week. The hotel is small (20 rooms) with a great restaurant. Service was outstanding, and the staff was always warm and friendly. This hotel is a great choice for either a short visit or extended stays. This has now become my hotel of choice for future Accra business trips.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money just poor internet - Great hotel but has a major internet issue in the rooms. Other than this the service is good. Having stayed in other hotels in Accra I'd easily say it is one of the few decent options. Strongly recommend it.
- margaret (8/5): Good enough to stay - Overall it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were a bit dark(we rented 3 bedrooms). The furniture was too dark which made the room darker. There's no bathtub but shower was running well The bed was comfortable enough. My colleagues enjoyed swimming in the pool and exercised enough in the little gym. The breakfast was not tasty enough but gave us plenty food we wanted. One of my men colleagues who eats a lot could eat enough^^. Hotel staffs were kindly and helping. The neighbour was quiet and rich area. I wouldn't mind going back there again on my next visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Stay - Hotel was wonderful-- new and clean and the service was phenomenal from the waiters to the porters to the front desk. Food at the restaurant is good too.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great private hotel to execute great intimate busi - Staff are all focused on help you have a great stay and serve you with excellence
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quite atmosphere, easy access to the city, helpful hotel associates, swimming pool could stay open a little longer, had a nice stay. Will spend time more time there next time.
- Liubov L. (8/5): - It is a nice, new and clean place. Only one problem I got - no adapters for Ghanaian sockets , I asked for that on reception desk, and unfortunately they couldn't provide it. Anyway the hotel is nice, I will come back there.
