Joseph (7/5): Enjoyed - No breakfast...location was excellent.....room was clean....shower strong....excellent view of the Big Lake.....having the chairs outside the room offered a excellent place to view the beauty of the area.....with a glass of evening wine and a coffee in the morning 🌄 I had booked 4 rooms....and had no major complaints.....except several of my travel companions said their room was too warm??Also they were looking for to the Continental Breakfast
Kurt (8/5): Excellent place to visit Baddeck and Cabot Trail, Sydney, Louisbourg - Nice and quiet. Right in the centre. One of the few places open in low season. Very good value. The heating is a Bit loud.

Denise (8/5): Comfortable and cozy - Comfortable bed. Good value. Scent free bedding was appreciated. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Located not far from the Co Op grocery store, and Needs convenience store. Tom’s pizza is close by and highly recommended. Small tv. Plumbing had air in the pipes and was quite noisy at times. The rooms were small, not much room to move around. But the comfortable beds and reasonable price made up for all the negative aspects. I do recommend this motel.

Good central location with restaurants at walking distance. The room had a smell that didn't really go away, even after opening the door and window. Bathroom fixtures were old.

We liked how diligent the front of house manager was in checking on the property . He was very visible and friendly. The rooms were fine. The bathroom tub plug was not great. The TV could use with an upgrade as it was quite small.

Chairs available outside to sit on. Dining room very comfy and main house pretty with a verandah. RoomsBADLY in need of an update! Very old and dated. Door pops open in bathroom. A lot of money for what you get. Neighbour properties much nicer and same money. I would have lowered the price per night or offered a rate for a long stay will a free night. Microwave in room would have been nice. Not much variety of breakfast. Add hash browns, add items such as yogurt and fresh fruit, granola. Toasters in dining room very very slow.

When had quite a lot of wasps and bugs around windows as well. View off deck was lovely. Breakfast was nothing special. Very very basic buffet. Not quite what expected for an Inn. We unfortunately wouldn’t book again here.

I would offer for consideration fresh fruits and baked good be added. The room was okay but showing its age. Queen beds would have been better than full/double.
