- Ivy (8/5): - The hotel was quiet, clean, and well-maintained, with convenient parking. Nearby attractions and restaurants were all within walking distance, which was great. However, the sofa bed was way too soft—even as a fairly lightweight teenager easily sank deep into it, and the headrest was sagging. Another downside was the overly strict kitchen rules, which were inconvenient for longer stays. Not being allowed to clean and cook own freshly caught seafood was particularly disappointing.

- Christine (10/5): Such a wonderful cabin. - We spent 3 nights in Cabin 6, and were so pleased. It was very clean, and comfortable. The bathtub is awesome, and the kitchen well stocked with everthing you need to cook.( not spices etc, but pots pans etc). We will be back for sure!!
- Margaret (8/5): - It was located near the Lighthouse Loop Trail which is beautiful.The faucet in the kitchen needs to be fixed. The faucet in the upstairs bathroom should be changed as it does not extend out enough and the sink lip fills up with water no matter how hard you try not to flood the lip. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again.

- Carol (6/5): - Great place and very clean. Only a couple of down falls: only sofa was comfortable. Other chairs in living area were very uncomfortable. Had to completely close blinds for privacy since buildings were so close and people could easily see in. Thus, not able to sit and enjoy any outside views. Rather disappointed there were not Oceanside views as had been perceived in the ad- Forest side vs. Ocean side. Finally, bed was rock hard, not firm but rock hard and I came home with a sore back.

- Sheila (2/5): Not great - I didn’t really enjoy my stay there. It was kind of like staying at your in-laws house. I didn’t wanna mess anything first hotel room that I’ve ever stayed in. That asked you to take your garbage out and clean up before you left. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

- James (10/5): Good place to stay in Ukee - Cabins West feels like a new property. It was very clean and one of the quietest places, at night, we've ever stayed. The quiet during the day was interrupted by the construction across the street. We were there in Sept 2024 and I anticipate the external construction to be completed shortly. While the amenities were all fine the little touches were a little short. The only spices available were salt and pepper, there was no plastic wrap, zip lock bags or aluminum foil. While these are minor things when you show up at a fairly expensive property like this the small touches make the stay easy.

This was not a super big deal but good to be aware of before

- Richard (8/5): - This was a last-minute getaway, so grateful for the availability. This is essentially one of two suites in a cabin-like duplex—four on the property. Communication was excellent in helping us navigate Hwy closures. Our stay was extended one night due to an all-day closure, and we stayed in a lower suite. Great with considerate neighbours, a nightmare with new guests thumping about from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am. The sound reverberated in our suite. So loud that my partner's Apple watch, sitting on a side table, would light up with each new thud. Access to Wild Pacific Trail and other hikes - outstanding! The bike trail linking Ucluelet to Tofino is fantastic, though it is best to bypass downtown Ucluelet through the residential area until clear of it.

Folks should know there are lots of stairs (40 from car to top bedroom) and I liked that, but could be hard for others. Beds were a bit hard and every one in our little family complained about pillows. None the less, we all enjoyed being here. Sitting on balcony listening to eagles chirp was the best!

Such beautiful bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, balcony, and a bbq. One bathroom even had a jacuzzi. This is the best priced accommodation in the Long Beach Area.
