Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (6/5): - The location!! The view was stunning and being able to hear the waves was amazing. The size of the cabin was great! The cabin was not very cozy, the couch space in the living room was very uncomfortable and the bed was to firm and not comfortable.
It was very cold and there were no rugs on the floor in the bedroom and not enough warm bedding.
- Brenton (8/5): Perfect for overnight stay.. - Great view from the balcony, modern facilities Parking at the end cabins was hard to turn around
- lara (10/5): - The vibes
- Cristina (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful! The house is quite big and has everything you need! Views are next level, you can see the waves breaking into the rock from the bed. Would have been great to have the heaters on for arrival, it was cold when we got in! A bit more of deco in the walls will make it more cozy and a light in the deck I think is a must!
- Celia (8/5): - Younique stays staff were very helpful in moving us when our bathroom roof leaked through the light fitting. The cabins are very cute and provide fabulous views The cabins are of an age that mean they could do with a refresh to bring them up to date
- Jennifer (7/5): -

- John (8/5): Worth a one night stopover - The views were spectacular The kitchen stools were uncomfortable!

Really special hearing the waves in the morning and watching the sunrise, thanks for our stay!

- RONG (9/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Debbie (4/5): Disappointed will not recommend - Only the view Not cleaned very well crumbs on the couch no plug for the kitchen sink to wash up had to use a salad bowl.
One missing lampshade in bedroom and the other one was perished and should be replaced. Floors and skirting boards need a wash. Shower fixtures are all loose.
- Abdul (10/5): Excellent place to stay to witness the sunrise on Freycinet national park - Location Isolated

- Inmaculada (10/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Fabulous location great couples getaway - Location was stunning, well appointed and ease of entry. Communication was good. Great shower & toiletries. Paintwork a little tired, would have loved to know how to access beach. Lounge seats very low & hard to get out of.
- Peter (7/5): -
- Sari (6/5): your paying for the views, bring food there is no where close to eat, needs a refresh - views were great unit not clean needs updating
- Annamieke (8/5): Restful 💗and body reset - The quiet an the views were incredible Only thing I can complain about was how hard the mattress was was like sleep on a board apart from that everything was perfect !!!
- Alvin (9/5): Excellent - Location was terrific right on the top of cliff sound of the sea to put you to sleep Not much worth mentioning
- Jeffrey (8/5): Great base to visit East Coast attractions from. - Fabulous view and location. Surf noise all night, 😊 Being of advanced years, the stairs were the only irritant, parking.
- Michaelle McDonald (9/5): - The property was beautiful, each room was very private and no one could see anyone. The walk down to the beach on the property was great and we loved sitting on the deck looking over the beach and water. Great layout, just wish we had had our own deck (a couple of the units had them and we were a little bit envious, book for 3 people and pay the extra if you want one). The unit was very clean and well supplied. The kitchen is really in need of a makeover (not replacement). eg Put the microwave up on a shelf, put up some shelves for crockery etc. The shower head (unit 3) needs replacing.
- Sarah (9/5): - Remoteness
- Alexandru (8/5): -
- Pradeep (8/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Great place to stay, would recommend but plan your meals - Location was amazing Lack of cooking facilities
- Chun Kit (8/5):
- Anita (9/5): Magnificant views with a row of secluded cabins amoung the bush. - View 10/10. Walks around property lovely. Quiet, apart from the great sound of the ocean! Ease of entry instructions from host. The clutter visible upon entry to driveway. Heating not adequate for us.
- Sally (7/5): A good stay - Location & view
- Ryan (7/5): Breathtaking views - Stunning views and could hear the waves breaking on the beach. Decent sized cabin and very quiet. Comfy couch and had all amenities. Comfortable bed. It is very secluded and away from town so make sure you bring all the food you need. It was a little run down inside, the windows had quite a bit of bird poo on the outside and many hand prints and forehead prints on the inside. Overall though it was a lovely stay and the views are to die for
- Jeff (9/5): Incredible views - The view from the cabins is spectacular and you can just sit and listen to the waves crashing below. It isn’t too far from Wineglass Bay and there are wineries to visit in the area too. This would be a nice place to spend 2 or 3 days. The cabin itself has everything you need and was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
- Nicolette (1/5): -
- Sue (6/5): - The view from the lounge room and bedroom were amazing and that is obviously what you pay for.
The chalet was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. You need to bring what ever food and drink you will be consuming as there are no shops nearby.
We slept with the bedroom blinds open so we could admire the view, (it is a very private location), and listen to the waves. No way to walk down to the beach that we could see.
If you miss the turn off to the Hampton’s you need to drive for awhile before you can do a u-turn.
- Brad (9/5): Wonderful stay. Exceptional view. - View and location Ability to use hot plate and toaster at same time. No multi plug extension cord
- David (9/5): A beautiful overnight stay paired with some magnificent Tasmanian seafood and a bottle of wine - Location location location and the balcony Nothing but i couldnt work out the the TV😬
- Neil (6/5): Short over night stay. - Ocean views, small compact & easy parking. Bed was firm but comfortable. No internet, the tv was complicated to work.
Cabin situated 10 minutes south of Swansea, in order to buy food or visit restaurant.
- Leanne (6/5): - Beautiful spot. Well priced. Needed quite a bit of maintenance. Windows need rollers so they can be freely opened. Shower rose needs changing. But overall it was ok
- Frances (10/5): Stunning location. - What a view to wake up to. Beautiful little cottage sitting g high above the cliffs. It had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Maybe a space to hang clothes.
- MrPhilhanley (9/5): Clean, comfortable self-contained, stand-alone unit. - Quiet location and lovely ocean outlook. Spacious and comfortable. Instructions for using the TV were confusing and we were unable to access it.
- Dianne (10/5): -
- Samuel (10/5): The view was spectacular and would stay at it again - I loved the location and the view It was a little dirty
- Bianca (7/5): Beautiful view of the ocean - The view Lack kitchen facilities
- Emily (7/5): - Beautiful location
- Meadhbh (10/5): -
- Carola (8/5): - The view was spectacular. The fridge was very small, and nothing could be put in the door storage area as there was a shelf but no guard to stop things from falling when you opened the door.
- Sheree (9/5): Amazing and peaceful with beautiful scenery - The view was amazing and the room was so cozy with everything we needed. The shower head was not great.
- Michelle (5/5): Beautiful Views needs work. - The view! Apologies. The bed was like a brick. It was too hard. The electric behind the microwave is a miss! It should have 4 power points in lieu of 2! We had to plug and unplug multiple times in order to have breakfast. Its too hard to unplug and get behind micro. The gyprock in bathroom needs attention. .
- Zhiyan (10/5): -
- Antoinette (8/5): -

- Hilary (10/5): Great cottage with an amazing o - This place is amazing. It is a ‘tiny house’ that is really well set up with everything you need. It is ideal for a couple. The location is awesome. We watched the sun rise from bed and went to sleep with the sound of the ocean. Loved it.
The staff were amazing. Though we had no personal contact, the communication and support we got remotely at every stage made our stay effortless and smooth. That we were only there one night.
- Gary (8/5): A highlight of our trip so far. - Fabulous views, comfortable accommodation. N/A
- Dario (10/5): - Beautiful view of the ocean and very well equipped house
- Schillaci (10/5): - Ocean views, easy check-in process.
- Kay (10/5): - The view was amazing. It felt safe. We left the window open and listened to the waves lapping at the shore. Clean and functional. Nothing
- Nola (9/5): In general we loved our stay here and would be prepared to book again, but be more prepared. - We loved the view from the loungeroom and bedroom, the cabin was filled with everything required for a great stay. Bathroom was a little outdated and required some maintenance.
Not prepared to travel into Swansea for a meal after arriving at our cabin, not realising how far it was out of town.
- Marigot (10/5): -
- Emese (5/5): - View It was filthy. Urine around toilet and used toilet paper in toilet. Table was sticky and bag of rubbish beside bin in kitchen.
- Marcus (10/5): -
- CALVERT (9/5): - Loved the view, the moon rising at night with reflections on the water was magical. Cabin was very comfortable. Couch was a bit saggy to sit on, shower head needs fixing or replacing, it wouldn't stay up and leaked.
- Pamela (6/5): Sorry, can’t really recommend 🙁 - Quiet location. Loved hearing the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below us. Lovely views across to Coles Bay/Freycinet Shower head needs replacing. Shower door is taped. TV is nearly impossible to operate. Too many millipedes inside, perhaps the unit needs external spraying. Beware of snakes!
The steps in the middle of the car park are too high and awkward to negotiate, particularly if you are carrying luggage or groceries. Would recommend using the path, which isn’t overly obvious
- Cristina (10/5): - Loved our stay at Hamptons on the Bay. Everything we needed, the views were amazing.
- Pallavi (10/5): Best view with sunrise - The view is beautiful Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): - Amazing views
- Rodney (6/5): - Amazing view and small but spacious enough.
- Sarah (9/5): Great location, amazing views, very cozy little cabin! - The views were amazing and felt very comfortable and at home in the cabin. Comfy bed! Had an amazing sunrise that I watched from our bedroom window. I would stay here again. There was a stain on pillow on the couch
- Tabitha (9/5): Cute and cosy with an amazing view - Stunning location with an amazing view, cute and cosy cottage Nothing
- Robyn (9/5): - Our cabin was very comfortable, all we needed fir a short stay. Amazing water views from both lounge area and bedroom. It was about a 15 minute drive into Strahan where we had a lovely meal. I can't really think of anything
- Natalja (8/5): -
- Jenny (10/5): -
- nirvine (8/5): - The view Shower seal, and lack of dining chairs with backs.
- Barry (5/5): Lovely view but that’s about it - View from cabin
Bed comfortable Nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the view/sun
Although a barbecue was mentioned in the booklet provided there wasn’t one
The 2 seats were very low and were uncomfortable and hard to get up. Need new chairs.
No other chair only 2 very low stools for the table.
Kitchen was not well organised with the microwave taking up so much space in front of the electric outlets. Had to use other appliances in the bathroom 😳
Need another outlet or microwave mounted on wall
Bottled water was recommended but although staying for 4 nights only given water on first day
Considering the lack of facilities felt it was overpriced
- rudi (8/5): 部屋からの景色が最高。 - 部屋からの景色がとても良かったです。庭に出て海岸沿いまで歩くと、デッキがあり朝日夕日を眺めるのに最高です。
- Sylvia (8/5): Very enjoyable - Loved the view and quiet position
- Sunho (10/5): Everything was perfect - Everything was perfect. I could sit on the sofa and watch the sunrise, and on dark nights, I could gaze out the window at the countless stars. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The sound of the waves, like a gentle song, was like a soothing lullaby, bringing deep sleep.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Helen (9/5): Loved it and will come back. - The ambience, amazing view, at the end of a hectic Tassie drive holiday, to park up and relax in the peace and quiet was magical. As was the birdlife. Blissful! Being able to check in early was greatly appreciated! Thank you. Bathroom door doesn't shut properly.
- William (8/5): Spell binding panorama views - Panorama views from apartment were breathtaking.
Comfortable beds and linen
Very responsive staff Toaster wasn’t working.
Could do with a lick of paint!
- Virginia (7/5): - The view over the ocean and hearing the sound of the waves hitting the shore No wifi. The water pressure in shower was poor.
- Sepali (10/5): - It's a very elegant cabin. Everything was as shown in photos. Super location and very clean. Staff communication was excellent. Nothing.
- Warrick (8/5): -
- Annette (9/5): Exceptional Accommodation, everything was fabulous & the view was amazing. - EVERYTHING NOTHING
- Sivaramakrishnan (6/5): Can stay if view is all you want. Facilities could have been better. - The view is good. The microwave was not working.
- Anna (8/5): Fantastic view, clean accommodation. - View was fantastic, bed was comfortable and place was clean. Great for our stop before we headed to Port Arthur. I guess the seating was a little uncomfortable, maybe being able to stretch your legs out with an ottoman or two or perhaps a bean bag or an extra small couch. It’s first world issues but it would just add to the comfort. Lastly toaster was ikky.
