- Michael (10/5): Relaxing, beautiful location - Beautiful location, host was amazing and baked delicious fresh bread for us everyday! Absolutely cannot fault this place.
- Megan (9/5): It's a beautiful natural place, up in the trees. - Its a beautiful, quiet, natural place where you are up in the trees, and you have a rock pool to swim in. I would like to have room darkening curtains and a bigger TV screen.
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Beverly (10/5): Highly recommend! - Our stay here was absolutely magical. We came as a small group of high school friends looking to reconnect and this was the perfect setting. Being in the heart of the forest with no wifi or reception was exactly what we needed, it allowed us to truly unplug and focus on each other!!
The highlight of every morning was Jane delivering freshly baked bread, which was still warm and incredibly delicious! We spent our days painting, playing board games, and taking short trips into the nearby town. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. We left with so many wonderful memories and couldn't recommend this peaceful retreat enough!
- Apostolis (10/5): Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay - It’s conveniently close to Maleny & Mary Cairncross reserve, beautiful rainforest and running creek walk on the property.
The cabin is beautiful and immaculately clean with stunning views of the forest.
The host is lovely and even brings you freshly baked bread every morning!! NA
- Bert (6/5): Pleasant - Fresh Bread, quiet, scenery Aged and tired, needs new cooking equipment, larger mugs, bigger TV if one is going to lie in bed.
Needs a revamp - considering cost per night

- Raquel (9/5): Amazing, rejuvenating. - Everything was great! The private forest, the quiet, the view, sounds of nature, Jane’s hospitality, homemade bread and jam made with fruits of the forest, oh my gosh, amazing If I had to pinpoint something; Not having an ‘unobstructed’ view, every window had net to prevent insects from entering the cabin. It’s great for ensuring comfort but I did wish I could have a view without the net
- Jacqulene (10/5): Warm and comfortable with beautiful sounds of birds - The location. So peaceful, you could hear all the wildlife and see the stars outside the bedroom window of a night. Nothing not to like about this property

- Jaycelle (4/5): Disappointing - The end of the road . Could be a little daunting if you were driving there in the dark. The location was excellent. HIDE: The view from the loo! The outdoor sitting area has a view to your pooh on the loo. Truly you say architecturally designed? . The verandah cord : one wire completely unconnected, and bits of wood missing where the screens are installed that still allow the bugs in. . So repairs to your investment. . A clean of the roof to preserve your investment. The area and grout around spa has mould. What some bleach would correct.
Just a bit over priced - i am not bathing with mould. And that dangerous step into the bathroom. Get some yellow tape on it as a warning. Not looking for a broken hip there on a weekend away! You are paying for No road noise: which was a positive.
BED a bit firm but ok. Nice candles supplied: the bath salts had a bug in it?
Thanks though for the peace.
- Rebecca (9/5): Amazing, relaxing, just what the Dr ordered - There was no breakfast included, were had our own meals to cook on the supplied facilities, although the owner did deliver scrumptiously delicious freshly baked bread both mornings. The serenity was incredibly relaxing, being totally of the grid was comforting. Although WiFi was available if required. There were a plethora of DVDS to watch. The clouds and change of the surrounding rain-forest during our stay through multiple windows was spectacular. We went on the rain-forest walk down to the waterfall and Mary River. As amazing it was in the humid wet rain-forest, we were advised and I quote to used "Aerogard or Bushman's personal pest spray, eucalyptus oil and take salt as there may be leeches". Being they are only blood suckers and can generally be flicked off, although they are shifty little creatures and will follow you inside to suck your blood. Once found, removed, cleaned our wounds and applied band-aids, we were all good, just cautious. Amusing slightly

- Les (10/5): Wonderful place to get away from the world and reconnect with nature! - Location was excellent, being ‘off the grid’ was a surprise but allowed us to enjoy the peaceful environment and we wouldn’t change that aspect of it. Just a suggestion, but fresh towels if you’re staying longer than 48 hours.
- Ruth (10/5): Lyola is a truly magical place to stay and Jane is the perfect host. - It was perfect in its simplicity, remoteness, peacefulness. the pavilion was so gorgeous to spend time in, the forest just magical at all different times of the day and night. Nothing
- Emily (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it to be the perfect escape to disconnect from the hustle a - The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail, stunning views, the well-equipped kitchen was epic. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the delicious bread you provided. We looked forward to it every morning and it truly enhanced our experience.
- Kerrie (9/5): Perfect secluded spot in beautiful surroundings - The fresh bread delivered to the door daily was incredible along with the home made jams from the hosts gardens and coffee sourced locally it was splendid. This was the perfect place to unplug from the world and just exists without interruptions. Let yourself forget your busy or stressful life and just breathe!

- Marlo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (9/5): Peace and nature looking over the trees. - The freshly made bread and jams were a lovely touch. SEEK has a wonderful view. The walk down to the waterhole requires a high level of fitness. Phone coverage is minimal.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Aaron (10/5): Fabulous. Fantastic place to stay. - The complete and utter quiet. No wifi means having to switch off completely. There’s not much not to like!
- Tina (9/5): Fantastic, great couples getaway, we will be back! - Amazing place with breathtaking view of nature, lovely birds, a warm fire place and wonderful hospitality. Our host provided wonderful fresh bread and provided nice homely items in the house that is unusual to see in accommodation There were some small leeches on the rainforest walk on the property. The last part of road to get the property was a little narrow(single lane), though not much traffic.
- George (9/5): Superb -
- William (3/5): location good. outdated and not overly clean. did not enjoy our stay - location was primed out dated and not worth what I paid.
- Nathan (10/5): Refreshing tranquil stay - The location was tranquil and beautiful with a fantastic view of the rainforest. The breakfast was warm bread delivered each morning with a selection of home made jams, local coffee, tea and milk.
- Meaghan (9/5): Superb -
- Yonna (8/5): Gorgeous and relaxing. We will return. - Beautiful setting. Quiet- just the sounds of the bush. It was clean and fresh bread was delivered every morning. Very thoughtful. We would have loved a ceiling fan for the middle of the day- there is aircon though- so we’re just being fussy. :)
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Triciavq (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks Jane for welcoming us to the Seek Pavilion. Loved being so close to nature, without reception and distractions. The rainforest walk to the creek was a unique experience. The cheese plate & wine + daily breakfast offering were pleasant add ons. Jane also lovingly recommended where yo eat within the town. Looking forward to come back to your paradise! :)
- Vanessa (10/5): Unlucky because of rain but beautiful place - Breakfast was basic, bread delicious, jam and butter. Coffee ground (not my favourite) and black tea ( not my favorite), just 500ml milk for 2 nights was not enough. We bought our own milk, coffee and herbal tea. Was expecting cheese platter and eggs as in comments. Do not recommend to go on rainy days, we were unlucky. We still walk a little around and got the feet infested of leech. Advice: use salt! No wifi, and very noisy rain for 3 days.
- Dee (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful tranquil place, loved every minute of it.
- Glen (9/5): If only all places we have stayed at were as good as this - Hospitality was outstanding, above and beyond. Friendly advice and local tips for things to do and see. Fresh bread in the morning was also great.
- Feew (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely Everything! It is a little piece of paradise. Jane makes it such a special stay with home made bread, jams, aromatherapy products. We will be back
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): Awesome and will definitely be back again. - Was a very peaceful stay enjoyed the quietness.
- Mandy (9/5): totally loved it we came home relaxed - remote with only sound wildlife. and only 15 mins to Maleny
- Kirstie (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful location, lovely host/owner -
- Anup (9/5): Rainforest Shangri-La - Amazing Property in a Private Rainforest The Cottage is suited for a couple. A bit too tight for Couples traveling with children
