• Mary (7/5): If you’re looking for clean, simple accommodation, this works - It was convenient for a one night stay just to get my head down after an exhausting day At my home locally The room was clean, and although the bed was firm, it was comfortable and reasonably quiet these rooms are simple but spacious enough for one or two people great shower The room smells and the carpet are stained, outside lights on till late creating a lot of light in the room when an early night was required

• Frances (8/5): Comfortable, good value motel very convenient for the Ballarat to Skipton Rail Trail - Location is great for the Ballarat to Skipton rail trail. Even though it is in a busy road the traffic noise was not excessive No big deal but the taps are a little tired

• Trudy (9/5): Happy 😀 - The owners/staff are friendly and approachable. They catered requested needs that I mentioned prior to my stay and I appreciate them doing so for me. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank you! The small freezer part of the fridge didn't work and I ended up with melted ice blocks, because I didn't know until after I was placing the iceblocks in the freezer. Otherwise happy with everything else.o

The owner was kind enough to sew up my suit pants at short notice before I headed off to a local wedding. She went above and beyond for me. I would 100% return for a stay here.

• John (7/5): Good value for money, no unnecessary frills. - The basic breakfast was OK. The cleanliness was outstanding. The attitude of the staff was also very friendly. The water pressure for showering and washing up was barely adequate. This would be partly explained by Ballarat's current dry spell, water needs to be conserved, not wasted.
