• Shweta (8/5): - Centrally located. We could reach to other places within 15 /20 minutes from Hotel Icon. Clean and good size room. The house keeping staff was very good and helpful. Overall a good experience. The breakfast buffet which was included in our stay was average. They can do better with food preparation.

• Alan (6/5): - Location is convenient The first time we stayed the staff were helpful, the second time much less so. For example we had to ask three times for toilet paper. The airconditioner was so noisy it was hard to sleep. The room was a bit tired and needs updating. The restaurant was disappointing. The food was just about ok, a bit meh, but an Asian restaurant with no white wine! What's that about? The breakfast was very poor. Although we paid for it for three days, we skipped it after day one and went out for breakfast instead. No real coffee in these days is disappointing and no fresh juice or western options.

• Alan (6/5): - The staff were great. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were both very poor. The room was a bit noisy and could do with some minor updating.
• Raghunath (9/5): Value for Money, great location. - Excellent location. Close to all key sights. Lots of dining options in and around. Many other shopping facilities in less than a km radius. Daily breakfast was good. We did not want rooms to be cleaned/linen-change every day. On a day we needed it, we switched on the room-cleaning light, took our room access card and walked out. The room did not get cleaned that day. BECAUSE when you take out the access card all power is switched off and the room-cleaning-required indicator also goes off. This is stupid design. They could as well go back to the old paper hanging on the door know indicating do not disturb or room cleaning needed.

• Aritra (4/5): Must read before visit. - Liked the location. The service staff's attitude towards guests is just really poor. We were two adults and a kid, we kept asking for a couple of dental kits, but they only gave us one brush and one paste. After we kept asking and calling for a few times, they finally gave us an extra comforter.

• Robert (10/5): The Hotel Icon is an excellent place to stay; great location, good food, excellent staff. - The Icon is centrally located and within easy walking distance to green spaces, museums and restaurants. The food at the hotel is very good and the breakfasts are always great. And the staff is excellent; very helpful and friendly. When we were asking about for travel suggestions, the staff spent a lot of time providing ideas and did research to make their ideas work. In particular, Aadit spent a lot of time providing ideas. The local gym is immediately next door to several of the hotel's rooms, so music can start early there, as can weights bring dropped from some height.

• Jan (10/5): A relaxing and wonderful stay. - The location is ideal. Close to main attractions but also set back away from the road so less noise. The staff were fantastic... friendly and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We were even given a free upgrade for our family stay. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

• Shreyosi (8/5): Great location, good rooms but service can be better - The location was amazing, the room was big and well maintained, the hot water shower was amazing. The staff for breakfast were very courteous. The central heating system did not work for us because we wanted a cooler room. It got very suffocating at some point so had to switch off the AC completely, minus any air circulation. Also the hotel staff didn't come to check on us for room cleaning or replenishment of tea/coffee or fresh towels.

It is clean and well appointed. All the staff are lovely. I am about to book my third stay here without hesitation The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant called Hibachi

• John (9/5): - Good value for the money, clean and attractive common area, clean room and comfortable bed, a selection of English and French TV channels, great breakfast buffet and made-to-order dishes, excellent Japanese/pan-Asian restaurant, friendly staff. Nearby stores are interesting, though missing a grocery or supermarket for tourists. Room was very comfortable and clean but in need of some minor maintenance items (sliding closet door, bathroom mirror mount). Staff English was weak and knowledge of tourist info minimal.

El desayuno mezcla occidental y oriental y la tortilla está muy rica. Única pega es que les dejamos las mochilas para que nos la guardaran porque se supone que tenían consignas, se las dejamos donde nos indicaron en recepción a la vista de todos pensando que la iban a guardarlas en consignas y cuando regresamos por la tarde estaban en el mismo sitio.

• Shriji7 (10/5): Iconic experience- near, clean, width & lives upto expectations - Had great stay at Hotel Icon A earlier this week. I had to check in late due to flight landings & delays but the hotel staff was accommodating and kept a check on me. Service was great, restaurant staff made sure I had some varieties of vegetarian options. It has nice mix of business and family patrons. Rooms were very clean & spacious and I'd definitely visit again whenever I'm in Chandigarh again.

The adjoining restaurant, Hibachi, on the ground floor could easily become our dinner restaurant after a long day out for sightseeing. The noise level from the mechanical system could be disturbing for noise-sensitive guests.

• Heather (9/5): We were only in Chandigarh for one night unfortunately, would have loved to stay longer. - Lovely hotel in good location. On site restaurant was very good. Staff were helpful and courteous. Our room was next to a well lit landing and the light filtered through the curtains into the room at night. The room would’ve benefitted from dark or black out curtains.
• Sudesh (9/5): Exceptional - Location was extremely good. With quite a few shops and plenty of eateries in and around the hotel. The hotel was cosy and comfortable. Everything in the room was up to and beyond our expectation. Wash room was spotlessly clean with all amenities. The staff at the reception were welcoming, helpful and quick to respond. A special mention: Mr. Dinesh Kumar- was of great help. He suggested the order of our visit to places of interest. Which enabled us to save time. We were made to feel comfortable. Cheerful Mr. Rajat helped to arrange cabs early in the morning, on two days. Nothing.
