• Prerna (1/5): Worst experience of my life. - Hotel is on 2 nd floor and there is no lift. They don't have kitchen . But they take bookings that includes breakfast and then get unhealthy paranthas from thela roadside in front of hotel.

• Zia (10/5): An excellent budget business hotel in the heart of Chandigarh - The breakfast variety was good on room service and the staff was friendly and open to suggestions from the entire menu. The main highlight of this property was a cost-efficient stay right in the heart of the main Chandigarh market in Sector 22 (it is the main mobile market of Chandigarh) and one can walk down to most places, like the sector 17 market and sector 16 rose garden. The ISBT is nearby, thus one can check-in immediately after bus travel to Chandigarh. There is a variety of shopping and eating options available. NA

• BINNI (4/5): Over priced, overhyped hotel - Only the location of the hotel. The free breakfast was not provided at all the hotel staff did not mentioned it nor they came to ask for it. The room size was small which was alloted to us, no cleaning was done during the stay, the room was provided just at the entrance of the hotel near to the reception on can listen loud talks inside there room from reception which was not good at all. Personally I feel that the price charged for the hotel was way too high in accordance with the service provided.

This side of the parking lot is full of illegal hawkers that live the place full of trash in the evening. It's deplorable at best. It's located at the dump side of the shopping strip. Pay $5 more and rent one of the better hotels on the other side (that I ended up moving to). It was like living at home with mom. They lock the door after midnight because it's in the creepy side of the mall. It seems like a place where men have a good time with women. The tap and shower didn't work. BUYER BEWARE!!! Talk about discrimination. Avoid if you are black like me. It's like living right in the market during the day time. I booked this hotel for one night with my wife and baby of 7 months. We asked at reception if the room is clean when we checked in . And they say yes room is very clean. We asked staff to change the bed sheet . And what we saw was terrible. They put washed sheets on dirty blanket and matress. See photos . This was just beginning. At one moment we were more shocked when we saw cockroach on the wall. I made video and told the reception. But reception guy was totally drunk and didn’t listened to us . We told them we are not going to stay here for one more minute. And we asked for refund. But reception guy was so drunk that he was not knowing what was happening. And he said to us that everything is ok . “Dirty mattress and dirty blanket and insect was ok for him.” But i told i am not going to risk to stay here and get my whole family infected. You can see photos how much dirty it was. We asked refund but he didn’t listen to us. We call the police and showed them everything and they got our money back. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to someone who is paying so much money and getting this type of service

Try the Shivalik hotel under the underpass and two junctions up for dinner in the roof top Cloud 9 restaurant. Get a tuk tuk to the lake and the rock garden ( which is amazing entrance fee 30 rupees!) Older man on reception was very sullen. Lots of steps from the street to the room/ reception. Basic room with fan and no ac. Breakfast very basic. Door lock was doggy! no restaurant or longue - breakfast served in room

The rooms were disgusting, there was mold on the walls. The toilet seat was broken. The bedsheet and pillow cases were in a rough shape and we requested them to be changed.
