• Juan Rafael (9/5): Very satisfactory - Amazing Location. Easy to park nearby. The room was clean, very comfortable and has good natural lighting and ventilation. Because it is an old building, you can hear the sound of the doors of other rooms when guests are leaving early in the morning.

• judith (6/5): - La ubicación, justo en la entrada al centro histórico. Muy limpio y con muy buen olor. Te arreglan la habitación cada día si lo pides. Atención rápida a través de la app de Booking. Cama cómoda.En la entrada hay mapas de la ciudad para los huéspedes. Hay muchas escaleras para subir a la habitación, y además son escaleras altas. La puerta de entrada muy incómoda, tienes q entrar agachado para no darte un golpe en la cabeza. El baño muy grande, pero la bañera muy alta e incómoda. La habitación pequeña, no había ni una silla donde poder dejar las cosas, tan solo dos mesillas pequeñitas y un mueble pequeñito con cinco perchas. No hay armario, literal no hay sitio para ponerlo. No me ha resultado un sitio cómodo o acogedor y no repetiría.

• Graham (2/5): Disappointing, swapped to an older non-refurbished room - The photos were showing a refurbished room We arrived to be told that our room was upgraded and was not the room we booked. The new room was larger, over the road and very dated and with a small bathroom. This was not what we booked. As we sat there on arrival the room we booked was back available on Booking.com at a cheaper rate. This was NOT what we booked so we asked for a refund and found somewhere else. Disappointing experience. The photos on the website were not the room actually available.

The location is excellent, everything is close and easily accessible, and there is convenient parking nearby, which is a big plus. We were especially impressed by the complimentary upgrade to a luxury suite, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were very responsive and always available to answer any questions. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would highly recommend this place! Everything was great.

È un palazzo con molte scale con una terrazza in cima. Pulito , accogliente. Qualità nella media ma lo staff è molto gentile ed esplicativo. Stanza pulita e gradevole .Quando ho lasciato la camera però non ho più avuto alcuna risposta malgrado avessi mandato una foto delle chiavi e la cauzione del soggiorno La terrazza non è curata. Ci sono anche gli stendi biancheria sull uscio del terrazzo e anche corde per stendere sullo stesso terrazzo. La vista è bella a tratti perché si vede anche il duomo ma deve essere molto più curato. • Lindsey (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in a fabulous location! - It was so lovely staying at And So.On arrival we were upgraded to authentic Italian luxury suites which were incredibly spacious with a dining /lounge area as well as a bedroom and bathroom.Furnishings were very comfortable-we slept so well.Ceilings were decorated with frescos -beautiful!Tea, coffee and lovely bathroom products were provided.There was also a super roof terrace with fabulous views over Lecce.The hosts were so kind and friendly -such nice people who care about your experience in their accommodation.Easy check in and great communication with the hosts.Overall a fabulous stay!Thank you!

Lo staff (Pasquale) si è dimostrato estremamente gentile e attento: senza che lo chiedessimo, ci è stato offerto un upgrade dalla stanza prenotata a una splendida suite, impreziosita da affreschi meravigliosi che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale. La posizione è ottima, situata proprio all’ingresso di una delle porte principali della città, Porta San Biagio, il che la rende comodissima per visitare il centro. • Laura (7/5): .. - Ottima posizione, stanza con balcone e macchinetta del caffè con cialde super apprezzata Ho usufruito del servizio di late check-out, pagando un supplemento di 20€ (che incide per oltre il 50% sulla tariffa della singola notte) per poter lavorare in tranquillità fino alle 14:45, come concordato con la proprietà. Purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che piacevole. Dalle 10:00 del mattino, la collaboratrice addetta alle pulizie ha manifestato rumorosamente il proprio disappunto per la mia presenza, continuando a sbuffare nei corridoi e rendendo impossibile la concentrazione. Alle 14:28, con modi decisamente sgarbati e senza neanche un saluto, ha bussato alla porta sollecitando l'uscita immediata ("Check-out!"). Trovo inammissibile che un ospite, dopo aver pagato per un servizio specifico, venga trattato come un peso o un ostacolo al lavoro altrui. Se la struttura non è in grado di gestire un check-out posticipato con la dovuta professionalità e cortesia, sarebbe meglio non offrirlo affatto.

• Elisa (1/5): very disappointing and upsetting - looked great in the photos We arrived at 10:30pm in the rain and were not allowed to enter because I didn’t have my physical passport with me. I did have my driver’s licence and clear photos of my passport, which I use regularly at local accommodations without any issue. The receptionist refused entry, insisting it was against the law and that he would be fined. What didn’t make sense is that the check‑in process was fully automatic and required only uploading photos of the passport, including the front cover. When I pointed out this inconsistency, I received a surprisingly aggressive and stinging reply. They initially refused to refund my payment as well; only after further discussion was the refund finally issued. I was upset, wet, and left without anywhere to stay at that hour. The whole experience was unexpected, unprofessional, and absolutely not in line with the warm hospitality I’ve always known in Puglia. I’ve been using Booking and Airbnb for over 20 years and have never experienced anything like this.”

Check in semplice e spiegato in maniera puntale e precisa. Durante la notte sembrava di essere a dormire nella via principale. Una stanza in centro deve prevedere una percentuale di insonorizzazione per forza. Urla e schiamazzi notturni che ci hanno tenute sveglie per ore. Il soffione della doccia sparava acqua in ogni dove, mancanza della tenda in doccia. Lo sciacquone del bagno non funzionava. Si doveva attendere almeno 15 minuti se prima di te era andato qualcun altro in bagno. Poca carta igienica.

Está a pocos metros de las principales atracciones turisticas. Por decir algo, los techos del baño un poco bajos y que hay escaleras para subir al alojamiento. Se compensa con la ubicación y la atención recibida.

Mi sono svegliato per il rumore proveniente dalla strada. Una macchina per la pulizia. Non c'era nessun coltello nella stanza.

• Erika (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay at And So and would gladly recommend it to our friends and family - The location of the property is perfectly situated just behind the beautiful Porta San Biagio, in the old town of Lecce. It was easy to find parking nearby, and everything you needed, be it a café, restaurants, historic monuments and city vibe, was just outside the door. A plus is the easy parking facilities around Piazza d'Italia.

• Sarah (9/5): Soggiorno perfetto nel cuore di Lecce, struttura curata e staff super disponibile e gentile! - Suite bella e spaziosa, posizione perfetta nel centro di Lecce. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la presenza dei balconi e soprattutto l’upgrade gratuito, davvero una bellissima sorpresa. L’unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile è l’insonorizzazione della stanza: durante la notte si sentivano le altre persone parlare. Inoltre, suggerirei di aggiungere un piccolo cestino in bagno, che sarebbe comodo.

• Anna (7/5): - I think for the money I paid this was an excellent option. The room was large and pleasant with a table, kettle, drinking water etc. Joy of joys in January it was also warm, with a radiator already on before I arrived (quite unusual I have found). The staff were pleasant enough via whatsapp. The location was great for exploring the old city. If you pay 30 euros for a night you can’t expect more - this was a good place for a night or two and I was grateful.. The thing that for me was a big minus point was the unusually sparse communication. Initially I felt quite unwelcome and was unable to plan because nobody answered my several queries about check-in. One other thing I would say is that Lecce old town has streets which are very echoey and when groups of happy young people walk along them it is immediately noisy. There is not much any hotel could do about this so if you’re sensitive bring ear plugs, wherever you stay. This was not a noisy street but it did have noise from passers-by.
