- Shaun (5/5): Hotel central location, but don't go for the breakfast, go across the road to the coffee shop - The location of the hotel to the village is great, right in the centre, close to shops, restaurants and ski bus The breakfast, We except it was continental breakfast, but it was so basic, and very cheep produce, No cold meats, only one choice of cheese, only one choice of fruit, no english tea, or when we asked no offer to supply english tea, we have stayed in many many hotels, and this was by far the worst choice of breakfast,

Breakfast was simple, but good. A bit noisy when people walk up and down the stairs, but i think the building is so old that not much can be done about that.

- Esther (9/5): Highly recommended - would stay again - Location right in the heart of the village and a 10 minute walk from the Bettex gondola. Hire your ski stuff from a ski shop at the top of the bettex gondola and then pay £2 pppd for a locker up there so you don’t have to carry your skis etc up & down to the village. Lovely rooms with balconies, nice and warm for drying clothes. Breakfast basic (croissants /bread/ yogurt/cheese/jam. Coffee/tea/juice/water) but very nice. We were leaving at 7am last day (breakfast is 7.30 in this hotel) - in every other hotel we’ve ever stayed in they pop a croissant or something in a little bag as you’ll be missing the breakfast you paid for. They said they weren’t able to do this. Maybe consider this as a gesture.

- Janine (8/5): Central location and affordable for a ski trip. Room carpets could be updated but it was clean and a good stay. - Great location in the middle of town. Very easy to communicate and check in with the hotel. Friendly staff. I wish there was a small room for skies and even boots. There are some hooks downstairs in the hall but it would be nice to have them locked in a room or cabinets and out of the rooms.

- Isabelle (7/5): Pas mal - Hôtel très bien situé en plein centre. 700 m des télécabines et de la gare du tramway du Mont Blanc. Pas d’ascenseur, mes genoux ont eu du mal à monter les 3 étages… Petit déjeuner manque de choix salé, on aurait apprécié un œuf ou un peu de jambon.

- Andreas (8/5): Très correct pour un petit séjour à Saint-Gervais. - L'hôtel est parfaitement situé, en plein centre du Village de Saint-Gervais. Tout est accessible à proximité. Les Bains Thermaux sont tout proche grâce à un ascenseur. depuis la gare SNCF de Saint-Gervais on accède facilement à l'hôtel grâce à un bus pris à la gare. Le personnel est très gentil et sympathique. La chambre a un magnifique balcon qui donne sur le village. Chambre calme, propre et parfaitement insonorisée. Le séjour fut positif. L'équipement est très simple, basique et la décoration fait un peu vieillot. La salle de bain mérite un bon refresh. Il pourrait y avoir aussi plus de choix pour le petit-déjeuner, par exemple pour le salé.

Traditional, quite simple, hotel but beds were comfortable and everything worked well even though the bathrooms were a bit dated. Nice welcome from the bar manager. 15 minute walk to the ski lift. No obvious shuttle bus. Drop off and pick up parking was a bit awkward - only one space used by a staff member when we were trying to leave Breakfast was very basic - some fruit other than apples would have helped.

- Colette (10/5): Super - Petit déjeuner à volonté avec tout ce qu'il faut pour débuter une très belle journée. Le parking de la ville gratuit est un grand avantage aussi pour les touristes.

L'hôtel est assez charmant mais la chambre est veillotte comme la salle de bain qui mériterait une petite rénovation... Le "salé" du petit déjeuner se limite au fromage (le jour de ma présence) donc il pourrait comporter un peu de jambon ou des œufs pour plus de protéines.. Manque sans doute un parking surtout pour la haute saison (En septembre, assez facile de trouver une place dans le village qui a un parking gratuit dans le centre et on trouve des places dans les rues proches), bien qu'il y ait un dépose bagage.. Je n'ai pas vu d'ascenseur (sauf erreur) donc demandez si vous avez des problèmes pour vous déplacer et préférez des chambres au RDC ou au 1er étage...

- Stuart (4/5): Disappointing despite the position in St Gervais. Noisy and impersonal. - The position. We stayed there 18 years ago and thought it would be nice to return. The shower was good! Tired hotel, bar not open every night. Couldn’t adjust the room temperature as there was only a radiator in the small bathroom . The noise every night from the bar across the road kept us awake every night. Just a code to get in after a long journey from U.K. sent to my “ home number” .I had to phone to get entry. Breakfast was ok . No room kettle, which would have been nice as there was nowhere to get a cup of tea in the evening without going to a neighbouring restaurant. This hotel is missing out, just a kind gesture on arrival would have made all the difference. It is more like an air b&b. Sadly we cannot recommend it.

- Franck (3/5): - L'emplacement La chambre des années 1970 jamais rénovée ! Trop trop vieille, inadmissible ! Je n'avais pas vu ça depuis 30 ans au moins, mais à 150 € la nuit ! Le petit déj uniquement pour se nourrir. Je déconseille cet hôtel.
