Guest Reviews
- JULIE (10/5): Quel endroit formidable!
Betjeningen i top.
- João (8/5): - This place is a dream. The property is simple, but beautiful and full of character. Internet doesn't work, but in this case, that is a plus, not a minus. In paradise, you don't need internet...
Kann man also echt weiterempfehlen...
- Jacob Michael (8/5): The owner may reply. - The best property I stayed in. The owner is a little odd and will interrupt you to strike up conversation, but he’s just being friendly. The property is excellent value, and is up a steep hill which I like (no fat guests). The food was pretty good and the breakfasts very filling. Rooms were relatively comprehensive and very clean, water very hot. To notch little mountain retreat. 8.5/10.
- Kirsty (10/5): A wonderful hotel in idyllic surroundings - My friend and I stayed here during a trip to climb Mount Toubkal and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we arrived to departure we were treated exceptionally well by all the staff at the hotel who were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in every way. I would thoroughly recommmend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend time in the village of Imlil and its surroundings. My friend and I both enjoyed our stay, the food, the views and the peace and quiet temendously.
- Hicham (10/5): Amazing place that every hicker should visit - We stayed 2 nights. Youssef was so nice. He organized for us excellent daily hicking trips with professional local guides. The second day, the hike was through local villages which was amazing. Youssef prepared amazing dishes. You will need to call when you get close. He will send you somebody to meet you at the Imlil village. Excellent place with an amazing view. Enjoy snd do not forget to take care of the hosts and guides. They depends on tourisme.
- Elgan (8/5): - Good value
- Adrian (10/5): Comfortable and clean, beautiful views! - Comfortable lodging settled amongst the hills surrounding Imlil. About a 7-10 minute walk up the hill, or a mule ride for those who prefer other means of transportation. Beautiful views overlooking the valley and delicious food served up by the family that runs the riad. Would stay again if I'm in the area!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly helpful staff, amazing view overlooking Imlil and other villages in the valley.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place. Nice people. Good service. Good food.
- Julian (10/5): - Tolle Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place. Great view. Cozy place. I wiuld recommend it.
Immer wieder gerne!
- Henrik (8/5): Pleasant stay at Riad Atlas Prestige - Imlil is nice, and Riad Atlas prestige was a pleasant place to be, with a nice owner
- Agnieszka (10/5): - Fantastyczne miejsce, z giścinnym gospodarzem, dobrym jedzeniem i spektakularnym widokiem.
- Nickolas (10/5): Fantastic Riad & perfect for Toubkal Trekking - A fantastic Riad, perfectly located for mount Toubkal trek. The food is delicious and the views are beautiful. The dinner tagines were perfect and a very good breakfast outside surrounded by mountains was wonderful. Ibrahim took good care of us and I would completely recommend staying here. A bit difficult to find it you are not met in the town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place and staff are friendly, I had a great time here !
- Leon Karlsen (10/5): - We spent a fantastic day at the Riad Atlas Prestige in Imlil. The view is absolutely stunning, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They reached out to us several times upon arrival to make sure everything was in place.
The host makes a delicious tagine – other guests at the riad recommended the food to us and they were not wrong – the portions are huge and really tasty.
We arrived by car from Marrakech and it was a bit hard to find the riad, as it is a 10-15 minute walk from the main road. We parked close to the river and was greeted by one of the staff members who insisted to carry our luggage.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Outstanding accommodation in Imlil, overlooking the village. Terrace has a great view of village and mountains. Rooms are basic but comfortable and have all you need. Great little dining room with good food - we had a UN of guests - Australian, Belgium, French, Italian, Ukrainian. Best part of the Riad Atlas Prestige is the staff - professional, hard working, helpful. You have to walk 10 minutes or so off road to get to it - donkeys carry luggage (and you if you want). Thoroughly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect riad, in a very pretty spot. - Perfect from start until end. The host made sure that we felt comfortable at all times. Gave us advice for where to walk. Riad is warm (in the winter) even though it was snowy and chilly outside. Food is very affordable and very tasty. It's a small hike up, but transfer can be organized, although we did not use this service. Views fron the rooms and terrass are amazing!
- DAVID (8/5): Almost Perfect - The Riad Atlas Prestige was an amazing place to stay in Imlil. The food they had to offer was excellent. The host was perfect and the views were out of this world. They also organised trekking for me. Which was a brilliant experience thanks to my guide Hussein. Even the hike up to the Riad with baggage carried by a mule was an experience. The Riad could have been the most relaxing experience ever if it were not for the noise made by the staff. My room was near the kitchen and the noise late at night was ridiculous. As was the shouting. It was a real shame as this was an amazing place.
- Chris (10/5): A great stay in Village of Imlil - We chose this hotel because it was one of the few with a king size bed. We were not disappointed at all. Although the riad is up a hill and you need to hike up, you can use their mule service to get there. We loved our stay. The service was great and their breakfasts delicious. We also had a tagine for dinner and it is a meal that you cannot miss out. We just loved this little town and the neighborhood villages and hope to come back.
- martin holm (10/5): Great stay in the mountains - Stayed only one night - enjoyed every minute. Great place, amazing nature - good short hikes too ... like 15 min to a waterfall! Don't miss out on the set menu offered - meatballs are amazing !
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very friendly staff and great views - The staff were very friendly. They cooked us really good food and they were very helpful. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean. The views of the Atlas Mountains were brilliant from the hotel.
- elyse (10/5): Lovely place - Really pleased with out stay. The staff were very hospitable and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you're trekking around the mountains!
- Louis (10/5): - I had a great stay at this riad. The guys running the place were really nice and very kindly told me not to worry when I had mistakenly taken my room key with me after my stay.
The riad is on top of a rather steep hill, which you can ride up to by donkey, though I had no issues getting there with a huge backpacker backpack.
The food was great and filling after a long day of hiking, and I imagine that the outdoor roof terrace would be unbelievable during the summer months to have breakfast on. Meals were taken in a communal-type dining room and presented a good opportunity to meet other travellers.
My room was comfortable and you even get a hot water bottle before bed during the cold winter months. A very nice touch.
The wifi speed was the only real negative, although it's understandable given the location that it's not on the same level as say somewhere in Marrakech. It didn't particularly detract from my experience however and I managed to do anything important that I needed to online during my time there.
I will definitely return to Imlil, as it was my favourite part of Morocco, and I would most certainly return to Riad Atlas Prestige.
- Meyrick (8/5): Trek up the hillside rewards you with lovely views - Accessing the riad requires approximately a 10 - 15 minute trek up the mountainside. Appreciated the provision of a mule to carry our luggage - was quite fun! Lovely views from both our room and the communal area. Room was basic but perfectly adequate given the price. Staff were obliging. If you enjoy the outdoors, Imlil is an ideal area to while away a couple of days.
- kes (10/5): Great stay at the prestige - A short walk up from the main village, we were met by staff by our car in the village and our baggage was taken up to the riad by donkey. The rooms are clean and tidy, with traditional burber gowns and slippers provided to fend off any chills. Views from the balconies are extraordinary.
- Philipp (10/5): - Ein sehr komfortables Zimmer. Für diesen Preis absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr sauber!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent, unique location - Great hotel. Have to take mule to the hotel which is unique. Similar to Kasbah. Without the price. Dinner was good. Home made. I would stay here and eat lunch at the Kasbah which is only a 5 min walk. Clean rooms.
- Paul J (10/5): Hiking unbundling Atlas mountains. - Lovely hotel. Best to date. Issmail was a very attentive host and nothing was too much trouble. Great food.
- Stephen (8/5): Just lovely - Lovely little getaway 1 hour from Marrakesh. Very picturesque drive to the town of Imlill. Catch the supplied donkey from the town to help scale the hills and tracks, nice! It a pretty tough walk up otherwise. Hotel was very quaint and the staff super friendly. Very traditional , probably an old family home. Evening meal was great, traditional Moroccan foods. Room has a good air con heater in case the nights get chilly but there were plenty of blankets. Rooms weren't massive but were adequate size to be honest. We had 2 kids and 2 adults. Breakfast was cereals juices etc. Very nice walks around the hotels into the mountains, kids loved exploring looking for fossils. Watch small kids, slopes are very steep and the tracks narrow, maybe ask for a donkey in case your worried. It's a great base camp for serious climbers and good for a get away for a night or two from the bustle of Marrakesh.
Simply loved it.
- Steve (10/5): WONDERFUL STAY - Wonderful, relaxing stay at a gorgeous little riad. Amazing views, fantastic service and brilliant food.
- Mustapha (10/5): Comfy & Friendly - Comfy place and hospitable people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - -Nettes Personal
-Gutes Essen
