- Perry (1/5): Misleading, ripoff, I should’ve been refunded - The waterfront with sunset is a nice location. The pictures of the resort way vessel and mislead on anything else. This property is wildly misleading. It is not a resort. The bungalows are half finished and our had brown mold in it. We were given a section of one with no windows, smoke detector, or amenities promised like coffee makers. Should not have legally been a rentable room. It was so bad for my pregnant wife we checked out a night early. When I politely raised my concerns to the front desk upon our early departure she shrugged and dismissed it. I expected to offfer a refund for our horrible experience, but was met with cold nonchalance instead. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. There was construction garbage all around! Their airstream was literally surrounded by trash, construction containers! I have half a mind to report the property for misleading and renting rooms clearly not up to any code.

- LABDRB (6/5): Beautiful Setting, But Accommodations Fell Short of Expectations - The location of Largo Resort is truly stunning, with unforgettable sunsets that are easily the highlight of the stay. The grounds are well kept, parking was very accommodating, and the pool area is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful and relaxing. That said, our experience with the Serenity Cottage did not fully meet expectations, particularly given the price point. While it is advertised as a two bedroom unit, it did not function as one in a practical sense, which was disappointing for two couples traveling together. The interior setup was quite limited. There was no proper dining space, just a small side table and a coffee table, and no comfortable area to sit and watch TV. The available chairs were upright and not particularly inviting, with cushions that were damp and in poor condition. Additionally, the blinds throughout the unit appeared dirty, and there was a lack of basic comforts such as extra pillows, blankets, and an adequate supply of towels. At a lower price point, around $200 to $250 per night, these issues might be easier to overlook. However, at a total of $1,105.42 for two nights, we expected a higher level of comfort and attention to detail. Overall, the property’s location and outdoor amenities are excellent, but the accommodations, at least in this unit, did not align with the cost.

- MarinaStylist (6/5): NOT A RESORT MY ANY MEANS! JUST A FEW BUNGALOWS. - This Place is a far cry from a RESORT! It's just a few bungalows. Sharing a pool, paddle boats, water front. ZERO ammenities (besides pool). No cafe or any type of food on site. Our "Beach Front" bungalow was clean and remodeled. But had very low ceiling that huge cracks. If you're looking for a bungalow experience, then this place is for you. It was quiet and peaceful. We thought it was a mini "resort" when booking. A little misleading.

- Stefan (9/5): Bungalow mit Privatstrand und Wildlife - Wir hatten den Sunset Bungalow mit Meerblick sehr schön. Eigener Ministrand. Paddelboote frei zur Verfügung konnte damit Manatees und Delfine sehen, sehr zu empfehlen Leider hört man die Strasse ziemlich laut selbst im Sunset Bungalow der am weitesten davon weg ist. Stolzer Preis.

We had a two bedroom bungalow with king bedroom and queen bed. It said two beds when I booked. The other bed in living room area is a Murphy Bed and the legs are broke… no way you could sleep on it…the leg had tape on it so I’m sure they know it’s broke.

- Alejandro (3/5): Better options in the keys at this price point. - We were given the key to the bungalow. Got to the door and lock was broken. Called front, employee came gave us a code to use instead, fine. Get inside and the AC is blasting cold no freezing in the bedroom. Look for AC remote to lower it, nowhere to be found. Asked front desk to please help. Staffmember came said "i dont know housekeeping said the remote was here". Well clearly they were wrong as you yourself can see there is no remote. He said ok let me look for another remote. Never heard back from him. Had to sleep in living room bed because of the ridiculous cold temp in bedroom. Also for a place that touts itself as a "zen" and relaxing atmosphere, having two guys with leafblowers for 45 minutes all around us while we were trying to relax in the pool area probably isnt the best idea. Expected better customer service for a 400 a night room. Needless to say won't be back.

- L784ZRjodys (10/5): Vacationing in a tropical paradise - Largo resort is absolutely spectacular! This a a high end luxury boutique resort - I was treated like family from the staff as soon as I arrived. You couldn’t help but immediately relax from the beauty, and serenity of the pool and private beach. This is a tropical paradise, a one of a kind experience.. the accommodations were over the top— all the luxuries and amenities to guarantee a memorable vacation. Bravo!!!!

There is no food provided which is something we should have noticed before booking the hotel as I am sure it says somewhere there is no dining? We got in the room which was nice but they have a nice coffee machine and supplies yet no one thought of putting a a couple of water bottles. There is no place you can get water in the hotel. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned either. The entrance and exit was also weird when you drive in. On the way in you need to punch your password and on the way out the sensors open the doors automatically which worked on the first day but the last 2 days, we could not get that door opened as the sensors were not working? We ended up going out from the entrance door and my wife had to go out walking to punch the passowrd from the outside while I was going in the wrong direction just to be able to get out. I am pretty sure we would not have come here if we knew the hotel's concept.

If you want to go for several days, I recommend bringing a cooler to store your drinks, as the place doesn't have a bar or food service by the pool. The sunset is beautiful and waking up to see so many dewy trees through the blinds is gorgeous. I didn't like the lack of room service. They didn't provide new pool towels to replace them. Maybe they don't want to interrupt your stay and your peace of mind, but they should have a dedicated place to pick up clean towels. And there are too many mosquitoes. If it weren't for the mosquitoes, you'd never want to leave the pool.

- benjL564IO (2/5): Worst customer experience ever - I booked a stay for February 5-11th 2026. I booked through hotels.com. You overcharged me by 1000 dollars on my deposit. I have the receipt of what I should have been charged and what I was actually charged. I called hotels.com to try to get the matter resolved. As expected, they said the charge came from the hotel, so we had to work with them. They tried calling you, you didn’t pick up. I have called a million times at this point. Your general manager hung up the phone on me. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. It’s an obvious mistake, and you’re unwilling to fix it. I have filed a case with the better business bureau, but you refuse to work with them. I don’t understand how this business still operates. No one should book with these guys. It’s proven to be a nightmare.

Echoing a widely popular sentiment here, my recent stay at your place was nothing less than a budget horror flick. Here's the cherry on the sundae: your website. I understand it's about good marketing, but outright lies? Is that the new norm? Bike rentals? What bikes? If you meant those rusted, ancient artifacts that should belong to a museum rather than a functioning resort, then backdrop nailed. And let's not forget those invisible kayaks. Walking into our room was like stepping into a primordial miasma. The smell of mold was reminiscent of a damp dungeon, how delectably ambient. The bathroom was another thrilling escapade, with clogged drains and mystery hairs in the sink. Lovely work on the hygiene upkeep! And just so you know, a ramshackle chair doesn't suddenly become "eco-friendly" because it's falling apart. The overall neglect in maintaining the place doesn't paint an idyllic picture, rather bellows "negligence". Your place is run down and it shows. The service I experienced was outright unacceptable. Your supposed manager, Dayana, was nothing short of a joke. From check-in, she showed a profound lack of professional courtesy, meeting us with an unwarranted attitude and petty frustration. This isn't all, however. Upon discussing the unsatisfactory condition of our room, Dayana conveniently and rudely decided to call it a day. It felt dismissive, it lacked even basic managerial responsibility. She promised that her manager would be in contact with us - an interaction that never took place. My family and I, we valued our peace of mind and decided to invest in a weekend getaway. Little did we know, we were signing up for a frustration spree. I'm certain I speak for most - if not all - when I say this: never again. In hindsight, I should have paid heed to those thousand-odd negative reviews. I earnestly advise you to address these issues because it takes one dissatisfied customer to bring down a reputation years in the making.

Tranquility is basically a one-bedroom, two bath duplex with a Murphy bed in the common area. It worked perfectly for a family of four (willing to share a bed). The air conditioning was questionable, but it was OK. Like others, the lack of service is their glaring issue. We asked for fresh towels and had to ask 3 times. Advice: just ask for daily housekeeping. They’re not coming if you don’t. There are really few “resort” amenities ultimately. The kayaks were “in the shop”, but there were paddle boards available. The pool is really nice. The “beachfront” was lovely, but there’s a lot of concrete, not a natural shoreline, which may be common on that side of the key.

- David (4/5): - Largo resort is at a beautiful location and I liked the quiet atmosphere. However, the rooms were average at best. The bed was not very comfortable. Very poor for what you'd expect for the price. There was no kitchen sink as advertised (just a bathroom sink). They did not deliver the mediocre breakfast basket until late morning. The shower leaked out to the bathroom and bedroom floor. We had limited time there and we were prohibited from using the pool from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm since they had booked a commercial photo shoot that highjacked the whole area. The owners or managers had no concern for the paying guests. Very poor customer service. I hope in the future that they fix up the rooms and pay better attention to servicing their paying guests versus just catering to commercial clients.

Wonderful walk in shower. Friendly cats roam the property and are a delight. Ample parking. Secure location. Free bikes and kayaks for guest use. Breakfast basket was not delivered at a typical breakfast time. I had to go to the office to collect the basket in the morning. If you are relying on this delivery to get you started for the day, you will need to wait until the office is open. If you prefer to eat early, you should plan to go out for breakfast or keep food in your suite. Facilities are a little old and could use a fresh coat of paint and updated furniture. No bay swimming access. No on-site bar.

- Andrew (10/5): - We stayed in the Twilight Lodge as a family of four with teenagers. We were able to check in early and enjoy the lovely heated pool. The accommodation was clean and well appointed with two bathrooms. The surrounding area within the complex and beach are very nice. Would recommend for a chilled out stop in the Keys. We didn’t think to ask but probably an extra single bed would have been good to accommodate a family of four better.

The parking was a bit questionable, different people kept parking in the spot right in front of the villa we were staying. Not a huge issue though we will definitely visit again next time.

Instant headache, have bad allergies and asthma. Would not recommend. Could not stay there!
- threelittleburdesn (10/5): Hidden GEM!! - The most peaceful & serene resort experience I have ever had. I love an easy trip - and Largo Resort is super easy to get to. Once you’re inside the gates - you would have no idea how close to the real world you actually are. Lush greenery everywhere, calming fountains, unique bungalows. The infinity pool is beautiful & was never busy during our stay. The water views are spectacular. Everything about the accommodations were comfortable, lots of extra touches, and high end. One of my favorite vacations ever. Brandi, the manager was so kind & helpful - as were ALL other staff members. They even drop off a breakfast basket everyday for guests! The most wonderful spot in Key Largo. Can’t wait to return.

The only downside was our unit in the airstream. The bed was rockhard and the design was a bit disfunctional with a little kitchen area equipped with microwave, coffeepot, etc, but no sink. There were some insects inside the unit as well. Would come back to stay in one of the other units next time!

All staff met was super nice and helpful. The check in instructions were non existent. We had a code for one villa but were missing the other one. One room was locked and we had to make a bed on the couch for the first night until we got the key. Plus we never actually checked in, never saw the reception and when we urgently needed to reach them, no one answered the phone. We did not get our breakfast on the first morning and on the second, it was only for 4 people when we were 10.

- V9841GFchadw (4/5): Customer service and upkeep lacks. - Then came the issues with the resort. A FL cold front moved in. The pool heater worked for the 1st day, after that it broke. Never worked rest of the weekend. Putting the pool into high 60 degs. My parents had termites boring a hole into their bedroom ceiling. Dropping dust onto the floor. Then the brides father who’s battling cancer - had no hot water to shower during the stay. They kept resetting the breaker and saying it’s okay only for it to trip again. He was also locked out of the room at one point. There is no one at all on site at night. We looked for someone for over 30 mins. Then their ac leaked all over their wedding cloths. Upon check out she asked the owner to call, who never did. Brandi emailed her and said they are to blame them for the ac saying they opened the window in a bathroom, and the window broke. But really it was the drain line on the mini split that clogged. Also I do hvac and plumbing for a living. Opening a window will not cause an ac to leak. They told her they should have thrown them out for having someone climb it he window to unlock the door. Even though again , no one was on site. She also told them it was her fault for leaving the key. Again not sorry it stopped working, it was well you should have taken a key for an auto lock. This is all emailed by Brandi the same Brandi that knew we were supposed to have a meeting the day they fired the last team yet didn’t get on the zoom call with or call us, or email us. We had to find out. 4 days later after the scheduled 60 day call. The same Brandi that came down to our room with an attitude telling us about the storm from 6 months ago. And they had not bought anything new because it all needs branded and researched. I even though not one thing in that place . The new management Company working there needs a crash course on customer service. Everything is an excuse with attitude. I feel bad moving forward while they are still there any bride and groom.

Greeted with overflowing trash that smelled. Kindly requested removal and was not accommodated. Sheets were dirty with sand in the bed. No extra sheets or blankets available or anyone to call. Our room had some nice luxuries but felt tired and old. Window in bedroom was broken which didn’t make me feel safe. Didn’t realize our bungalow shared a wall and our neighbors had a very loud party all night Definitely feel I overpaid for what was received Not really a resort feel and we were quite uncomfortable after a long travel day. Disappointed
