The larger room we had was very comfortable, with a useful ensuite and plenty of storage for summer visitors. Breakfast was light and simple, but being the only guests in the hotel totally understandable. The hosts were delightful, knowledgeable, and clearly enjoyed helping guests. We'll be back!

The location is absolutely perfect – truly ski-in, ski-out access that made getting onto the slopes effortless each day. The views over the mountains were stunning and added to the whole alpine experience. What really stood out, though, was the genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. From check-in to dining, every interaction felt warm and personal.

It would have been amazing to have the pool and spa working but this might only be a summer thing.. however even if just the spa was working and hot the pool could be left as a cold plunge pool for icy dips that would still be great. such a great feature to have and sad to not see it being used.

Breakfast was not provided. we paid extra for breakfast for 1 day but there was no choice regarding what was available and found it quite expensive at $25 per person for pancakes and drinks. Apartment was cold despite having apparently having underfloor heating, windows are not double glazed hence we always had a draft circulating in the apartment. The accomodation lent us a standalone heater which we placed in the living are which helped, but the bedrooms were still cold.

It’s a very warm and comfortable lodge with amazing food for dinner and a nice little bar in an inviting lounge dining area where you feel very at home. Whilst rooms are a little on the smaller side as other reviews pointed out, they are more than comfortable and cosy and you have a large comfortable lounge on the main level to relax in and enjoy when you feel like getting out of the room. We had the spa room which was fantastic after a day in the slopes. The hosts James, Bronwyn and all the staff are amazing and make you feel very much at home and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. It’s a very personalised experience. I very much enjoyed the evening chats in the lounge bar. Would definitely return to Attunga in the future. Nothing.

Sean (7/5): A bit below expectations. - Lovely lounge. Great view. Good location near a ski lift. Nice staff. Overall a warm and cosy place to escape the snow. They stopped providing a hot breakfast the day we arrived because apparently we were low season. I had asked the previous week what was for breakfast and was never told this was about to happen. The price we paid for the accommodation certainly didn't feel like it was a low season price. They even stopped bothering to make coffee in the morning just provided a coffee bag.These things added up to a feeling that they were just going through the motions because they weren't busy due to a lack of decent snow. Also note the indoor pool is still closed. They say due to covid, but even public pools are back open.
