- rodolfo (8/5): over all I am happy with the accomodation definitely worth it. I would recommend my friends here - Staff are friendly The shower is a little bit low on pressure and the hot water does not put out much
- Ward (10/5): - Staff were fantastic, made our stay very easy.
- Michael (10/5): - Lachie and Gemma were fantastic
- Elizabeth (10/5): The stay was wonderful and convenient, would definitel be looking to stay here again in the future!! - The amenities were excellent, well maintained and very useful. The staff were warm and welcoming, and ready to assist with any requests, would highly recommend this accommodation to all who stay on mountain. The bathroom design is a bit awkward, but still managable
- Christine (6/5): -
- Jacqui (9/5): Comfortable, clean, warm and great breakfast! - Comfortable, clean, warm and great location.
Delicious breakfast. Complimentary transfer on arrival and departure. Had everything we needed and more.
- David (9/5): The perfect ski lodge! - Thank you Lachie, amy and Sammy for your amazing hospitality.
The Mexican themed restaurant and cozy bar was the perfect way to end each day.
Will recommend to friends and be back next year!
- Corina (10/5): Great value stay - Breakfast was our biggest stand out, location was good, very close to the chairlifts. Great service from Lachie and quick communication. Beds were super comfy and rooms were clean. Dry room was great and lots of space, kept our gear dry. Mexican food for dinner was amazing too. No control over the heaters I believe, it got too hot at night, hard to sleep.
- Nicholas (10/5): Comfortable and carefree - Just about everything about the Cooroona lodge surpassed expectations. From the super practical drying rooms for all our wet snow gear, to the freshly renovated rooms and lounge, to the well rounded complimentary breakfast, and super delicious and filling dinner menu. But most of all, the shock factor when I found out Lachie not only picks you up and drops you off promptly to the lodge with all your luggage, but does it out of goodwill! No excessively rude charge to the generic shuttle company of falls creek that offers the same service! What a stress free experience, can’t recommend lachie and the cooroona lodge enough. Will be back next time!
- Byron (7/5): Good stay overall. - Need to have some containers in the kitchen for self catering. There is a microwave nothing to cook with. An oven and pots and pans would be great too. All seems like it is driving you to eat in the restarant which we did do but didnt want to do that every night especially late season when many eating places were closed as above
- Sundagar (10/5): will come again - yea nothing
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): -
- Marcus (10/5): Thanks for amazing stay will be back! - Awesome lodge and great service with pick up and drop off from village a bonus!
- Renee (10/5): Friendly staff, great location & food - Staff were welcoming and accommodating, I was travelling solo with my son so the extra help was appreciated. It was so good being able to walk into the dining space for a home cooked breakfast each morning. The knowledge that we could feast on epic mexican at night in the same space made the trip a breeze. The drying room was also excellent, with heaps of room.
- Kai (10/5): - Great renovated rooms, awesome restaurant with great food and drinks, hosts are very helpful, great value for money for accomodation and food
- Veronica (10/5): Convenient & comfortable stay on the mountain. - Complementary return transfer (luggage & people)from transfer terminal. Owners very helpful & welcoming. Complementary breakfast & ability to ski in & out. Bar (delicious frozen margaritas) & restaurant (Mexican) within lodge. Will definitely stay again.
- Julian (10/5): - Great location, services and service
- Emma (10/5): -
- adam (7/5): Great to have staff collect you from the alpine transport centre and the suna was very nice - The Suna was good, limited times but still a good extra Small room limited area
- Martin (10/5): -
- Zhipeng (1/5): Don’t trust the picture you see, End up move to other hotel, if I were know the room like this, i would not pay for more - Don’t trust the picture you see,
Breakfast included Don’t trust the picture you see,
Pictures are not showing what you gonna get, tricky and doggy.
- KAI LUN (9/5): -
- Donard (9/5): - Friendly staff, convenient location (near ski rentals and Falls Creek shuttle service stops), they also offer free pickup and drop off, and they have good food!
- Vijish (7/5): Good -
- Phillip (8/5): Friendly beautiful staff and great food - Beautiful location . Great food. Friendly helpful staff. Good value. Cooroona Alpine Lodge is a very nice place to stay at in Falls Creek Beds were uncomfortable and the shower was mostly lukewarm.
- Amy (9/5): Perfect for family holidays - Location is the best. Breakfast is different everyday simply but nice. Newly renovated rooms.
Mexican restaurant is also good. Reasonable price ~ NA
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Vu (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. The place was very and has everything needed. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lachie, helping us a lot since this is our first time up to the mountain
- Zi (1/5): Bad - Nice and clean newly renovated We were treated badly with the owners' bias and aggressive attitude. We were threatened in front of our young children, for some point we were worried about our safety. Truly believed was unnecessary and unreasonable; all misunderstanding could have been resolved with a normal communication. Our young children (4,7,8yr old) were traumatised and worried for the whole stay.
- Ai (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent. Very friendly staff. Help to transfer our luggage is much appreciated. Room is a little small for 3 of us.
- Djenoe (10/5): Excellent - Everything
- Neate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michal (7/5): Great location and good value for money - Great location and really friendly staff - appreciated the included breakfasts every day to get us ready for a day on the slopes. The rooms were pretty cold (although we were able to remedy with a hot water bottle) and the showers also came out cold 9 times out of 10 which was rough after a day out in the snow. Would have loved as well if the sauna was available for a longer stretch of time, as it was hard to get back in time before the 6pm close after catching last lifts
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good will definitel go back if ii can line it up for the same or similar pricing i paid before. - The staff were very friendly and accommodating to requests, we also received very good pricing for our stay. Also the luggage transfers were included from the transfer station to the lodge.
- Michelle (8/5): Lovely, clean, convenient ski-in, ski-out lodge with a great Mexican bar and restaurant. - Cooroona has lovely staff, a great Mexican restaurant and bar, it has a very central, convenient location and it's really clean, simple and nice. Great breakfast and easy to get straight on the snow. Really noisy kids next door who screamed and shouted the whole night and morning. However, the flip side of that is that Cooroona is really family friendly, so you can't have both worlds!
- Kym (8/5): Very good -
- Goyena (10/5): Best value stay - Newly renovated facility, friendly and accomodating host/staff. None.
- Cara (10/5): Exceptional - amazing stay!! great rooms and view, location was perfect for skiing, staff were friendly and breakfasts included were also an added bonus:) we thought perhaps an armchair in the bedroom could have been a nice addition, but this isn’t in any way a criticism!
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gurbrinder (6/5): Pleasant - Nice view
Breakfast delicious Staff behaviour very rude specially manager
Harsh attitude
- My (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phuong (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation has been newly renovated, very clean and warm. The free breakfast includes hot meal everday with different menu each day. Location is only 1 minutes walk to the bus stop 2. All the staff are nice too, especially Amy & Lachie - the owners are very welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back. None

- Ash (10/5): Newly refurbished property positioned centrally - Newly refurbished with great amenities.lachie and co were great host.
- Chieh-en (1/5): Bad - None You can’t bring your own drinks!
- Morgan (10/5): Excellent location, low-key and delicious fare, wonderful family business. - The daily breakfasts were an absolute highlight, as well as having healthy + delicious, most well priced dinners on the mountain.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and it was great to support a local family. Some options for takeaway lunches would have been good :)
- Kayla (4/5): Disappointing -

- Marshall (7/5): Good -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pearson (6/5): Pleasant - The breakfast was great, the staff were great as well. The location was very handy
Food in the restaurant was also excellent quality simple meals. Nothing - I thought it was good value
- Chris (8/5): We enjoyed our stay here. - Good facilities in an older lodge. Small but adequate modern ensuite. Bunk beds were comfortable enough. Mexican meal was tasty. Good breakfast included. Metal rungs on ladder for top bunk access. A bit hard on bare feet!
- Georgia (9/5): Superb - A wonderful, cozy family-run lodge.
Our highlights were the open fireplace and Mexican restaurant and bar.
Easy access to snow skiing.
- Caterina (5/5): Non event - Ski in ski out Discount for poor conditions
- Frank (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (8/5): Excellent location, very clean, friendly staff and free transfer from ATS! - Breakfast is great! We stayed there for 5 nights and the breakfast was different everyday. Nil

- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): We had a great stay with Lachie and his family. A homely feel with guests and staff getting along. - Breakfast was great. Continental style options with 1 cooked option everyday usually consisting of bacon and eggs. All food was served very timely.
- Monica (1/5): 🤡🤮😷🥱🫨🙄🫣🥶🤬😢😞 - How would I describe/ review the Cooroona Alpine Lodge?
Well for $1500.00 you automatically assume that you’ll receive a warm bed, clean space and a nice area to relax; unfortunately my friends and I did not experience any of what we hoped.
Instead we experienced:
- showers that didn’t have any hot water.
- a broken shower tap which made it extremely difficult to actually shower.
- no working light in the bathroom.
- TINY room, with next to no space to actually comfortably stand (let alone do anything else).
- No view from our room.
- Basic breakfast, no real accommodation for those with allergies.
- A horrible smell that will linger on your nostrils walls.
- Next to no hospitality.
The only enjoyable moment we had from this stay was having a morning coffee but that’s the bare minimum, isn’t it.
We preferred staying out sitting at restaurants or snowboarding for longer than intended so we wouldn’t have to go back to our accommodation, because that’s how horrible it was.
People say a bed is a bed, but when it’s $1500 for two nights and it’s that shit you’d rather sleep in your car.
I highly recommend booking anywhere else, this place is not worth a cent.
It actually had us reconsider cutting our trip short, so utterly disappointed.
- Kevin (3/5): Not comfortable and will not stay there again. - The location was great.
Breakfast was good. The room condition was poor. Should maintain it better. Squeaky floor boards and door hinges!
Didn’t feel we are welcomed. If you don’t know the host personally, better find somewhere else.
- Piromalli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rose (10/5): All of above - Absolutely LOVED staying here!! Not our first time to Falls Creek but our first time staying here and will every time from now on. Perfect location central to everything, very comfortable room with en-suite, amazing breakfast included, tea and coffee available all day, lounge area with fire place, fantastic dinner available with legendary $10 slushies, very affordable pricing., Lachie picked us up and dropped us off on arrival and departure, literally couldn’t ask for more. Love love love this place! Leaving it to go home
- Simon (8/5): Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast was also very good! - Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast was also very good!
- Juliana (7/5): Good - During our stay at Cooroona Alpine Lodge, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, which we greatly appreciated. We were quite disappointed with the beds. The mattresses were clearly worn out, and you could feel the springs, which made our sleep not comfortable at all. This was particularly disappointing given the price we paid, which was not cheap. We understand that the snow season is expensive due to high demand, but for that reason, we expect the quality to be proportional to the price. We hope that this issue can be improved for future visitors.
- Ravish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucas (10/5): Definitely will come back here - was a great place to stay which had a really nice mexican restaurant as a part of the accomodation. they also served free breakfast each morning which was really good and tasty rooms are a little small but definitely do the job, as there are sitting areas within the lodge anyway so it’s not really a problem
- Khairi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natthawut (1/5): Bad -
- Arkadianos (10/5): Great stay for the lodge feel and great for families - It was a great lodge accommodation. The first experience for us in such accommodation.
Its not 5 star accommodation but it was clean and it has a great location. It has a great vibe with a brilliant restaurant and bar facilities and great atmosphere in the restaurant/bar area with families present making us feel relaxed and welcome.
Lachie and his team were very attentive. We loved not having to wait outside in the cold or driven around to other accommodations for our luggage transport to and from the resort base as private transport is free for your stay. We felt safe on a cold and icy day as the other transport was sliding around on the ice in front of us.
Would definitely return not much

- Knp (8/5): Great Stay with Friendly Service and Excellent Location - I recently stayed at Coroona Alpine Lodge for 6 nights with 6 friends and overall, it was a great experience. The rooms were clean, and the modern bathroom design was a pleasant surprise. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the main ski lifts and restaurants, or one bus stop away by shuttle.
Lachie and his team were friendly and accommodating, which made our stay enjoyable. The complimentary laundry service and over-the-snow tow luggage transfer were helpful additions. After a long day on the slopes, the sauna was a nice way to relax.
The attached Mexican restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices. The lounge area was a nice space for board games and intense chess matches when the weather wasn't ideal for skiing or snowboarding.
The continental breakfast was a solid start to each day, though it could have had a bit more variety. Overall, Coroona Alpine Lodge provided a great stay. N/A!
- Kym (7/5): Good - The service was quick, the staff were friendly
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Great breakfast each morning and the location worked well.
- Ella (7/5): Lovely met expectations. - Friendly staff, games in the lounge room. Mattress could have been more comfortable.
- Elisa (10/5): Great stay in a family friendly lodge - Lachie was a fab host- from picking us up at the transfer area, to making sure we got to our ski lessons in time when we arrived.
Loved the lounge area, very relaxed. Room felt a bit cool, although bedding was warm enough
- Annette (8/5): Convenient for short stay in Falls Creek, helpful staff. - Central position walk toall sites we needed.
Excellent breakfasts Found it cold at night could have done with an extra blanket. Room lock was difficult to open
- Johnny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amrinder (1/5): Enter room and cancel the booking straight away - Room too small no lock on toilet can’t eat or drink in the room smelly rooms not suitable for family with kids old oil heater which burn the oxygen in room
Rude Staff rooms have bunk beds only no double single or beds overall never ever book there
- Glaisa (10/5): It was indeed a lovely time. - It’s the best view, best location and lovely people. Nothing.
- Rinat (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Erick (9/5): Superb -
- Buxton (10/5): Great experieince and would definitaly come back. - The homemade breakfast a total stand out - we loved the granola and chia seed.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
Great value for money. The rooms were a little small if you had a lot of gear with you.
- Cathy (8/5): Great location with friendly people - The hosts were lovely. It was very relaxed and the breakfasts were yummy. We went to the Feastival Falls Creek, so the location was fantastic.
