• Masataka (10/5): 自然探訪の行事参加がお勧め - 駒ヶ岳は見えませんでしたが、周辺の山に朝日があたり、南アルプスの影か変化が一様でなく、趣ある日の出でした。 　朝食は十分な品質と量で楽しめます。自然探訪の行事としてムササビと星空があります。ホテルの直ぐ横でムササビの飛行を見られました。案内の人は素晴らしく、自然保護に情熱のある方でした。 　ホテルに車を停めて、真前のバス停から、自家用車乗り入れ禁止の千畳敷カール、駒ヶ岳まだ行けます。

• Daichi (10/5): - I recently stayed at Komagane Kogen Resort Linx, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in quick and seamless. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The view from the window was stunning, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot spring. The onsen was well-maintained, with crystal-clear, soothing water at the perfect temperature. The serene setting made it the ideal place to unwind after a long day. There were both indoor and outdoor options, allowing me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while soaking in the warm, mineral-rich water. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of fresh and well-prepared dishes. The overall service was top-notch, and every staff member I encountered was polite and eager to help. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with comfortable accommodations and an amazing hot spring experience, I highly recommend Komagane Kogen Resort Linx. I will definitely be returning in the future!

• Hope (9/5): The best place I stayed in Japan - Super staff Superb outdoor onsen, magical forest view lit up at night with a trickling stream and fauna to match, you won't be disappointed. Could stay for hours waiting for the squirrel box to have a head poke out lol. The water is 41 to 42. The rooms have character and charm and whilst not spanking new are nicer for it. They are large and have a seating and table area too. Lovely mountain views come with many rooms. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, always something for everyone and nice vibe. The chefs were friendly and accommodating to dietary needs. Very professional and great quality and variety. Was the best place I stayed in 5 weeks and 25 hotels in Japan. The bus to take you up the mountain stops literally outside the hotel. They have flying squirrels although they didn't show for me! This side of Komagane is likely why you came to this area for mountains and onsen and decent food and peace. It's like a small little alpine village area and there are a couple of soba noodle places and pizzeria too but the hotel food is excellent. They are rebuilding the big lake which I imagine will make the whole area even nicer. It was very quiet (Early Decemeber). Three blinds/curtains. Simple, unobtrusive air con. Lighting is great when you insert the rod lol ;-) Vending machines. Alcohol sanitiser everywhere. Lovely Yukata. I'd love to go back in summer and make the summit which was a crampon affair in December! It's one of those gem hotels which get most of their revenue from weddings and functions and so staying in off peak times means all the service and few people. I didn't even bother with the public onsen down the road (it's the same water source) They also have cold filtered Okayama coral water in the onsen which isn't always the case! You can buy the bus and ropeway ticket from reception :) Tonnes of parking. Free welcome coffee and a nice little souvenir shop to boot! Breakfast finishes at 9am. They do have a large lounge area however.

• Lorraine (10/5): Met all my expectations - The resort is near Suganodai Bus Centre, the starting point where you can catch the bus to the ropeway station, which takes you to Senjojiki Cirque. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast has a good spread. Dinner buffer (extra cost) was good as well. Free transportation from Komagane JR station to the resort was great as well.
• Tamsin (8/5): Lovely location, with a bus stop just outside to go to cable car for Mt Komagatake. - Breakfast was good, staff helpful, onsen lovely, view from hotel room brilliant. Room felt a little dated, beds/pillows were the least comfortable in the 7 different places we stayed. We didn't check in until 5 and were told there were no places left for dinner..... we were directed to a great local restaurant though.

Also nice Onsen We went to the parking lot at night to look for the flying squirrel but a waiter told us we had to join the paid tour (500yen) to stay there. The beds are a bit too hard

• ナオミ (10/5): - 5回目のリピートです。高原の中にあるホテルでロケーションは最高です。特に紅葉の時期はとても景色が素晴らしい。 夕食のバイキングのレベルはかなり高いです。 ムササビを見たり、星空の散歩ツアーなど楽しめるイベントもあります。スタッフさんの接客もとてもよいです。
• Amir (9/5): Great place to explore Senjōjiki Cirque - Located in a beautiful area, and easily accessible from komagane train station, the bus to/from the ropeway stop just outside the hotel, very useful before/after going to Senjōjiki Cirque and mount Kiso-komagatake. The stuff were very welcoming and friendly, the onsen baths, especially the outdoor one, were great, and the food was delicious, shining light on the local "apple pig". The room was specious and comfortable. There seem to be some problems with the lighting in the room, some of the switches didn't work, and the room quite dark

Breakfast lacks variety. It is also quite difficult to communicate our requests to the staff as they do not speak much English.

• Hui (10/5): Great female receptionist at check-in counters - The femal receptionist were excellent. We stayed for 2 weeks and they immediately recognised us and catered to our every needs. The male receptionists at the check-in were not very helpful. The breakfast staff, young female and male waiters were extremely rude to us and chased us away. Breakfast was the same throughout the 10 days of our stay which on the last few days we skipped. The eggs were also not fresh which was horrible for a standard japanese breakfast. The bread was also sub par.
• Guat (9/5): Would stay again - 1. I enjoyed the outdoor onsen looking at the green forest outside 2. The buffet dinner was really nice 1. I wish there is basket in the onsen for throwing used towels instead of needing to take them back to the room 2. As mentioned in other post, the light in the room is dim, and the the pillow is too soft for me. 3. Since the dinner was nice, I had high expectation for breakfast but it turned out to be so so.

• Hui (7/5): Great location, amenities needs improving - Great location onsen was superb. Ice machine and laundry on each floor. Staff did not top up the amenities throughout the stay even though it was half empty when I checked in. Breakfast staff was horrible and racist.I believe they are contract staff employed by the hotel. They were extremely rude to us as we were foreigners, chasing us away when breakfast ended at 9am on the dot. The next day there were a group of locals and stayed till 9.07am but still the staff did nothing to chase them away.They treated the locals much better, greeting them and clearing their empty plates very quickly. The receptionist at the check-in counters were very professional, no complaints.

• Kiyoshi (8/5): - Everything else was excellent except its bathroom, rather small and its floor is slanted for water flow. The room came with the great view of mountains of Komagatake. Within walking distance to various attractions including famous Kozenji temple. The only reason I gave the rating of 4 is because of its bathroom.
• Siang (7/5): Good experience at a resort hotel which is family friendly. - Location was not bad. Breakfast was very good. Glad to see many families with kids lodging here. Parking was adequate. Wifi was weak and inconsistent in our room. Room lighting was not quite bright enough.

• Neil (8/5): Great location with excellent breakfast - - Dinner was OK - Breakfast was excellent - The lobby and restaurant were clean, spacious and they even had a free welcome coffee or tea drink - The staff was very friendly - The surroundings of the hotel is superb. Close to the bus station that goes to the ropeway and a beautiful, serene park with a nice pond right next to the hotel - Dinner was way too expensive. Sure, food was good but not worth 6000yen. - Beef was more often than not cold, even though they prepare it right there. They need to put the meat on a warm/hot plate when people pick it up - The beds were not comfortable at all. Plus, even though we booked a room with 1 big bed, they put us in a room with two single beds. - The rooms were extremely badly lit as well. Very dark. Window was there, but right in front of a forest, so even in the morning it was dark

• Verified traveler (8/5): 全体的には満足 - 全体的に高評価です。 ビュッフェについても料金に見合うだけの対価はあると思います。（とはいえホテル料金ではありますが。） サービスについてもビジネスホテル程度の期待値だったので特に不満はないのですが、3日間の滞在中に二組の常連（もしくは上位ルーム宿泊）のチェックイン/アウトに遭遇し、スタッフの対応及びその対応にかける人数のあまりの違いに格差を感じました。 ホテル側からすれば常連に対して違いを感じさせるのがホスピタリティ経営の最適解だとは思うのでなんとも言えません… 立地は千畳敷カールに向かう人にとってはかなりよいロケーションです。 バスの乗り場が菅の台バスセンターの一つ手前なので、行列に並ばずに済みます。 臨時バスは菅の台バスセンター止まりや始発だったりしますが歩いて10分もかからないのでその場の判断で臨機応変に対応できます。
• YUJI (10/5): 温泉が気に入りました - 静かな立地でアクセスも良く好印象です。 マイナス面は、空調が各部屋でコントロールできず、風呂のシャワーカーテンが少し匂う、部屋が裏側だったので眺望は全くなかった事です。 立地以外で良かったのは、温泉の雰囲気がとても良かったです、曜日的に客が少なく暗い雰囲気の大浴場を独り占めできて映画の一場面のようでした。

• JUN (10/5): 初秋の高原の夜を堪能 - 高原の雰囲気の中で、ウェディング施設もあり格式を感じるとても素敵なホテルでした。バイキングですが料理も一流。ワインにとても詳しいウエイターさんのお勧めの地元産赤ワインでディナーを堪能しました。宿泊代金もリーズナブルで大満足。また訪れたいホテルです。

• セーラ (7/5): Secluded resort with excellent meals and a comfortable onsen, located in the grandeur of nature. - The natural beauty of the local alps, as well as the nearby walking paths through blooming cherry trees and rushing rivers was absolutely stunning. At night, the resort was remote enough to see a sky full of stars on a cloudless night. Since the property is in a more remote area, there were less things to do (not many restaurants, cafes, shops, museums). There were also a lot of closed resorts and chalets, either seasonally or permanently.
• Mike_k. (9/5): Superb - Great location, clean comfortable room, friendly stuff trying their best to help us, dinner buffet was great and had some nice wine. The receptionist helped us so much. They were so good with us. Also on our way to the hotel, a lady that is working in the kitchen and she was also going to the hotel, found us pulling our luggage. Without us asking, she offered herself to drive us and that was really really polite and good for us. We loved her. Thank you so so much! The baths are fantastic. There is a small pool outside and it is inside a terrace which is carefully constructed so that is attached to the forest. Fantastic!!! And there is an espresso machine opposite the reception and in front of the elevator. That is a very important set up. The dinner was somewhat overpriced. Beds are hard for us.

Well-maintained and comfy. - Very good location, close to a number of location attractions (Kozenji Temple, Lake, Mountain trails) + highly rated local restaurants. The Onsen was nice too. Easy to find. The hotel also offers guided tours to see Flying Squirrels in the evening. It's not a brand-new hotel but well-maintained. Front-desk staff spoke sufficient English to make it work for non-Japanese speakers. Would stay again.
