• Lexie (10/5): - Wayan and his family are so welcoming, kind and helpful! The location amazing as described - feels like a jungle oasis in the middle of the city. Especially perfect to be able to walk and be close to everything you need just a few minutes walk away. So happy I wasn't right in the middle of Ubud where it's so chaotic. Bed was so comfortable and clean dnd the breakfast was absolutely incredible!! Best of I've had at a homestay. And so great to have a dip in the pool and cuddles with Wayan's gorgeous little pups. Thank you for having me. 🙂 Nothing of note. Great value and memorable stay.

Es wurde beim Frühstück sogar auf meine Glutenunverträglichkeit geachtet und ich habe ein traditionelles balinesisches Frühstück bekommen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!
• Joanne (10/5): Simply delightful - A peaceful stay in Ubud despite being very central to explore by foot. The beds were comfortable, breakfasts tasty and we were well looked after throughout our stay. The gorgeous pet dogs were an added treat! We would recommend this delightful place to stay.
• Monique (8/5): Heerlijk! - Een prachtig oud koloniaal aandoend pand, gallerijen met zitjes voor het daar geserveerde ontbijt, zijstraatje van Jn Bisma midden in de jungle. Wayan heel behulpzaam, vriendelijk, humorvol, vol verhalen. Wayan gaf aan dat hij kamers graag wil renoveren komende jaren.

• pablo (5/5): - Apartamentos cercanos al centro, pero sin ruido. Wayan es muy servicial, pero nuestra experiencia no fue muy buena. Las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear, no entiendo en qué habitaciones se han quedado los que dan más de un 7. El hotel tiene posibilidades pero necesita una gran reforma. Habitaciones con manchas de humedad en el techo, paredes desconchadas, aseo con instalaciones antiguas, en nuestro caso se escapaba aguas fecales, de la unión del inodoro con en suelo, por no tener un buen sellado, el suelo del baño se mojaba de esta agua residual porque estaba suelto, las habitaciones necesitan pintura y mantenimiento, los muebles son muy antiguos, la entrada del hotel tenía muchos enseres acumulados y cosas enmedio. Demasiada maleza en el hotel.

Pokoje przestronne i z widokiem na piękny, niezwykle bujny ogród, można poczuć się, jak w dżungli. W pokoju znajduje się wszystko czego potrzebujesz. Lokalizacja bardzo blisko do wszystkich atrakcji i centrum Ubud, a jednak masz wrażenie, że jesteś poza miastem. Gorąco polecam!

We were unfortunate to have rain throughout our stay. One night, we couldn't get out for dinner, the weather was so bad.

• Daniela (10/5): Excelenta cazare - Am stat 7 nopți in aceasta vila. Ne-am simțit extraordinar. Gazda foarte foarte prietenoasa si amabila. Am povestit mult cu Wayan. Vila are o locație foarte bună, se afla aproape de centru dar pe o alee unde nu se circula cu mașina si este foarte liniște. Gradina este superba cu plante luxuriante iar de piscina păcat ca nu am putut sa o folosim pentru ca vremea nu a ținut cu noi. Camera curata, pat comod, prosoape schimbate la 2 zile. Micul dejun a fost delicios. Am avut de ales între 4 variante. Fructele variate si sucurile foarte bune. Am primit apa zilnic 2 sticle. Per total nu avem nimic de reproșat. Ne-am simțit extraordinar, daca nu aveam rezervate in alte locuri cazări mai rămâneam.
• Leah (7/5): Great place to stay as a Bed and Breakfast - more of a home stay. - Stayed here for 3 nights with our two children. Booked two rooms. Quiet location off the main streets. Pool was great, refreshing. Host was lovely and great to chat to. We look forward to visiting his cafe that is being built on street front in the future. Some pool chairs around the pool but shady as amongst tall trees so didn’t sit around sunbathing. We felt plants overgrown so sun couldn’t get in. Down stairs room seemed to have been upgraded with new toilet/shower. Upstairs had older facilities. Hosts small dogs would bark at anyone who came into premises.
• Erin (9/5): - This beautiful little homestay and its lovely owner Wayan and his family (including 3 cute dogs!) are a pleasure. On a street parallel to the main drag of Ubud, it's far enough away from the madness of the city centre to be peaceful, but still close enough that you can walk to many nearby rice fields, warungs, and other attractions. Breakfast was delicious!

Le matin, les oiseaux vous réveillent et les écureuils sautillent de branche en branche . La chambre est très spacieuse. Le lit est confortable, la climatisation silencieuse. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse et amabilité. La baignoire fait son office mais elle a vécu. Il manque un sèche- cheveux. L'accès ne peut se faire qu'à pied ou en scooter.

• Ine Marie (10/5): Amazing host and location for a great price, would come back! - Wayan was a great host, he made a delicious fresh breakfast every day and was very nice and accommodating in general. Communication was smooth through WhatsApp. The place had a great location in Ubud, close to the centre while still being quiet and calm. We could also walk to the monkey forest. For the price we would definitely choose Tanah Semujan again! The bathtub with shower took some time to drain, not a big issue for us but the standard of the bathroom could have been higher.

Está cerca del centro de Ubud y hay bastante vida cerca del alojamiento. El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien. Las instalaciones están descuidadas, hay bastante humedad y le hace falta mantenimiento.

• Varvara (10/5): В целом нам всё понравилось! - Пребывали в отеле с 13.06.2025г. по 16.06.2025г. Казалось бы, такого не представляется возможным, свернуть в глубь с основной улицы и оказаться в тишине и покое, утопающего отеля в джунглях, в центре Убуд. Красивый бассейн, утром, перед завтраком, можно отлично поплавать и проснуться. Хозяева встретили радушно, всегда были на связи. Завтраки включены, три варианта на выбор, нам очень понравился завтрак с авокадо тост, готовит хозяин, вкусно и из качественных продуктов, свежевыжатый ананасовый сок, фрукты, ананасы очень вкусные, пожалуй самые вкусные, которые мы попробовали на Бали. Презентом от хозяина был десерт из премиального чёрного риса с кокосовым молоком, это очень вкусно! В номере есть всё необходимое: полотенца для душа и бассейна, гель для душа/шампунь, зубные щетки, холодильник, чайник, кофе заварной и растворимый, чай, сахар. Всё чисто и комфортно! Кто не готов к природе джунглей и встрече с разными насекомыми, то стоит задуматься над отдыхом такого формата, но, если вы всё же хотите оказаться в сердце природы, то вам сюда! В номере нет фена и утюга, но для нас это не было проблемой, так как мы имеем мини формат своего.
• Jaqueline (8/5): - Lage war super. Aus dem Apartment raus, einen kleinen Weg entlang. Schon ist man auf der Straße, auf der es viele Restaurants und Bars gibt. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Der Gastgeber super lieb. Ganz entspannt per whatsapp schreiben, was man zum Frühstück haben möchte und um wie viel Uhr. Frühstück gibt's direkt vors Zimmer gebracht. Sehr lecker und frisch gemacht. Kaffeetrinker sollten ihren eigenen Kaffee mitbringen, da es vor Ort eventuell nur schwarzen Kaffee gibt und vielleicht zu wenig.

• Anja (10/5): When staying in Ubud again would definitely come back <3 - Very good setting to rest after a long day exploring the city - with a pool and a beautiful garden, quiet but at the same time very close to the downtown area. 15-20 mins walk to many touristic destinations. I stayed on the 2nd floor and woke up to birds singing. Staying three nights I had three different breakfast choices from the menu and everything was so tasty - like eating in a restaurant. Wayan was also super helpful with requests for trips or transfers and easily available via WhatsApp or around the house.

Quiet location, nice jungle view and the best breakfast I had in two months traveling in Bali. The location is very central, making everything within walking distance. Yet, there was no noise from the streets or restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. Ideal place to stay in Ubud. While the homemade breakfast is top quality, the cleaning has some room for improvement.

• Jannick (10/5): Séjour à Ubud - L'accueil de notre hôte. Un petit paradis, un havre de paix, très très calme et reposant dans un écrin de verdure tropicale au centre d'Ubud. Le matin vous prenez le petit déj sur la terrasse avec les chants des oiseaux qui dansent au-dessus de la verdure et les écureuils qui jouent dans les arbres. A proximité de très bons warungs, restaurants, lieu de massage et 800m à pieds des rizières d'Ubud et du grand palais. C'était génial 👍et breakfast au choix. . Rien à dire.

• Andrew (10/5): - This is a little oasis in the centre of Ubud. Set down a side lane, the homestay has a peaceful garden and pool area, which is a great escape from hectic Ubud. The room we had was large and clean, with a big comfortable bed. The balcony over looking the garden was great for relaxing. The breakfast was good. We had the avocado and scrambled eggs and fresh fruit most days, which was delicious. The owner, Wayan, and his wife made us feel really welcome and also helped us with taxi transfers and tour suggestions.

• Petar (10/5): Убуд е прекрасен - Много големи, просторни и уютни стаи с климатик, с разкошна веранда, с идеално поддържана буйна зелена растителност в имота, придаваща усещането, че човек се намира в облагородена джунгла, обхванала статуи от античен храм. Басейнът е много приятен за освежаване след дългите дневни обиколки. Закуската беше перфектна, включваща и 5-6 вида плод, както и прясно изцеден джус. Много добър WiFi. С удоволствие бихме отседнали отново тук. Wayan, благодарим ти за топлия прием, за твоята отзивчивост, за положителната енергия, която излъчваш.
• Tatyana (10/5): Отличный гостевой дом - Чистый номер, удобная кровать, крутой бассейн, зелёная территория, прям находишься как в джунглях. Отель находится в тихом переулке, но недалеко от центра. На улице рядом очень много кафешек на разный вкус, спа, обменников и магазинов. Очень понравились хозяева, очень приветливые и душевные.

Le gérant est vraiment très accueillant et à l'écoute. Un très bon petit déjeuner servie sur le balcon. La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipé, le lit confortable rien à redire.

Great location, beautiful rooms and wonderful guest. Also the price is so affordable and Wayan makes breakfast everyday! He was so accomodating to us as vegans too. Overall, cannot recommend enough and will definitely be coming back to stay again!

• LP (9/5): Nice stay in Ubud - We had a nice stay. Very clean and spacious room. Very good WiFi for digital nomads. We loved the breakfast.
• Blanka (9/5): We had a lovely time - This property has the best breakfast, we stayed in 3 places while in Bali, but Wayan served the best one. The wifi connection and internet speed was great, the communication with the host was very easy. From the pictures you can see that the rooms are not modern, but they are clean (the bathroom could take a renovation). If you are not for the lux, then totally recommend the place, good and cheap massage places near the apartment, restaurants, warungs, walkable distance the center street and the monkey forest. Btw: the pool looked clean, but we didn't had time to try it. If the toilet seat could be changed, it would enhance the bathroom.
• David (9/5): Fantastic holiday break - Facilities were excellent, close to night-life area but far enough away not to be intrusive. All the tours were close so not in Bali traffic for hours. The owner Wayne was excellent, always helpful and cheerful, can't say enough. Only the journey back to the airport to be leaving definately will be back.
• Iván (10/5): Insuperable relación calidad precio - Nos ha encantado todo. Localización, en el centro pero totalmente aislada del sonido. Rodeado por un jardín de plantas increíbles y selváticas. Totalmente limpio, te cambian las toallas. La piscina es muy bonita y relajante. Los desayunos son increíbles con 4 opciones y todas super ricas. Te lo traen a la habitación muy puntual a la hora que le hayas pedido. Además los dueños son encantadores y todos los días se preocupan por ti y como van tus vacaciones. Relación calidad precio insuperable. Por su puesto, no ha habido nada negativo, todo ha sido perfecto.
• Rene (10/5): Central location, but peaceful and quiet - Everything great, the room is big, with plenty of space, the pool is nice, clean, the breakfast is very delicious. The owners are kind and ready to help. They have 3 little cute dogs 🥰

• Jana (8/5): Netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, tolle Lage und bestes Frühstück. Ich komme wieder. :) - Mit das beste Frühstück auf der Reise. Es gab frischen Saft, oder Kokusnuss, ein sehr leckeres Avocado Brot, Obst und immer frisches Wasser. :) Die Möbel sind etwas dunkel gewesen, aber das ist ja Geschmacks Sache. :)
• Helen (8/5): Secluded hideaway in the middle of Ubud - A traditional style Balinese hotel with only a few rooms which were spacious and had a fridge and coffee making facilities. We loved the large terrace which overlooked a spectacular garden. Wayan our host prepared a beautiful breakfast for us every morning. The hotel was quiet and secluded and just a three minute stroll to all that Ubud had to offer. Looking a little tired but still a good place to stay

The owner is such a kind and helpful person - always ready to assist with anything, including organizing transport and excursions, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling, with fresh juices that we loved. Our room was clean and comfortable, with housekeeping almost every day and fresh towels provided regularly. The hotel has a beautiful green area, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return. Thank you again for your hospitality! 🙏
