• Eddie Jarvis (8/5): Excellent value for money - For a budget sleep not far the airport, this was a very good choice. It ticked the main boxes and it was easy to find for a ride to the airport. A definite highlight is the very good 24-hour restaurant across the road, so whatever time you arrive and depart you can have a proper meal in nice surroundings, and even a midnight feast. Nothing to not like for this price range.
• Syaza (5/5): - the hotel has airport transfer and its location is very near to the airport. okay for short stay to wait for the flight the location is a bit quiet for a hotel esp if you’re arriving at night. those who travel alone consider twice before staying. the hotel don’t have lift, you have to go up the stairs so if you’re bringing large/multiple suitcases you have to carry all that on the stairs

Hôtel parfait pour une nuit de transit, à proximité de l'aéroport, restaurants aux pieds de l'hôtel. La literie est confortable, douche chaude et chambre propre malgré la présence de petites fourmis mais nous sommes dans un pays tropical donc les petites bêtes sont là 😉 Rien

• Tabitha (10/5): Kind and Friendly Staff at Hotel EC Doubke Star - My third, and definitely not last visit to this hotel, mainly down to the really kind and helpful staff - thank you to Sofi and his colleagues. Close to the airport, a safe option for single female travellers, the room has everything I need for a comfortable night's stay. The hotel organised a taxi to and from the airport for me, so I knew whom I was travelling with. Free tea, coffee and water in reception, hot shower, air con and comfortable bed. Nothing, no traffic noise this time, and I discovered a supermarket 2 minute's walk away.

Thanks again Maroof for your hospitality! - I would like to especially thank Maroof for going well beyond the expectations to ensure that my experience was smooth. He even lent me his personal mobile charger for the duration of my stay, which was a saver for me! You may need to drag your bags across the stairs, which is not an issue if you do not have heavy bags. There's also shortage of restaurants in the area. But all these are not deal breakers as most guests are here for short periods / layover..

It is very cheap, and you get what you pay for. - no food available at hotel. but food market close by. no lift to upstairs room, shower leaked all night, room had very basic furniture, tv only played middle eastern / Asian programmes and could not be retuned to other services, noisy location with 24/7 restaurant next door, door lock was not very secure, paint was pealing from walls.

Large comfortable room, hot shower, water and hot drinks available in reception makes a very comfortable stay. Staff are great; polite, helpful and friendly. Busy road, outside, a bit noisy.

• Tabitha (9/5): A Great Find. - I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, which I booked for it's convenience to the airport. Staff very friendly and helpful; organised taxis to and from the airport for me and will print my boarding pass. Especial thanks to Maaruf who is so welcoming and kind. Room suits me fine: very comfy bed, aircon, adequate lighting, great shower, clean bedding and a large soft towel. Hot and cold water provided in Reception, free coffee and tea,plus snacks and cold drinks to buy. There's a restaurant next door which I didn't visit because I'm vegetarian. I always carry earplugs with me thst cancelled out any noise. For the price, and the lovely staff, it's a winner for me. Nothing. As far as I'm concerned, it's perfectly adequate.

I warned the staff that I would arrive between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. but unfortunately I arrived later, which can happen. I still asked him to give me the hotel entry code because check in was at 12:00 p.m. maximum, he told me that I had to call him when I arrived at the hotel. I called him but never got an answer. The gentleman waited until 3.00 am supposedly and left without leaving me the access codes because there was a box for the keys and access code at the hotel, but he sent me the wifi code, absurd and useless. So the gentleman went to sleep at home without any scruple or carelessness. I stayed up all night in a restaurant that was open 24/7 right next door at 8 a.m., a small young receptionist who worked there and slept there, opened the hotel and was not at all aware of my arrival therefore no communication to facilitate the arrival of the customer. He offered to let me do a minute check out until 2pm maximum. On the way out I met the guy I spoke with via WhatsApp. Audacity in person with an equal and a most ridiculous pride. He told me that it was Also my fault because I didn't arrive at the time I had announced and that he was human and should sleep and rest. Bravo for the professionalism. so for all those who arrive after 12pm for x reason because in life we ​​don't control everything, anything can happen I advise you not to stop at this hotel. Not human, not professional or empathetic or accommodating or anything at all. Thank you for my worst experience in my entire road trip in malaysia.
