• Hussein (1/5): Absolutely dreadful and could not have been worse. - The property itself The fact that we were told that as we were arriving after midnight the door would be left open. However, on arrival the door was LOCKED with no lights on and absolutely no way of getting it open. We had no local cell phone cover, or email having just arrived from New Zealand. We banged and banged on every door and window for several minutes. My wife (81 years old) suffers from high anxiety and I feared another panic attack any second. Eventually we were able to wake a guest who came out and showed us the internal door to our room, which was left open. Of course we could not access it from outside the building. We then realised that there was a hall door with a keypad. Had the landlord told us of it and the code we would at least have been able go access our room. Even more annoying was that the landlord did not reply to any of my messages about our dilemma. He said nothing until we saw him another day and did not immediately apologise. He said he was sorry but couldn’t explain it I explained that had the quest not been home we would have been destitute with no possibility of getting alternate accommodation or even contacting Uber. He said if we continued banging eventually his 2 dogs would have alerted him. Well they didn’t and we doubt he even lives at the property. I was livid that his attitude was so lackadaisical, even seeing that my wife and I are both in our very senior years. The landlord said we could contact him any time, but gave no contact details. We never saw him again. I shudder to this day to think what would have come of us after midnight in the cold dark of another country lying on concrete. In all our years we have NEVER been unable to access our accommodation wherever we have traveled. This is the most disgusting treatment and attitude we have and hope never to experience again. The landlord never even turned up to apologise showing he appreciated the gravity of the situation when we were leaving-that is how much he cared a fat zero
• Lance (10/5): Excellent and very relaxing - Everything was excellent Paul and Sue were so nice and helpful they showed us everything in our room when we arrived they have a huge communal kitchen with everything in it and a lovely covered outdoor area plus a cute gazebo for 2 All you have to do is bring yourself as everything is provided. Close to Chinese restaurant 2 minutes away IGA and fish and chips 5 minutes away which is on the beach front. No need to go overseas it’s only 40 minutes from Perth. We stayed 4 days and really enjoyed it 15 stars out of 10 Nothing they had everything to perfection
• Greg (9/5): As above - We chose the PBGH for its excellent location first - a pleasant stroll to the great facilities of Rockingham. We were cheered to find that our suite was very well appointed and in excellent taste - facility-wise and colour balance; very comfortable and relaxing. We were further happy to find a far greater range of facilities than we needed were available if we wished - communal kitchen, entertainment area, garden and patio area. Our hosts were extremely helpful, providing above and beyond with any requests we might bring - and in a warm and willing manner. We would recommend PBGH and would be more than happy to visit again. Nothing to dislike here : )

Spacious suite with absolutely everything we needed. Beautiful tranquil garden to sit in. Two gorgeous dogs live there. We loved them. Best guesthouse we’ve stayed in, ever.

Common place big with all facilities you can wish for. Room itself was fresh and new. Also private small fridge in room; but for bigger stuff the common kitchen with washing machine. Good WiFi connection. Nothing to mention :-) all good!

Paul was really welcoming and showed us around when we arrived, and helped us out with all queries. We used the kitchen a lot for cooking which is really well equipped. They even provide the flippers for snorkelling which is great. Definitely recommended! Nothing really, it has exceeded all our expectations.

And communal areas even bigger. Gorgeous garden and an outside gazebo/patio. Full quality amenities offered. Total kitchen facilities to use. Owners Paul & Sue are such a lovely couple who are easy going and very accommodating to your needs or special requests. Nothing is too much trouble. They offer great advice from the area and are great company for a chit chat and a laugh. Their beautiful Cavoodles George and Elsie are such wonderful pets and I loved their company. Walking distance to the bus stop, IGA and the foreshore. Highly recommend this beautiful guest house as your home away from home. Nothing not to like.
