Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): - Fantastic local and really cared about helping
- Alisha (10/5): - Very comfortable spacious room. Bed was great, host was attentive and helpful. Air con was appreciated.
- Katherine (8/5): - Note that this property is not a hotel — there is no reception. However, the staff member gave us her phone number and kindly arranged an early-morning taxi for us. There is a lift up one floor to the rooms. Our room was large — it was set up to sleep 4 people. The bathroom was private but not en suite. We were informed about the bathroom before booking, and it wasn’t a problem. The bathroom could be improved a bit — brighter lighting, repair of sink faucet — but no unusual problems for an old building. The location was very convenient.
- Yujiro (4/5): - Toilet and bath rooms from other rooms were very noisy and could not sleep until late
- Iwona (8/5): - We enjoyed the stay. However, it would have been useful to be warned about the noise coming from the builders early in the morning.
The bathroom was outside the room, but it dod not bother us as it was private. The towels would need to be updated . They did not look good.
- Andy (10/5): Great Room in an Amazing Location - Casamore has nice spacious rooms; clean and well furnished. There was a table and two chairs so we had lunch early & an evening picnic meal in the room on the nights we went to the opera. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpfull. The location is ideal for all the main sights in the city. Just 5 minutes away from the Arena on foot. The railway station, with the airport bus and railway to Lake Garda, etc is 20 to 30 minutes on foot, but an easy level walk. For advice to fellow travellers:- Contact with the hosts is very easy by WhatsApp, especially useful if you are checking in late. The formalities of Id check and local taxes are done at the visitors convenience. The shared kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge for drinks and snacks, oven, microwave, kettle, glasses, cutlery, etc. Some rooms have a separate bathroom so pack casual shorts and a tshirt for the short walk across the corridor. The electrical sockets were a bit of a puzzle. It seems Italy has a couple of standards, but if you have the wrong adapter the 2 local supermarkets are well stocked and each adapter is less than €5.
We highly recommend Casamore Rooms. When we chatted with Ilaria about going to the opera she very kindly offered to lend us 2 cushions because we were in the 'hard seats' and dropped them off to the room. She also recommended very good, inexpensive places to eat and to visit. That kind of consideration made a special holiday even better 😊🙏
- Sebastian (10/5): My wonderful stay at Casamore Rooms - I had a great stay at Casamore Rooms. It's close to a supermarket, to the Arena, restaurants, nightlife. I wholeheartedly recommend it. 😊👌
- Kathryn (10/5): - It’s a bit of a walk from the station on uneven pavement. Once there I was met at the door and there’s a lift to the room. My room was lovely, cool making it easy to sleep. The bathroom is private but across from the room so if you need to get up on the night it might not be so good. There are shops nearby and there is a kettle and microwave if you want to save money on food. You’re really close to all the tourist sights. I would stay again if visiting Verona
- Arianna (10/5): Perfect for a trip to the Arena - Very spacious room, nice and comfortable, with ample private bathroom.
All possible facilities available.
There is also a shared kitchen that can be used by all guests.
Very kind and helpful host.
Ideal central position, perfect for an arena night.
- chandrawatie (8/5): - Wonderful property. Clean and close to everything... walking distance.
- Jorge (8/5): - Nice room
Very nice host
Only drawback was the bathroom location, which was private but outside the room
- Christopher (4/5): - Our room did not lock properly. It was clear from the staff person’s reaction that management was aware of this problem and had not fixed it. They had the audacity to propose that the solution was that we should avoid leaving any personal items in the room. I responded that proposal was ridiculous—we are here to see the opera; was I supposed to take my laptop with me to the venue? They then offered the equally ridiculous response that we did not have to worry that our room did not lock because they knew the other guests. I responded that we did not know the other guests and did not feel comfortable just taking the staff’s word regarding their reliability.
The staff then fiddled with the door and after some time was able to find a way to jigger it to close. When trying to show me how to do it, they asked me to force the key, which I know is a terrible idea. I was unable to lock the door reliably, but my wife was able to do so with some effort if she ignored what the staff said and pushed slightly up or down on the handle. This exercise wasted forty-five minutes of our time.
The claim that the room has air conditioning is utter nonsense. The only air conditioning is a unit above the main entrance, which is is two rooms away. The only way we could benefit from what little cooling it would provide would be by leaving our door open and unlocked at night.
There is no exterior signage showing the name of the property or number, which makes the property very hard to find.
- Angela (10/5): - Cute little place a few blocks from Piazza Bra
- Antonietta (10/5): - Great location
- Kirsty (10/5): - Fantastic location, less than 5 minutes walk from the central tourist area and the arena. Small supermarket 100 yards away for essentials.
Very clean bedroom and bathroom.
Very good, that they also provide the ability to store bags after check out if your flight is later in the day.
They were very kind to let me have a late check in as my flight was delayed. But please watch out, check in should only be until 9.30pm as this is not a hotel, there is no front desk. It is a shared apartment.
The Bathroom is across the hallway so you may bump into others sharing the accommodation, but the bathroom is for your sole use.
Breakfast - There is a coffee machine and a fridge to store your own milk etc - luckily there is a supermarket.
Always felt safe and it is quite a straight forward walk from the train station where the airport bus stop is located.
- Raja (10/5): - Very nice room in central location. Would stay here again!
- Claudia (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay here! The room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and the private bathroom was just as large and spotless. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
The host was fantastic — always available, friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate my personal requests. I also appreciated having access to the kitchen, which had a large refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee, tea, and other essentials available to us.
The location is excellent too — within easy walking distance to the main tourist attractions, which made exploring the city so convenient. I was able to come back and rest during the day.
The only minor downside was that the toilet was a bit noisy when flushed, but this is quite common in older buildings in Italy and didn’t affect my overall experience at all.
I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
- Christine (10/5): - Adorable place! Met us on the street when we couldn’t locate the entrance (it was RIGHT in front of us). Perfect location for attending La Traviata and exploring historic Verona the next day.
- Junsoo (2/5): - Concerns Regarding this property listing
I would like to bring to your attention several issues regarding a property listed on your platform that is misleadingly marketed as a hotel.
This property is an Airbnb apartment that shares three rooms. Thus, related or unrelated three reservations can be put in the same apt. Although the website describes it as a bed-and-breakfast, it is NOT. The host argued that there are other Airbnb listings on Expedia doing the same practices, which raises concerns about transparency. I strongly urge Expedia to rectify this potentially deceptive information.
The air conditioner is not functioning properly. Although the thermostat can be set to 19 degrees, the actual temperature around it remains around 27 degrees, as shown in the attached photo. The room was uncomfortably hot, making our stay very difficult.
The host's response to the air conditioning issue was unsatisfactory. We met with her around midnight to address the issue, and it was confirmed that the AC was not cooling the room effectively, despite closing the doors. Still, she did not agree to this problem.
My group in three rooms witnessed these inadequate responses and the problem was not resolved. It was so hot in the rooms even after midnight.
- Junsoo (2/5): - This property is an Airbnb apartment that shares three rooms. On the Expedia platform, it was not written so for this property, and it gives the impression that it is a bed breakfast hotel. One can share the apt with random customers; unrelated three reservations can be put in the same apt, unlike usual Airbnb apts. I strongly urge Expedia to rectify this potentially deceptive information and make all information transparent.
The biggest issue is: The air conditioner is not functioning properly. Although the thermostat can be set to 19 degrees, the actual temperature around it remains around 27 degrees, as shown in the attached photo. The room was hot, even at midnight.
Closing room doors was suggested as a solution but it did not help. The problem was not resolved and we had to stay overnight in hot rooms. Our group had to be patient.
The apt is hard to find and the building is behind a construction / renovation site.
- Charles (8/5): - Our stay was great. Check in was a breeze after a very slight wait. The location is perfect. There were only 2 pillows in our room which made sleeping awkward for us. There is a public parking garage conveniently located across the street, but beware, the fee for 4pm - 10am was $76 euros that has to be paid in cash. If you are on the fence about visiting Verona, it is very with your time with far less crowds than other cities in Italy with a wonderful selection of activities.
- Marina (8/5): - Great location, 3 min walk from Spezia Centrale, everything was clean, close to restaurants and laundry... We thought we need air conditioning, but at night was cooler. And it's June...
- Charlotte (10/5): - Lovely room, clean and well-located.
- J Eric (10/5): - Perfect location and had everything I could need for a week long stay in Verona. Staff were very friendly and the room was kept nice and clean.
- Nicole (10/5): - The location was perfect ! The hosts were so sweet and attentive ! The room was perfect- clean, spacious, and had all the necessities. I HIGHLY recommend this place !
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved my stay - Exceptional in every way. Benedetta met me at checkin. Very thorough explanation re everything. Gave some wonderful recommendations for patisseries,Osterias, cafés. Loved my room w the canopy bed & private balcony. My only comment about the room is bed was bit too firm for me. Very convenient location! I’d stay here again.
- JOSEPH (10/5): - Great place in a great location, brilliant for couples
- Maria (10/5): - It was amazing, the staff were great, the proximity to everything was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.
- Joan Cheryl (8/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Nice spacious room with a comfortable main bed. Third single bed could do with a mattress topper. Nice common area with good facilities. Nice bathroom with hairdryer and diffuser. Stored luggage for us which was very helpful.
- Rui (10/5): - Excellent
- Maria (2/5): - DO NOT BOOK HERE! This is a scam, they didn’t show up, they stole my money, never refunded me, and had to get another hotel while I was with my kids in a city we didn’t k ow. Awful
- Maria F S (10/5): - Excelente, recomendo, só se atentar que é um apartamento, quando achar o prédio interfone no “casamore”
- Maria (8/5): - Nice property. Easy check in and location was walking distance to everything.
- Alessandra (10/5): - It took me a while to find the area. I guess I needed to see a big sign that says Casamore to know that I was at the right place. The room was very nice and well maintained. It was a very local-feel stay which I liked. You get your own bathroom but you have to come out of your room to get there, though I did not mind the steps to the bathroom. It is also very close to shops, dining spots and walkable to basically all attractions.
- Jenifer (10/5): - Super clean
- John (8/5): Two night stay in Verona - Didn’t find it easily as the entrance wasn’t clear but the hosts were absolutely lovely. They gave us plenty of recommendations for places to eat and drink, and were helpful when there was a power cut during the night.
The room was great with a large comfy bed but visiting the toilet in the night was a little awkward as our private bathroom was across a hallway…having said that we would definitely return and recommend.
- Julio (2/5): - Very Very bad place to stay.
1. The guy receiving us was not in the "best shape". He told us it was it's house, that he lived there. The first night of the 2 we booked was horrendous. We got to the apartment late and it was all dark, very creepy. There was no air conditioning, and we booked based on that. It was a central air conditioner but since "other guests were cold" it was turned off. We slept a very hot night.
2. The next morning when we woke up the front door was wide open. We felt very unsafe in that apartment.
3. The bathroom had a lot of opportunities. The bath was very narrow, I didn´t fit, and the toilet was broken. I had to put my hand into the tank to be able to flush it, very disgusting.
4. We didn´t stay the second night, we checked out and went to another hotel. It was quote a difference. We lost our money for the second night but as we didn´t felt safe it didn´t matter. I would never recommend that hotel to anyone.
5. After checking out we crossed our supposed host in the street and he was in a very bad shape. really creepy experience.
- Maria (10/5): - My stay was excellent. The staff very friendly. The room very clean with balcony. Very close to the center of Verona
- Paul (2/5): Check the score - I’ll let my ratings do the talking, as my frank and honest comments regarding this place can’t seem to pass the review rules here. Other review websites available.
- Catriona (10/5): - Quiet lodging very close to the Arena and very easy to get to all the major sights. We were welcomed by Fiore and shown directions to attractions close by. Close to good bars and cafes. Thank you
- paullei (2/5): Disgrace - There was no indication on what the check-in process was on the information provided by the premises.
We were not the only guests struggled to find the place.
There’s not a physical “front desk”, that’s misinformation. You try your luck calling the number and seeing if they decide to pick up.
In the room, the double net curtain for the bathroom window was totally inappropriate. If you like the idea of being seen by your neighbours doing your business at night, this is your place.
The place has a very quiet, sombre atmosphere akin to a convent. Accidentally made some noise closing the front door without following the host’s INSTRUCTIONS and he rushed out to tell me off. Last time I checked I was a “hotel guest”. Never been made feel so unappreciated as a customer in all of my traveling experiences. I’m a paying adult on holiday, not a kid on a school trip. The bad attitude of the host ruined my holiday.
I would go as far as saying I was disappointed Hotel.com even listed this on their website. It should come with a massive warning before you click book.
The location is central. I recommend seeking other accommodations in the area. I shan’t be going near this place ever again.
- Sierra (8/5): - It was difficult to find but after I did, had a great stay. The staff gave me good recommendations for food. Everything was close and walking distance
- Iram (10/5): - It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Amore, bed was comfortable, bathroom is private but outside the bedroom very clean and spacious.
- Lia (4/5): - This was not a good from the start. The information was not clear that it was a B&B. No sign out front and not even the taxi driver could find it. Had to call and get someone to come outside. Got there early and they did provide baggage hold service and told me the room would be ready in 1 hour. But when I came back the person cleaning the room got very upset that I was there. He started yelling at me telling me to be quiet repeatedly when I was trying to say it was OK I would come back. Clearly spoke no English. He then escalated and I felt verbally attacked and was very uncomfortable so I left. He followed me out and continued his rant and then literally was whining. Very disturbing. From there it just got worse. Toilet was not working - they did fix it. The room was extremely hot even though it said there was air conditioning. Yet my room was terribly hot. Messaged the owner and he told me where to turn it on. The test of place was cool but my room was not really.
There were others in the other rooms and at 1:00 am and they were talking loudly. There were thin walls. Oh and when they came in to fix the toilet they did not lock the door and it was literally open. Luckily I had all my valuable items with me.
All in all this was not a good experience for me and if you’re OK with all of this and no privacy then go ahead but I am not giving this place a recommendation.
- William (2/5): - Room not the same as picture shown. It was a room in an apartment with no window to the outside. It was noisy from other people staying there. Toilet needed repair.
- Peter (6/5): - The room was good as a budget-friendly means of staying in the centre of Verona. All other hotels and rooms would have cost far more. The room itself had a cosy feel and was comfortable enough for a city stay. The proprietor was also very helpful in moving us from the first room when we were disappointed that it didn’t seem as advertised and moved us somewhere much nicer. The facilities however were in need of a few repairs and there was no view from the balcony.
- Pepa (10/5): - Very clean, cozy and excellent service. I full recommend this property :) Fiorenzo is a really nice person.
- Antonine (8/5): - The rooms were larger than they appear. The bathrooms are not connected to the room but are adjacent and belong to your room and lock with a key. There is a microwave and full size refrigerator in a kitchenette for all rooms to use which was very useful. The location is steps from shopping, groceries and the Arena.
- Cinthia (10/5): - It’s a great place to stay, very spacious, clean and cozy. Great location just 10 walk to Juliet’s house. I recommend 10/10
- Les (10/5): - Beautiful men running this accommodation option. Not the kind of place we normally stay in but grateful for the experience. Reviews described difficulties finding the entrance made our experience simple. It is an appartments with intercom and a truly unique and memorable experience in all the good ways. Thanks for your fantastic hospitality.
- Y1092GZmariat (6/5): Great location, poor comunication - This is a great location to be in if you would like to stay in central Verona. The room, bathroom and kitchen clean and tidy.
We had tried contacting the owner almost a week before arrival through Agoda and via whatsapp. He asked what time we would be arriving and then said he would meet us upon arrival. When we arrived, it was lucky the housekeeper was there and she was unaware of our arrival and had to call the landlord.
The landlord turned up during the stay unannounced which was a little uncomfortable at times and we had to let people in who arrived to stay in the rooms. We whatsapp him but he didn't respond.
We asked for an iron and it was removed from our room with the table when we were out. Our privacy felt compromised and it wasn't the most relaxed stay.
- Terezia (8/5): - Excellent location in the old city , next to the arena .
The room with the own bath is big , light and clean .
Parking spaces in the next .
- Matthew John (8/5): - At first we didn’t love it because it wasn’t necessary what we were expecting. But the longer we stayed the more it grew on us due to its charm. Location was amazing and we walked everywhere. Only issue was check in/ check out process was very unorganized. Other than that we greatly enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First of all, it was extremely difficult to find the hotel. There was no instruction given on how to locate the hotel on the web, and it’s like an apartment door and took us over 30min to find the correct door. We arrived around 2:30pm with my husband, but there was no one at the hotel to check us in. I had to make an international call to find out that the guy in charge was going to be arriving in 1hr. He made us and some other guests wait outside in the scorching sun with all of our luggage. When he finally arrived, he did not apologize once, and the rooms were not even ready. The beds were super squeaky and sinked in the middle, the room had a stale smell and was old. The bathroom was smelly and the shower had two options, either too hot or too cold and never in between. The Internet was weak and spotty as well. Everything about the stay here was horrible, and way too expensive (we paid $192 for our room). Strongly advise everyone not to stay here.
- Benjamin (4/5): - A mixed bag to be honest. The check in process needs serious attention. There is more than one property that appear to be serviced by a cleaner who is also the receptionist. First it was difficult to find her, then we couldn’t find my booking which resulted in me hanging around in the lobby for an hour instead of seeing the city. The lady who assisted me was very helpful and we got there in the end. Property is good and well located, and as such is okay in terms of value for money. Sort out the arrivals process and this could be excellent.
- Marivic (6/5): - Entrance is very confusing
- Paul (8/5): - Nice--peculiar check-in. Fee for checking in late at night. Nice rooms.
- C (10/5): - The Ensuit room was fabulous. You have a pretty balcony with table and chair with plant around .
Kitchen has everything tea coffee machine snack.
Very clean . I found more than described on the site. Everything is waking distance 3-15 min.
He gave us all the information we needed .we will definitely go back.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad experience. Cancelled reservation upon arrival - We were so unsatisfied that we left the accomodation and found another hotel upon arrival in spite of a refund not being possible.
This is not a hotel room. It is a room in a shared apartment, which is not clear from the description.
Upon arrival it is not possible to find the reception that they say they have (does not seem to exist…). After calling the facility and waiting for 15 minutes to be led in, the room was not ready. Not cleaned and no bed linen.
Overall a very bad experience. Would not recommend
- Andrew (10/5): - A quick tip: we didn't contact the vendor in advance with an eta (he did ask us to on email, but we didn't see it), so checking in was difficult - this was our fault not the owner. The property was excellent and very comfortable and clean. It is situated very close to the famous Verona Piazza, I mean really well situated. The owner was very friendly and informative. Very reasonable price. Recommended.
- Fleur (10/5): Excelent place close to center. - Nice, big, clean rooms. Host is very friendly and helpful. Gave us lots of advices where to go for meals or drinks. Rooms are without breakfast, but there are plenty places just next to the place. But there is a coffee machine, free to use. The place is in very short distance from the arena and shopping streets.
I can recommend this place and I will book it again when I visit Verona again.
- Cosmin (10/5): - Very nice and well kept . Very close to all attractions and restaurants in Verona . Would highly recommend it . Will comeback
- Anders (10/5): - Me and my daughter, 20 years, on a interrailtrip. Walking distance from train station, 15 minutes, clean and spacious. No problems good sevice
- Heike (8/5): Nice and short stay in Verona - We had a nice stay in the flat. The young man was verry friendly and gave us a lot of informations. The bedroom was big enough and verry clean. Our own little bathroom was clean and OK. Thanks for a nice stay in. Verona, near the Arena.
- Declan (10/5): Not my last time! 😄 - Our host was fantastic. He couldn't do enough for us. The location was phenomenal: steps away from Piazza 'Bra.
- David (4/5): If you are on a tight budget - Not a hotel, more like a boarding house
No directions how to enter the property or even an exact location. The room was one of several in a flat with cooking for guests to share. Some guests took advantage and there was plenty of noise and cooking smells. The room seemed to be surrounded by bathrooms all of which could be heard flushing.
Location was good being near all the tourists things to do.
- Beatrice (10/5): - Friendly host and provided some great info. Would stay again.
- Helene (4/5): Warning - read this before you book a room - When we arrived, we found no sign "Casamore Rooms" and the door to nr 7 was locked. We had to google to find a telephone number and reached a cleaning lady who opened the door - but left us standing on the street while she talked to her boss on the phone. After quite some time, we were allowed to enter and were shown to our two rooms. Only one of them was like we had booked, the other one had a shared bathroom in the corridor. I talked to a lady in a neighboring room and she had had the same experience! In the room without bath the aircon did not work at all; in the room with aircon, it was too cold (there was only a general one, not separate for each room). The rooms are probably very different. I had red some positive comments before booking, but my room was not that nice (the one without bath was better). The location is very central but the street is really a back alley. The corridor, kitchen area etc were rather shabby. There was no reception, only the cleaning lady to call.
I cannot recommend this hotel. I would not book there again. We've stayed in another hotel a bit further away from the square. It was cheaper and much nicer (Lady Verona).
- Alejandro (10/5): - Very quiet place in the very center of the city. Nice accomodations and super cool host
- Charles (10/5): - Excellent location, on the edge of the ancient centre of Verona, and very reasonably priced. The hosts got in touch with me ahead of time and were very helpful with finding suitable car parking, and finding the property. We had a private room in a shared area (shared kitchen & bathrooms), but we only saw one other resident - we had it almost to ourselves. The main downside was that nearby drilling and hammering sounds started early in the morning, but I guess that was bad luck.
- Bradley (8/5): - Typical Euro B and B, without the B . Was clean, comfortable, good location for us. Its a little hard to find, no way you find it without them meeting you and taking you up. Could not get ahold of anyone by phone they used to contact us, after we arrived. Otherwise, great little place
- Paolo (10/5): ottimo - a 2 minuti dall'arena, tranquillo, pulito, un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno breve a verona. Proprietario gentile e prodigo di utili consigli. Consiglierei ad amici
- Evelyn (8/5): - Clean and comfortable. Pribvate locked bathroom across the hall. Good location
- Carl (8/5): - Very close to everything in Verona. Not far from the train station I came in on.
I didn't like the washroom separate from my room but everything was clean and quiet. Not fancy but very nice and a reasonable price as well.
- Vincenzo (10/5): - Excellent
- Doug (8/5): - Was a very comfortable room and bed. I was lucky to have my own washroom and not have to share like other guests. Wanted to check in early to drop off my bag and was told I could. But once I got to the property there was nobody to meet me or no direction or information on how to contact anybody once I arrived there but all in all was a great stay and slept very well the night I stayed there
- Childrenx (8/5): Great location - Double bedroom with separate private bathroom. Clean but decor quite dated. Lovely shared kitchen to make only tea or coffee. There is a separate communal living room. Room TV had many channels, YouTube and Netflix (pay for movie) . Great location, 20 minutes walk from Verona train station and Arena.
- Andrew (8/5): - Great location and clean room. No complaints about the property. Only issue was the management. Nobody was there to check us out in the morning. Needed up having to call and dude that answered the phone clearly was just waking up. Other than that our room was exactly as listed and so was the bathroom although not connected to the room. If you are trying to do Verona on a budget definitely worth a look but also the service isn’t great so keep that in mind.
- Ana Maria (10/5): Nice place to stay for a night or two in Verona - Relaxing one -night stay before train 🚄. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Would stay again. 👍 🏨 🛏️
- KarinaB92 (10/5): Family holiday - I can't recommend this accommodation enough.
Amazing host, beautiful apartment , close to most attraction Verona has to offer.
restaurants and cafes a few minute walk as well as the buses.
clean, affordable, very spacious, and a very warm welcome.
If you are visiting Verona, this place is the place to stay at
- Gouri (6/5): - The location is the key factor in this property. It's really central.
The rooms are basically in an apartment building. You need the key to enter the building and then one to get into the main apt, and then one for your room (and your bathroom).
The room itself is fine, however you do share the climate control with the rest of the apartment and the other rooms. Also, it's very easy to hear your neighbors.
The big issue is the key pick up and the luggage storage. You gotta arrange a time to pick up the keys, and hope there is someone who is around to give it to you. Total problem if your phone doesn't work. Also there is no real luggage storage and getting back into the apt to pick up luggage is a problem. I kept texting the manager about luggage storage, and he just didn't bother responding.
- Edis (8/5): - Close to the center, perfect
I did not like separte bathroom from the room
- Altiana (2/5): - Very confusing situation. They would not respond to any of my communications, not even to confirm that they saw them. They had given us a checkout time in a digital communication, but then disagreed with it in person, which is very strange. Refused to believe written evidence. We had a bathroom to share with I don't know many other interconnected rooms. Also locatated in a dirty noisy part of town. Will not recommend.
- EVY (8/5): - Right next to the Wall
- sarah (10/5): - Good host , close to all the main attraction
- Fiona (8/5): - This property was in an excellent location to access central Verona
It was clean , a little odd as no window in the room only the bathroom.
Also check in was very unclear as was the general access
Better instructions would possibly help
- Edward (8/5): Location, location, location! - Very nice room with huge bathroom and a terrace. No view but still nice. Location is fantastic! Staff very friendly! Public kitchen area with coffee, water, Grappa, etc.
The strange stuff:
Entry door from street not well marked.
There are no room numbers.
Found out the hard way that all rooms have the same key so no security from other guests. (Pro tip, leave the key in door turned part way while in the room. This prevents anyone from being able to use key from other side.)
No TV.
Nothing but sheer curtains on large bathroom window.
Even with these issues I would consider staying here again.1
- Fariba (6/5): - No signs on the main door. Hard to find.
- Wensheng (6/5): - Great location. As other guests described, there was no sign to find the place. But staff was waiting outside of the street during check-in time.
This is a 3 bdr and 3 bth apartment on 2nd floor. You will hear garbage truck passing by every early morning.
Only one room is able to fit 3 people, the rest 2 rooms are one bed. If you have family of 3, beware to ask in advance. They do have 3 separate private bathrooms. Each room gets one but it is not un-suite. One of the bathroom smells. This is not bed and breakfast, JUST bed. Don't pay extra to get breakfast ( because they don't provide it, even you paid to Expedia). False advertisement.
Roberto was very accommodating, he provided cushions for us to use at oprea.
- Sylvain (10/5): - Le propriétaire est très courtois et donne de bonne informations soit pour le stationnement, les restaurants et autre. Très bien situé pour la visite de la ville
- scott (10/5): - A very welcoming host with lots of information to share. A great spot, easy walk to all the cities' highlights.
- Charlie (2/5): - No sign on door and more like a flat with shared facilities than a bnb. No reception, owner not on site , someone dropped off the key then left. Contact prior had been good but in the end we stayed elsewhere.
- Paul (2/5): - Coordinating the check in was a nightmare. Lots of wait.
- Jayden (10/5): - A little further away from Milan than we realized but we really enjoyed staying here. Very clean and great service. We really enjoyed our stay!
- Lyn (10/5): Perfect - Fabulous place, perfect location. Easy walking distance to central Verona.
Room was light and airy.
Tea and coffee facilities provided just outside the room in the lobby.
Roberto provided us with a list of places to eat. We popped out to the supermarket (almost next door) for fresh baked pastries for a lazier breakfast.
- Zeljka (10/5): - Excellent!
