• Sabine (9/5): Sehr schöner Strandurlaub in tropischer Kulisse - Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt , die Zimmer ( fast schon kleine Bungalows) die Anlage selber und der Strand waren fantastisch . Halbpension ist erforderlich, da keine Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe . Leider ist der Strand außerhalb der Anlage sehr verschmutzt, es spült unzähliger Müll bei Flut an , die Fischer lassen auch aller Unrat am Strand liegen . Sehr schade , dachte es hätte sich seit meinem letzten Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka vor 8 Jahren geändert 😪 Gab nichts

Der Strand vor dem Resort wird sauber gehalten, aber drum herum weniger. Die Fischer sollten Anreize erhalten, mitzuwirken. Ein Abfallkorb könnte auch Gäste animieren, etwas am Sauber halten des Strandes mitzuwirken.

Man sollte genügend Bücher dabei haben, da man vom Hotel aus keine grossen Touren, ausser vielleicht nach Galle, ca. 1 Std. entfernt, unternehmen kann. Der Strand ist super schön, sauber und fast menschenleer! Das Essen war einsame Spitze! Wir hatten nur Frühstück und Abendessen, was völlig ausreichend war. Der "Chef" versteht es perfekt, kulinarische Höhepunkte auf den Tisch zu zaubern. Kompliment. Auch das übrige Personal war super nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Aavya Cove absolut weiter empfehlen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war etwas "überzogen"

Property overrated but with some investment could be impressive and truly 5 star. The quality of the website of AAHAASA is impressive but unfortunately is not reflected in the property.
• Jane (10/5): Superb - Aayva Cove is a very special place and on a rare stretch of beach where it's safe to swim ! - Absolutely superb. Tucked away in beautiful landscaped grounds on a beautiful cove - Aayva Cove Villas is a stunning property. We had 2 villas overlooking the pool and beach - very spacious and we loved the private garden, terrace and outdoor shower. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - being such a small property it almost felt like staying in a friends private villa! We chose the half board option - great food and special touches such as preparing one of the fish from the overnight catch for lunch one day, delicious seafood platter for lunch the next day .. and serving us dinner on the beach on our last night !!- and even setting up an early morning hoppers station for us for breakfast before we left for the airport! (special thanks to our water Sathsara and the chefs Bandara and Mohan. ) We also really appreciated having lifeguards Sahan and Vimukthi on the beach making sure it was safe for us to swim (and anticipating our every need with towels, sunbeds etc beach and poolside). The beachfront massage was also superb! We were very sad to leave - and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend ! - in fact we would love to return sometime, n/a
• Sonja (9/5): Hübsche Anlage am wenig touristischen Strand - Hübsche, kleine Anlage direkt am Strand von Balapitya. Schöne Bungalows mit persönlichem, grosszügigen Aussenbereich. Service und Essen sind hervorragend. Toll fanden wir auch die Tierwelt direkt in der Anlage: viele Vögel, drei Warane 😊, Schildkröten, Streifenhörnchen und einmal konnten wir am Gewässer nebenan Affen beobachten. Balapitya ist weniger touristisch, entsprechend hat es auch weniger touristische Infrastruktur. Die Anlage liegt direkt am Strand, von dem aus die lokalen Fischer starten - entsprechend stark ist der Fischgeruch und das Meer direkt vor der Anlage aufgrund von immer wieder angeschwemmten Fischabfällen weniger einladend. Auch sind die Abfallberge in der Nähe der Siedlung (wie leider an vielen Orten in Sri Lanka) sehr unangenehm. Man kann problemlos am wenig touristischen Strand etwas entlang laufen und dort im Meer baden. Teilweise sind an diesem Strand, wie an vielen anderen Orten, auch viele Hunde unterwegs. Uns hat das nicht gestört, ist aber wichtig zu wissen für Personen, die sich damit nicht so wohl fühlen.
• Anna (10/5): Brilliant! - Meine Mutter und ich verbrachten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt an der traumhaften Küste von Balapitya. Es gefiel uns dort so gut, dass wir unsere geplante Reise nach Yala kurzerhand stornierten und stattdessen länger blieben. Wir wohnten in der Mango-Villa mit ihrem großen Garten und der herrlichen Sitzecke, wo wir Vögel, Pflanzen und manchmal sogar Affen beobachteten. Das Meer war ruhig und das Wasser kristallklar – wir gingen jeden Tag schwimmen! Ein großes Dankeschön an unsere Rettungsschwimmer Sahan und Vimu, die uns im Wasser stets im Auge behielten! Eines Morgens trafen wir unseren Koch Bandara am Strand, als er gerade frischen Fisch für unser Abendessen aussuchte. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an ihn und sein Team: Mohan, seine rechte Hand, Sathsara, der unsere Frühstückswünsche immer sofort erkannte, und Hasitha, der uns Singhalesisch beibrachte. Wir wurden mit dem exquisiten Essen und dem hervorragenden Service des Küchenpersonals regelrecht verwöhnt! Leider kenne ich nicht alle Namen, um sie hier zu erwähnen, wie zum Beispiel die der Gärtner: die Villen liegen inmitten eines riesigen, grünen Gartens mit einem wunderbaren Ökosystem, das uns ein Gefühl von Zuhause vermittelte und es uns möglich machte, der wunderschönen Natur Sri Lankas so nah zu sein. Auch ein herzliches Dankeschön a das Reinigungspersonal, das stets dafür sorgte, dass es uns an nichts fehlte und die Zimmer blitzsauber waren! Und natürlich auch an die beiden liebenswerten Damen an der Rezeption, Jaine und Nirodha! Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm gestaltet haben. Balapitya ist ein malerisches Fischerdorf. Da es in der Gegend nicht viele Hotels gibt, war unser Aufenthalt luxuriös, exklusiv und ruhig. Gleichzeitig fühlten wir uns sicher und wie ein Teil des Dorfes – wir wurden immer freundlich von den Dorfbewohnern begrüßt. Wir haben viel über das Fischen gelernt und es wurde zu unserer täglichen Routine, den Fischern beim Ausfahren aufs Meer zuzusehen.

• Burhanuddin (8/5): Beautiful and peaceful. - Lovely lovely beach and pool, very helpful and responsive staff. Food portions and contents were very inconsistent day on day. Some of the towels and sheets we had were dirty and it didn’t seem like sheets were being changed daily, which we would’ve expected for the money we paid. For the price we would’ve also have expected a free airport shuttle, but we didn’t get that either.
• Eliza (10/5): Heaven, wonderful staff - We had the most incredible stay at Aavaya Cove with our 1 year old. It’s right beside a beautiful paradise stretch of beach that you can safely swim in. The rooms are immaculate, cleaned twice a day, housekeeping do lovely decorations on your bed. What makes it so special are the staff, who are lovely and genuinely care - everyone was wonderful with our baby - Nirodha warmly hosted us, nothing was too much trouble. Sahan, the amazing lifeguard played with our baby and taught him things about fishing and the water. Hasitha was super kind and attentive to us at all times and Sathsara and Janni were fab and provided excellent service too. Thusitha’s cooking was fabulous, Puja too and was so sweet with our baby - a lovely team of people, who felt like friends by the end. Asela the masseuse is also fantastic. It was genuinely one of the most special holidays of our life, thanks to the wonderful staff, and we’ll be returning next year!
• Richard (7/5): Pleasant location, friendly staff, OBSCENELY OVERPRICED - Beach location is beautiful. Pool is large and appealing. Aavya Cove markets and prices itself as a 5 star property. It has zero facilities and is definitely not 5 star. Attached photo is the “spa”, which turns out to be a small hut by the beach. Guests would be better described as “marks”. What seems like a nice local pre-dinner cocktail ends up being another $20 charge on your bill. There’s always one regret on any holiday and this was our very expensive one. If you have this kind of money, carry on driving to Galle and book yourself into a proper 5 star hotel like the Aman

My next stop was the serene and secluded Calamansi Cove Villas—a hidden gem along Sri Lanka’s southwestern coast, where relaxation is as much a part of the experience as the view itself. Tucked away in lush tropical gardens and framed by crashing waves, Calamansi Cove felt like a sanctuary. The resort has an intimate, boutique feel, with just a handful of private villas thoughtfully spaced for privacy and tranquillity. The moment I arrived, I could feel my shoulders drop and my breath deepen. This was the Sri Lankan coastline at its most calming—no rush, no noise, just the sound of the ocean and the rustle of palm leaves overhead. My accessible villa was conveniently located on the ground floor, with level access throughout. The open-plan design made it easy to navigate, and the staff had already anticipated my needs, offering small but thoughtful touches to make my stay more comfortable. Wide doorways, smooth paths, and a gentle slope into the villa made independent movement easy, and the privacy of my own little courtyard added an extra layer of peace. The grounds themselves were a joy to explore. Meandering garden paths led through thickets of tropical flowers, overhanging vines, and the occasional splash of colour from native birds flitting between trees. I found quiet corners to sit and read, sip tea, or simply listen to the rhythm of the waves crashing onto the beach beyond the palms. There was no itinerary here—just time. Time to breathe. Time to reflect. Time to let the vibrant pace of the trip so far settle into something slower and softer. Calamansi Cove was a gentle reminder that travel, especially as a wheelchair user, doesn’t always have to be a high-adrenaline adventure. Sometimes, it’s about finding places where nature and comfort hold equal space—and giving yourself permission to rest within them.

It’s truly a place that feels like home — but on vacation. The biggest highlight for us is the exceptional service. The people who work here are incredibly kind and warm. It’s such a joy to return and see familiar faces who not only remember us, but also know and genuinely care about our children. That kind of connection is rare and deeply meaningful. We want to give special thanks to Sujith, Nerodha, Shalini and Jayavira, who have looked after us and our children every single time we’ve visited. Their care and attention make all the difference, and we are so grateful for their presence. This is a perfect place for curious little explorers — our kids loved collecting coconuts, spotting iguanas and monkeys, watching hermit crabs, searching for shells, and exploring the plants and flowers. The surroundings are simply beautiful: peaceful, private, and just steps away from a quiet beach. We’re already planning our next trip with the whole family, even if it means traveling for 24 hours with two kids — it’s always worth it for the rest, nature, and warmth we experience at Calamansi Cove. Also, a special shoutout to Asela for the unforgettable massage — truly a highlight of the stay! This place has a piece of our hearts. • R1901ZRdeborahr (10/5): Paradise - Having spent nearly two weeks here, I can confidently say it's the most breathtaking destination we've ever stayed at. Everything was flawless—the stunning location, picturesque villas, delicious food, and the incredible staff who quickly became dear friends. Nothing was ever too much trouble. For those seeking peace and tranquility, this is the ultimate retreat. The lovely receptionist, Nirodha, expertly organized day trips, ranging from safaris and whale watching to countless other adventures. The photos simply don't do this place justice—it was truly majestic. An unexpected highlight was a chance encounter on the beach with Priyantha, a local fisherman and TukTuk owner. This serendipitous meeting turned into the most enriching experience of our holiday. Priyantha became a cherished friend, staying with us all day and guiding us to unforgettable spots. He made my sister's birthday extra special by arranging a meal at his favorite restaurant, complete with flowers and a band to sing "Happy Birthday." • G7365FJlynnf (10/5): Paradise,,so relaxing 😌 - This location is a slice of paradise, the villa was lovely, with a private area to relax in, pity about the mossies. Just yards from a beautiful, almost deserted beach, at times it felt like we were the only visitors there. The staff were first rate,nothing was too much trouble, a mention for, Nirodha,lovely lady who became a friend, Wacella,in the restaurant, the life guards, and Preantha, whom we met on the beach and became our tuk tuk driver, even inviting us for a meal with his family, loved you all, hope to return in a couple of years, met the owner, please don't make too many changes, it is perfect.

• jbschmor (10/5): Happy Return - I stayed last year in early March for four nights, as I waited to get my India visa renewed. I fell in love with the place, the food, the people who work there. So this year I booked eight nights - and I could have easily been happy to stay another eight or eighteen even. The staff, from Nirodha's expert concierge skills and kindness, to Sujit's attentive lifeguarding (and good company), to the housekeeping guys Sadeep, Harindu, Tharindu, to waiting staff including Harati, to the gardeners and handymen, to the gatekeeper who lets you know when your tuk tuk has arrived - it's a team that works together like a happy family. And to top all of that, I had superb dinner company from one of the owners, Eveline - who generously gave me information about the local area and what it's like to live in Sri Lanka. I stayed in the Calamansi Suite (above the restaurant) which is unbelievably spacious and serene. The food here is worth a separate review of its own - once again I loved the grilled Jack fish dinner, the seafood mango/avo salad, the beet root, watermelon and feta salad, and perfectly fresh breakfast with just enough but not too much of what you want. Love the chili-accented coconut ice cream. I swam in the ocean every chance I could get - sometimes three times a day. I really think Balapitiya has some of the very best swimming beaches in Sri Lanka (not that I have sampled them all - but can't imagine better). I also fell for the small town and recommend walking along its main road to visit the shops - especially the Citizen Salon for a good haircut and truly great face and head massage! I truly love this place and these people. I can't think of a single other hotel in my travel experience that has me weeping when it's time to leave.
• Abdulla (7/5): Great place close to the beach. Family friendly. - Great stay, with some feedback: a few more coffee options should be provided, and / or a coffee machine in the room. Also, the staff should be more vigilant about replenishing toiletries. Pros: very close to the beach, great pool, rooms were awesome, and the service great. Cons: lack of coffee options, toiletries, and minibar stocking.
• X9407NYjamesc (10/5): Great Room, Great beach - We had the Calamansi Suite. It was the best room in the house, possibly one of the best hotel rooms in Sri lanka. It was simply enormous, with terraces overlooking the pool and towards the sea. The beach is lovely and empty and linked with two other large beaches, great for swimming. Nice pool too. Friendly staff, especially lifeguard and good food. Would definitely stay again.
• Wilma (10/5): The staff there were fantastic and made the day of our wedding anniversary perfect for us. The staff looked after us so - Absolutely perfect, right on beach and tucked away. Our villa was very clean and the food exceptional. Nothing I didn’t like.

• christophertM5980QW (10/5): Paradise - After a 3 week tour of Sri Lanka we booked 3 nights at Calamansi Cove The villa we had (Mango) was beautiful with a private garden area to relax and listen to the tropical sounds around. Everywhere was spotlessly clean around the resort. Lovely meals in the restaurant….some have mentioned slow service…we have waited longer in restaurants in the U.K….Whats the rush anyway when you can sit and enjoy a cold beer and delight in the beautiful surroundings. ( maybe some soft music would add a nice ambiance) Stunning beach on your doorstep and fun watching the fishermen taking their boats out ( from 5pm ish) daily and also pulling in their catch with the nets. The pool was great to cool off and must mention the lifeguard who we loved chatting to and explained lots about the nature of the area. Also Asela who gives the most wonderful massages while listening to the sound of the ocean. But a shout out to all the staff from the gardeners to the receptionist..Nirodha who,s communication is exceptional..Thank you. Would we visit again?….In a heartbeat ….3 days was not long enough.. This place is truly paradise !

• Lesley (8/5): Beautiful location and facilities. - The setting is right on a beautiful beach. The pool, grounds, and especially my room were excellent. It was very quiet . Beautiful room with comfy bed, lovely bathroom and a small garden where I could sit out. Tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. It had everything I needed. The breakfasts were excellent and the evening meals were of the same excellent standard. I think the prices of the food was expensive. They do have a 3 course set menu but for some reason were very reluctant to discuss it. Even so it was $30. So I stuck to the A La Carte. There is no “Reception” as such so difficult to get hold of “reception” staff at times. I did not like dog(s) being fed in the dining room by guests whilst I was eating. I think this causes problems for dogs who then think it’s ok to come begging at tables. I’m not sure but I think the dogs lived at the hotel so didn’t need feeding by guests.
• Peter (7/5): A nice place on the beach. - Spacious villas, good pool, nice breakfasts. For dinner you can get much tastier food at several of the local restaurants in Balapitiya and for a fraction of the cost.
• Danielle (9/5): Some challenges leading up but absolute paradise with excellent staff once we arrived - We had an amazing stay. The facilities are gorgeous and we enjoyed every minute. The food was mostly quite good and the staff were the most well trained and organized we had encountered during our time in Sri Lanka. Absolutely loved the two dogs who live on the property. Would not hesitate to return. Leading up to our stay, we had trouble communicating with the property. They sent us some very weird messages about the reservation, looking to charge us more, despite the details having been covered ($) and outlined on our reservation. Then they stopped answering, so we had to get Booking.com support involved.

• Ekaterina (10/5): Exceptional - It was our little quiet paradise with soft sand and gentle waves. No crowds, only fishermen and squirrels and monkeys passing by every morning.
• Nastassja (10/5): Absolute Bliss - The villas are designed in a very unique and private way. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat. The location is secluded, away from the hustle and bustle, providing a sense of tranquility. Each villa comes with its own private garden, adding to the exclusivity. The nearby beach is stunning and feels almost private, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. During my stay, I enjoyed an exceptional massage from a skilled male masseuse, which was the perfect way to enhance the overall experience. This place is truly a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. The food at the restaurant can be a bit pricey but this is a resort away from other restaurants and shops so keep this in mind.
• Dennis (10/5): - Peaceful & relaxing with a beautiful beach & safe swimming. The Garden Villas were delightful & the staff genuinely friendly with good service standards. There is a lifeguard on duty who is both informative about sea conditions & the wildlife around. The birdlife is stunning. Only one small quibble in that the inner pool area could do with a bit of a clean.Other than that all good & would certainly recommend.
• hpatra (8/5): Nice little property on a great beach. - The property is away from crowded areas, near a village, about a kilometer from the main road. We stayed here for only one day/night and it was raining most of the time. We had our own car, hence it was convenient to go out otherwise we would be stuck here because of the rain. Our garden villa(named Rambutan) was nice and spacious. It is set in a tropical forest with a huge outdoor area and rooftop terrace. But mosquitoes wouldn't let us sit outside. The problem with our villa was that other guests could look into our room when they were passing by. So we had to keep the curtains down. I wouldn't recommend this villa. The food at the restaurant was alright but expensive. The service was pretty slow. For dinner, one has to confirm hours before and for breakfast one has to order the night before. The pool was good and the beach was excellent. There is a fishing village right next door. Pretty idyllic! If you want privacy then don't take the villa named Rambutan.
• Marina (6/5): Nice beach, but would not stay again. - It has a pretty beach, the food was okay (club sandwich was one of the best meals on the menu) and the rooms were spacious. Staff quite unhelpful, intrusive (continuously knocking on bedroom door to ask about dinner plans, waking you up while sleeping on the beach to ask if you want to order anything), and the receptionist was sharing different rates (almost 150% higher) than the ones available on booking. Additionally, the bedrooms smelled like mould and the bedsheets were not clean. Definitely Not worth the price / value ratio!
• NicknackF (10/5): Absolute bliss! - This is quite frankly the nicest, most comfortable, and modern hotel I've ever stayed at in Sri Lanka. It was BEAUTIFUL and serene, and spotless. This is a beachfront property and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff: Nirodha (manager) was very friendly and promptly upgraded us to a suite due to a booking mishap, attentive without being intrusive, and the chef turned out most delicious meals! Rooms were large and modern, with high-end fittings and linen. Poolside was absolute bliss. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the lovely owner Eveline every night! Hi Eveline, this is Nicky! Please stay here, I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.
• Nilakshi (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel - This is quite frankly the nicest, most comfortable, and modern hotel I've ever stayed in here. It was BEAUTIFUL and serene, and spotless. This is a beachfront property and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff: Nirodha (manager) was very friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and the chef turned out delicious meals! Please stay here, I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.
• ngarenanyuki (10/5): Beautiful setting with staff who go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. - Nestled on a pristine beach less than an hour and a half from Colombo, this exquisite hotel was even better than we’d hoped it would be. The breathtaking views and helpful and welcoming staff that made us feel right at home. The villas were elegant and super comfortable, with gorgeous furniture I wanted to take home with me! All the meals we had in the restaurant were delicious, and we loved our massages with “Magic Hands”. Afternoons by the pool were bliss, and taking a ride into the local town in a tuk-tuk was fun. The hotel also arranged an unforgettable river trip to explore nearby temples, making our visit even more memorable—we’ll 100% return to this very special Hotel time and time again.
• 730DianaB (10/5): feels like heaven - this place is more than i could ever imagine. Impecable service, silence, cleanlinsess, beautiful rooms, beatiful restaurant. The view of the beach is a treat from morning to evening. All the ingredients of a relaxing holliday are present at Calamansi. Beyond the place is the team here, dedicated to having happy clients. Special thanks to Nirodha, the heart of the place, the guest relations manager. Then, Sujigh, the life gurad who know everything about nature and helps everybody, guests and collegues, alike. House keeping team, always with a smile, are doing their best so you can stay in a clean and confortable room. Restaurant team needs more speed, that is the only thing that i want improved at Calamansi. The Spa is lucky to have Asela, and the kitchen chef Bandara. I plan to be back and i hope to find everybody, especially the shedog Tommy. I travelled in 61 countries, stayed in 4 & 5 stars hotels and i can say this is the best place i've ever been.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location, super calm environment. If you want to relax and you want a holiday close to the beach & nature, this is your hotel. I would recommend it for couples who don't want to do any activities at all. There is not much to do except to sit and relax and the pool/sea.

• Tobias (9/5): Relaxed luxury in a quiet spot convenient for our last stop before flying home - Brilliant breakfast, gobsmacking room (we stayed in the suite above the restaurant, with sea views), and wonderful beach with sea that you can swim in safely — quite unusual for Sri Lanka The initial welcome was lacklustre. Every other hotel we stayed at offered a warm cloth and a drink. This place we had to work out that a restaurant booking was needed for the first night. It was disconcerting but once we had adjusted we loved it and most of the staff were lovely. Late check out was really fantastic too. Food delicious, but very expensive.
• O8878VZvaleriab (10/5): Sustainable hotel with beach access - This hotel is in a secluded haven with a sustainable policy. From the lifeguard that waved us goodbye saying Come next year, to the main admin and all the waiters team, made us feel pampered. We are grateful for these details, as it is this which make us feel a special guest and add value to our holidays. The restaurant food is superb and the breakfast can't be missed either. Wishing to return some day, we can 100% recommend this hotel.

• Isha (1/5): Do not book - Poorly maintained Location too secluded, no access to tuk tuk, no places to eat nearby. Property is in poor condition. All the rooms had a damp mouldy smell and we were eaten alive by bed bugs at night. We had booked for three days but left after first night
• Victoria (9/5): The photos don't do this place justice!! Private paradise - The whole hotel is gorgeous. The beach is perfect for swimming, very clean with gorgeous views and is so private (not packed with hundreds of other tourists). You can walk to the rocks on the corner for great snorkeling and to explore the huge other beach on the other side. In the evening (5pm) all the local fishermen turn up to take their boats out as the sun sets and its like a free show every day as the boats are beautiful and the locals are all very friendly. The rooms are all huge with private garden seating areas with overhead fans and your own coffee machine. The food and drinks were all very reasonably priced and often enjoyed having a beer brought to me on the beach as the sun set. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and attentive, even showing me monkeys that had come to visit the hotel one day. Loads of wildlife to see at the hotel to keep you entertained and the food was all delicious. Took a tuk tuk from the hotel one day down to Hikkaduwa Turtle Beach to go Scuba Diving (about 20-30 mins drive with great views along the way). The busy beach there made me grateful to return to the hotels quiet one. A private piece of paradise Seats and a table on the rooms rooftop terrace would have been a good extra touch. The wifi didnt reach back to my bedroom at the very back of the hotel but worked fine everywhere else
• Sherpa58576297032 (10/5): Bliss! - Calamansi Cove is a little slice of heaven. The beach is stunning, facilities are excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is the perfect escape from busy lives and also a wonderful oasis of calm if you are exploring the exciting activities and sights of Sri Lanka. The food was delicious, with plenty of choice for all tastes. The proximity of the pool and restaurant to the beach also means that everyone can truly relax and go at the their own pace. I can't recommend it highly enough.
• ransiluc (10/5): Feeling relax and so calm... - Great service with great attitude towards the guests and always empathizes the guests need. When you enter the hotel, it feels like you are in a relax world. Rooms are specious and well maintained with most of the amenities/ facilities. Mouthwatering food and could enjoy homemade ice cream for dessert.
• petercolvin (10/5): A Delightful Hidden Gem - This was the last stop of our recent trip to Sri Lanka and the fifth Jetwing hotel that we stayed at. We weren't disappointed. We stayed in a lovely villa and enjoyed some really excellent food. I can really recommend their water melon, beetroot, cucumber & feta salad and their amazing fresh fish curry. It's a fantastic, peaceful place to unwind for a couple of days before the trip back to Colombo. Their lovely team prepared a great breakfast, in a box, for us to take with us on our trip back to the airport, given our early start. The pool is lovely, but the real star of the show is the magnificent white sandy beach and the great sunsets which we enjoyed before dinner.

The location was perfect - both quiet and surrounded by friendly local fishermen. The food was so good that we did not feel any need to look elsewhere. Lots of space and comfort. Thoroughly recommended!
• Suzanne (10/5): A magical, peaceful place in paradise. We felt very welcome and thank you very much for the wonderful time we were able - Beautiful small complex in the middle of a tropical garden. The 10 small villas are modern and tastefully furnished, a small garden with a cozy seating area completes the room, nice and useful also the outdoor shower when you come back from swimming. Very nice that the garden also provided a habitat for many animals, we enjoyed the bird concerts, We were delighted to see mongooses, geckos, monkeys, monitor lizards and a sea eagle, which often made its rounds over the site. The villa is cleaned every day and the bed is lovingly decorated with flowers and plants. A large pool, with fresh water without chemicals, is pleasant when the sea is too stormy and the lifeguard puts up the red flag. Yes, the small resort has a lifeguard who made us feel safe at all times with his friendly manner. Very nice restaurant, where we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast in the morning, small snacks and drinks were served during the day. Huge praise to the chef! Every meal was excellent and beautifully prepared. A big compliment also to the waiters, who were extraordinarily friendly and professional, and who fulfilled our every wish. The recommendations regarding the preparation of the freshly caught fish we ordered were great! The two dogs, Tommy and Max, were also very cute and we took them to our hearts. (However, they were also kept away from people who don't like dogs or are anxious) As we were here at the end of a round trip, we just wanted to relax and didn't make use of the spa, yoga and meditation facilities or the excursions. There was nothing to complain about, the only pity was that our vacation was coming to an end.
• Amerrild (10/5): A small piece of Heaven - This is a small piece of heaven. You live in small villas where you have your own garden, a beautiful room and a very luxerious bathroom. The villa is kept nice and clean at all times. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The pool area is nice and cozy and the ocean is only a few steps away. Here you will find a Beach of pure stand - really great. The staff is absolutely great - they know what you want even before you know it. Go here to relax, get re-energized and enjoy this piece of heaven. I am absolutly coming back.
• Carmen (10/5): Exceptional - We were originally planning to stay for 3 nights, and ended up staying a total of 10 days. It was appropriate fir my 2 year old, we switched between the rooms, we had 2 beach front rooms and this was very convenient with a kid, as i didnt have to carry a big bag for all my stuff, the room was right there. Pool is super clean. The beach view is just breathtaking. We saw dolphins, the hotel staff, came to our room once to tell us to come see the dolphins. Each room gets its own small garden, so during rainy days we would stay inside, and my kid would play in the garden. The rooms are very clean. The staff is just amazing! Everyone is so lovely and helpful. Pool guard got me a fresh aloe vera from his house to put on my skin after being sunburnt. We really felt comfortable. The front desk lady is an amazing women, elegant, sweet and helpful
• Mino (10/5): Quiet relax on the beach with great services - Everything about the Calamansi Cove Villas was great. It was clean, stylish, located on a quiet beachfront, just a few steps from golden sands and calm blue waves. During our stay, we enjoyed the tranquility of the place, beautiful green sceneries in the gardens and local atmosphere at the beach. The staff at the resort was attentive, polite and friendly. Even though we arrived very early in the morning (due to some travel issues) the manager (Mr. Samitha) helped us with no delay with a room. The kitchen here is great and we had to try almost everything on the menu, including the local specialities. Our thanks go also to all the nice people at the reception, restaurant, lifeguard and housekeeping (Janith, Omesh, Hasitha, Sadiqi and Niro 🙏). If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place to calm down and relax, with excellent services - this is the place to go.

• Alina (9/5): Quiet picturesque hotel - The hotel is situated in a quiet area among private houses. This means that there are no shops and restaurants nearby. The village at the main road is not touristic, only local people. It is very nice place with pool and beach which begins on the hotel territory. The beach is quiet, only one more hotel is situated here. As I understand all villas are the same, but some of them are near the pool, others aren’t. Each villa has a room with bathroom and a terrace. Rooms are clean and have a modern interior. Restaurant is a-la cart (breakfast too). It takes some time to reach other places.

Exceptionally good Sri Lankan and western food. - I really loved that it wasn’t a bland big resort, it was small, boutique with great Sri Lankan service with a smile. I really felt like I was away from it all, very relaxed with Nothing really, all good.
• John (10/5): Exceptional - We could not have landed up at a better place, this is a true gem, hidden away with great food and the most amazing beach - we decided to stay there at the last minute because we had originally booked a big hotel, but we were just dying for some peace and quiet after traveling around the country. We could not have been more delighted when we arrived at sunset to a beautiful beachfront and pool direct from our villa. Definitely coming back. Great staff and a real hideaway - a very special place. Thank you.

• Awanthika (10/5): We had a wonderful stay - Everything about this small hotel is fantastic. The staff was wonderful, the life guard and the receptionist were very friendly and supportive. Food was really good and it is such a calm and quiet place to wind down for a family or a couple. Accessing the hotel is a bit tricky. You wouldn't think there is a hotel in the road that leads to it.
• Henning (1/5): Disaster, should be closed, change staff - NICHTS, The Place should be closed , this is cheating / Useless staff / food a disaster, we had to stay one night , than left, but were forced from Booking.com / Jetwing to pay full amount, this is even worse All run down place
• Rachel (10/5): A real gem with amazing beach for swimming and lovely pool. - Pool and beach amazing. It felt like we had the beach and pool basically to ourselves with our toddler. Brilliantly family friendly and kind staff. Good food and lovely breakfast. Arranged great boat safari for us picked up straight from beach in front of hotel. Calm sea which was great for swimming, even with our toddler! very comfy bed too and beautiful cot provided. Also v quick to sort out our change in dates due to flight delay and price confusion too which was really appreciated. Very quiet which was perfect for us but might not suit others. Felt expensive compared to other places we have stayed on our trip but we had a great time so it was worth it:
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Great accomodation and location, very quiet beach. But poor service. Staff, especially in the restaurant and bar, need better training and language skills. Hotel also tried to overcharge for the restaurant bill and had inconsistent policies regarding applying VAT and service charge on top of the bill, this varied between the various menus in the restaurant which is misleading for customers.
• camille et alex (6/5): Très décevant - Le cadre est sublime, le personnel de sécurité, le sauveteur en mer ainsi que l’equipe Du restaurant étaient absolument adorable et très disponible et à l’ecoute En revanche l’equipe De la réception très décevant pas accueillante du tout, la chambre sale (invasion de fourmis certes contrôlée après avoir râlé) et chambre décevante par rapport aux photos... Malgré tout nous avons passé un bon moment, merci encore au chef, aux serveurs et aux personnes de la sécurité et de la plage pour leurs sourire et leur savoir faire!
