It was better than expected, especially for my husband as he didn’t know what I had booked. Thought google had gone haywire as showing in the sea. He was very surprised. Nothing really. Its an older type but the character is very in keeping with the area. Anything else would be wrong ( in my opinion). Staff were great. No complaints from us

The elevator was a half a football field away🤷♀️ the first room hardly had a view and we paid for a view so they gave us another room. Two more flights of stairs. I called two weeks before to see about the dining room and they said it was open. NOT Our final room was good but I had to give them $20. More to get it. The lady at the desk said it is bookings fault and also told me nobody likes the first room .so I asked her why she thought WE would ??? I would be very clear about what I want if I stayed here again.

- Julie (5/5): Poor customer service - The room we had was quite nice and comfortable with a great view. No complaints there Overall the accommodations were great. Customer service was horrible! We visited off season and when we arrived we were 2 hours early from Check in. I asked nicely about early check in. The girl quickly pointed out we were early and the room was not ready. Again we are off season, there were maybe 4 cars in the parking lot and the hotel had 117 guest rooms. I’m pretty certain there were available rooms. The girl again rudely stated we were early and they would try to get our room ready and call when it was. She made no effort to see if anything else was available, or to accommodate us in anyway. She never called or made effort to get our room ready. She was rude and dismissed us which I feel was uncalled for. I will seek other accommodations next time we head to Homer.

- Kenneth (10/5): - We really enjoyed everything about our stay, from check-in through check-out. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Excellent view from our room and got to watch sea otters playing. Bed and pillows were just right for a good night's sleep. We had dinner at the restaurant and opted for the King Crab Leg and Filet Mignon special, It was the best dinner of our two week trip. We also had breakfast in the restaurant, which was also good. Nothing during our stay was less than perfect, except for the weather, which can't be blamed on the hotel but I had to think of something less than perfect.

You will walk in the room and say "well, this is a little small and shabby" but then you will open the curtains and see the million dollar view and it won't matter what the room is like. Our bathtub faucet broke, with the water running one night. The hotel was able to move us to an adjacent room quickly. Food at their restaurant is just OK. But there are outstanding restaurants within a short walk. We stocked up on lunch and breakfast food at the Homer Safeway and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in our room looking out at the view and packed lunches for our hikes and kayaking trip. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room.

Waited awhile along with many others to get into our room despite calling at 10:30 am to get in early because of our dinner plans across the bay. The restaurant was poorly staffed and food took a long time even though only 5 tables were seated for lunch. When we asked for help, we were dismissed with "oh someone should come soon".

- Karen (10/5): - Renovations in the lobby are happening but the rooms are newly renovated and are stunning. Best views on earth. Restaurant is pricy but great food. Good fishing from the beach. Watched sea otters play from our room.

- Cynthia (4/5): - I stayed in a renovated room first. It was beautiful, clean and modern. Moved to a smaller room which was waiting to be renovated. Ugh. Old, stuffy and, to be kind full of character (?). Stay in the renovated rooms and you'll be happy. Not worth the money to stay in the old rooms. Cleaning service was never done even though requested multiple times. They ignore the old rooms.

- Laurie (8/5): - Location is hands down the best in Homer. Stayed in an economy room but watching the fishing and other boats in action, the wildlife, and the beautiful view was a priceless experience...even if one of us slept on the trundle. Book earlier than we did! Would rate higher but things like missing a chair on the balcony and not being told how the amenities on the property worked at check in was a.little irritating. I did report the missing chair but a replacement was not offered. They were short staffed and there is construction going on but noise was never an issue. Soaking in the hot tub overlooking the mountains and water was an unexpected bonus-you have to reserve a time. Also pretty easy access to the strip of stores and dining.

Poca disposición para ayudar ubicando cerca las habitaciones de mis hijos. La tercera habitación era externa al hotel a más de 500 metros de distancia (menores de edad) y eso no fue especificado. No hacían limpieza diaria de la habitación.
