The spa and outdoor pool/ hot tub were very nice after a long day of skiing. The proximity to Gondola One and ski in ski out really was the highlight of our trip. The room was lacking though, needs to be updated. Since every room is different and owned by individual owners it’s unfortunate you do not know what you’re going to get. The bed was comfortable but the bedding was too light for a cold Vail night. Could use an upgrade to a warmer down comforter.

• Jose (10/5): Great stay in Lodge Tower! - The staff is wonderful and friendly and they maintain an impeccably clean property! Breakfast was great each morning with a wide variety of food. The only suggestion is that there was no overhead reading lighting nor bedside lamps in unit 293, nor means to move another lamp to plug in. Otherwise, we can't wait to return!

The suite gave extra space for kids to run around. There is a big balcony and we can see the beautiful fall color right from our rooms.

They had a great hot breakfast each morning and a nice pool and hot tub that we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly. We walked everywhere and our car was parked the whole weekend. We took the gondola to the top of the mountain to see the spectacular fall colors which I would recommend!

• Adam (4/5): Very small - Shocked at the size. Two double beds barely fit in this room. First room I haven't had a refrigerator in in 20 years. Dresser had multiple broken drawers. Great location and the people there are very attentive. If you're a family of 4 you will be pressed for space as there is no place to put anything and no place to gather other than sitting on the beds. If you're tall enjoy your feet hanging off (booking notes say queen or double but the booking was for a specific room so no upgrade at check-in to a room with queens)

• 970emilianad (4/5): Nice location, terrible beds! - This hotel has an excellent location, however, it is severely understaffed and the beds are terrible! Haven’t been able to sleep well because of the poor quality of the mattresses and pillows. If this issue was solved I would give it a much higher rating, but not having a comfortable bed makes it very hard to enjoy our stay.

Average hotel room, no mini fridge, which would have been a plus when your on a road trip. Room was clean, and everything worked fine. Love the central location, walk to most every thing.

• Traveling4Broz (10/5): Perfect Location in Vail Village! - Our family stayed in a 3 BR/3 BA condo at the Lodge Tower (Apt. 385 - 391). The condo was very nice, clean, spacious and had amazing views of the Vail slopes. Gondola 1 was right next door with ski valet, which was very convenient for our ski days. Condo location was perfect, just a short walking distance to all restaurants and shops. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us in the condo. The condo featured a Bavarian style of decor. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots & pans and seemed to have been updated recently. It was open to the family room which was appreciated by the "cook". The stone fireplace was also a nice touch. (They supplied firewood and starters daily) The Master Bedroom had a comfortable bed with access to the balcony, the 2nd Bedroom had double full beds and the 3rd bedroom had a full bed and a pull out sofa bed. The pull out sofa bed was actually very comfortable for a sofa bed and had a thick memory foam mattress. There is no laundry room in any of the units, however, they have guest laundry on the 5th floor (pay per load) and it is stocked with detergent and dryer sheets. This was very much appreciated for a family with young kids. The front desk staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful. They also offered to grocery shop for us! They have self serve coffee, tea, & hot chocolate all hours of the day. The breakfast was included and it was great. Everything was individually packaged (Covid-19) and there were plenty of choices in food. (Fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, etc...) Our kids loved the afternoon snacks (Chips, Cookies, Fruits) that were sitting out daily. This was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all of us! Also, there was an amazing PIRATE SHIP playground right behind Gondola 1. Our kids LOVED it!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge Tower and look forward to our next trip. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
