  This modern Caribbean-style bungalow has a private entrance and free private parking. It features a living-dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and oven, a large fridge, microwave and coffee machine. There is 1 king bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a private bathroom with a rain shower and hairdryer. A laptop safe, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and flat-screen cable TV are also provided. Outside there is a private garden and a large patio with a hammock and a shaded dining area with teak furniture. BBQs can be provided on request. • Karla (6/5): It was a short stay. - The house and room looked like pictures online. The hospitality of the staff was great! The bed was not comfortable. It’s walking distance to the beach but it’s good 20 minutes (if not more)walk through the neighborhood streets and across the BUSY main street. We ended up booking a hotel closer to the beach and restaurants after staying one night. If you’re looking to live in a neighborhood experience this is the place and I would suggest renting a car.
• Carina (10/5): Magnífico lugar - El dpto estaba muy completo, licuadora, tostadora, pava eléctrica, vajilla, utensilios, toallas de mano y cuerpo, toallas de playa; heladera para playa y sillas para playa. Excelente la ubicación y la comunicación con Marlon. Que estuvimos 2 días con agua fria para la ducha, porque algo no estaba funcionando bien. Allí tienen calefon solar y un sistema de ayuda para que salga bien caliente. Algo no funcionó pero al tercer día se arreglo
• Hannah (10/5): The staff (Marlon) was so kind to us and a fount of good advice and a true and proud islander. - A simply appointed apartment, well-equipped, which let us do as much for ourselves as we wanted to do. It was also about ten minutes from the mall on Palm Beach and fifteen minutes’ walk from the beach. Not a thing.

• Y (5/5): Locatie is goed - De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk, het appartement is groot en badlakens waren aanwezig voor het strand. De geur in het appartement was niet te doen - de septictank geur was maximaal aanwezig. Ook de douche wax niet goed het water was te heet en niet instelbaar, waardoor je er niet onder kon staan.
• Brianna (10/5): - This was the perfect place for my first solo trip! Safe, quiet neighborhood but a 5 minute drive to all the action by palm beach. My accommodation had everything I could need, bath and beach towels, refrigerator, even a kettle. Comfy bed, couch & a dining table. The host was excellent at communicating how to get to my room (there’s no reception) and I loved that you couldn’t get in the property without the key! I would highly recommend this place to solo travelers or anyone that doesn’t want to be in the mix of everything.

• Paul (10/5): - Sigh. A really chill, clean and unique way to experience aruba. You have easy access to the bussle of the hotels and strip. The beach is a beautiful short walk. And of course when youve had enough, retreat back to your private, quiet homebase at carinas apartments. Walk down to the roundabout if you aren't comfortable crossing the road as a short cut. Enjoy yourself.

• 826sunshine2016 (10/5): Great value for Palm Beach area - Lovely place. 10 minute walk to the beach. Take the short cut through the grassy area. Look for 2 big rocks and follow the path. Much faster and easier. Cross the road and you will be at the side of the shopping mall. Marlon was an excellent host. She answered my questions through WhatsApp before I even arrived and responded promptly during my stay too. The place is clean, cozy and close to all the restaurants. If you want to stay in Palm Beach and dont mind a short walk to the beach this place will save you a lot of money. I liked that there was a locked gate for safety. I felt safe the entire time I was there including the walk to the beach. The only minor complaint I had was that the water for showering wasn’t as hot as I would like it. However it was good enough. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back again.
• Diana (10/5): - This modest apartment is well situated and in a quiet neighborhood (some issue with the dogs barking but it didn’t cause any problems). It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the “strip” where all the restaurants and boutiques are. It has the basic necessities of an apartment and Marlon was very helpful and welcoming. Aruba is a VERY expensive island. (For ex: it costs $40US to rent a beach umbrella for the day and $10 per chair! Grocery stores nearby are also very expensive). But, this apartment is very affordable compared to other options.

For us, it is important to stay in a clean place, close to the beach and public transportation, which is exactly what this place offers. Also, Marlone, who manages the location, is a special person, exactly what you need when you are away from home in a place you are about to discover.

• Victor (10/5): Great Studio! - Cariñas was our home away from home while we visited Aruba. Our friendly host Marlon is an amazing human being, and she made the check in process so smooth. She gave us great tips about the local area and even booked us a taxi back to the airport on our way out. The nice studio has everything you need and is a short walk to the beach and all the top restaurants and shops on Palm Beach. It was very clean and quiet, and the bed is firm for anyone who prefers this type of bed. We felt very safe throughout our stay and would absolutely stay there again next time we’re in Aruba. Thanks again Marlon for everything!!
• Coco (6/5): Expensive for what it is but solid. Needs a little refinement. - The internet worked well and was fast. It was quiet and mellow. The bed was comfy and had good pillows and the AC worked well. The host was very friendly. Check in was easy. It was ok but for the price I would have expected more. It seemed a little loveless and cheap materials. The sofa has this cheap polyester material and weird red an black color. The blanket on the bed was pure polyester. The lightbulb in the lamp next to the bed was very cold blue light. The shower water temperature was between very hot and too cold and nothing in between. One is right next to other rooms of the same kind so there is less privacy outside than I had hoped. All small things but for the price I would have just thought to not have those things.

• Gaquasha (10/5): - I am very happy we chose to stay at Carinas place. It was in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the beach. Although very safe, it is dark at night and you have to cross a road, so I'd recommend renting a car or having a driver for any nighttime activities. They have everything you need! Very friendly hosts! I can't thank Marlon enough for her recommendations and hospitable attitude!

• Jose (10/5): - Marlon our hostess was extremely friendly and always aware of us and our needs. She gave us tips on the Island and made us feel right at home. If you need to stay in a quiet peaceful place away from the hustle but in walking distance from all of the attractions (beach, restaurants shops) then I would definitely recommend Cariñas. The only downside is that the property needs urgent maintenance, there´re a lot of humidity satins on the wall, bath towels look super old and we had like 3 bulbs flickering through out the whole stay. Other than that, it is a great place ti stay.
• Brittany (8/5): - My husband and I stayed here in September and had a great time. The housekeeping services were great, we had everything we needed in the room. This would be a nice option for mulitple families that couldnt find a house to rent or wanted some separation to rent multiple units. I will say that we were very happy to be the only ones there so during peak season with all the units booked it may not be as quiet. The best part was our host, Marlon. She helped us with anything we needed, was very kind and quick to respond! We would go back to Aruba to see Marlon 😁 it is close to the busiest part of the island but still quiet. We preferred the quieter beaches so just used a car rental to drive to those beaches, which Marlon told us about !

Once she came and met us she instantly made us feel at home giving us advice and even offering us a ride. She sat and talked to us and was just the sweetest person ever. The apartment itself is perfect in size . Just what you need while vacationing. It's close walking distance to town and beach . The locked gate to enter the apartments made you feel safe.
• valbusc (10/5): Quiet Oasis a 7min Walk From Palm Beach! - I stayed at Cariñas for over a month and was so happy with my visit! Pam and Mike were terrific hosts and had answers to all of my questions and tips for the area, and Marlon was such a lovely and accommodating property manager. Cariñas is a quick, 7min walk away from Palm Beach and is in a safe neighborhood (I say this as a woman who does a lot of solo traveling who felt very comfortable walking home at night alone), and it's conveniently located near all of the Palm Beach restaurants and bars. Beach chairs and snorkel gear are provided. I highly recommend staying here!

I regret that I did not have peaceful sleep. - Nice gated property with amenities like patio chairs, laundry lines, beach chairs, beach towels, & snorkel gear. Marlon was very friendly and helpful with welcoming me and providing an introduction to my unit. There was coffee, tea, sugar, and filters in the kitchen. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, and dishware. There was a hair dryer and iron/ironing board available. There is a smart TV with cable television channels in the room. There is a safe in the closet but the combination locking feature did not work; however, there was a key that sufficed. I regret that the unit was very noisy in many respects. The refrigerator and air conditioner made constant noise throughout the night; I do not sleep well with noise so I repeatedly had to turn them down and off, respectively. The bathroom vent made constant knocking/banging noises from the wind; I buffered that a little by putting a towel over and under the closed door, but it was still discernible. The walls are very thin and there is a lot of loud local car traffic at all hours. Neighborhood dogs barked all night and into the morning. I am very glad that I brought ear plugs; they were a necessity.
• Tiffany (10/5): - This property is a little cheaper for a reason- it’s simple, a bit dated, and no extras like a pool or hot tub- but that was perfect for us. I prefer to spend more money on food & activities! It was so convenient to walk a few blocks to all the action and night life. It was myself & my teen kid- we walked back nightly around 10pm & never felt unsafe. Very peaceful area- except the dog that lives next door barked every morning around 6am for almost an hour. The owner and property manager were so helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again! My only real issue was GPS kept trying to take us in a road that is not a road. But it only took a day to memorize the route in to the neighborhood from the fast food restaurant down the street!

• Maia (10/5): Great place to stay, top 10 in hospitality - The manager - Marlone, was so nice to us. She was very help full when we needed help, at any time. She gave us the best tips and suggestions - Pika's restaurant was the best one. She borough us a snorkel, that make the trip so much better. The room was very comfortable, great size, they clean everyday and change the towels. This was really nice, since we used the towels for beaches as well. Marlone also arranged our taxi to the airport on our way back. Thank you so much! Despite the location was very close to everything, it was a 10min walk from Palm Beach center. We didn't rent a car, and in the firsts days was super ok to walk around but in the lasts days we were very tired to make the way back home. Also we couldn't find any supermarkets near by, we needed to walk to the other way - not the same way to main attractions).

• 779p_lr (10/5): A Tranquil Tropical Paradise at Cariñas Studio Apartments - We just returned from an amazing 8-night stay at Cariñas Studio Apartments in Noord, Aruba, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Nestled just a couple of blocks away from the bustling high-rise hotels and picturesque beaches, this two-bedroom bungalow provided the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility for our family of three. The location was ideal, placing us within a leisurely 10-15 minute walk from the nearest beach. While crossing the main road felt a little busy, it was an easy adjustment given the overall peacefulness of Aruba. A similar short walk brought us to the local supermarket, conveniently located amidst familiar American fast food outlets including Wendy's, McDonald's, and Domino's, providing an array of options for those moments when we felt like a quick bite. The area was remarkably quiet, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of island life. The bungalow was well-equipped and meticulously maintained, providing everything we needed for our stay. An unexpected but delightful surprise was the array of beach supplies available for our use - from snorkeling gear and beach towels to cooler bags and beach chairs. It felt like we had our own personal beach picnic set, which greatly enriched our beach days. The air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room proved invaluable in the Aruban heat and humidity. It ensured our utmost comfort throughout our stay, offering a pleasant retreat after long days of exploring and beaching. Our host was beyond helpful and consistently quick in responding to all our queries. Their attentive and accommodating nature greatly contributed to the seamless and enjoyable nature of our vacation. Our 12-year-old son, in particular, found the experience captivating and is eager to return. Overall, our stay at Cariñas Studio Apartments exceeded our expectations. • Dimitar (10/5): - We stayed at the 2-bedroom villa. Very spacious, very comfortable, had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, beach chairs, beach towels, toiletries were provided. The location is very good - about 5-10 min drive to the beach. One of the best restaurants we've been - Wacky Wahoo, is on a 10min waking distance. The owner, Ron, was very easy to communicate with. Marlon, the property manager, was very nice and helpful. Definitely will come back to this property and recommend it to everybody.

The apartment it's just a walking distance to the Palm Beach and all the bars and restaurants. I appreciated practical beach chairs and snorkelling equipment. There is a "forest" short cut to get through. I've used it all the time and although alone I felt very safe even in the night. Also bus stop close available to go to any place of the island. My favourite was Divi beach with quiet adult amazing resort and sunbeds, cabanas, wifi for free. Very happy with my stay <3
• D8404ILmarinak (10/5): My best vacation was in Aruba - Aruba is the place to fell in love. Carinas is very nice and cozy place. I don't like the big chain of hotels, where is too many people, so if you like smaller places this is for you. In Carinas you will have only five neighbors. Marlon is amazing person, kind and very helpful, upon arriving you get your cold beer lol, very clean apartment with everything you need: towels, bath supplies, beach cheers, snorkeling equipment and etc. The only thing I didn't like its too many mosquitoes, but Melon provided mosquitoes spray, which helped me throw the nights. She advised so many good restaurants with the most delicious local food and etc, it felt like home. Its 10 mins walk away from Palm beach. Its better to cross the road near to Wendy's. There is pedestrian crosswalk, where the cars stops and safely you can to cross very busy road. There is so many restaurants around apartment, local stores in walk distance, very convenient.

• travelingoutofthebox (10/5): Great Option for Families! - We stayed at the bungalow at Cariñas over the Christmas holiday 2022 and had a wonderful week! We are a family of four so the two bedroom bungalow was perfect for our needs. It was so nice to have a full kitchen, living room and front porch. We used every inch of the space!! The owner, Ron, and his hostess Marlon were so helpful from the moment I booked. Once we arrived Marlon was an amazing hostess. She assisted us with any and all questions we had (I just had to message her on WhatsApp), and I had a lot since it was our first visit to Aruba! She made sure to point out the beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, cooler, etc. Cariñas also provides housekeeping once during the week and that was such a nice treat! You expect that when staying at a hotel or resort, but not always when renting a home/condo. The only thing we wished for was a washer/dryer. It would be wonderful if a service could be offered for those interested (but not a necessity)! Marlon did tell me where the closest laundromats were located :) We highly recommend Cariñas!! Aruba is a beautiful country with amazing people.

We really liked the amenities such as the beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, and kitchen. The courtyard is very beautiful too. We often sat outside for breakfast and dinner
• Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - The place is perfect. The rooms are huge. Its cleaned every third day and you get fresh towels and sheets. It's a 6 Minutes walk to the nearest beach. That is the part of the beach in front of the Holiday Inn and there you have free WiFi on the beach. Arashi beach is also close by, like 5 Minutes by car. The place where you have to cross the road to get to the beach has a guy selling coconuts, so you can get a cool drink on your way to the beach. Marlon is a superb manager of the place. Don't be a smart ass, just ask for anything you need and you will get all the information you need. She organised our car rental, told us to what restaurants to go to, where to buy stuff we need. They provided us with snorkeling equipment, so you don't have to bring your own. The WiFi was great. We just loved it.

We stayed a week at the Carinas apartment, we had a great time, Mrs. Marlon and Mr. Ron welcomed us as friends, the apartment contains everything necessary for a 5-star stay and any of our wishes were immediately fulfilled. Ms. Marlon responded to any request at any time and was ready to help us at any time. The apartment was spotless and super comfortable, equipped with sun loungers for the beach, towels for the sea and masks for snorkelling, every 3 days the room is cleaned. Much better than a 5 star hotel, we will be returning and recommending it to our family members.

• Corell (8/5): - The property was very clean, well kept and in a quiet residential area. Only 5 minutes walk to all the major hotels/ beaches and palm beach mall. You can also walk to eagle beach. The one thing I didn’t really like was the queen bed was two separate beds join together. Guess this is ok if you are not a actual couples. Not sure if all the room are like that. Otherwise the beds were very comfortable.

• Vas388 (10/5): Amazing Stay, Amazing Staff! - My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Carinas Studio Apartments! Unfortunate for us, our flight landed on the day of an expected storm (which never happens in Aruba!), however, Marion kept us well informed when arriving and kindly handed us refreshments as we braced for the night ahead. Luckily the storm passed the next day and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. The apartment was spotless and came with fresh beach towels and a scuba diving set. Not only this it's a short 10-minute walk to palm beach! I was also particularly blown away with how helpful Marion was. When departing to leave to our next hotel, Marion kindly arranged a taxi for us as well as called the hotel to see if we could store our luggage in a safe place whilst checking in early. Overall great stay with amazing staff!

• Lily (6/5): - Carinas has a great location and is close to the main strip and beaches. However the shortest path cuts through a highway and unpaved path, which feels sketchy after dark. In addition, we had a couple issues at the beginning and end of our stay that dampened the experience. When we first arrived, the bed was set up with two twins instead of a king like we reserved. It was fixed quickly, but we found out that a "king" bed is just two twins pushed together with a large sheet over them. Then, on the day of checkout, we were woken up at 8:30AM by the property manager who said she wasn't able to contact us and was wondering if we needed a taxi called. I checked my phone and she had texted me 6 minutes before knocking on the door. While this was a nice gesture, she should have reached out the night before or sometime not at 8AM and found out we had already called our own. Furthermore, the bathroom emitted weird smells the whole time and we had to close the door so it didn't spread to the rest of the room. The bathroom window was not fully covered and we had to put a towel over it ourselves. I'd recommend Carinas for the location, but would not come back again for reasons mentioned above. It did not meet my expectations for a clean, relaxing place to stay while on vacation.

She offered complimentary drinks on arrival, and was available throughout the stay if needed. The room was well stocked with beach towels and chairs, cooking utensils, and even a blender for smoothies. The patio was a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy the breeze. I would stay here again for sure!
• Joseph (10/5): Perfect Apartment! - We had an amazing experience at Cariñas for nine days while staying in Aruba. Fully equipped apartment, ready for any kind of trip. We cooked breakfast in our kitchen most mornings to save some money on food. The owners and hostess are all super friendly and hospitable. The semiweekly cleaning is smooth and thorough. The location is great: just minutes from the beach and all sorts of restaurants, but in a calm and quiet residential area. Absolutely zero complaints. I would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Aruba.

• Charles (10/5): We will be back to this place! - This place is fabulous. My favorite place I’ve stayed on the island! Walking distance to the high-rise District, shops and entertainment, wacky Wahoos, and do look for an Italian restaurant that is not advertised called Anna Maria‘s-also a short walk. We stayed in the Bungalow which was spacious and very clean. The property is well managed and we enjoyed welcome drinks upon arrival. Also walking distance to the beach or a short drive to one of several noteworthy beaches. Great private porch area including a hammock tied to a couple of palm trees. If I had to give any knock it is I did not find the bed very comfortable, but my son said his was very comfortable. So this is more a matter of preference. I’ll try his bed next time, as this place has three beds in two bedrooms. Also a complete kitchen with all of the amenities.

The bed was comfortable and the street was peaceful. The location was great for access to Palm Beach which is an easy walk away. I would highly recommend staying here.
• Kyle (10/5): AWESOME - We LOVED the Carinas bu Gamow. Our first visit to Aruba and the location was awesome. 5 minute or so walk to the beach but you do have to cross a fairly busy road. Accommodations were great and we especially enjoyed the shower. Bu Gamow has 4 beach chairs and a couple of coolers along with freezer packs. These all really came in handy and were appreciated. There are TVs in both bedrooms and in the family room though we didn’t really use them. Marlon was very responsive to our few texts. Helped us with restaurant recommendations and called a taxi for us to get back to the airport. We would stay here again in a nanosecond. Couldn’t have been happier.
