Finestra su muro, condizionatore ogni sera ho dovuto chiamare la reception per farlo funzionare inoltre è molto rumoroso se sì apre la finestra ci sono i motori degli altri condizionatori fuori ed è peggio chiusi dentro si muore dal caldo. Il comando della doccia era pieno di calcare che ho dovuto sbloccarlo da solo perché dalla reception mi avevano detto di aspettare ma non sapevano quanto. Colazione di tipo turco non offre scelta per altri gusti. Personale disponibile.

- Carrie (10/5): Clean, great staff, excellent breakfast - The front desk and bellhops were so friendly and available to help. I felt welcomed and cared for. The room was perfect for my short stay and adequate storage for a longer stay. The bedding was very clean and comfortable and nathroom was equipped with fluffy towels and lots of supplies. Breakfast was better than I expected! A great way to start the day in a bright airy room with delicious coffee, bread and many healthy delights.

Description: My stay at this hotel was a total disappointment. First off, the room was very different from what was advertised on their website – small, dirty and with old furniture. There were stains on the sheets and the floor didn't seem to have been cleaned well. But, the bathroom had a musty smell, and the shower didn't work properly. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Every time I approached them with a request or problem, it seemed like I was annoying them. The service was unacceptable for a hotel that claims to offer high customer standards. In addition, the room's air conditioner does not work, the noise of the air conditioner kept me awake at night, I swear to God Clearly, the whole time in this hotel was disastrous. Not worth it at any price, and will advise to avoid this place at all costs.
- F5452TE_ (2/5): Horrible 👎🏼 - There is dirty toilets, bad staff, the AC isn't working 😕 the room is smelling on cigarettes. The wardrobe is out of the wall 🧱. The wallpapers are wriped off. The staff didn't found us on the computer. The cable of the stationary phone is cut. The lamp in the bathroom has rust on it. And finally the outside of the AC is very dirty. I would say that this hotel is overpriced.
- eldab447 (2/5): Horrible - The hotel was very old when we got into the room we saw that it was very dirty The sheets were very dirty the pillowcases also. we went to times in the reception and and told him about the dirtiness, and he didn’t even approach us The toilet was also dirty There was no hot water we slept five days without pillowcases and without the sheets. no one came to clean our room but we had two times people coming inside of our room by accident. It’s really messed up. I want to recommend coming here. It’s a waste of money.

- 351rezaj (4/5): Unpleasant but good location - This was my second trip in this hotel.the location is very good , near to metro and istiklal street.the price is acceptable. But very unpleasant and not freindly stuff. When i arrived to hotel , the tour agency had reserved the rooms but had not paid the hotel fee yet. The recieption didnt hrlp znd with z very bad manner told we give your roons to somdbody else and you should go.it needed only 2 hours to pay and solve the problem. They didnt clean the rooms during 5 day I stayed there! Fixed breakfast without any change with bad quality cheese and sausage.
- Aiche (2/5): Bad Hotel - I was traveled this hotel alone, and they gave me one room for single, when I saw the room i returned immediately back to the reception for ask an another room. The receptionist said hotel is full an no chance to change. Room was about 10 m2. and I explained him that i have panic attack, and I have to change this room, no reaction, not interest. Luckily i have another friend in the hotel, i slept in her room. Bathrooms was molded, dirty,hairdryer was broken and black, and very small..Room was smelling cigarettes from previous guest, wall was dirty, air condition was to loud and view of the rooms was wall from next to building. Breakfast room was very simple and not so much choice..The breakfast lady was very kind and helpful. The only thing in this hotel was location, all other things you can forget it.

Unprofessional and not pleasant. - Before attending this hotel i had tried to book through booking.com but due to banking issues couldnt therefore, i bad called the hotel from London to find out daily price which was told to me 250tl per night. Anyway eventually i booked and made a reservation requesting to pay at the door. So on my arrivall i was told 300tl per night. They added a totall of 200tl of profit for the sake of it. We was greated in the worse possible most unprofessional way. We sayed in a room which stank of sweat, cigarets and just looked dirty. Pictures are definetly a deception. The door lock was broken, toilet lighting broken, towels were stained. What more can i say. If only i was to know the area better wouldnt have stayed a second longer. Just an extra note, on my leave while waiting for the taxi people would walk in to get prices and the same man who argued with my self and ny cousin prices being 300tl was now telling people 225tl per night. Worse and last visit here.
- 97armine (2/5): Bad service - We were in Pera Arya hotel for 3 nights. It had internet in rooms and good location. But, the room was so small for 3 person and the beds were placed so tightly next to each other. So, there were a little space to put our luggage or even walk!!! The breakfast was so usual and if you wanted water, you should have take it from a reservoir which put on the ground. If anything was run out, we had to inform the person in charge to serve it by ourselves. The receptionist could hardly speak English. Overall, I do not advice this hotel to anyone.
- 127nassima (6/5): You simply get what you pay for - Pera Arya Hotel is situated in a very convenient place. It's only minutes away from Istiklal street. Our room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean, too. Usually these two items are the most important things when we are looking for a hotel. Location and cleanliness. Well, Pera Arya has got both. But the rooms are a bit small and they haven't got any safe boxes for your valuable belongings. But fortunately, we didn't lose anything. Breakfast includes the basics. Two kinds of cheese, coffee and tea, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, boiled eggs, cold cuts, and bread. They sometimes have simit, too. But there's no fresh fruit or borek or hot pastry. The breakfast room is small and sunny. But some of the plates and dishes are chipped! The staff are kind and helpful. They speak English and if you ask them for something, they will try to help you with it. If you are going to spend all your day outside, shopping and sightseeing and you're only looking for a quiet place to rest at night, and you don't want to spend a lot, well, this can be the place for you!

- Navigate549330 (4/5): Good location - I stayed there for one night. Room was tiny, tv had limited options with a poor picture quality. And be careful: no wifi in rooms!! Only in lobby. Breakfast was brief. Staff were nice and polite. Positive point was the location near to isteklal.
- gezi3 (4/5): Much better choices for similar rates - Great location, fine stay, but low cleanliness level. In the bedroom there were stains on the wall, holes in the pillowcases, lots of black mold in the shower, and a dirty paper towel left on the hairdryer. The shampoo and body wash came in unlabeled containers and there was no soap. No tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast was basic cold Turkish breakfast with low quality tea and only one cheese type. You can find much nicer places at similar rates- for example the place nextstore, which we stayed at before, Sanat Hotel.
- H9737QVannaa (8/5): Great location, budget stay - The location always matters to me and here it was just perfect! The street is quite but really steps away from bustling İstiklal. At check in we were offered to upgrade to Suit for 50 TL, but in the end the reception manager gave it to ya for free. The room wasn’t anything special, just extra space with a sofa. We overslept breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. All in all, very good for a one-two nights stay.
- phooks15 (10/5): Great Location, Great Value - This hotel is a few meters away from party central, Istiklal St. Lots of great shopping, restaurants, bars. If you don't like the noise, then this is not the place for you. But the area is very vibrant. Behind the hotel is a series of different clubs and bars that will cater to almost anyone. A little difficult to get to on a Saturday night, as the taxis are reluctant to go to Istiklal. But you can get there by going to the Marmara hotel and it is just around the corner, or you can take the bus from the airport to Taksim square and walk about 10 blocks. The hotel is very efficient with it's use of space. Our room has a door that opens to a mini balcony. The free breakfast is sufficient. The staff is hit or miss, as they seem to work long hours. And the price for what you get is definitely a plus. I would surely stay at this hotel again.
- 857gaill (6/5): a disaster at first - We booked ahead of arrival and had to pay for four nights, so when we arrived to find scaffolding with guys right outdide banging loadly on pipes, we figured oh well, they will quit at 5pm. No such luck, so we asked for a room on other side of building. They said hotel was booked, but later that day had moved us into room that looked better, except for broken shower door. Later that night we discovered mattress was lumpy, and there was no box spring, but under dreadful mattress were a pile of old fabric and board fallen to floor....I had to share my partner's twin bed. Finally, the third night, we had an ok bed and shower that worked, but overall it was the worst hotel of our six week trip. Breakfast included was pretty good, but location was challenging, if you want to visit main attractions. We got competent with public transportation, but it takes an hour round trip to get there. There is a hip neighborhood close by, which is fun. I gave them 3 stars for effort, but in Istanbul, pay a little more and stay near Blue Mosque, Topkapi and enjoy all those fabulous sites within walking distance. Another tip, in April Turkey has great weather, low prices and lower visitation, so no need to book ahead. Check out beds, baths, ask re. Hot water and wifi...and price is negotiable, the more nights the lower the price. Our favorite hotels were pensions that we discovered upon arrival. Turkey is wonderful, the people, the food, the land, the archeological sites and museums. Enjoy!
- JonathanP164 (6/5): As expected, thanks to the other reviews - A few things are paramount to me when booking a Hotel: location, price, shower, room for myself and sleep quality. This Hotel meets them all. I read what other travelers were moaning about, like the receptionists not speaking English and a question went through my mind a few times when seeing them bored behind the reception: why don´t they use the time to learn English???? Conclusion, don't expect your questions answered because the communication will be non existent. By the way, the daytime receptionist looked unfriendly but the night one was very smiley and welcoming. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day (I knew about this from other travelers reviews), but this didn't really bother me. The breakfast room on the roof terrace felt cosy though and was quiet most of the days, nice for a peaceful start of the day. My room window lead to a brick wall, but I saw the positive side about this: no light coming through the window in the morning (which really helped me sleeping better). The room was very quiet. The bed was old but comfortable and the cleaning ladies came every day. The room (tiny by the way), especially the bathroom, could do with some refurbishment, but this didn't bother me either. There was a rotting small fridge and table in the corner, I'd suggest the owners changing it because it just doesn't look nice (don't move it!! it´s full of dust and dirt in the back). For 28 pounds a night, in such GREAT location between Galata Bridge and Sticklal road (where all the shops, clubs, etc. are) you could just not ask for more. My friend was paying 40 pounds a night for a close by and better hotel. Hotels in Istanbul are expensive, this isn't. Would I stay again? yes, IF I was on a tight budget, otherwise no (worth paying 10/12 more a night).
- Bys89 (8/5): Really Good depending on you - When i first read the reviews up here I got a bit worried, but honestly when i got there it wasn't as bad as depicted. I found the staff to be nice, i greet them on my way in and out and they smile. The thing that I can say bothered me was my window view; a Brick wall. But hey, that's one good way to make sure no burglar is going to be climbing into my window. To me it felt more as if i rented my own studio rather than an hotel room. The cleaning lady came on the third day to change the trash but it's not like the trash was full anyways, and my room was kept tidy, It's more on the do-it-yourself kinda place. the location is SUPERB to be frank between galata tower and taksim. As for the breakfast, it was cute. small range as previously mentioned in here but enough to get u full and started on your day. I only use my room to sleep and shower cz it comes a bit small to actually hang out in it. I can easily say im satisfied, and im glad it turned out to be the way it is because im more of the type that like to have a studio than an hotel room. P.s: Im stayin there for 21 nights oh and one more thing, booking it through booking.com was cheaper than their price (40$/night vs 33$)
- abyl_12 (2/5): i dont recommend this hotel - I dont recommend this hotel at all. it is rated as three stars but it is actually less than that. the only good thing about is its location which is like seconds from istiklal street in Taksim, but there are other hotels in the same area which you can look into. we booked a double room but we ended up staying in a triple room. when we told them to change our room, they indicated that they have no other rooms available. there was no mini bar, just a small fridge that started leaking on our second day. they dont provide new sheets everyday. the room was not cleaned as it should. the phone did not work. the staff dont know English..they did not provide us with new towels.. i really think that the hotel is overpriced and we could have stayed in a much better hotel for what we have paid
