Guest Reviews
- Janice (8/5): Super little apartment, a bit smaller than we expected but otherwise very good -
- Kristina (10/5): Finest place in Moab - The facility is clean and cozy. Lots of amenities. A great place to relax on a nice street. Walking distance to Main St. was an added bonus. Ended up staying an additional week. Nothing. The place is excellent.
- Kristy (10/5): - Loved having 2 bathrooms with extra towels and bathrobes, outdoor patio, and great location.
- LAURA (7/5): - Convenient location. Quiet. Comfortable.
Really enjoyable stay in Moab.
- Cathy (8/5): Great trip to Moab! - Location was excellent.
- Sydney (10/5): Hidden cottage gem just a couple blocks to downtown/ main street! - Cali Cochitta was such a gem! I'm so glad I found this place. Everywhere I go I look for a quaint little place walking distance to downtown and this place was perfect. It was warm and cozy (I visited in Dec). Hot tub was clean and easy to access. The kitchenette had everything I needed (does not have a stove, but does have a microwave, coffee maker and fridge), and the place was clean a quiet. It's a little cottage that shares a common yard with a few other small houses, which would have been fun in fall or spring to meet new people, but was quiet in the off-season (which suited me just fine). I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Moab! Nothing negative to say!
- Thomad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (8/5): - Overall we were happy with this casita. It had a small living area with a few stairs up to the sleeping area. The bathroom was tiny which was a little too tight for my 6 foot husband. Everything was clean and it was within walking distance to restaurants and around 10 minutes to Arches. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The pictures must be old because the furniture and bedding are different than in the pictures. The outside lawn area was well maintained and peaceful. My only real complaint was that I was emailed saying that my credit card had been declined because of a bad security code and that I owed for our room. I had already paid when I booked. When I tried contacting the host to clear things up she didn’t answer and she never called me back. I just hope they don’t try to charge me again.
- DIANE (10/5): - Great lication and a cute and relaxing setting.
- Brian (10/5): - Great place. Two (very large) blocks off the main drag. Quiet, and easy walking distance to downtown. The place was clean and well-appointed. Very happy with my stay!
- Gregory (8/5): Quite neighborhood and close to everything. Highly recommend. - Very quaint and in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of personal touches. All good
- Stanley (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (9/5): Great property, highly recommended. - Great location, lovely garden at the property. A little small but still very good.
- Anna (9/5): Cosy, small ( it space well used) home-from-home appt. - Compact but well thought out appt with lovely communal gardens in a suburban corner plot, just 3 mins walk from main strip of shops and red Sadly, noisy other guests enjoying the large outdoor table beneath our bedroom window until 2am detracted from our stay.
- Stephen (6/5): - The property was great but the communication was non-existent. We got there, logged into their online app and it said we hadn't paid(we'd paid in full through expedia weeks earlier). It gave us a # to call- tried multiple times, left a message, sent a text, never even got the courtesy of a reply. After an hour working with the Expedia Rep, they were somehow able to reach the manager and we finally got our access code. Still never heard from the manager. No apology, nothing...
- Joy (10/5): - The guest house was perfect for us. It was a beautiful place to come home too after playing in Canyonlands all day every day. In addition, it was close to the ball field where we watched the local fireworks for independence day.
- Matt (10/5): - Very quaint room. Perfect for what we wanted to do in Moab.
- Paul (8/5): - Nice property close to stores and dining. Responsive management too.
Only issues were shower handle needs attention and more towels would be great.
Allround nice experience
- Karel (6/5): - The Garden Cottage is very small (just big enough for two,) but nicely designed. The location is good for visiting Arches and Canyonlands. The owner/manager is not easily accessible. The heating in the cottage is very noisy; loud banging all night. When we finally were able to reach her she told us to put on a fan to create white noise. She also advised that there is no onsite manager and we should not expect her to respond. There was a storm while we were there and internet was down and not restored until after we checked out. We would have enjoyed the tiny cottage if not for the noise and manager’s attitude
- Mike (8/5): Great stay - The place was clean and very comfortable. If and when we return to Moab we will stay a Cali Cochitta again.
- Tricia (10/5): Cozy home away from home - Fabulous little hidden gem! It was home away from home and a couple blocks away from Main Street. We will definitely be back 😍 the court yard was so beautiful and a nice place to relax.
- Amanda (8/5): Small space - I did not feel the description truly depicted how small the space is. It really is too small for 3 people. I am a very experienced traveler and read the description completely but I was shocked at how small the space was when we arrived. Once we got over that, it was a pleasant stay and the property was beautiful and other guests at other cottages were quiet and respectful. The location is superb and cannot be beat. My only other suggestion would be to have more kitchen supplies (silverware, plates, etc).
- John (10/5): A slice of paradise - We felt like we were home immediately upon arrival. Charm, clean and roomy. We will be sure to return!
- Igor (10/5): - The proprietor, Becky, was very helpful in resolving issues related to the reservation and provided us with advice on how to best enjoy Moab. Definitely would recommend this property to my friends traveling to this area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cute place :)
Bed was comfortable.
Quiet location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cosy cottage stay - You get all the details about your stay via email before checking in - where to park, the code to get in, Wifi info, etc. It made it super easy to just walk right up and unlock the room when we were ready to check-in. The Willow Cottage was very cute, and the backyard with tables, chairs and hammocks was very nice to relax in for meals and between activities. The room even had an ice maker which was very nice to put in water bottles/coolers to fight the desert heat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location was great. Cottage was roomy, clean, and very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute Cottage Feel - Place was amazing, cozy and clean. Definitely will stay here again
- Jeffrey (10/5): - With some hesitation, we came to Moab as the coronavirus pandemic was taking off. The owner, Becky, let us know she had thoroughly cleaned the room before we arrived and left a package of Chlorox wipes in the room so we could continue to wipe things down. Our reservation was for multiple days, and when we started to run low on some supplies in the room they made sure to deliver more to us. The house and grounds are really nice and conveniently located a couple blocks off the main street in downtown Moab. The room was comfortable and the microwave and mini-fridge came in handy. And the Moab area is spectacular. We felt well taken care of and would definitely love to come back and stay again under more normal circumstances.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cozy Stay, Difficult Finding Door in Dark - The room itself at Cali Cochitta was beautiful - colorful rugs and bedding, nice love seat to relax and watch TV. The mattress was super comfortable and the bathroom was pleasant. There were plenty of little amenities to supplement what we had with - coffeemaker, electric kettle, microwave, mini-fridge.
The main thing I would say is that it wasn't easy to find which room was ours in the dark. There were no lights on outside to illuminate a path and no signage to guide us. The email told me to look at the layout on the website, but I was unable to find one. Eventually we used our phone flashlights and were able to see the label outside the front door, but it was not convenient.
- Wendi Karina (8/5): - Everything was great, but the only thing that could have been better is the lightning in the parking lot and front of cottage. It was hard to see at night too dark.
- Daryl (6/5): - This property has no owner representative on site. Rooms are not made up if you stay two nights. Room amenities are basic. Property is clean and tidy and the yard is very enjoyable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - extremely nice property. Cottage and yard area was amazing. Definity a european experience. Out side very peaceful and quiet most of the time. Landscapers came on sat afternoon and ran gas engines for a .long time...maybe have them come during the week!
- Kimberly (10/5): Quiet Oasis in the Heart of Moab - Cali Cochitta was a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in the Willow Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. The backyard of the property was a little oasis to escape the Moab heat. The property is well maintained and in a quiet part of town, but close enough to Main Street to walk to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. We will definitely be back!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Roach in the shower half dead first morning coffee maker didn’t work
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cottage itself is charming and is stocked with a fridge, microwave and keurig. It is within walking distance of everything in Moab. The condition of the towels was poor and the furniture/interior is very dated and worn. Very low end toiletries. We were there two days and had no room service or replenishing coffee. The common areas need some maintenance. New owner of the property may be getting her bearings. She was responsive.
- Jen (10/5): - What a charming B&B! The breakfast was wonderful and the owner was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend!!
- Scott (10/5): - Very pleasant accommodations. Great location. Staff is very personable and attentive. Breakfast food and conversation with other guests from US and other parts of the world were excellent. Our room was smallish but since we spent most of our time in the local parks, that was not an issue. We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to others visiting the Moab area. And by the way, don't miss the Moab Diner or the Tom Till Photo Gallery, both on Main St.
- Karen (10/5): - What an amazing little oasis away from home. The breakfast was out of this world and the company was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this B&B t anyone visiting the Moab area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The room we stayed in was very comfortable and beautiful. The grounds are very pretty and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect- walk to town and easy drive to Arches national Park which is stunning. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
- Jake (10/5): - Lovely little bnb, within walking distance of downtown Moab. Close to Arches National Park. We had a little difficulty with our air conditioner, and with the owner out of town, the check in person was unable to instruct us on its operation. We finally figured it out, but after the first night. Without this glitch, it would have been a 5 star experience. And, the owner is usually on site.
- Lili (10/5): - Lovely B and B with an idyllic garden and delicious breakfasts
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Top notch B&B! I've already recommended it to friends!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great breakfast.
Need to improve bathroom.
Enjoyed the garden.
- Ed (10/5): Nice B and B near center of Moab - This is our second stay her. Like last time, our host Dave was very helpful and the breakfasts were outstanding. It was a great place to call home base for assorted day trips around Moab. Outstanding!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great B&B in downtown Moab - Location is perfect to walk to restaurants, and the B&B has plenty of off street parking.
The cottage where we stayed was cozy, and breakfast was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience.
- Keith (10/5): Excellent B&B! - Very comfortable B&B situated right in the heart of Moab. Only a few minute drive to the Arches National Park. David is a nice host and is very knowledgeable about Moab and the surrounding area. The breakfast was very good (especially the berry pancakes!) and a great way to start the day. The entire house is nicely decorated and very clean.
- Fred (10/5): Great Hospitality and Great Location - Chris was a wonderful host. He got us dinner reservations in a restaurant where none were to be had! The location is also wonderful. Everything in Moab is walkable after coming in from a day of exploring the parks its great to park the car and walk to dinner, walk to the store etc. The room and grounds were relaxing also the 4 pm glass of wine was a nice touch.
- Eric (10/5): A Special Place - What a treat. Every step of the way it was similar to a "grand hotel" experience in every way. Chris, the inn keeper's encyclopedic knowledge of the opportunities in the area was a godsend. The welcoming warm cookies and red wine were especially appreciated after a long drive. This was our best B&B experience ever!
- Stanley (6/5): Caloi Cochitta-July 30th - AC was noisy to sleep with; too hot to not have it. Food was good. Location was great-very quiet.
- Ross (10/5): - What a cute place in a charming town. Despite the fact that it was more than 100 degrees, we went to eat, enjoyed our little space, and talked to the other guests. We had our dog in our cottage and it was very nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Yes please - We arrived a little early. Chris told us to come on over. Showed us around, "this is your home" he told us. Make yourselves at home. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing place to stay. Willow cottage was very comfortable. We had an early start, Chris offered up sack breakfasts to take away. We will be back.
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect - Chris, the innkeeper, was a fantastic host. Our favorite part of the stay was the family style breakfast, served al fresco, under a pergola with a canopy of wisteria and grape vines.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything about this B&B was fantastic. Imagine the best stay you have ever had, this was better.
- recent guest (6/5): Nice but expensive - Our room was small but comfortable. The "private bath" was misleading - yes it is private but did not like that we had to leave our room to get to it.
- Joe (10/5): Wonderful stay while in Moab. - Can't think of enough good things to say about Cali Cochitta bed and breakfast in Moab, Utah. The quiet location was restful and the grounds were beautiful with flowers, trees, and soft, cool green grass. Numerous seating areas were nestled in various parts of the yard. Even better than this was the Innkeeper, Chris, and his hospitality. He went well beyond expectations in making our visit ,THE BEST, and memorable. The same goes for David, the owner and chef. If and when we get back to Moab, we will definitely stay here !!
- LHD (10/5): Great Stay - I was coming from a great distance and was very tired. I called ahead and the room was ready early. The bed was the most comfortable one I had slept in, While my room was small, everything I needed was there and it was lovely.
The staff, Chris and Susan could not have been nicer. Great Innkeeper as well Helpful with things to do in the area.
- world traveller (10/5): B&B - First B&B alternative to hotel room -awesome and personable
- Patrick (10/5): B&B - Great breakfast!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The decor was charming but well used other than bed was very comfortable. The double doors did not close tightly into the shared quarters so noise & light came in. Poor window coverings so light in room all night. Old stairs squeezed. Street noise. Excellent muffins but rest of breakfast yuppie. The kitchen was right next to our room & cook started early so we all could eat precisely at 8. Overall my $223. Would have Ben better spent on a good nights sleep & a normal breakfast.
- Mary (10/5): Lovely historic home, tastefully decorated - We enjoyed our stay at Cali Cochita. It is well located in the heart of Moab. The room was small but adequate, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The only fly in the ointment was slow wi fi.
