Waking up right in the heart of Istanbul’s vibrant shopping, art, and nightlife scene sounds like a recipe for noise, but guess what? It was blissfully peaceful. The hotel is a little gem — warm, cozy, and full of charm. What really stood out was how hands-on and welcoming the owner and management and staff are. You can tell they genuinely care about every detail, and it shows. Now let’s talk about what truly makes this place shine: it’s sustainably run and certified as a green hotel. That means filtered water instead of plastic bottles (free for guests!) and mindful practices all around. Big win for the planet! Breakfast? Absolutely lovely. It’s not a buffet marathon, but everything is fresh, homemade, and beautifully prepared — quality over quantity, every time. In summer, the hotel opens its big street-facing windows, turning the front area into a laid-back spot to sip coffee or get a little work done. Despite being in the middle of the action, the street stays surprisingly calm. Long story short: if you’re looking for a stay that’s safe, fun, eco-friendly, and full of personality, this is the place to be. Bonus: your carbon footprint gets a vacation too!
• Steeve (8/5): Séjour en mai 2025 - Le personnel est très gentil, très serviable. Le déjeuner est très très bon. Varié et de bon goût. Les lits et la literie confortable. L'hôtel est situé dans une rue très calme près d'Istiklal qui elle, est très achalandé. Nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir. L'hôtel aurait besoin de rénovation. Chambre #13. Siège de toilette cassé , robinetterie fragile, pommeau de douche ne tient pas en place... Mais pour l'instant, ça va encore.

• Anna (6/5): - The rooms are a bit small, recognizing this is an older building. We had tow separate stays, one room had a balcony that faced a brick wall, it held a small table and two chairs. It was nice, but cigarette smoke frequently drifted down from a unit above us. Our second stay had us in a room that had a very narrow frosted window, so it essentially had no window. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The lobby area has a great funky, eclectic vibe. The staff at reception were very helpful and polite. There are lots of dining options in the area.

• Patrice (8/5): - Points forts: l'hôtel est typique, situé en plein quartier animé de Beyoğlu, à proximité de la station de métro Şişhane. Le personnel est agréable et attentionné. Points faibles: il y a bien un balcon mais il n'y a aucune vue car il ouvre sur une petite cour entourée de murs nus. Pour les personnes en déplacement professionnel, il n'existe pas de table et de chaise pour travailler dans la chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est correct sans trop de choix toutefois et, surprise, le jus d'orange est payant, ce qui gâche un peu l'hospitalité compte tenu du prix payé.

• kitiCate3597 (10/5): Cute, Clean, Green and so worth it. - Stayed here before and after our group tour, as this was where we all met and set off from. However, this was a very happy outcome for us. Great location, just off Istiklal Cd in Bayoglu, Istanbul, and close to restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, public transport incl trams, trains, and a taxi rank at either end of the street. Can be noisy at times, but we were there twice for a total of seven nights, and the after-hours noise was gone by 11pm. Staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Rooms are clean, especially the bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable. The included breakfast is delicious, starting and finishing each day at tourist-friendly times.

Location is near a big hotel so taxis are always there. Staff is so accommodating and kind. The rooms are adequate. It really is about the people and their effort to be ecological and helpful. The breakfast is fresh and yummy. The cook is really good. If you want fancy this isn’t your place-if you want a good solid place with helpful people you can’t go wrong.

• 845charlynet (10/5): Great hotel! - Very good hotel, well located if you like Taksim/Istikal street, and if you want to stay somewhere central. The staff is really nice, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are great, well equipped and we had the chance to have a balcony. We loved the buffet breakfast. The neighbourhood is really noisy - especially at night, but it didn't bother us when in the room. Will come back for sure!

• ValeriaCardilloPicc (10/5): Very centric, green and warm welcoming - As a tour leader, it is very important to find someone like Ibrahim, that takes care of you and makes sure your group can have a good time. I am very thankful for his precious advices and presence. The hotel is super well located and had a green mindset that personally I appreciate a lot. The lady cooking breakfast has delighted us and is very sweet.

Nas fotos parece que é tudo novinho mas o quarto que nos ofereceram era velho, com umas fotos medonhas na parede a cama era muito pequena, tinha marcas de mofo no chão e extremamente barulhento. O que piorou ainda mais a estadia, fazendo eu cancela-la logo no primeiro dia, foi o cheiro PESSIMO de fezes que tinha o banheiro quando alguém do prédio acionava a descarga. Além disso, algum outro hospede estava fumando no quarto e o cheiro invadia o meu quarto através da tubulação de ar condicionado (sou alérgico a cigarro e peguei um quarto para NÃO FUMANTES). Não recomendo que fique nesse hotel!

Окна нашего номера выходили во внутренний дворик, поэтому несмотря на одну минуту от Истикляля никакого шума не доносилось. Очень классный матрас на кровати, по нашей просьбе одну подушку заменили без всяких проблем. Номер может показаться небольшим, но благодаря грамотному зонированию получилось несколько пространств. Очень понравился подход к экологичности. Персонал очень дружелюбный и приветливый, со специалистами на ресепшене можно общаться на английском. Завтраки тоже были весьма достойными, джем из айвы - открытие поездки! В общем, крайне рекомендую.

I consider this the better end as you are nearer to Karakoy and public transport options to get you there. Alternatively, it’s a steep but pleasant downhill walk to Karakoy and you pass Galata Tower. What I especially liked about No 11 is that it offers an ‘apartment living experience’ as much as a hotel stay. Whilst guests enjoy a lot of privacy reception is open 24/7 should you need help and is looked after by helpful attentive staff. Thank you, Onur (night reception) for all your help! It was appreciated. You are provided with an electronic key card that provides secure access to the lobby and your room. From the point of booking all communication was excellent and management were very accommodating with any special requests. An excellent, filling ‘Turkish style’ breakfast (six euros) is served from 0830 hours. However, I personally feel this is a little late for those wanting an early start to beat the queues at tourist sights. Whilst some rooms have a kitchenette and fridge, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are not provided. I was, however, easily able to borrow crockery from the hotel kitchen. I stayed in two different rooms, both excellent and both with a small private balcony and view of the lane and life unfolding below. There is a small convenience store opposite the hotel and a fruit and veg store in a lane adjacent to No 11. A large Turkcell shop a few minutes’ walk away efficiently took care of my local sim purchase. I spent several nights at No 11, thoroughly enjoyed my time there and cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Excellence all round. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Istanbul. Thank you to everyone there!
• Meander483395 (2/5): When your stay doesn't feel like home. - I stayed here last year and it was a comfortable trip but this time everything changed. I conveyed through email time of my arrival and asked for pickup but there was no one to receive and upon arrival early morning that room ll be available after 2.00pm. On check in the room had a strange smell as the windows were closed for days. The room was clean though and the shower was nice and warm. My bed was broken I complained to the receptionist but till my stay it reminded so. I asked the owner ayse but she was rude and categorically told me that it's a hotel where you should not feel like home. I had a visit planned for bodrum and I initially booked for further stay hotel 11 but unpleasant experience and unreasonable charges for anything extra led me to look around for other options and offcourse there are too many for $50 per night in this location I would say look for another option to stay you ll get better hospitality experience.

Ayse and her staff are as welcoming as ever. And the effort to make the premises more eco-friendly is great. The place has coped well with the rules in place for controlling the Covid pandemic. I hope to be back again ASAP.

To get to Sultanahmet I usually take a short 10 min downhill walk to the tram and to get back to the hotel take the furnicular up - the stop is a 5 min walk from the hotel. The search for excellence is what distinguishes a great hotel from the rest. In this case, what creates the difference and what brings the excellence is the hotel staff. They made feel like at home (...truly). For example: "You are welcome to use our laundry facilities at no charge, just let us know when you think you might need to use them". The room was clean, record simple and pleasant, the air conditioning was good.
• Marwa (8/5): Nice small hotel next to the vibrant istiklal str. - The hotel is close to the very busy and vibrant istiklal street, yet at night we were not bothered by any loud music. Small room for 2, clean, has the basics amenities for those who want a cosy warm place to sleep and rest after long days of walking around. They also have free laundry services which was great since we stayed for 10 days. Its calm at night, but i don't know if its the same for the other rooms. Only downside is that the sun doesnt enter the room, the light comes in from a small window that gives to another wall. Other than that we had a great stay!
• Kim (8/5): Perfect location and super affordable! - Our room at No.11 was simply decorated with basic amenities but definitely ticked the boxes that mattered to us - a great location to explore and very affordable! The room itself was smaller than expected but we appreciated the little kitchenette and, for the price, we couldn't complain. For a couple in our early 30s with no kids, it served as the perfect base for exploring the city. Located right off Istiklal Street in Beyoglu, we were in easy walking distance to both Taksim Square and Old Town. Unlike Taksim Square, Istiklal Street is lively with plenty of great eateries, street entertainment and hookah places. There were plenty of premium dinner options close to us in Asmalimescit. All of the trendy shops and up and coming Turkish boutiques are located near Galata Tower which is also just a few mins away. And the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. On our last day, they allowed us to have a late checkout without a problem. The reception staff were present during day and left at night, which didn't bother us at all - Beyoglu felt perfectly safe at night. We enjoyed our stay at No. 11 Apartments. I'd definitely recommend this for a couple of independent travellers. Note: The hotel allowed smoking in rooms and we could smell it from our neighbours. Be mindful if you are sensitive.

Rooms were pretty small, and we did not really have a real window, just looking out over a square 40 centimeter place within the building. The air-condition did not work so good, luckily it was not hot outside. The area is great, with direct access to nice restaurants and bars, and with walking distance (25 minutes) to the bridge leading over to the famous old areas of Istanbul. For the price it was alright.

I like how the room decorated and organized and great use for the room space. Ms Ayse was so kind and helpful and guys were too. It will be my choice if i come back Istanbul
