They not only carry out their work with great competence but go above and beyond, showing a friendliness and capability that are rarely found. - Olivia Van (10/5): - Just spent 10 days at Vasia Ormos Hotel and had a wonderful time! We arrived close to midnight on our check in day due to a late transfer and were welcomed by a very friendly member of the reception team who kindly showed us to our room and then informed us that the kitchen staff were kind enough to save dinner for myself and boyfriend which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The food options at dinner and breakfast throughout our stay were plentiful varied each evening meal. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was immaculately cleaned everyday with new sheets and towels daily. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. The hotel is quiet so perfect for a relaxing pool holiday, the beach opposite the hotel is small and quiet but lovely for a change of scenery. If you’re looking for more atmosphere, Amoodi beach is highly recommended and within a 10 minute walk towards Agios Nikolaos - you’ll need to book a sunbed (which comes at a charge for the day) but the atmosphere is great, complimented by welcoming staff and great food! The lake of Agios Nikolaos is around a 20-25min walk from the hotel if you’re looking for an evening out with plenty of restaurants and bars with plenty of options on the way. Depending on how much you’d like to see of the area, I’d recommend to hire a car - we did this via the hotel which was very quick, easy and reasonably priced.

- Alexandra (10/5): The most relaxing vacation ever - I just had a wonderful 12-day stay at Vasia Ormos Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel has the most friendly and most attentive staff I have ever encountered.They take care of every request immediately and go the extra step for you! Beautiful and bright rooms and very clean. The snack bar opens right after breakfast which is very convenient. The garden is just amazing and creates a soothing atmosphere, and the view on the little bay is something you wish you could take home. I am planning to go back there...

- Sharon (8/5): - we spent 10 nights our welcome at 3am in the morning was warm , friendly and helpful and check in was quick. the rooms are immaculate and roomy .this is a lovely hotel but could be fabulous with just a few tweeks . could do with music round the pool and perhaps more going on in the hotel on a night time . the staff are lovely and very helpful. food was on the whole lovely and plenty of choices . hotel is in a beautiful location .
- Daniel (6/5): - Le personnel est très aimable. L’hotel est un 4 étoiles aux normes Grec. Les buffets sont variés et bons. Les piscines sont agréables. Dans la douche il n’y a pas assez de pression, donc si vous avez les cheveux long il est impossible de se rincer les cheveux. La maintenance est intervenue, mais le pb à persister. La salle de sport est impraticable, j’avais sélectionné cet hôtel principalement pour ce service. La plage n’est pas super belle, a qq kilomètres les plages sont nettement plus belles. Avec mes critères de sélection, je ne recommande pas cet hotel.

- Amanda (8/5): Great place for the price! - This was the second stop on our honeymoon whilst on Crete and we really enjoyed staying in Agios Nikolaos at Vasia! The hotel isn’t right in the harbor, but if you’re interested in the pool and beach amenities on site plus being able to walk into town it’s a really great location! It’s about 15 minutes by foot to the start of the shops in town but very pretty and there’s a beach club in between to stop for drinks/snacks that we also loved. The staff was very friendly and left us a very sweet note + bottle of wine as a congratulations when we told them we were there for our honeymoon which was greatly appreciated! All in all for the price I’m so glad we stayed there and definitely recommend the sea view room which overlooked the town and harbor!

- laurence (10/5): Hôtel de charme - Parfaitement intégré au site, c'est un établissement qui épouse le lieu où il est construit en se fondant dans la verdure d'un superbe jardin fleuri (chênes verts, hibiscus, caoutchouc, bougainvilliers, agrumes,...). La piscine offre un espace protégé du vent très agréable ... L'intérieur de l'établissement a été renove avec goût et le style est à la fois épuré et chaleureux. Les repas se prennent sous u2 pergolas face à la mer. Les chambres sont spacieuse, modernes avec un balcon (ou rez de jardin) ou se trouve une table et 2 chaises pour un moment de lecture ou un café. Les chambres comme L'ensemble de l'hôtel où le jardin sont parfaitement entretenues et d'une grande propreté. Un grand parking fermé permet de se garer sans problème. Enfin un personnel, à tous les niveaux, est compétent, dynamique, agréable, à l'écoute, et toujours avec le sourire...ce qui est très appréciable. Même si le français reste peu parlé nos quelques mots d'anglais plus "une appli" traduction nous ont permis de nous faire comprendre :) L'établissement se trouve non loin d'Agios Nikolaos ce qui permet (pour les plus courageux) de s'y rendre à pied. Le joli petit port d'Elounda n'est pas loin également. Seul petit bémol : la plage qui se trouve face à l'hôtel et qui n'est pas à la hauteur de l'établissement. Pour terminer, nous avons aprécié le calme de l'hôtel, son excellent buffet varié et de qualité tout comme le grand professionnalisme du personnel et son amabilité. un super séjour
- Fee (8/5): Nice clean hotel but not best location - Helpful staff and lovely clean room although superior sea view was more of a car park and shops view but if you leaned out to the left you could see the sea. We were half board but ate out in the evenings as food wasn't very hot but we expected that as it's just a buffet. Half hour walk into town which was fine for us but not much around the hotel if you didn't want to go so far. No actual complaints though just a few personal grumbles.
- arman (8/5): Nice clean budget category hotel. - Looks like a Typical beach resort type hotel but do not think it is...its beach well below Greek island standards..not very clear, noisy and almost no facilities. In my opinion, food definitely need an improvement
- SEVERINE (6/5): Cadre agréable mais cuisine décevante - Le cadre est agréable,avec de jolis extérieurs,en particulier deux terrasses avec vue sur la mer. La chambre est correcte,sans plus,malgré une douche sans pression. En revanche, la qualité des produits proposés pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner ( compris dans le prix) est très décevante...(jus d'orange coupé avec de l'eau...); beaucoup de choix mais les produits ne reflètent pas les saveurs de la cuisine crétoise...C'est dommage...

Quel dommage qu'ils se sentent obligé de faire des animations le soir au bar de 21h30 à 24h avec généralement des allemands qui braillent fort apres quelques bieres... A part cela, l'hotel est au fond du petite baie sympa à 5 minutes à pied du front de mer de Agios Nicolaos. La piscine est de bonne taille et très agréable apres une journée de balade.

- Maria (6/5): Hotel alejado del centro - Hotel alejado del centro de Agios Nicolás por lo que es necesario coche. Esta en primera línea de una playa pequeña y muy tranquila. El personal de recepción informa con mucha amabilidad. Tuvimos un contratiempo y lo solucionaron rápidamente.
