- Hana (10/5): Skvělé ubytování v krásném prostředí - Ubytování bylo moc pěkné, v těsné blízkosti pláže. Byl tam dostatek parkovacích míst, pokoj byl taky prostorný, s terasou. Paní Amanda byla velmi příjemná a vstřícná, byli jsme tam moc spokojení. Lokalita je klidná a hned vedle ubytování je i zastávka autobusu. V blízkosti je malá restaurace (Take away) a obchůdek - dostupné pěšky. Není co vytknout.

- Jean-Charles (10/5): - Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour. L'établissement est très propre, moderne et la literie impeccable. La plage d'Anse Forbans, à quelques mètres du logement, est très belle et, contrairement à d'autres plages, les fonds marins sont vivants et permettent du snorkeling facile et spectaculaire. Les take away à proximité sont vraiment excellents. Pour finir, nous tenons à remercier notre hôte Amanda pour sa gentillesse.

- Francesca (10/5): Accogliente villa in posizione strategica - La posizione della casa, in una zona tranquilla di Mahe, davanti a una bella spiaggia e comoda per raggiungere altre bellissime spiagge e tutti i luoghi di interesse dell’isola. La disponibilità dello staff e la possibilità di usufruire di servizi extra (navetta da/per aeroporto, noleggio auto dalla villa, colazioni e cene). Era tutto perfetto!
- Anett (10/5): Szuper elhelyezkedés, prémium itt tartózkodás! - Nagyon tiszta, szuper elhelyezkedés, csend és nyugalom. Külön kiemelném Amanda munkáját. Mindig mindenről informált minket. A szállás egyénileg rendez különleges vacsorákat, mi nem tudtunk ugyan részt venni, mert későn értünk vissza, de ez plusz pont. Minden nap van takarítás, ha kell törölköző csere, és mindig feltöltik vízzel a hűtőt és a kávés tartályt, ami ritka. Reggeli is tökéletes volt! Köszönjük Captains Villa! ❤️

- Aleksandra (8/5): Нормально - Очень удобное расположение, рядом красивый пляж, вокруг нет ничего, спасал соседний хилтон, где можно было обедать, номера чистые, сам гостевой дом очень милый, но советую не брать завтрак, так как картинка в меню и реальность не совпадают, за 260 рупий приносят только омлет, хотя в меню на картинке нарисованы сосиски, их считают отдельно, это было невкусно и мы отдали 1400 рупий на 4х, жажда получить как можно больше денег с туристов испортило все впечатление об этом месте

Wir mussten wegen dem Iran Krieg anstatt 16 Tagen nun 26 Tage bleiben und haben eine Ferienwohnung mit eigener Küche gesucht in der Nähe vom Strand Anse Forbans, da wir die Lage kennen. Sind seit 2002 zum 7. Mal auf der Insel Mahe und Praslin. Diese wunderschöne Villa hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen mit top Terrasse und 1 x die Woche wird sogar Fisch im Restaurant angeboten. Wir kommen wieder.

Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Ein echtes Highlight beim Frühstück war der wunderschöne Obstteller mit frischen Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten – einfach lecker und besonders. Auch die Lage ist traumhaft: Der Strand ist nur ein paar Meter entfernt und einfach wunderschön. Das vorgelagerte Riff ist perfekt zum Schnorcheln. Für uns war alles perfekt – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Nichts
- MR (7/5): - Wir hatten 2 Unterkünfte dort.. 1x mit Küche ( gut ausgestattet ) und 1x Ohne.. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und alles hat gut geklappt. Zum wunderschönen fast menschenleeren Strand sind es nur einige Meter zu Fuss. Ca. 2x in der Woche kochen die Gastgeber auch für die Gäste ( Anmeldung erforderlich) . Zum Essen gibt es sonst auch ein kleines Takeaway 5 min zu Fuss.. oder für Dinner auch im nahen Hotel Double Tree möglich ( unbedingt Voucher vom Gastgeber anfragen, dann klappts ) Hervorzuheben ist speziell John, der Housekeeper, der bei allen möglichen Fragen oder Problemen helfen kann.. Er ist wirklich außerordentlich nett! Das Bett im Appartement mit Küche ist sehr hart und knarrt ziemlich.. Die anderen Betten eher klein. Wir dachten nach der Beschreibung es hätte ein Restaurant... Das war leider nicht so.. Sie kochen so ca 2x pro Woche Dinner ( nach Voranmeldung) sonst ist es ohne Auto schwierig etwas zum Essen zu finden. Speziell am Sonntag.. da haben viele geschlossen.. und auch der Bus fährt nur etwa jede 1,25 Stunde mal.. Im Zimmer Lilly ist es am Morgen früh schon relativ laut.. ausschlafen kann man so nicht.. im Appartement mit Küche ist es ruhiger.

- Andrei (10/5): Liniște, curățenie și gazde minunate - Am stat 3 nopți la Captain’s Villa și am avut o experiență foarte plăcută, într-o atmosferă liniștită și relaxantă. Camera a fost curată, spațioasă și confortabilă, cu aer condiționat și tot ce ne-a trebuit pentru un sejur comod. Un plus mare: gazdele ne-au ajutat și cu închirierea unei mașini, am rezolvat prin ei cu 50 € pe zi, rapid și fără bătăi de cap. Zona Takamaka este perfectă dacă vrei să te bucuri de Seychelles departe de agitație. E mai autentică și mai liniștită, iar în apropiere ai plaje superbe, precum Anse Intendance. Cu siguranță m-aș întoarce. Recomand!
- Christin (5/5): - Durch eine Straße vom Strand getrennt Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden Amanda war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Anliegen wurden sofort erledigt. Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber, wurden jeden Tag gereinigt Es war sehr hellhörig und es wurde eine Küche angegeben, die leider nur aus einem Kühlschrank und 3 Tassen und 3 Gläsern bestand. Frühstück wurde angeboten aber 20,00 Euro pro Person und Tag ist sehr preisintensiv

Großes zuvorkommendes Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und trotz einer Straße vor der Villa war es sehr ruhig. Bieten auch Duschmöglichkeiten nach dem Check out an. leckerer take away und Supermarkt fussläufig. Kaputter Föhn. Basic-Frühstück recht überschaubar, mehr Angebot war kostenpflichtig.

Das Frühstück besteht aus einem leckeren Obstteller und Pancakes oder Eiern, beides mit Toast und Marmelade. An der Anse Forbans kann man herrlich schnorcheln und es sind fast keine Leute am Strand.

Вообще за территорией отеля начинается местная реальность, напоминающая юго-восточную азию - мусор, бродячие собаки и тд. Можно поесть в уличном кафе в пешей доступности с вышеперечисленным колоритом за дорого.
- Suresh (10/5): Beautiful Seychelles stay - Amanda as a host is extremely accommodating and helpful. That makes a huge difference to a place of stay. Of course the staff is great! The facilities are really good. The best thing about the place is, it is literally 3 minutes from a fabulous and quaint beach—almost like a private beach. We had some of the best times in Seychelles here.

Man sollte sich bewußt sein, daß die Seychellen nicht gerade günstig sind. Die Übernachtungen in privaten Unterkünften sind meist teurer,als die etwas größeren Objekte.

Рассветная сторона, поэтому при хорошей погоде с 6 утра светит уже яркое солнце. Удобное расположение, чтобы добираться до самых красивых южных точек. Завтрак простенький, но вкусный и угощают фруктами из сада. Номер и удобства совсем простенькие, но как писала выше очень чистые, поэтому находиться приятно. Отсутствие бассейна и вида в некоторых номерах.

Nahe an der Strasse, aber nicht störend. Auto sehr empfehlenswert. Abzug, weil unser Zimmer entgegen der Beschreibung keinen Meerblick hatte. Die Büsche haben die Aussicht zugewachsen.
- José María (10/5): Casa estilo colonial preciosa en la que te tratan de maravilla, y con relación calidad-precio insuperable - Precioso, tiene todo lo que necesitas en este tipo de alojamientos, todo el mundo que trabaja allí, incluyendo a la host (Amanda), era súper amable. El desayuno más que que completo y bueno. Una playa preciosa al otro lado de la calle y con sitios cercanos para comer y cenar. No hubo nada que no nos gustara.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse et une attention incroyables, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et très familiale. Chaque moment passé ici a été un vrai bonheur. La cuisine est un véritable régal : des plats aux arômes typiques des Seychelles, préparés avec soin et passion. Le Redsnapper mérite une mention spéciale — cuit à la perfection, un vrai délice ! Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et le cœur rempli de gratitude. Un endroit que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

- Viktoria (10/5): Excellent place to enjoy the beach, explore Mahe and recharge with positve energy - Captain's Villa is a tastefully decorated place reflecting the authentic style of the isalnd. The wonderful Anse Forbans beach is only a few steps away from the villa. We also enjoyed the surrounding lush greenery with the lovely sound of the birds. Amanda, her family and her team were all very welcoming, kind and helpful. We received lots of useful information, recommendations and nice maps to explore Seychelles. My Mum loved her beautiful flower bouquet made for her birthday. We would like to say a big thank you again for everything, we had a very enjoyable stay! We wish this great family-run business to continue flourishing.

Man hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und es wurde alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit erledigt. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Alles frisch zubereitet. Großer Obstteller mit verschieden Früchten. War alles perfekt.
- Claudia (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft an der Südostküste Mahes - Sehr schönes Zimmer mit toller Terrasse, jeden Tag 1 Liter Trinkwasser, Kaffee (Instant) und Milch. Top Frühstück mit großem Fruchtteller, der auch besondere Fruchtsorten, wie Guave und Jackfruit, enthielt. Ausserdem konnte man zwischen Eierspeise mit Speck/ Würstchen und Pancakes wählen, dazu Filterkaffee!!! Alle Mitarbeiter extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben eine tolle Wanderung zum Anse Petit Marie-Louise und Anse Capucins gemacht...traumhafte Strände mit fast keinen anderen Touristen. Vorsicht am Anse Capucins vor den starken Wellen und Strömungen! Der Anse Forbans ist auch sehr schön, Schnorcheln am grossen Felsen empfehlenswert. Sehr wenig bis gar keine Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen, Essen gehen...nur 1 Take away in der Nähe, dafür kann aber die Unterkunft ja nichts. Mietauto empfehlenswert.

We found a welcoming place, with a very clean room (hotel-style, as we didn’t book self catering option). One of the most beautiful beach of Mahe literally across the street (pictured). Amanda and staff members were welcoming and helped us during our stay. Bus stop nearby, but a car would be needed for groceries and such. 25 min drive to airport. Shuttle service provided by staff for 50€ Our ground - level room has not that much privacy, people literally waved or come to us talking from nearby rooms while we’d like to chill.

The villa was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need: a fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, iron, and hair dryer. The environment was incredibly quiet and peaceful, ensuring a truly relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the regular cleaning every two days, which kept everything fresh and tidy. As a wonderful bonus, the hostess Amanda was incredibly kind, regularly bringing us fresh fruits. The location is ideal for exploring the island, with a bus station just a 1-minute walk away. For daily essentials, a small shop offering basic food items and delicious take-away meals is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the villa. We had a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect island retreat!

- Olga (10/5): Going to be back to this wonderful place - A lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden, just steps away from the stunning Anse Forbans beach across the road. Staying here feels more like visiting friends who truly care about your comfort and know how to cook delicious food. Amanda and her husband prepared local fish for us in different ways — each dish was absolutely tasty and full of flavor. Breakfast is thoughtfully served: guests can choose three options from the menu, and a fresh selection of local fruits is brought to your table first. Amanda was also very helpful in arranging a rental car and recommending great places to explore around the island. This place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere — a perfect choice if you want to feel at home in paradise.
- Attila (5/5): Passable - Cleanness, daily water, good bye gift This accomodation is marked as 4 stars, however the breakfast ( very limited selection of food, no buffet option) does not meet the standards of 4 stars. Unfortunately' the bed was very small and inconvenient. When after the first sleepless night I asked very kindly the help of the lady at the reception to give us an extra matress or another room with two separated beds, I did not receive any help just a not possible answer. Only after I posted a negative google review about this guest house, we were offered the next day a bigger room.

The breakfast provided was excellent. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Christine. Our group was quite large, consisting of four families totaling 11 people, and Christine was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting us with organizing our stay. Her willingness to go the extra mile made our trip so much smoother. The beach in front of Captain’s Villa is wonderdul. Highly recommended!

- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Our apartment was beautiful and we loved our quiet but also convenient location. It was walking distance from Anse Forbans beach and Double Tree Hilton hotel. The hotel restaurant is open late until 10 pm and our daughter was able to use their gym for a small fee. WiFi was excellent and we especially liked our big bathroom with an excellent shower! Having to wait 3-4 days for clean beach towels.
- Hans (10/5): Clean and friendly - I liked that it was clean, comfortable, friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. It was 2 min flat walk to a lovely beach, safe for swimming as it is inside of a reef. It's off from the more busy parts of Mahe so the road didn't have much traffic. Good price. I couldn't have expected more in that category.
- Diyan (10/5): Exceptional - We were greeted very friendly. They gave us a refreshing drink. They immediately settled us comfortably in the rooms. The beach is right in front of the house. Incredible beauty, crystal clear water, millions of fish at the first step into the water. Soft and clean sand, green coconut palms, it is difficult to describe in words. You have to see it for real. I highly recommend staying there for at least a week. Within short distances by car you can find many beautiful bays, like this one. It is incredible. you fall into another world.
- Evgeny (10/5): Exceptional - Christine was invaluable and hospitable over the whole stay. Our return flight was in the evening, and we were allowed a late checkout without any extra fees. One evening, we had dinner at the hotel; it was very tasty - recommended! If you stay there, a car is practically a must to get around - different beaches, restaurants, etc. Our favorite beach was Anse Royale, 7-8 minutes of driving. Very good restaurants are Lo Brizan, Perri's Grillz, and Le Reduit - all within a 10-15-minute drive distance. For something simpler and inexpensive takeaway (but very tasty nonetheless), Koko Zerm is a good choice, a few minutes walk from the villa.
- Sara (9/5): A blissfully sunny stay - We stayed in “Swan” which is the 2 bedroom villa. It was a beautiful 2 floor apartment. Aircon in both bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a small but functional kitchen with electric stove. Convenient location we had a car and drove all round the island but there is also a bus stop about 100m from gate. You could watch sunrise on the beach with is approx 50mins from apartment. Wonderful staff and hosts extremely helpful and full if local knowledge There was nothing we didn’t like. A suggestion would be to have a more comfortable seats on the balcony but that is because we were out there morning and night.

The backdrop is a lush range or mountain, if you will, that has all ties of tropical fruit growing. One can drive or walk to several local restaurants, hotel restaurants, or, eat in, making it super convenient. The staff were friendly and the place is a total beach haven!

- Irina (9/5): Good choice for full relax - Good location for those who prefer calm relaxing vacation (the car is absolutely needed, there is nothing exept one take-away and small shop accessable by foot) Very beautifull territory - the yard with lot's of flowers, very tiny and fresh The apartments itself are equipped with everything you will need within your stay Beautiful Anse Forbans beach just in front of the building, where you will be almost lonely most of the time :-) In the late evening we faced abscence of hot water from time to time, but I suppose that it actually not a problem or some kind of an issue. Just "seychelles water heating feature" :-) cuase we actually faced it almost in all apartments where we have lived on Mahe

- Eva (9/5): perfect stay for a couple of nights in a clean and quite villa with perfect service - Everything was just great: Christine is a very good and kind host, the room was great and very clean, airco worked perfect, the terrace just lovely, breakfast delicious, not too much, but definetely enough. Beach just across the street and it felt like a private beach as nobody was there. The transfer to the airport also great and cheaper than what we paid when getting to our (previous) hotel. It is really nothing not to like about as all was fine.

- Amvogel (10/5): Our second stay at Captain's Villa - This was our second stay at Captain's Villa, this time as a group of 4 in one of the self-catering apartments. Everything was lovely and clean, the beds comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy of the apartment. The manager Christine was so kind, personable and helpful. The restaurant is not open every evening but on one of the evenings we had a great fish supper there. Captain's Villa is an excellent place to stay and is really good value. The beach opposite was great for swimming and snorkelling whilst we were there. Highly recommend! Not applicable.
- Adam (10/5): Very clean and well designed house and rooms at an amazing location, 1 minute walk from several beautiful beaches. - Great location next to the beach, close to nature and a few great restaurants. Christine was very kind and we got incredible local fresh juices and fruit everyday. Nothing not to like. Keep in mind it’s a bit further away from the city and restaurants and shops close by close around 5-6.
- Dana (10/5): Great place to stay in Mahe - We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everyone was super nice, especially Chris who really took an interest to make us feel welcome and gave some tips on what to do, she helped us rent a car and also with transfers, she was lovely. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, bread, butter, jam, eggs and cheese. Usually they serve dinner, we ate dinner our first night and we enjoyed that as well. The location is quite nice, the beach is really beautiful, even though it's not that popular.

Christine the property manager helped with transportation from the airport, arranged to have the rental car delivered at the villa and helped us to feel comfortable and relaxed. A true vacation. The beautiful beach across the street was perfect with the most beautiful sunrise. Looking forward to our return one day.

- Gilles (10/5): 1ère expérience aux Seychelles réussie ! - Merci à Christine et à l'équipe de Captain's Villa pour sa disponibilité, sa qualité de services, sa gentillesse. 1er séjour aux Seychelles et nous avons vécu une excellente expérience. Selon nous, l'hôtel est situé à proximité des plus beaux spots (Anse Intendance, Police Bay, Anse Takamaka et bien d'autres). Petits commerces à proximité. Chambres climatisées, parking privé facile d'accès, etc ... Une chose est sûre, nous y retournerons.
- Saraseastar (10/5): Exceptional - Paradise. The Villa is awesome, clean, bright, in the middle of an amazing green garden with stunning flowers. Great location, 5 minutes walking distance to the best beach ever. Christine has been so helpful, cleaver and smiling all the time. When they get fresh fish directly from the beach, Christine prepare unforgettable dinners for her guests. I left a piece of my heart there.
