• Graham (6/5): I would stay again at the discounted rate but I couldn't imagine paying full price. - Location was great. View was spectacular. Outdoor activities looked great. Kids had a lot of fun on vball court. Clean. I felt the room had bare minimum needs. Tea and coffee station could have had more to it. The room was listed as a $400 value but I only paid $200 as a discount rate. I felt that meant we should be getting a $400 value room. It needs to be more thoughtful in decoration. More mirrors to check outfits as a minimum addition in my mind. The bed was like sleeping on a kid's jumpy castle. Far too soft!
• A (9/5): Quiet, restful, fun! - Staff were amazing. One of the staff gave us a tour into a space under the main building when he found out we loved history to see some amazing murals. Owners were there and super helpful as well, for ving amazing food recommendations in town. Lots a places to sit and enjoy the view. Appreciated the complimentary wood for a fire in the room as well. We came in the off season so it was very quiet. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, the off season is a great time to go. In season we could see this place as being the place to be.

• Kateryna (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay with my spouse and truly enjoyed our time there! The location is absolutely amazing, and the views are simply breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge. Winter makes it especially cozy, there are so many activities and opportunities to enjoy the season, whether you prefer being outdoors or staying warm inside. Even though we only came for a short stay, we managed to rest very well and make the most of our time. Another big advantage is that the city is located nearby, so there are plenty of things to do, explore, and experience beyond the property itself. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and we would definitely love to come back again! :)

• kirstin e. (8/5): - A really wonderful spot. Really enjoyed the restaurant by the lake, the indoor breakfast restaurant and a little ice cream truck open until 8 pm. The common room is super nice and if not in use for a function can use this space. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If you are staying in room 34-36 keep in mind that these rooms are above the common area and kitchen/breakfast room so be prepared for noise (and music if a function is happening) that may keep you up and wake you up. Would highly recommend!!

Our corner Room with the double windows was perfect and The View is exactly what we were looking for. It was also very, very peaceful and quiet which is something else we were looking for. The fact that we didn't have more time there because we would have stayed more than one night.

Canoes and waterslide were in good condition. The beach was clean. The surrounding vegetation was natural and full of birds. I heard my first ovenbird! It was all good. Perhaps the main building could be designed to reflect the era of its origin. Some information about the lodge would have been interesting. There is some history there.
• Linda (10/5): Awesome. - Fantastic. Lots to do. Didn’t have to leave the resort. Food amazing, friendly staff, clean, nice beach area with water toys and safety equipment and children play area. Campfire containment unit. The outdoor restaurant, great foods and beverages, super busy, but the staff worked so well together from bartenders, cooks, and wait staff, timed, they didn’t miss a beat, I was so impressed (and that’s hard to do). Congratulation on the teamwork!

• Elizabeth (4/5): Disappointing - The location is beautiful I stayed a couple of nights in May. The weather wasn't warm enough yet. The power went off after a storm on my first night. Power outrage in the area is common, and the local hydro company is not fast enough to restore power. Unfortunately for guests, the resort has no backup power generator supplying energy to the cabins in case of power off. My first night was very cold in the dark with no power. I bought food but couldn't eat, only in the main restaurant they had power and no food was offered to us. The staff was great coming around the cabin offering blankets. Thankfully, power came back up on my last night. I wouldn't stay there again.

Stayed in a cabin that was cozy but a couple extras would be nice like some tea bags for those who don’t like coffee and maybe a toaster. It was a hot weekend and the cabin only had one fan so either air conditioning or some extra fans would help. All in all it is a great resort that I have been too multiple times and would gladly stay at again.

The cabin we were in worked well for us. Had to park far from the cabin and carry all our things down stairs. Patio lights were on after everything closed down - a hinderance to get kids ready for bed/go out and see stars. Volleyball area was right outside our door and it was awkward to hang out outside of our own cabin. The fire pit area was congested - not everyone could sit and enjoy it. There was also a large heavy metal triangular gate on the fire pit that was terrifying to watch be opened every time.

• Tushar (2/5): - I traveled all the way from Burlington to Haliburton, took me around 4 hours. As soon as I reached Bonnie Inn, I was in awe. This place is a hidden gem in Ontario. I checked in at the reception, and I mentioned that I wasn't able to get the room with the Jetted tub, but to my fortune I was told that I was upgraded to the room with the Jetted tub. I was simultaneously told that there was no power in the rooms due to an outage (I am surprised that the rooms aren't backed up with generators in case of such outages) and was told it would be back by 6pm. I was excited about the jetted tub and rushed to city to find some bubble bath. Right after shopping for the room, I was given a call about the accidental room upgrade. Given the fact that I did double check that I was upgraded for the room with the jetted tub, I was really disappointed with this kins of unprofessionalism. To make up for this, I was given free breakfast that was already an "buy-one-get-one-free" offer. Forgetting all these issues I still tried to enjoy the experience, but at 7 pm I was told that they weren't sure about the power and I could stay or leave if I wanted to without any charges. The fact that had to drive 4 hrs back at night, did not seem like a good idea as I am still a new driver. They provided blankets as my room did not have any firewood. My wife and I were left expected to sleep in the cold room with a candle light. Moving forward next day, no power yet and I was told it "might" be back at 4pm. We

Wood for the room was very pricey and not having the dining room for food closed was difficult especially on a weekend of a snowstorm. • Kathleen (10/5): - This is a lovely inn in an absolutely beautiful area. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate. Everything is modern and upscale. The bed was comfortable and the bedding extra cozy. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Excellent dining options and shopping are minutes away and outdoor activities abound. We had a great stay and hope to return again.

Restaurant was a little Rustic and Modern. Loons calling off in the distance as I sat by the campfire. Perfection. Breakfast arrangements were a little awkward but not really a complaint as I went into Haliburton for breakfast instead.

The food at the Dockside (wonderful setting) was very pedestrian to say the least. My wife ordered pan fried fish - the whole serving was no more than an off cut from a normal fillet and had to be fried in pepper!

• 896gars (10/5): Great lodge for a family getaway. - This is a really nice, friendly, clean facility located in the Kawarthas. It is near to Minden and Haliburton. The lodge is the very essence of an "up north" family run lodge. The staff and service are great, meals and drinks and very good and the owner takes a personal interest in your stay. They have done many improvements and updating and the rooms are almost like new, they are clean and well cared for. They have a really nice clientel- we enjoyed meeting so many nice guests and enjoying our time there. They also have many activities for kids- large floating slides and lots of toys for everyone. The beach is really nice sandy and clean- and the views are beautiful. They have special nightly entertainment- loved the bingo and outdoor rock concert!!
• Jennifer (7/5): Room not as expected! - Excellent location for my purpose of being there. I didn't use the outdoor facilities. Beautiful property and many outdoor activities were available. The room I got was not the one presented online. Chipped paint on door frame. Mold on bathroom grout. No grab bars in the tub. No comfortable chair to sit in. At the price of room, a free continental breakfast would have been nice especially since the property had restaurant facilities.
• Monique (9/5): Lovely Inn - Lovely location and the little cabins were well stocked and very clean. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. The beach looked fantastic and all the water sports etc. that you can use looked great. It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy it. Great dinner. I wish I knew what size bed we were getting; we both found the sheets to be very scratchy and we don't complain. Also would have been nice to know there was no air conditioning in the room. Also, for 1 night at over $300 thought breakfast would have been included. After saying all that I'd still give it another go 🤗
