• Chelsie (9/5): Loved it. Would stay here again :) - Loved it, the room was large. Beds were comfy, room had lots of supplies like makeup remover samples and soaps. The dinning room had yogurt, cereal and an assortment of drinks and coffee you could take at any time. They serve you a nice breakfast in the morning too! Nothing. It was great

The room was very comfortable, the bed was great, and everything was spotless, a very-well kept room overall. All the staff members were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Breakfast was well served. They offer hot breakfast options prepared by the kitchen, and they kindly ask the day before what you would like to choose from the menu. The location is perfect. We wanted to fully enjoy Charlottetown, so we parked the car at the hotel and did everything on foot. It's very close to Victoria Park, the Victoria Boardwalk, downtown, the waterfront, and nice restaurants. We truly loved our stay and already want to come back!

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and accommodating, which made the experience even more special. We especially loved the breakfast. It was not only delicious but also very filling.

A separate kitchenette shared by all was appreciated too. The air-conditioning unit in our room was very very old and past it's prime. Very loud squeaky fan. Had to open our window during humid weather. Thank goodness for the breeze and the shade of a tree.

• Heather (9/5): Wonderful! Would love to come back. - This is an absolutely charming B&B with a wonderful vibe! It's beautifully decorated and centrally located, but also very quiet. Walking a few minutes in one direction will get you to the boardwalk, and there are tons of great restaurants within a 10-minute walk. The shower was really great, and I loved how much space there was in the bathroom and bedroom for unpacking and organizing your belongings. The breakfasts were amazing, especially the baked goods! The mattress is quite firm, and the pillows are rather flat. It took me a night to get used to it, but once I did, I slept quite well. It would be nice if breakfast were served 15 minutes earlier, as I had an early start some mornings and had to eat quite quickly.
• Aleksandra (7/5): Clean and Functional, but Not What We Expected - On the positive side, we liked that guests could access the kitchen at any time for drinks or snacks, and there were affordable drinks available to buy, which was a nice touch. We were really excited about staying at Sonata Inn, as the photos made it look charming, romantic, and a bit more modern. Unfortunately, in reality, it felt quite different. To be fair, the place is very clean and clearly well maintained, but it’s also quite worn and dated. The charm of the dining room was a bit ruined by plastic table covers meant to protect the tables—they really took away from the atmosphere. There was some construction going on nearby, which we didn’t mind, but what bothered us more was the dirty and neglected front area of the building, especially right on the veranda—it just didn’t feel cared for. Still, we saw other guesthouses in Charlottetown during our stay that looked much more beautiful and inviting. So for our next visit, we’d probably try a different place.

• Lea (6/5): Zum Übernachten okay - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut und man erreicht fußläufig alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Charlottetown sowie zahlreiche Restaurants und Cafés. Die Zimmer sind leider sehr abgewohnt und wirken etwas schmuddelig. Es war zwar nicht dreckig, aber man wollte auch nicht so genau hinschauen. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht überzeugt, machte satt, mehr aber auch nicht. Das Personal war beim Check-in recht nett, hat beim Frühstück dann kein Wort gesprochen. Insgesamt war es zum Übernachten okay, es mangelt aber sehr an Charme.

• Michael (8/5): Beautiful interior and easy parking. - The interior on the eating areas was beautiful. Access to our room was wonderful. The key cards are smart. Our room was good but the bathroom was cold and I would recommend a comfy chair near the window. The added breakfast 'salad' was not necessary; have that option E. With the cable channels, there was not a lot to choose from.

The restroom was spacious and the bath was easy to use.The vibe of the whole house was updated historical. You could tell it was an old house without it feeling dated or cold.
