Guest Reviews
- Doug (9/5): -
- malstouffer (10/5): Retro charm and modern comfort - This is a wonderful hotel- friendly and with retro charm. Fantastic location and it ha a beautiful lobby/cafe. The free coffee in the lobby in early morning is the best I’ve ever had in a hotel!
- 77denicek (10/5): I'll be back! - Very nice mid-century modern hotel! Super clean and comfortable room. Loved the Rooftop bar. Location was perfect for me within walking distance to my event. I will return.
- Boston432181 (2/5): Noisy hotel. Poor value. - We stayed for two nights at a cost of almost $1,200 dollars. There was a rooftop bar with very loud music making it impossible to sleep. Walls are thin, so we also had problems with noise from neighbors. Breakfast was not included and we were pushed out before we could finish to free up space for reserved brunch tables. Overall, I would avoid this hotel.
- Y3038MQdavidk (10/5): Another great stay at The Durham - Stylish and well located hotel. Spacious and fully stocked rooms, excellent food service. Staff helpful and pleasant. The best choice for downtown Durham!
- CalgaryMike (10/5): Great location, service and a nice clean, quiet and large room. Price was reasonable for what we got. Loved our stay! We - Great location, service and a nice clean, quiet and large room. Price was reasonable for what we got. Loved our stay! We will stay there if we ever get back to Durham again.
- elizabethlL9801LJ (10/5): What a great hotel! - What a great hotel! The rooms are simple but well designed, the bed is very comfortable, and the lobby coffee and food offerings are unbelievably good, esp the guacamole toast.Staff is personable and helpful. Everything works. Cheers!
- Q6816IIpaulz (10/5): Excellence. - The hotel is well appointed—from the downstairs restaurant all the way to the rooftop bar. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. And the Counter Culture coffee delivered to the room was a very nice touch. But ultimately it was the friendliness of an evidently well trained staff that made my experience unique. This human element is what will bring me back to The Durham.
- 868heatherf (10/5): cool place - Really cool place; detail inside and outside were photo-worthy. Rooftop bar wasn't open but I hear it's great -- staff was helpful too!
- Senn (3/5): Fell far below average. - Loved the common spaces, but they had both the coffee shop bar and the rooftop bar closed for private events on the same night. Lack of parking, lack of valet. Thin walls- someone beside us had an alarm that went off for over 20 minutes at 6 AM. Staff was unconcerned.
There was a coffee maker but no coffee in the room and the coffee shop doesn’t open until 7:30AM.
There was one elevator for the whole hotel. Elevator were sticky with someone’s spilled drink. The phone in the room wouldn’t call the front desk.
- Magma5 (10/5): High End Hotel - I don't normally get to stay at hotels this nice, but it was being paid for by an organization that I have recently joined. It's 5-star service. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Amenities are abundant and quality. Beds are comfortable. There are both a downstairs and rooftop restaurants. It's right in downtown Durham, so it's walkable to a lot of different things, and the public parking garage is diagonally across the street.
Being downtown, I did hear the garbage truck in the morning, but I was already awake.
- P7658EIstephens (2/5): Don't do it - Our King room was a converted closet or office space on the second floor behind the equipment room. Very dark... a little dank... shower valve not functioning well... bad pillows... just not worth the price. Location great. People super nice (but powerless to fix any issue). I'd stay away.
- kevincN8619BH (10/5): A top notch hotel in downtown Durham - The Durham is a fine hotel in the center of downtown. You can walk to everything, from a host of breweries to all centers of the arts to some really good restaurants. Try Flavor Hills, short walk to West Main from the hotel. The hotel roof deck was closed when I stayed in February, but it’s quite the amenity in good weather.
- 270cortneyb (8/5): Wonderful Stay - We had a fantastic stay. The breakfast was great, the staff was warm and thoughtful, and we loved the fun, 70s-inspired vibe throughout the hotel. The games available were such a nice touch and made the space feel relaxed and welcoming.
- david (5/5): Meh. - Front desk staff very nice. Location is great to DPAC, local restaurants. Cleanliness. Tile shower was kind of yucky and leaked water into the bathroom. Toilet seat was spotted (ew) and random hair found upon arrival, which set the tone.
The biggest issue was sound—could have used a sound machine. Used to big city hotel stays, but this particular room (even high up!) could hear the street crossing loud and clear, to the point where it actually prohibited sleep. The coffee delivery was basically packaged coffee to use in the coffee maker—and they knocked on the door two hours before 8am request. We were already up at 6 due to street noise. 🫤 Hotel had a cool lobby/first floor vibe but beyond that, it could use some updating. Just a “meh” stay.
- Goldie073 (10/5): Great place to stay - Great location, amenities. Breakfast good. Wish there was a dinner place there - only appetizers. We will be staying here the next time we are in Durham!
- A9075LVabbyg (10/5): Great Experience!! - Staff is great, very friendly and helpful, I felt like at home during my stay.
Ordered some food and Coffee it was amazing.
- Suzy (10/5): -
- 406darlenel (10/5): exceptional staff - The staff was exceptional. The beds were amazing! The parking was easy and the coffee bar was delicious. The location was perfect for us.
- EdC1344 (10/5): Treated Me Like Family - Wonderful, warm staff! From the arrival with the warm greeting from the bellstaff and front desk to the coffee bar folks, I felt welcome and appreciated during my entire stay! The room was impeccable and every staff member whom I encountered had a warm, genuine smile. :)
- Briana (4/5): Great location, dated hotel - Location is great. Cocktails and coffee was phenomenal. Loved the shower. Front office always addressed me by name which was nice. Fresh ground coffee delivered to room in the morning was amazing and unlike any other hotel! The rooms overall are dated. No dresser or storage. No additional mirror beside bathroom. Lighting in the bathroom should be better. Elevator, yes singular, was horrible. PARKING was horrendous and not right next to the hotel, made me nervous traveling solo with a child and the homeless people.

- Trvlvr05 (10/5): Hotel Durham is ideal for personalized service. - Hotel Durham is an outstanding hotel for location, room comfort, and extra services. The coffee service to your room in the morning was excellent.
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Pioneer13063083706 (10/5): Downtown Durham - Excellent hotel with thoughtful and comfortable amenities. Great location in the heart of downtown Durham. The coffee bar is a great spot for a meal or a relaxed beverage.
- Erica (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - We enjoyed our stay here, the service was great and the room was clean.
- Hutchings (7/5): It was difficult to enjoy the room with the loud music. - Nice decor Room was on 4th floor and the thumping music from the rooftop bar was very loud and continued after 10pm on a weeknight. Very annoying.
And the shower water pressure was very low.
- 610paulamariet (10/5): For a quick visit to clients in the area a nice place to stay. - Clean and friendly atmosphere. Roof top bar was very nice. Good location for travel in and around Durham. First time visit to the hotel with a positive experience.
- M3334AFnathanp (10/5): Charming, cozy stay - Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, EXCELLENT breakfast at reasonable prices - plus the room was so cool. All around A+
- Veronique (8/5): -
- Betsy (10/5): - Great location for our Event
- bonniegT2252UZ (10/5): Shining lights in a storm of stress! - Good overall experience near the Duke Hospital/Medical complex in Durham NC. Want to acknowledge the special customer service extended to my friend and myself re a myriad of issues including clear directions to the Duke University Hospital. We had to be there at 515AM this morning for outpatient surgery and our gps apps kept bringing us to the Emergency Room in a different hospital which was totally wrong. Big shout out to front desk staff, especially Sierra who carefully and clearly explained exactly how to drive there. She even showed us on her phone, as if she was driving us there! My friend had peace of mind when we got to bed after 10pm and she made her surgery on time easily and had a great outcome to boot! Also at the front desk was Levi who also was an attentive listener and who even checked back with us a bit later to see how we 'women of a certain age' were doing with our stressors! Thank you, Levi and Sierra, very much! We appreciate you! You both helped to make our trip special and successful! <3
- Richard (10/5): - Great location and vibe in downtown durham. Very comfortable
- Ashreeta (2/5): - As as checked into the room, found cockroach in the bathroom and had to leave the hotel for another nearby hotel.
- Pedro (8/5): - La atencion del personal fue excelente El cubrecamas de Mahón no me gustó.
- ShelleyVen (10/5): Excellent stay! - My daughter and I had an excellent stay at The Durham Hotel. The staff were all very personable and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The decor was fun; it felt like stepping back in time...in a good way. The food was excellent quality and really tasty. We had dinner at the coffee bar; burger and tenders. It was very good! The milk and warm cookies for dessert, hit the spot. We chose to have room service breakfast the next morning and it was also awesome; fresh and flavorful, and priced very reasonable. I also loved how they use local businesses for in-room amenities; all of the toiletries and snack offerings. The snacks could be purchased at a minimal cost. There was even complimentary Burt's Bees product. We wished that we were in town longer, because we would have loved to stay another night or two. We plan to visit again!
- O1397KJnicolep (10/5): Great hotel staff, clean room, pleasant stay. - After booking a room at a nearby more expensive hotel and being highly disappointed, I came to the front desk requesting to see a room before I committed. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was pleasant, cheerful, clean and inviting. The hotel has a lively atmosphere with a lounge providing books, games, food and drinks. There's a beautiful scenic rooftop bar. It was perfect for our girls get away. I highly recommend. this hotel.
- Sean (10/5): - Love the decor. A wonderful surprise.
- Sabrina (4/5): - Parking was down and across the street.Immediately walked into loud music in the lobby from a DJ. Could not hear the front desk person giving instructions. He gave us keys to a room on the 3rd floor but wrote 5th floor room number. Had us trying to enter someone’s room. Elevators work out of order so we had to use the service elevator. We were told we could order coffee with room service but we received items to MAKE coffee which is not how it was described. We wanted to try a different hotel experience but I fired this one wasn’t for us
- Andrew (8/5): - Our room was wonderful and the staff were friendly and responsive. There was some work being done do we had to use the service elevator for our whole stay. We're already talking about our next trip to Durham and our next stay will be here.
- Eric (10/5): - Great staff, very clean rooms, and just a great experience.
- Pamela (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay; close to DPAC
- 645fletcherw (4/5): Not a good experience for the money - If you're looking to spend a bunch of money on a fancy hotel stay, look elsewhere, The staff is fantastic, but for $300+ a night the room itself left much to be desired. The elevator was also broken and we had to use a service elevator. The paint in the hotel is dinged up all over the place and it just seemed kind of run down for a fancy hotel. We won't be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.
- marinvagabond (10/5): Shaken, Stirred, and Seriously Impressed - I booked The Durham Hotel for its glowing reviews, modern design, and central location, and it turned out to be the highlight of the trip. From the moment I arrived, it exceeded expectations. Despite my late check-in, Nicolas Thomas at the front desk delivered a masterclass in hospitality. He was warm, charming, and attentive. He made sure my suite was perfect and walked me through the hotel’s thoughtful touches, from the curated in-room coffee service to the fitness options both on-site and at the nearby YMCA.
The suite was stylish and quiet, with furnishings that felt like a nod to Mad Men. Sunset views were striking, the bed was indulgently comfortable, and the bath products elevated the experience. Downstairs, the bar was buzzing, and the Deconstructed Martini alone is worth a visit. Breakfast was another highlight, with gourmet coffees, mimosas, and a menu that satisfied everyone, all accompanied by delightfully kitschy ’60s-style lounge music that made the room feel playful and retro. When it came time to leave, Nicolas and Dejon Rawlins sent me off with the same warmth that had defined my entire stay.
The Durham balances polish and personality beautifully. It is both sophisticated and fun, with staff who embody true hospitality.
- linda (8/5): Great stay - The Hotel was in a great location to walking, restaurants, bars. Hotel was well kept although could use some upgrades. The food in both restaurants was amazing. The Rooftop Bar had the best cheeseboard at 10pm! Our room in the first night was on the side of the bar Queenies open till 2am so we didn’t sleep well. The hotel moved out room the next night and upgraded us. Service was great and the coffee bar is open all the time for coffee- excellent pastries and candies and beer! Great stay
- Craig Scott (10/5): - Great service. Julius is amazing!
- 750janelb (10/5): Comfortable stay - A really nice hotel in the middle of the downtown action. Very comfortable lounge. Loved the coffee/tea service in the morning.
- Douglas (10/5): - Excellent location and staff
- MeredithinPhilly (8/5): Nice location, nice staff, interior needs updating - This hotel is nicely situated in a vibrant part of downtown Durham near restaurants and bars. The exterior of the building is interesting and fun. Pluses and minuses about the stay below:
Pluses:
-- The room was very clean, which is the most important thing for me with a hotel
-- The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean
-- The rooftop bar which was very fun and has great views
-- The staff were all friendly
Minuses:
-- Checking in, we could barely hear the voice of the desk agent talking loudly over the extremely loud wedding party DJ and music playing mere feet away from the desk. Once we got to the room however, the noise level was muffled enough to tolerate
-- Our room had a fun mid century modern vibe, but the scuffed furniture, dark flooring, and dark, slightly dirty-looking bedspread could all use some updating to look cleaner and fresher, and less kitchy
-- I could hear kids playing and yelling in the next room almost like there was no wall between us. It seems like the sound insulation is lacking.
-- I thought the price for the room was a little high for the quality of the room and the noise levels.
Still, in spite of the minuses, I think The Durham Hotel has some charm and a lot of potential with some updating. The staff are nice, and the location great if you want to to enjoy downtown Durham restaurants and bars.
- Margaret (10/5): - Only working elevator was service elevator . Normally , that would be an issue .. but the staff is very friendly & hotel had a very unique vibe . Food is delicious !
- Terry (8/5): This is the place to stay - The staff was great. Ezra at the desk was a complete pro. They were dealing with a minor issue the day we checked in but the whole staff made it a non issue. Location is perfect, nice sized rooms and dont miss the rooftop for a cocktail and some small bites.
- kathryn (10/5): - Unique mod-century modern architecture and decor. Perfect for access to downtown restaurants, bars and theaters.
- Holly (10/5): - Well-maintained mod hotel with an excellent rooftop bar. Comfortable room and friendly staff.
- 319pattis (10/5): Great location - Nice hotel. Rooftop bar was fun. The lounge/bar area was a nice place to relax. The bed and linens were very comfortable. I'd stay here again.
- Anne (10/5): - Very original and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, excellent roof top restaurant.
- Donna (10/5): - Great location, beautiful roof top patio!
Rooms are well appointed and quiet.

- francis (10/5): - a delightful engaging staff with from greeting and check-in. Offered a great restaurant recommendation. I will certainly stay again when returning to Durham NC
- latishiaf (10/5): Work Staycation - The rooms at the Durham Hotel are modern and sleek. The bathrobes are so comfy, and having room service and a fantastic breakfast each morning for a week was a huge bonus. I tried something new on the breakfast menu each day! I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Durham, NC. It's centrally located and walkable to some of the best restaurants, including its rooftop with amazing city views.
- jennifercX5901MS (10/5): Optimal location with good rates and great staff. - Very comfortable stay with excellent staff. The location is ideal if you want to explore the delights of Downtown Durham. And parking is amply available at nearby garages. Breakfast was delicious and had good local baked goods.
- Roxanne (10/5): - Very clean property and room. Very comfortable.
- Sheri (10/5): - Great location, park at the deck across the street (free on weekends/$25 weekdays)- walk to tons of great restaurants downtown. Very cool boutique hotel details like fresh ground coffee dropped at your door in the mornings, and tray of local Durham-made snacks in the room for reasonable prices. Some biological looking stains on our sofa were offputting and our robes had some stains as well. Our carpet in the room had a big bleached out spot at the entrance. The cleaning isn’t impeccable- but I definitely felt the bed linens, towels, and shower/bathroom were clean. Bed was comfy, room was quiet. The desk staff brought up water and ice when we needed it, they were also very friendly and helped with making recommendations. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel sent up a kind gift for our special occasion. Would stay again.
- Alicia (10/5): - Excellent service!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice service, meh rooms. - Isaac at the front desk was excellent. Nice to comp 2 free drinks because it was my birthday! The Superior King room was spacious but quite scant and not so "updated". Adding modern sofa and chair does not constitute a renovation. Walls are bare. TV isn't a smart tv. Not a mirror in the living part of the room - bizarre esp with empty walls. Women need natural light for makeup and that's not offered in the bathroom. Mildew in shower grout. No USB charging options. a/c makes a weird noise with compressor cycling on and off all night. Didn't try the restaurant or rooftop. Lots of noise from the street until 10pm from the banging drums outside.
- Alex (8/5): Durham Bullls Game - My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Front desk check in was very smooth. The front desk clerk was very helpful with info about the hotel and also provided me the rain out number for the Durham Bulls baseball game. Only knock I had was the room didnt get as cold as I'd like. Wasn't miserably hot just not as cold as it should be
- GeorgiaJackets (10/5): Clean, Smart, and Great Location - This hotel has a lot of positive attributes. Cleanliness is most important for us, and we weren’t disappointed! The hotel promotes local products. The snacks for purchase in the room are from Durham companies. They deliver fresh ground local coffee or tea to your room in the mornings. They also offer more coffee downstairs for those who need an additional cup. The hotel’s location is very walkable to shops and restaurants. It does not have on-site parking, but there is a public parking garage very close by. All of the staff we met were very courteous and professional. We would definitely stay here again!!
- Margaret (10/5): - Very conveniently located and had a decent breakfast.
- Susann (10/5): - We loved the location of the hotel and all of the special touches. We really enjoyed the ground local coffee delivered each morning and the coffee bar in the lobby. The snack bar in the room had local products for purchase, and there was a complimentary Burt’s Bees (another local company) hand balm in the room. The rooftop bar is a lot of fun and the hotel is near lots of shops and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean - extremely important to us!! You will love staying here!
- George (10/5): - Once again a great stay!! Front desk is so friendly. Had a great time at the rooftop bar and breakfast was amazing.
- Arthur (8/5): - Good hotel right in downtown. Cool architecture. Splendid public spaces; lobby and rooftop. Large room, pretty spare. Serious about their coffee. Would have been nice if staff had assisted us unloading to check in during a torrential downpour. Several staff standing around inside. No one assisted. Had to come in to borrow umbrella.
- Ihatebooking.com (10/5): Exceptional -
- melissasA5110VI (10/5): Relaxed and Friendly Environment - The main room was very roomy and modern. The bathroom was spa-like, complete with robes. Lots of opportunities to get together for entertainment and great food. For instance, there was a wonderful jazz band whose music was loud, yet awesome.
- Dev_Renae (10/5): A Local Gem - The Durham Hotel is a local gem: great location, locally-sourced food, and personable and friendly staff. The Hotel is modern and clean. It has all the desired amenities with plenty of spaces outside of your assigned room to work, eat, and relax.
- IDST19 (10/5): Great hotel - Fun location just steps away from restaurants and bars (highly recommend Queeny's and King Fisher right next door) and a rooftop bar/lounge on the top floor. Staff is very friendly, hotel / rooms are retro and comfortable, and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.
- h0lt0nw (10/5): The Durham never disappoints - The Durham never disappoints. From the exceptional service, all around professionalism, excellent amenities, and personal touches in the rooms. The food and decor are an additional and significant bonus. One of the most well-run and exceptional hotels in NC and beyond!
- Paul (6/5): - Hotel was great. We ended up in the elevator somehow with two of Durhams wannabe thugs. (2 mouthy women) coming from the rooftop bar. That wanted to get smart , we laughed it off but for the money shouldn’t have to deal with the rif raf.
- MICHAEL L (8/5): - Had a great time at the Durham Hotel. The elevator was a little nerve wracking but everything else was great. Service was excellent and everything we needed was in walking distance.
- Racine (7/5): Good -
- M7348TAsarahs (2/5): Not What I Expected - The gentlemen working at the front desk were extremely friendly, polite, and kind. I enjoyed the lobby areas and the rooftop lounge. The rooms were not cleaned very well and the carpets inside the room created an old, moldy, musty smell that made it very unpleasant. The room decor and bed comforter were uninviting and outdated. I had an obstructed room and although I chose another room before my stay but somehow it managed to be unavailable once I got to my actual room. These rooms are depressing and gave me much anxiety. I had to leave early and there were stains on the comforter. Although I was here for a business trip I would never recommend this hotel. Parking is terrible and should be free for hotel guests.
- kapreno (10/5): Great Durham Hotel - Very nice hotel. Location was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay . Rooftop bar was a great place to relax and unwind after our day of traveling. Also, there were lots of great restaurants within walking distance from the hotel
- Daniel (4/5): - Ugly prison like rooms
- Ellery (6/5): - Room was 2 hours late
- richrF9838PV (10/5): Durham Hotel - great boutique hotel in downtown Durham. Nice location close to restaurants and DPAC. Nice room, staff, service and amenities. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Parking was a half block away and free on the weekend. Huge walk in shower.
- jennifersH2580MR (10/5): Amazing hotel with a perfect "local flair" - Very cool hotel! I loved how everything from the bedspreads to the coffee to the soap was locally-made. And the location is right downtown so you can walk to everything. But the BEST part was the exceptional customer service. Every person who works there is kind and helpful.
- LardyBoy19 (10/5): Great location, friendly staff - Second time I've stayed here on business. Really like this hotel: relaxed, friendly, great location, excellent coffee and food. It's an independent rather than a chain hotel... which may be positive or negative depending on your point of view! I will definitely make a beeline for this place if/when I'm back in Durham.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good night's stay. The food in the cafe was excellent for dinner, the service attentive. A minor problem was addressed swiftly and well. We will return.
- jackie (10/5): - Great property! Perfect place to stay when you have events in Durham
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable hotel with wonderful staff
- GrandTour59826116342 (10/5): Eli was the best - I was here with my co workers for our event. Eli was the best!!! This was such a lovely stay. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating! The hotel room was quiet, clean, and comfortable! Also great location. Would highly recommend if you’re in Durham.
- staciec340 (10/5): 5-star customer service! - This was the perfect hotel for a business trip! Eli and Isaac at the front desk were so accommodating, pleasant, and thoughtful. Everyone was professional and made sure we were taken care of. We were able to check-in early, the rooms were comfortable, and there were several restaurants within walking distance which was super convenient. I also really enjoyed their room service for breakfast.
I'd definitely stay here again!
- AnthonyA862 (10/5): A Great Stay! - The service (Eli is the best!), the food, the ambience all far exceeded my expectations, and I have stayed in more than my fair share of hotels. I especially loved the rooftop bar and lounge. The area is also amazing for food and activities. I highly recommend the Durham hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and cool place to stay.
- Whitney (10/5): Overnight stay for a concert. - Came for a concert at the Carolina Theater & it was literally a 5 minute walk. Great minimalist boutique hotel. Spacious room. Lobby had a cool mid-century feel. Very friendly staff. Fun rooftop bar with cool views. Would definitely stay here again.
- Karen (10/5): - Love the room service option.
- Odyssey504686 (10/5): Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Durham! - Incredibly helpful staff, very clean accommodations, incredible decor and location! It was obvious they had done recent renovations to restore the beautiful carpet in the hallways, lobby and restaurant. The place looked immaculate. The rooftop bar is fantastic and very active on the weekend.
- charlo_9 (10/5): Great value in a pinch - Stayed here while stranded in Durham during the snow storm. Excellent service, friendly desk staff. Loved the spacious shower, and eco-friendly toiletries. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Great rates, especially when other boutique hotels were full. Definitely recommend.
- Erin (1/5): The clerk at the desk during the daytime was pleasant. Other than that there were no redeeming qualities about my stay. - Nothing. Facility was under construction yet there was no mention of it on any of their descriptions. The facility was under construction. We had to use the service elevator which was in an employee’s only area to gain access to our room or visit the roof top amenities. The facility also smelled like sulfur/sewage. It was very unpleasant. Also, the other patrons across from my room had a party and were yelling and playing loud music well past midnight. I had an early flight and had to get up at 0300. I called the front desk and notified them of the disturbance hoping it would be rectified, but it was not. The noise continued until almost 0200.
- Clifford (4/5): Disappointing - T The hotel was under renovation and elevators were not available. It would have been nice to know, would have stayed somewhere else. Bad smells in the hallways and service elevator. Long waits to get to the upper floors. Staff seemed to be lost.
- octavioc932 (10/5): Cool Hotel - What a cool hotel and the personalized coffee service was just exquisite. The beds were heavenly and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
And the breakfast was fabulous, AVOCADO TOAST!!!! Definitely will stay there again. Congratulations on a beautifully thoughtful property.
- lorijH4262DZ (10/5): Fabulous Stay - The staff was amazing. The rooftop bar was great, food and drinks fantastic and the view at sunset was beautiful. The staff at the rooftop bar and at breakfast the next morning were fabulous. Our room was top notch. Great bed and bathroom, clean. We walked to a show at the Carolina Theater in 5 minutes. Will definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient Location - The staff and team were all exceptionally friendly and helpful and the location is about as good as it gets conveniently located to all the best downtown spots.
The lighting in the room was a bit of a challenge, no way to keep a light on by the bed to turn off when you go to bed without good all the way to the door and walking in the dark. The switch by the bed and lights by the bed all only portrayed by the door switch. Minor but annoying inconvenience.
Someone upstairs was very loud it sliced like they were throwing furniture around the room at all hours of the night and morning so i has a rough night of sleep.
