- Bente (8/5): Fint sted som kan anbefales. - God beliggenhet, med gangavstand til flere strender og til Oistins. Rent og fint, praktisk med svømmebasseng for en ettermiddagsdukkert. Fin perm i leiligheten med mange praktiske opplysninger og tips til aktiviteter, og et utvalg av magasiner og bøker. Savnet litt mer utstyr for å lage mat på kjøkkenet. Tørkemulighetene for vått badetøy og håndklær kunne vært bedre. Ekstra toalettpapir og avfallsposer hadde vært glimrende.

- Robert (7/5): Very clean, comfortable but noisy, with very helpful management. - Katie , the manager, was exceptionally pleasant, efficient and helpful. She went out of her way to show us the local food store and restaurants. As well, she was readily available for any needs we had, remaining always discreet . She is a gem for anyone in Barbados. . The noise from the appartement upstairs, most notable moving of chairs. As well, no ACV in living room and kitchen, which means leaving Windows open and hearing noise from people at the pool ( e.g., the owner speaking on the phone at the pool early morning). The beach, which was at a walking distance, was not easily swimmable.

Also dropped keys off for us at the beach as we had left our luggage earlier than check in time. Very spacious living area and kitchen and two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Good sized balcony and nice temperature for the pool. Very comfy large beds and pillows. about 30mins walk to Dover Beach but taxi's always stopped to either get to Bridgetown or Oistens at the bottom of road so very easy to get about. toilet in en-suite needs attention
- Alexander (9/5): The Cottage apartment, a comfortable refuge from the sun. - Fantastic hosts, always helpful and approachable. Very clean and well appointed accommodation, Cottage apt is a great size for a couple. Definitely recommend The Cottage to guests who appreciate an escape from the sun, easy to keep comfortable with 4 silent ceiling fans, 2 air conditioning units and no direct sunlight through the windows (although there is a useful view of the pool from the front door) and a shaded outdoor seating area. Secluded little swimming pool shared with other residents, only overlooked by Villa Riana apartments. Options for shaded seating or sun worshipping. Pool was clean, easily accessible and refreshingly cool with side fountain and underwater jets. Location gives a good base for exploring, with an easy 5 to 10 minute walk to the main coast road between Oistins and Bridgetown, and 20 mins walk to Welches Beach or Maxwell Beach. Plenty of varied bars and eateries within that area. Always felt like a safe neighbourhood, with the usual friendly Bajan locals, but Villa was also very secure. No view to speak of from The Cottage, and sun worshippers might prefer one of Villa Riana's other apartments with more exposed balconies, but this was fairly reflected in the price. The adjacent washroom pipework was audible when in use, but this was only occasional, only during the daytime and not especially intrusive (once we figured out where the running water was coming from!). The sofa was a little uncomfortable, but the rest of the furnishings were absolutely fine. Best to send Whatsapp location pin to any taxi drivers you order as some struggled to find the Villa (only due to current Google Maps location being slightly off).

- Griffin (10/5): Short break with mates and we personally all agree that this place made the trip extra special and enjoyable - One of the only private villas that had a pool and we made the most of this every single morning. The location was absolutely spot on as it’s central to Oistins/St Lawrence gap and walking distance to a small beach. The room we booked was massive with 3 good sized double bedrooms and a really spacious living area. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Katie welcomed us when we arrived, very lovely woman always making sure we were ok and having a laugh together. Even got a nice present for my birtday!!!! Everything is very clean thanks to lovely lady Angie, compliments!!!!! There's also a very nice and very clean pool, super for a day chilling after a night out to one (or more) of the many bars walking distance or easy to go to by bus or taxi.
