- erikmW6036KF (10/5): Friends and Family - Lovely hotel and the staff was incredible
- O'rear (9/5): Second time we've stayed there as a group. The staff is very pleasant and accomodating - Location is great. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating the inside restaurant was minimum
- Chris (10/5): - Great hotel right in the heart of Cusco.
- Cristian Yoner (10/5): - Excelente
- Rajat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Gracious staff throughout, beautifully designed hotel, inviting and cozy. Highly recommend! - Graciously, we were able to have a room set up, nearly 5hrs before check in, at no extra cost. This positively exceeded expectation.
The hotel has various sitting areas that are very cozy & inviting. Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (7/5): Good -
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Great location, staff is very friendly. Including breakfast. The shower had a nice pressure and very hot water.
- Tiffany (8/5): Good stays - Nice staffs, good location, accommodations yours need Water power is weak
- Pat (9/5): Great breakfast! Perfect location. - Breakfast was awesome! Great restaurants on the same street. Just a block from the main square. Hot water was unpredictable.
- Mhari (8/5): - Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Property and buildings were stunningly beautiful and historic, perfectly located near Plaza Da Armas, museums, markets, restaurants...etc.
The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Try the Lomo Saltado.
- Marc (6/5): - super cute boutique hotel
- Erwin (9/5): value for money - close to everything construction of nearby room
- Amina (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cristina (8/5): - The room is really cold. Very noisy since it’s close to the club behind the alley. Music went on until 4am
- Michele (7/5): Worth the value. Get good neighbors 😊 - The location is great, clean rooms and very friendly helpful staff Unfortunately I had some neighbors that played music and were very loud at 2:30am. It wasn’t a quiet property.
- Sam (1/5): Bad -
- Sam (1/5): Avoid at all costs - Room was small, cramped, cold and damp.
Rooms are advertised as having a balcony, but they just have the door to your room opening on to the central courtyard, so no balcony.
There was a dog on the top floor which would start barking at 6am every morning and wake you up. No chance of a lie in.
Breakfast was really poor, when they ran out of something, it wouldn’t be topped up. Ran out of cups for coffee. Nothing whatsoever
- Romana (5/5): Unfortunately based on my personal experience with the noise and not running water I cannot recomend - 2 minutes walk from main square, stuff helpfull with ensuring of trips and taxi. Also luggage room available. Heating and hair dryer should be available and it was not. Considering winter (cold) season in Cuzco it was disappointing. I got room No.208, which is basically next to music club. The music (including life drums and singing people) is playing all night long till the morning. Not even ear plugs helped. I could luckily move to another room where I had problem with water next night (not running water after 16h trip, when you are dirty and cold is not what you paid for). Stuff explained me next day there was an issue with water in whole block and got me refund for that night. Breakfast is only till 9 am and it is not supplemented, so first come better options.
- 358yanisak (10/5): Great experience, especially the great staff here - The staffs here are so nice, helpful, considerate, and ofcourse have good service-mind, especially Monica and Gracela. The room is not that modern but clean and cozy. The location is best for starting the tour and also finding something to eat and drink. It’s one of the cost-effective choice.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed on 3 seperate occasions for 1 night each around our tours and the hotel had luggage storage so we didn't have to take everything with us which was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful with someone always there. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything you needed. The location was amazing, right by the main square with loads to do and places to eat/drink right on the doorstep. The breakfast was OK but things did run out quite a bit so id recommend going early.. The last night there was a dog in the room above ours which was quite noisy.
- Boris (8/5): Nice location. - It's a colonial mansion very well suited for stays. It was very clean. It's very well located in the colonial part of Cusco, where there are restaurants for different budgets. I found the room price a bit expensive, but overall, it was comfortable.
- ShareKhan4 (6/5): A mixed bag - We stayed here for 4 nights on a trip to Cusco and surroundings. We had a 2+1+1 night itinerary as we were out of Cusco for some nights in between and as a result stayed in 3 separate rooms.
The breakfast which we had once, was very good with many options. The local bread is great.
We used the laundry service and luggage storage which was efficient.
Location is good and convenient for many shops and eating places.
Each room was very different- first was like a freezer and the hot water in the bathroom took ages to heat up. Second room was comfortable but the bathroom had not a single hook to hang anything not even a towel - weird. Third room was the best with everything working.
We asked them to arrange a taxi to drop us to the airport at 0530hrs on our last morning which they said they’d do. When we got to the front desk at 0530 they hadn’t a clue and called the taxi only then, and it turned up after 15 mins.
Overall communication is not their strong point. I would not stay here again.
- Sameer (5/5): Very mixed experience and would not stay here again - We stayed here a total of 4 nights between a few tours around Cusco.
Breakfast was very good. The rooms were quite variable - our first room was like a freezer, second room’s bathroom had zero hooks to hang anything including towels! and the third room was decent.
We requested them to arrange a taxi to the airport early morning on our checkout day and they said it would be complimentary as we had stayed long, which was nice of them. But then when we got to the front desk at the appointed time they hadn’t called the taxi and it took another 15 minutes to show up as a result
- Myexperience2 (8/5): Very good hotel near the Plaza - Really lovely hotel! After moving to my third accommodation in Cusco, I came across this hotel on foot which is a 3 min walk from the main Plaza.
Given its location, the hotel is truly scenic and the courtyard gives a lovely quiet vibe. This is a 3 star, so note that the rooms are a bit tired and pictures definitely show it as more modern than it is. It is generally quiet however there is a very loud barking dog in the roof which kept me up the first night. I asked for them to move the dog but this wasn’t done, not sure why a dog lives on the roof of a hotel..?
However, I must say there is ample hot water which is a rarity in Cusco! The staff are super helpful in arranging laundry, early check out and any other queries I had.
A minor point but I wasn’t told that I could have a breakfast bag to go when leaving at 3/4am for early hikes - I asked for one on my last day and sadly it did not have a sandwich, just two tiny bananas and a tangerine.
For the price, the hotel is decent and hot water is the key star for me!
- Nathalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rod (3/5): Poor - Great location, nice courtyard area No hot water so had to have a cold shower at 8am, the noise from the courtyard was highly disruptive and kept me awake most of the night, the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied and contained filthy used toilet tissue, poor breakfast.
- Geraldin (8/5): Very good -
- Monique (8/5): - Great location, minutes away from Plaza des Armes. Clean, friendly staff
- Matheus (6/5): Ok hotel, could be better - The hotel is ok, but the room was bellow average with a window leading to the stair. No heating and we were informed that breskfast was after 6am and was in fact after 7am.
The location was very good and staff very polite.
- Laura (8/5): - This is a small hotel in a very convenient location. It felt safe and comfortable. The rooms and public areas were all clean.
The breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety of drinks, fruit and foods.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
- Paulboy123 (1/5): Terrible experience - The room was absolutely terrible. Cold water, noisy, dirty, ignorant staff, over-hyped in every regard.
I only stayed 1 out of 5 nights and left for another hotel.
I complained to booking.com who were also terrible in their response.
A really poor experience
- Guzaliya (6/5): Pleasant - Check in was quick The room provided was very humid and had the mold smell, it was difficult to breathe inside.
- Tony (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gabriel (8/5): Very good -
- Tyler (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eliane (10/5): Muito bom!
- Regina (6/5): - The staff was super nice and friendly, and they were very accommodating when I asked to change rooms because of the noise. There's construction going on, so you cant sleep past 8 am, and sometimes they start vacuuming at 7:30 am... I stayed there in March, was freezing cold in the room, there were extra blankets, but was still very cold and the shower was barely warm. But it's very conveniently located 3 minutes away from Plaza de Armas and many cafes and restaurants.
- Tim (10/5): - Nice place close to everything, original booking on Expedia showed king bed but place only had double beds, staff were very nice and accommodating
- Francis (7/5): Sydney Groupies - Centrally located to the city amenities and other attractions. Breakfast service is a little chaotic. The staff I think is new to the job so the replenishment of food plates and utensils were very delayed. Water was turned off for about 2 hours from midnight on the last 2 nights of our stay.
- Bernard (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (6/5): Nice folks, shoddy hotel - The location was good, and you can tell it was an amazing hotel 20 years ago. Personnel were friendly. The property hadn’t been kept up. Sadly. Nothing truly awful but an incredible number of minor drawbacks and inconveniences: In the room, the walls were crated and badly patched, the paint was peeling, the carpet was stained in every posible place, the mattresses were worn out, the bathroom was horribly mildewy, the water pressure and temperature were inconsistent, the old toilet functioned correctly q out 2/3 of the time, there was loud music outside every night, voices in the early morning outside the room, the curtain didn’t stop the light, the steps outside were uneven, and the trellis was overgrown, breakfast was so-so and constantly missing items from napkins to forks, one time in the middle of the day we had to wait outside in the rain because the receptionist left and locked the door and once they forgot to clean our room.
- Guiselle (9/5): Confortable stay and very hospitable and attentive staff - It is very well located, very near the main square
- Miguel (6/5): Pleasant - Very central, close to everything . Near to main square Bed were not comfy.
- Fausto (5/5): Passable - The location is perfect, near Plaza de Armas. The service can be better. First, in the checkin, you need to fill out a form like a test asking for many PII that it doesn't make sense.
We traveled with a toodler of 2.5 years, who got the altitude sickness and vomited, we clean the sheet with wipes but the hotel was charging us and extra fee for cleaning services, pay attention to this.
- Fausto (5/5): Passable -
- Kodandapani (8/5): Very good -
- Seunghun (6/5): - How water is not served in the washhands
- Kodandapani (9/5): Excellent location with great staff - Location and the staff. Amazing location with easy access to city historic center, restaurants, shopping, and tours. Staff is amazingly impressive. Great customer care. Little old inside. Not great lighting and ventilation inside. But there are courtyards, great place to hang around.
- Eric (5/5): Passable -
- Lisa (10/5): - The staff are very sweet. Location was perfect, breakfast 10/10
- Saga (8/5): Very good - Small hotel only one block to central plaza. Warm blankets for the room . Staff really nice but spoke only Spanish but still very friendly. A bit old and small for a twin room. Tv not working and not much light in the room. Not always hot water but it's common in the country. One night lot of screaming all night no one did anything about it. Staff next morning was gonna check about it. Safe hotel but a bit scary with the angry and screaming person. They also banged on different doors. Spoke in Spanish so I didn't know what it was all about.
- Kseniia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location, clean, friendly - Cute hotel at perfect location, around 2 minutes from the main Plaza. Breakfast was really nice and staff as well. There’s always hot water and a tea selection for free. They also offer a laundry service. The rooms have no heating which is why I felt a little bit cold but they had extra blankets, which then was good.
- Victor (8/5): Thumbs up - The location is perfect and the hotel has a courtyard patio. And restaurant. Good breakfast. An old building in the old part of town, quiet. The rooms are very clean, very basic, but I would certainly stay there again as it’s steps from all the interesting sites in the old town.
- Melinda (8/5): - I really loved the location, the staff and the price. It can be loud at times, as in the walls must not be insulated at all ie people with the very early or late arrivals/ checkouts, doors slamming and music from a bar close by until wee hours. I did manage to get somewhat used to all that and slept pretty well as I stayed for over a week off & on storing my luggage when I needed to. The complimentary breakfast was nice and staff was great always willing to help when you needed. I would recommend if you’re looking for location, cleanliness and economy budget.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Dario (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (6/5): - Hotel location is best close by plaza mayor de Cusco.
You can get anything there like Restaurants, giftshops , Bars , Tourist Agencies for you to choose.
Water pressure is best.
Hot water just 2 second after you turn in on in the shower.
Bed is very comfortable.
Room is a little bit small for 2 people.
Towers are not enough.
- David (4/5): aging and outdated hotel - Good localisation hôtel but very dated and lot of thing broken
- Enkhmaa (8/5): - This property had a great location, 2 min walk from the main square. The property in general is very outdated. Room was ok, with narrow window to court yard, was very cold and dark. Bathroom was good size but very cold and dark. The heater was provided upon the request. Breakfast was decent. I purchased tours with the hotel front desk, prices were good, tours picked up us from hotel. The hotel provided with to go breakfasts when we were leaving early for tours, that was very nice touch.
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Carlos (10/5): - El personal excepcional
- PAOLA (6/5): - The location is perfect, a few steps away from Plaza de Armas and a variety of restaurants and shops. Nice option if you are not looking for luxury.
- Marco (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and approachable. They all provided good customer service.
- Romeo (4/5): In general, the hotel did not met our expectations. The location was excellent - Breakfast was good and the location was also good The beds were very poor for example the mattress
- Arif (7/5): Fantastic location but some issues with service - Fantastic location - in the heart of the centre, lots of restaurants/shops nearby and walking distance to train stations.
Very good quality breakfast with good variety and service.
Hot water/tea available 24/7 - however often water tank was empty or cold - though staff were helpful in refilling upon request. We had some issues with our room (light penetrating through the door which has glass panels) and breakfast boxes (we asked for vegetarian but did not get this) - we were appropriately compensated for the inconvenience and hope this will be attended to for future guests.
Overnight staff speak limited English, which can cause difficulties addressing issues out of hours.
The roads around hotel are busy and noisy often with loud music from local clubs/pubs that can affect sleep.
- Waleska (8/5): - Nice Place
- Adriana (6/5): - The property is old. It is clean but do not expect the best. Noise outside of room was very loud from the bars to people checking in late. Also the room has no ventilation other than a window that opens up to the court yard where everyone walks by. It is very convenient location for the price. But I would not stay there again. I was there for one night. The staff is nice and helpful.
- Maggie (10/5): - Excellent customer service
- Kristiaan (8/5): Perfect location to visit the historical centre of the magnificent city of Cusco. - Perfect location to visit the historical centre of the magnificent city of Cusco.

- Niranthari (10/5): Perfect vacation with the family - Everything especially the staff.
- Karina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gothandaraman (6/5): Pleasant - The location was perfect, as it was in the few blocks from the center of the Cusco. The room was comfortable for a family of 4, making it convenient access to the restaurants in the city.
- Liana (10/5): - The staff is very kind and helpful.
- Fernando (8/5): Might not be the best choice - Location and breakfast The room is smaller than it looks like and could be cheaper
- Mickael (9/5): Superb - View cute patio, rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for a family. Good quality beds.
Excellent location. Good service, simple but good breakfast. No water fountain in the facilities.
No fridge in the room
- Nicolas (7/5): Good -
- camilleh81 (10/5): Great hotel, very well located - We had an excellent experience at the Oblitas.
We stayed there for 4nights with our children. The family room we had was great and the beds very comfortable.
The bedroom was clean and had everything you need. There is no hair drier, but the reception has one on demand.
There are sofas on each floor where you can hang out, and the patio is very cute.
The location is incredibly convenient and breakfast is simple but good.
So all in all we highly recommend this hotel!
- Kurtis (9/5): Good location, friendly staff, other rooms probably better. - Great location, very friendly staff, decent breakfast, hot showers, secure entry, 24hr reception. Room was cold and seems like a poorly built add on with no insulation at all (split level apartment). The heaters barely kept the room bearable. Dirtiest hotel we stayed in in all of Peru so far (8 hotels now) but still fairly clean, mostly just dusty under furniture which has not been the case elsewhere. Loud at night due to club somewhere nearby, goes until 5:30am sometimes, earplugs help.
- Mordechai (7/5): Good -
