Guest Reviews
- Gary (10/5): - Excellent place to stay very peaceful but lots of places to eat & drink close at hand
- STEPHEN (8/5): - Very nice property, would stay again. However, breakfast was off the menu at the time of my stay due to unknown circumstances, and no discount offered.
- Tony (10/5): - Perfect location and nice people
- Philip (8/5): Quaint. - Lovely little place to stay. Friendly welcome although the house rules were a bit over the top regarding the cats and the doors. I’m sorry but we were guests if the cats are a problem then unfortunately that’s for you to sort out not but it on the guests. Also not everyone likes cats around them at breakfast time. The room needs some updating. The bathroom sink had a bad crack in it which was badly repaired. The hot water tap was undone (which we were told about) and the towel rail on the bathroom door was broken.
Excellent breakfast.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - A quirky little place, very welcoming and ideally situated to explore the town and surrounding area. Good breakfast and very helpful owner.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is an old historic building that has restrictions on what can be done on it structurally. Yet it has clean modern facilities inside. All very comfortable, while retaining the charm of the building. Our host - Darryl - was so helpful and hospitable. Everything from best places to eat, topping up our in-room supplies, where to park for what, and breakfasts that were vastly above the average "full English". I can't say enough about what a find this place was. Price was very moderate for the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was warm, comfortable and convenient served by excellent, inexpensive restaurants only a short walk away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Only stayed one night which is a shame. Beautiful quirky property, loved the bedroom as it’s in a separate building just off the courtyard away from the owners family home. Lovely touches wherever you look, comfy bed too. The owner was exceptionally personable and is very proud of his business and rightly so. Great recommendations for local restaurants in this beautiful part of Worcestershire. Will definitely return.
- Peter (10/5): - Exceptional stay. Daryl couldn't do enough. Breakfast top notch. Best Sausages ever. So quiet and peaceful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautiful listed B&B with the bedrooms in the courthouse. Room spotless with tea & coffee making facilities also bottled water provided. Host very friendly giving advice on the restaurants, bars & places to see. Breakfast was excellent & plentiful. Would definitely recommend & will be returning for a longer stay in the future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were invited into a loving happy home. Our whole stay was exemplary from comfortable bed, beautiful accommodation with sitting room and garden patio to helpful friendly hosts where nothing was too much trouble.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful location, very friendly and helpful owner... couldn't do enough for you. Excellent breakfast.
- Peter (8/5): - Excellent price with a lovely room and breakfast also very welcoming host.dont miss out if you need accommodation in this area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Access to the property was ideal as the rooms are in a separate building behind the owners property with a small courtyard. Our room was the larger double at the back of the building which was delightful, fresh and clean. Darrell, the owner was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable about the area and simply a great host. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with local produce.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Good fresh food. Excellent restaurants in easy walking distance. Parking over the road. Helpful host. This is a hidden gem at a realistic price.
- David (10/5): Highly recomment - Daryl was an amazing host and could not do more for us, location was excellent and definaltly will be going back!
- David (10/5): One night stay - A warm welcome, lovely clean and warm rooms and lots of friendly advice about where's to eat and the local area.
- Mr Benjamin Brewin (10/5): Delightful place, exceptional host - Delightful place. Darrell is an exceptional host and runs his B&B very well. Makes you feel at home. Great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent in every respect. Would highly recommend.
- PeterR (10/5): - A very clean and comfortable room, slighty small, but room enough for two. Very good cooked breakfasts. A pleasant owner, more than willing to recommend local pubs/restaurants. Would use again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Exactly as described. - Lovely B&B. Perfect for what we wanted.
- Leanne (10/5): Fabulous stop over - Lovely room, quiet location, fabulous hosts. Breakfast was delicious. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again.
- Pat (10/5): - Stopover en route to Dorset. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and a good breakfast.Bed was extremely comfy. Friendly and helpful owner. B&B in a good position in town and parking is not a problem.
- vacationer (8/5): Small B&B - Nice enough b & b but let down by very small room. Asked on arrival what we what would like for breakfast without seeing a menu and then not getting it, especially as I have tomato allergies.
- Eileen (10/5): good trip - Very comfortable and very friendly b and b. Also good recommendation to the tapis restaurant in the village. Would stay again and could recommend this as a good place to stay.
- David (10/5): One of the best in Worcestershire. - Overall a very good stay. Rooms located at rear of the property, away from the road, so a no road noise.
- Lynne (10/5): Great break - We were having a get together with friends so an overnight stay was ideal, easy booking and the b&b was close to the marina where we were visiting. The b&b was an excellent choice we would definitely stay there again Darrell & Rae were very friendly and helpful the room was excellent and breakfast excellent too.
- mac (10/5): superb little gem. - the best B&B we have been to. Darrell the host was very helpful and attentive with nothing too much trouble, lovely premises, comfortable bed ,spotlessly clean and a super breakfast, cannot compliment him enough, his wife and children were a delight too. The B& is right in the centre of town, lovely experience.
- Paul (10/5): Excellent small B&B with great hosts. - We stayed at Old Street B&B on 5th July 2018. This is a lovely B&B set in small listed buildings which have been tastefully decorated in a welcoming family way. We loved it. Our hosts Darrell & Rachel are a very friendly couple who couldn’t do enough for us. Darrell told us the best places to eat, and as guests at his B&B we were given a 10% discount at the best restaurant in town. The location in the middle of Upton was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and had everything you would expect. We were only In Upton for one night following a wine tasting/tour nearby but we’re looking forward to returning to Old Street B&B, and would definitely recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nicely central. Delightful family B and B. Our hosts could not have been more hospitable!
- Mike (10/5): Excellent one-night stay - Very friendly welcome. We had the smallest room, in lovely fresh, comfortable and cool. Excellent breakfast at a time to suit us (rather than a set meal time).
Highly recommended!
- Guy (10/5): Upton - All went well
