• Elisabetta (9/5): Vivere Kos in completo relax - Affacciato direttamente su di un mare stupendo, possibilità di rimanere in struttura ed usufruire della piscina annessa con sdraio ed ombrelloni sia sulla spiaggia che attorno alla piscina. Per quanto riguarda la nostra stanza era molto silenziosa, la signora Maria che si è occupata delle pulizie ci ha fornito sempre il cambio asciugamani e lenzuola ogni 2 giorni. Cucinotto piccolissimo e con stoviglie contate (solo per 2 persone..). Per cucinare erano presenti solo due piastre fuoco!

Leuke poolbar waar je drankje kan doen! 👍 Gasten die dmv handdoek op strandbed leggen de hele dag strandbed claimen bij zwembad hangt bord dat dit niet mag, dit graag ook doorvoeren bij het strand.

• Andrea (10/5): ein wunderschöner Urlaub - super Lage direkt am Strand, sehr schöner Blick vom Appartment aufs Meer leider zu windig und frisch, sodass es auf den Liegen am Strand und Frühstück auf dem Balkon leider zu kühl war.
• Grace (10/5): PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT - COME TO THIS ACCOMMODATION. Everything was perfect, the room, the balcony view, the private beach, the location to the bus and the town and most importantly the town fantastic staff who were so kind and helpful and friendly. Yanis and Maria are very welcoming and made our stay so enjoyable. From organising taxis, local bikes, providing drinks, history and cleaning our room most days. We really felt like we hit the jackpot with this accommodation. It is a 15 min walk into Tigaki ( 5 min cycle £30 for a week’s hire) and littrally right next to the bus stop direct to Kos town.

• janet (9/5): Byron Hotel apartment is lovely. - It was lovely being near the sea and having a bus stop just over the road, to go into Kos town. Maria the cleaner was very helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I would make is to have a Microwave in the Studio.

• Szjoin (10/5): Geweldig vakantieverblijf - Lokatie, uitzicht, aangrenzend strand. Speciale vermelding voor gastvrouw Maria. We zijn weer allerhartelijkst ontvangen en de schoonmaak was uitstekend geregeld. Barman Iannis was ook van grote toegevoegde waarde en altijd in voor een leuk gesprek. De eigenaar heeft ons heerlijke granaatappel gegeven, wat erg aardig was. Ons verzoek vooraf voor een bepaalde kamer is gehonoreerd en dat was erg fijn. Bedden, douche had geen douchegordijn dus altijd natte bende.

• Sabrina (9/5): Alles wunderbar und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt - Die Lage und Aussicht ist einfach top! Ebenso die neu eröffnete kleine Bar ist sehr schön um vormittags zum Kaffee und abends einen Drink vorbeizuschauen. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet man hat alles was man braucht. Das Bett könnte etwas bequemer sein und anstatt zwei Einzelbettrn ein Doppelbett.
• Sylke (10/5): Erholung in angenehmer Atmosphäre - Wir waren bereits mehrmals an diesem wunderschönen und gepflegten Ort. Es sind nur wenige Schritte bis zum Meer. Jedes Appartment hat Meeresblick. Die Mitarbeiter sind herzlich, engagiert und zuvorkommend. Maria vom Housekeeping ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Es gibt seit diesem Jahr auch eine Bar, an der Janis neben u.a. Ausflugsempfehlungen, coolen Drinks und chilliger Musik auch lokale Produkte anbietet. Für uns die perfekte Umgebung zu entspannen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüsse von Susanne und Sylke. Da fällt uns nichts zu ein.

• Danielle (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf op paradijselijke locatie! - Fantastisch uitzicht, heel dicht aan zee, genoeg strandstoelen, mooie tuin en zwembad. Fijne dagelijkse schoonmaak en handdoekwissel. Prima douche, bed oke. Chille sfeer en redelijk kleinschalig met 15 appartementen Best gehorig af en toe, doucheruimte werd helemaal nat door te weinig douchescherm.
• Andrea (7/5): Vacation windy but really nice - Byron Apartment Review The Byron Apartment offers both advantages and disadvantages. The first-floor view is picturesque, while the second-floor balcony provides an exceptional panoramic view of the sea. Ground-floor sea view apartments are satisfactory. The pools are remarkably tranquil. The staff are friendly, the gardener (who is also the owner) is helpful, and the housekeeper, Maria, is lovely. Yannie is also a pleasant individual. The shop is approximately a 10-minute walk away, offering a supermarket and two restaurants. The main shopping area, gift shops, and numerous restaurants are located within 20-30 minutes of the apartment. Overall, I would rate this hotel as a satisfactory 3 out of 5 stars. However, Room 1 is not recommended due to an unpleasant damp smell and excessive heat. The kitchen and seating area lack air conditioning. Back of the hotel garden view rooms are not suitable for those who don’t want a view of the main road. The rooms are adequately equipped, but the floors could be cleaner. The WiFi is not always good working only 3/10 The beach is not entirely private, as locals and tour groups can access it at any time. While the Byron Sunbeds are not permitted, the Byron showers by the pool and garden are accessible. This arrangement may have created a sense of insecurity. Negative aspects include the absence of responses through booking.com, late checkout restrictions, causing unnecessary problems. And the presence of locals and tour groups who frequently party until early hours in the corner of the beach. This disturbance affected us for a few nights only, but thankfully, Yannie and another staff member alerted the police, preventing the use of a horrendous speaker van from 12pm until 2 a.m., particularly concerning to us and other guests especially with children.
• Geertruida (9/5): Ideale, mooie locatie met kinderen - De locatie aan het strand en aan de rand van Tigaki, heel vriendelijk personeel, iedere dag schone handdoeken, gehuurde elektrische fietsen die op locatie werden gebracht en gehaald, bar bij het zwembad, uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Mieren die over het aanrecht liepen, douchekop die niet opgehangen kon worden, geluid op straat in de nacht.

• gabriele (4/5): - arrivati non c'era nessuno a riceverci, reception inesistente, solo un cartello appeso col nostro cognome e il numero della camera. entrati, ci siamo accorti subito della scarsissima pulizia, capelli nel letto, sotto il letto polvere di almeno 1 mese, ragnatele ai muri, armadio con puzza di vecchio. nel periodo trascorso abbiamo avuto a che fare con 2 scarafaggi nella stanza....pazzesco! sconsigliatissimo!!!

• Philippe (10/5): Un très bon souvenir - La liberté, une petite cuisine pour se faire son petit déjeuner, son café sans horaires. La proximité de la plage, quelques mètres, une piscine pas très grande mais très chaude. Juste un bar au bord de la piscine. Un personnel super sympa, mais c'est déjà le cas pratiquement partout en Grèce. Un peu à l'écart mais pas trop donc tranquillité et encore possible de se rendre au village à pied ou en bus, arrêt en face de l'hôtel. Très belle expérience. Franchement rien à signaler tout fonctionne même si pas de première jeunesse.
• Jim (10/5): Relaxing bliss. Quiet location, very well maintained. Facilities & Staff were excellent. - Initially a little confused about collecting the key as we were arriving late and did not expect anyone on site. However, there was someone, Yannis.. who showed us there is a board at the entrance of the block, displaying new arrivals names and room number. When you arrive at your room, the door is open and the key is on the inside of the door. Makes sense now :-) Originally we were disappointed to find that we had to change rooms on day 4. We were reluctant to unpack everything on arrival , and mentally it was difficult to fully settle in as we'd have to repack for the move. However, the move went smoothly, Yannis was on hand to help with cases and it was only a move to next door, so we didnt have to change floors or block. Maria had the new room fully cleaned and turned over early in the morning so we didnt have to waste time waiting around. The room was of equal high standard.

• Brian (8/5): Good but some improvements would make it great - The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the beach! The apartments are getting a little dated inside! As a family of 4, I felt the room was too crammed and the materesses outside of the main bed were quite hard and uncomfortable! So for 2 people I would recommend but more than 2 probably not as its too crammed and you need to use the sofa beds which are not comfortable

• Lisa (9/5): Lovely comfortable apartment with great views. - The apartment was in a quiet area at the end of the road along the beach from Tigaki. It’s quite a long walk into the the main part of Tigaki however the bus stop is outside by the apartment. The bus route takes in Tigaki before heading into Kos. The apartment is situated on its own area on the beach with free sunbeds for guests. The pool area is kept in pristine condition. We stayed in the larger apartment which had a huge balcony looking out to the beach and views of Turkey. The nearest small supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. There is a stall selling fruit and veg along the road. An excellent taverna Ampeli is close by and well worth a visit and it’s worth noting that it is closed on Tuesdays. Another great place on the outskirts of Tigaki is Sagittarius which is close to a big supermarket and can be reached by bus. The staff at Byron work very hard to keep the building and apartments in a good condition. The linen and towels were changed frequently.j I would stay at Byron again when visiting Kos. The bathroom shower has an open end so the floor was wet after every shower. Also the sink needs a little attention. The kitchen cooking facilities is limited which is fairly usual for Greece however a conventional toaster would have been useful.

• Sandra (10/5): A Holiday in Paradise - We enjoyed so much at Byron, the location is amazing, it is right on the beach but still close to Tigaki centre. During the night you can hear the sound of the sea and little waves, it is truly relaxing. The beach is perfect, with crystal clear azure water and white sparkling sand. The garden is spectacular, with a lot of green, palms and different plants. Our room was at the ground floor so having the breakfast or lunch at the balcony with a spectacular view and jumping right over to the sea, was more than we could ask for. Maria, the lady which is handling the apartments, was truly a 'Superman' and a 'Spiderman' :) She is very kind and energetic person and she helped with suggestions what to see around. My partner is Italian and I am Serbian speaking a little Greek, so she would speak with us with a mix of English, Italian and Greek that would make us smile every morning. We had amazing German neighbours who made us such a nice surprise prior to their departure - Matthias and Katharina hopefully we can get in touch! We suggest renting a scooter as there are amazing places to see at Kos! Truly a holiday to remember and Byron will remain in our hearts forever! • Sarah (6/5): Good for beach access and quiet. Clean rooms but disappointed with response regarding cockroaches. - Maria, who cleaned the apartments was there and had indicated which rooms were ours; she was very obliging and hard working and kept high standards. Our parents on the Ground Floor had trouble with cockroaches - we expect to see one or two but they became more frequent and when we lifted the sofa bed cover we found that they were getting through the wall and coming out into the room. I rang the number for assistance but the person hung up saying they would speak to Maria who was expected to spray them. We had already been provided with spray and it was not really satisfactory as further insects came through the wall. Some still continued to emerge and this made the last days of our stay not so pleasant. I would also recommend hiring bikes or other transport as it is some distance if you want a variety of tavernas/shops and the bus is not always reliable.

Maria, the housekeeper, was very sweet and helpful. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy, too. The view from our room was amazing. Nothing, everything was good.

She keeps the apartments spotless and is always there to help. She has become a very good friend. The apartments are close to the town where you can visit the owners with any issues. Again, they are so helpful and friendly! I would recommend the Byron to anyone,,,it has become our second home! Nothing...it was perfect!

Sometimes on the beach it was only our family and during the night can sleep with open doors hearing the sea. The best taverna Ampeli on walking distance, fresh fruits 5 min walk, supermarket with cheap prices 10 min walk and Tigaki 20 min walk. Maria great cleaning, Tasos looking after the property and Kostas thank you for organising the best boat trips. Highly recommend the place for best holidays and definitely will be back.

• Litsa (10/5): Loved my stay and my location! I could go back again and again! - Byron over exceeded my expectations! My apartment was perfect for me! The bedroom overlooked the ocean and my bed was very comfortable!!! I had read in the reviews about Maria who takes care of all the units and she immediately became a friend! She makes sure you have everything you need! Works tirelessly from the early morning till 3:00 every day including weekends! Mr Tasos takes care of the property and the gardens and if you have any issues all you have to do is let Maria know and he gets it done! I found that my shower head was loose and after letting Maria know in the morning, I found it fixed when I came back in the afternoon! Quiet location, guests are pleasant and courteous, private little beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas! A no fuss no frills place to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Kos! I can’t wait to go back! 🇬🇷💙 I had leftovers after my dinners so maybe a small microwave to reheat the food?

• Jelena (8/5): Excellent micro-location for those who like peace and quiet! - The location of the property is excellent. Our appartment faced the north and there was never direct sun (end of June). We could enjoy the balcony and the seaview from morning to evening. The beach in front of the building was equipped with comfortable sunbeds - for Byron guests only! The bonus was a natural shade from the tamarisk trees! A bit windy, but very welcome during the summer. Maybe to consider in the spring or autumn...

Maria was her usual helpful self - a treasure and always ready to answer any of your questions. I would recommend the Byron Apartments to anyone!! Nothing to dislike.
• Eva (9/5): Hope to be back one day - Lovely apartment with all the basic amenities. The acommodation offers a private pool and sun loungers at the pool and on the beautiful sandy beach. We loved every second of our stay! Not many food options very close. However not a problem if you're renting a car. There is also a local bus that stops directly at Byron.

The apartment was very clean and Miss Maria was helpful and accommodating. A very lovely experience and if a score of 11 was available the Byron would definitely get it! NOTHING

Private location with pool and free sunbeds on grass and sand..Massive thanks to Maria and Tasus ( Not sure if this is the correct spelling !) for keeping the apartments and gardens in great shape and for being so helpful . Will recommend to all and will return. Everything.

• Michael (10/5): A lucky choice for us and anyone considering staying with the Byron. - Byron is located at the end of Tigaki beach and is very peaceful.There is a supermarket 10 minute stroll away, two taverna and a very good pizzeria cum light snack bar within the same 10 minute radius. Buses into Tigaki town and Kos city stop outside the property and are reasonably priced at 1.8 euros each way. The Byron has its own stretch of beach with sunbeds for residents only. There are other sunbeds scattered around the gardens and pool in shaded and sunny areas. Altogether, the Byron is a pleasant throwback to the days when Customer service was paramount and you are not blasted with unwanted music and special offers. Highly recommended. Nothing to improve on.

• Catrina (7/5): Good - Great location, quiet and on the beach. Good to have some basic kitchen facilities and a fridge. Nice pool & plenty of outdoor seating. The door lock was damaged and kept getting stuck. The light in the bathroom didn't work and the air con kept cutting out so it got really hot at night.. No facility to take card payments so we had to walk to an office 30 mins away. We were only told this the day before check out so had to rearrange our plans. Not great and it spoiled our stay!

• Laura (10/5): Brilliant stay! - Lovely little apartment with perfect facilities for what you need. There is a pool with plenty of sun loungers and also it is situated right on the beach. The bus to Tigaki/Kos town is directly outside which is very handy! Maria was so friendly and the apartment was cleaned daily :)
• Lucy (10/5): Lovely place to stay - A lovely but basic apartment right on the beach with a small pool. Had the pool to ourselves most the time. There is a bus stop opposite or about 20 mins walk to centre. We were out of check in time so emailed but received no response, we called and they had received email. They sort check in so if you don't have a reply it will all be fine
• Syahrita (8/5): We had a lovely time! Location was great, friendly staff, clean place and an amazing view. - Property was 50m from the beach and there was also a pool. The apartment balcony was overlooking the beach. The area is quiet. The place is clean and we get clean towels every other day. Our apartment was smaller than we thought. There was a sleeping couch in the dining & kitchen area for our son but no airconditioning there so we had to open the sleeping room door to let the cool air from the air conditioning in that room flow out as well. It works after a while. The car entry/exit to the property had no mirror and it was quite steep and connected to the road directly. The road can be busy but we could not see if any cars were coming from left or right so that was nerve wrecking every time. A microwave would have been handy but we managed with the cooking plates. Couldn’t find or see the cooking suction button so had to open the front door and windows.

• Rhona (10/5): Exceptional - Another lovely stay at the Byron Apartments. Weather was lovely and warm, and the beach at the front of the apartment was comfortable with a beautiful view across the sea. Maria was as helpful as usual, going above to help us. The swimming pool is a bonus and was lovely to swim in late afternoon. All in all I would recommend the Byrom Apartments to anyone who is looking for a peaceful break. We will definitely be back. Nothing not to like.

• Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderfull experience. Totally recommend. It was all I expected ❤️. A beautifull tranquil clean spot just far away enough from everything, but a 10 minutes bicycle ride to Tigaki, the Salt Lake and the Hamam. And if you fancy, a 30 minutes to Kos town. Which is great to do by the way. I took a dive in the sea every morning followed by a dip in the pool. The apartment and whole building was kept very clean by lovely Maria. I enjoyed the view and sunset from my balcony. Enough sunbeds available by the pool, in the garden and at the beach. The wonderfull taverna 'Ampeli' with it's own vineyard is just a 5 minute stroll away. I also recommend to take a stroll down the beach to the east for 30 minutes (or take a bike off course) where you'll find 'Taverna Karnagio' right at the beach where they serve fresh seafood. There is a lovely place just down the road where local fruits and vegetables are sold at very low prices. Well, if I hàve to mention some things, it is that it was quiet windy while I was there, but as far from what I heard, that is an exception. And not to blame on the acommodation off course. And it would be handy to have a good knife in the kitchen to cut up veggies, fruits and stuff. But I used my swiss knife which I took. And the beds in my apartment were a bit to hard for my taste. Lighting places cosily and romantic seems to be an art which I haven't seen a lot around the planet. But I have my ways to work around that 😊

• Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable.staff were so helpful. Spotlessly clean. Maria is so lovely. All rooms have a view of the sea. Lovely poo only noise is the sound of the sea. Sea is a fantastic..couldn't recommend highly enough. No negatives ... but may be relevant to some. a good 30 min walk from town. We rented bikes and really enjoyed the cycle .road runs by the sea and it is stunning it is well lit for the cycle home . There is a bus right outside the door if you don't fancy walking or cycling
• George (10/5): Exceptional - This is fully self catering, which was what we wanted. Every thing was clean and the fresh flowers and eggs were a lovely extra touch. The beds bedding, pillows and towels were super clean and white and regularly changed. Maria did a super job, as did the man who looked after the outside area of the accommodation. There were plenty of sun loungers on the beach, garden and pool area. We had a very relaxing break here and plan to go back soon. Can't think of anything.
• Marika (7/5): Good - The hotel itself is fine if not the wind. It is located in a quiet area, close to several tavernas and supermarkets. The staff is very friendly. Both Ms. Maria and the gentlement who takes care of the garden were very kind and supportive. The facilities are also good, nothing to complain about. We were very dissapointed with the weather in Tigaki. It appeared to be very windy which makes it difficult to swim in the sea and enjoy the sun on the beach. See grass/plants on the beach in front of the hotel also makes it difficult to swim. We have chosen Byron Apartments for its view to the sea and closeness to the beach, but during our stay there in May we could not even swim once either in the sea or the swimming pool as it was very windy and cold. Due to the wind it was not always possible to enjoy the sea view from our balcony. During all our stay at Byron Apartments we had to drive to the beach in Kardamena or Agios Stefanos beach which is in the South of the island. Both beaches were perfect without any wind and calm sea.
• Marta (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay at Byron Apartments, the apartment was really big and had everything we needed for our holiday. The view from both the living room and the bedroom was breathtaking. There is a pool outside always super clean and the pathway leads to the super relaxing beach. The best thing about Byron Apartments is Maria who is always super helpful and nice. She even called a company to deliver our bikes for the holiday. We have made great memories on this holiday and would definitely return to Byron Apartments.

• Brigitta (9/5): Basic apartment with a private beach, excellent choice in Tigaki - Excellent location, right on the beach. The direct access to the sea makes it an excellent choice. There is a nice pool as well. Maria the host helped us rent a bike, she called the rental place and the bikes were delivered within 15 minutes, so we did not have to walk 2 km to the rental place. By bike it is so easy to reach Tigali centre, where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. Wifi at the property was excellent. Room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We did not cook, but we had all we needed for preparing our breakfast. The payment methods on booking.com should be updated, they did not accept cards only cash. Also, on booking.com there is no info on extra charge for the AC. I recommend updating these on booking.com, to avoid misunderstandings and to provide accurate info for guests. + a corkscrew and wine glasses would be useful in the kitchen

• Martina (8/5): - Lage und Einrichtung der Zimmer, Sauberkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals waren sehr ansprechend! Das Appartementhaus liegt direkt am Ende der langen Strandpromenade Richtung Tigaki (tagsüber Verkehr, aber man ist ja auch unterwegs) mit schönem privatem Strandabschnitt. Die Küche ist sehr sparsam ausgestattet, wer dort ernsthaft kochen will, sollte Platz für ein scharfes Messer, Sparschäler u Pfannenwender im Fluggepäck einplanen. Für Lärmempfindliche empfehlen sich Ohrenstöpsel der Geräuschpegel ist wie überall von der Rücksichtnahme anderer Gäste abhängig und nicht immer vorhanden. Dabei sind es nicht die Zimmer, sondern die Balkone, auf denen sich unterhalten wird. Im Idealfall hört man nachts aber das Rauschen des Meeres und eine fleissige Grille. Insgesamt finde ich die Appartements empfehlenswert, auch wenn dort - nicht wie im Hotel - keine Rezeption vorhanden ist.

• Francesca (6/5): Ok... - The position is very good, just in front of the sea and a bit far from the village centre, so that it is very quiet. The room was big enough for 2 people. There was no staff on site, so we could not ask any information about the place. There were 2 separate single beds instead of the double bed. There was no mosquito net at the door-window, which was unpleasant in itself but also not very comfortable because being at the ground floor we had to sleep with the iron blinds closed, to avoid people coming/looking at us while sleeping!

• Daniel (10/5): Freundlich sauber mit super Aussicht aufs Meer - Schöne Anlage mit Pool und direkt am Strand, was natürlich mega war. Nette Betreuung und Parkplatz beim Haus. Ein Duschvorhang würde das Duschen einfacher und genussvoller machen aber ich glaub die Griechen kennen das nicht. Alles tip top und an die etwas harte Matratze haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt. Für den Preis perfekt.
• maria (8/5): Great Seaview - The view from the balcony is amazing sea view. This was the reason we booked this place. We were not disappointed with the view. However, there appartment wasn't that great. There was a strange smell in the room / sheets / towels. There were big moths in the room and sheets had moth's bite holes. There were also other small insects in bathroom. This made the stay little uncomfortable. The property should pay attention to this and replace sheets / towels. Make sure that the rooms are properly cleaned / sprayed to avoid any kind of insects in the room / bathroom.

• azam (8/5): Hotel beach, sunset views and quiet - A self catering hotel with a beach of its own - quiet and away from the heart of Tigaki so good if you want to relax - small walk to shops and a couple of great tavernas to the right of the hotel up the beach. No frills - none needed for a peaceful beach holiday.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern dort, dafür war das Apartment einfach zu klein. Für zwei Personen ist es mit Sicherheit ideal... Trotz Nachfrage hat es keine Zahlungsbestätigung seitens des Veranstalters gegeben. Wir mussten bei Byron anrufen , um wenigstens eine telefonische Bestätigung zu bekommen. Trotz der Abstriche haben wir unseren Urlaub genossen.
