- Valeska (10/5): Perfect retreat - Beautifully designed and appointed. This was a perfect retreat before our wedding. We could slow down, enjoy the tranquility and little details that make this place special. The king sized bed equivalent spa was well designed for relaxing. The included breakfast was thoughtful, generous and used local produce (as well as our favourite Pepe Saya butter). The bed was very supportive and comfortable. Heated floors in the bathroom were a treat, complementing the rain style shower. We're excited to return.

- Tanya (9/5): This place is heaven. Do yourself a favour and go experience it. - The peacefulness of staying within a vineyard has something very special about it. The villa was wonderful with a back deck looking out over the vines and property. The bed was very comfy - not too soft. All staff I encountered were very professional and lovely. The breakfast hamper in the room when you arrive is a very nice touch. The restaurant and bar on the lawn are well worth a visit but make sure you stay when they are open - not at the start of the week. Nothing. I loved it.

The service from emails to the phone call confirming we had received the door code exceptional and the environment beautiful. There were lots of crumbs in two of the drawers which obviously had not been cleaned. The full length window next to the front door nearly knocked us both out!!!

- Andrea (7/5): It was lovely - The included breakfast was nice, basic - a loaf of sourdough bread, butter and jam, local museli and milk- good quality food and beverages provided. A few pieces of fresh fruit would have been nice. There was a coffee machine - similar to a nespresso. The spa was nice. Loved the heating of the floor in the bathroom The open fireplace - I lit it and smoke filled the entire room. The choke for the fireplace had been broken off so it was not easy to access the flue control. I had to immediately put the fire out and open the doors ( made the place cold). I had to quickly put the fire out. Even with the choke open it made little difference. Even then an open fireplace in this day and age is rather primitive and is always open to a smokey smelling room. The room also smelt like smoke when we entered even though they had a diffuser going. (we have a wood fired heater so its not like we aren't used to using one) Also there was no extra blankets supplied so we had to leave the air conditioner on all night for warmth. I guess that is fine but it wasn't as snug as it could have been. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay. If it had a firebox insert into the open fireplace I would have rated the stay 5/5. That would have added beautiful warmth to the room without the smoke and the noise of the reverse cycle aircon all night.
