Room are a little bit small. No microwave oven. Small bathroom hot at hallway.

• Guohe (7/5): Too noisy - The staff was good, very helpful and professional. The hotel itself, though, was somehow worn out. In Chinatown, lots of people, vehicles, bad traffic jams all the time. Also, it was dirty on the streets.

• Jennifer (9/5): Superb - We had a nice stay here. Hotel staff are accommodating. What I didn't like was the smell of cigarette smoke upon entering the hotel. The following day, cigarette smoke smells in the corridor. Cigarette butts were thrown in the garbage bins near the elevator. The hotel management must be strict in implementing NO SMOKING and to use the SMOKING AREA.

Do not move into the room given and unpack until you know it is suitable packing and moving to a suitable room i - My stay in this place was much time wasted trying to get them to understand I needed an Internet connection. Foreign visitors are not allowed a mobile phone connection since the new KYC laws. It is impossible to register to have a Philippines Mobile connection with Globe, Smart (PLDT). Dito. All calls need to be VOIP. Through Skype WhatsApp etc. Hence a requirement for WiFi I had to change rooms three times. I was there only to work and there was no internet access on the floor I was first given. I tried for 6 hours to connect to the WiFi and was given alternative logins which did not work. I was eventually moved to another floor and went through the same process. Then they decided late evening to move me and my wife and maid to another Floor and a different room that had someWiFi. I am certain they knew there was No WiFi or Internet access in the previous rooms and floors as there were no working modems to locate. They told me they were waiting for PLDT to come and repair it and that it never worked before. They were just taking the piss hoping I would accept the NO INTERNET situation. I lost a whole days work which cost me a lot of money. The staff were not to blame so much because they were women and boys (same thing) and little education. They were sort of empty headed and it would be impossible for them to understand that I needed an internet connection to be able to work at my job. I’m not sure what type of clients they get there normally but the staff did not see the real need or understand the internet and how it can be important to some visitors so they did not care if it worked or not.

• Savannah (8/5): A thoroughly well deserved break and enjoyable long weekend getaway! - What I love about the property was it was in a location where all restaurants and travel destinations are accessible. The staff were very accommodating and hospitable. The room was clean and tidy when we got there and it’s quite huge compared to the pictures. The coffee, milk tea and hot chocolate that can br bought from the hotel’s café is also quite exceptional! We really did book a great deal with this hotel and would probably consider this an option the next time we visit Binondo/Ongpin! I guess one thing I didn’t like about this particular property is that the sliding door in the bathroom is quite hard to close and makes screeching sounds that makes it sound like it’s close to breaking down. Other than that, there’s nothing else.

• Ian (8/5): GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY - The place is in Chinatown which was just a walking distance to all my suppliers in Ongpin area. The staff were all polite, helpful and hospitable. Clean but because the hotel is already quite old, maintenance and repairs must be considered. Generally I give it a good rating nevertheless. My 1st day seems uneasy. I can smell cigarette smoke coming from somewhere maybe from the room next door. It was very suffocating. I tried putting off the exhaust, checked windows and I think it was partly from a small opening on the window. I have to request for housekeeping. Immediately though it was attended. The next day was better until the duration of my stay. Because of the location, with the casino also in the building, expect slight noise from the outside.
