The heating system is so loud that you can’t hear the tv or have a conversation. No carpeting. You have to request cleaning service and get your own clean towels. Outside corridors so you have to carry your luggage up cement steps to get to your room. The coffee is terrible and the breakfast is an ultra processed smorgasbord.

- David (8/5): Very spacious and comfortable with a great view. - Loved the beachfront location, the hot tub, the size of the rooms, that you had an elevator, the rooms were very clean etc. The limited handicap accessible items. A handle to get in and out of tub and shower. Both were extremely slippery to stand up in. The lack of a hand held shower head and things were falling down or broken like towel rack fell off wall and furniture placement could focus better on the view. Timer on tub was broken, jets adjustment was broken. Rusty metal along floor that is missing paint. It was very clean but that made it look dirty. We slept great though and will still come back because the beds were so comfy and the tub so big.

- Rhonda (3/5): Bittersweet goodbye - We have stayed here many times, we will not again. Bed was super hard this time. There was a bag of garbage and empties left under the sink. The jets on the whirlpool kept kicking off so I had to get out to turn them back on NUMEROUS times. All of this was noticed AFTER staff left for the night, so we just told them the next morning, since all of our prior stays were fine. They never called or offered a credit so we won't be back. I even called a couple weeks later to make sure the manager knew about the issues and I still haven't heard anything.

Caulking around tub needs to be stripped and redone years ago. Remnants of adhesives from previous things attached to walls were still visible.

- Jessica (4/5): Not great in colder months - Beautiful view. Where do I start? At the beginning I suppose. We checked in and got our keys with a nice little packet of local attraction coupons that were all expired in 2023. We didn't realize before reserving here, there are no elevators. This might be fine in the summer, but not when its 5 degrees outside and the steps are metal. Later that evening, my husband slipped on the steps and slid down hurting his back. The first thing we noticed was how cold the room was. We checked the thermostat that was set at 75 yet it was only 63 in the room. After a short investigation we discovered the giant slider letting a lot of freezing cold air thru all around it. We noticed this when we saw the curtain almost a foot from the slider at the bottom. It was literally being blown out almost a foot...You can also see light around the front door and feel the wind blowing right thru. the tub was nice, however, I went to shower afterwards, and use the soap out of the dispensers in the shower, except they were both empty. Later I discovered the box of tissues had 2 tissues in it. The parking was also terrible here, with no spots available and it really needed to be plowed. This place should not be open in the colder months and we definitely will not be staying again. And no, I didnt say anything to the front desk. What was he going to do? Put us in another room that also leaked cold air in everywhere? It wasn't his fault the owners are cheap af.

Had phone in hand , never said hi never looked up .didn't say thanks for staying with us,this was not just 1 time but we went in there at least 4 times same response I never complain but I would not want someone like that greeting people who arrive or come in to get breakfast. - Selena (10/5): Very comfortable bed & great views for a relaxing getaway - We loved the scenery & location of the hotel, it was very clean and the staff were very nice. Great breakfast options too! Be prepared to go up & down multiple flights of stairs if you book the suite. We were not prepared for this until we got to the front desk & they told us haha

- Nancy (8/5): - Loved the hot tub, friendly and accommodating staff, and the view. Breakfast could be better. No hot foods, more of a continental breakfast.
- Daniel (6/5): Ganz gut - Die Lage am Lake Michigan mit Balkon ist einfach perfekt. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Im Winter war die Heizung (Gebläse) fast zu schwach für den großen Raum. Das Frühstück war einfach ein Regal mit gekühlten Getränken, einer Kaffeemaschine und einigen Snacks zum Nehmen. Gut wenn man direkt weiter möchte, aber nicht wenn man es vor Ort konsumieren will.

- Elana (6/5): Not great in the winter - Good location in quieter part of town. The staff was friendly and they were quick to respond when we had an issue although they were not able to correct it. I don't know maybe this place would be better in the summer but I wouldn't recommend a winter stay. We were on the third floor, I had to trudge up three flights of slushie steps with our bags. Our room wasnt carpeted which made it feel colder. The view was cool but so was the drafty room! Admittedly it was a super cold weekend in Michigan but cold air poured through the AC / heat unit on the wall that was facing the bay. Also, the two person jacuzzi was nice but we could not get the Jets to work, one of the buttons was completely broken off. That's what we contacted the front desk about, they said they would send someone up immediately, quickly got back to a saying it was fixed but then when we got back that night excited to take a hot tub it still was not functional. Nice to take a bath but would have been better to have the actual Jets we were promised! Also we went down to get the continental breakfast on Sunday morning at 8:00 and it wasn't yet ready so we missed out. Finally, it was very snowy out and there was no place to keep our boots. Highly recommend them getting boot trays or mats or something. All they had was like an outdoor mat which was not sufficient for keeping snow and Slush at Bay in the room. Anyway long review but suffice it to say it wasn't a great stay. I think this would be a fine place for families in the summer, but I wouldn't go there in the winter. Lots of choices in Traverse City and we will make a different one next time.
- Conklin (6/5): - I liked the roominess of it. I didn't like the metal stairs going to the second floor. It was very cold icy and slippery. I am a combat veteran and really didnt want to hurt my knees. The breakfast was lack luster. I kind of expected more for the money.
- Angie (8/5): Great Spot - 3rd floor, big room with vaulted ceiling, mini kitchenette, on the end so nice and private and quiet. Beautiful view out the balcony of the bay. Cam and Renee were fantastic work with also! Deal was going on for half off second night at the location. So we agreed. At check out we ended up paying a full night for the 2nd night under completely different staff than we had previously made arrangements with:/ Said it was because we had used booking.com but that was never mentioned prior to staying 2nd night by previous staff. Ice machine was in completely different building without signage.
- John (4/5): Could have been much better! - Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our visit would not have been as good if not for staff being so helpful. There was a heating problem with the room. Our thermostat was set to 70 degrees and the actual temperature was 50 degrees in the room. Turning the heat up to 80 degrees made no difference. We contacted the front desk, and fortunately they provided us with 2 space heaters to warm up the room to a more tolerable temperature. Had it not been for staff we would have been miserable.

- Gabriel (4/5): Disappointed. - Dirty… tub is outdated and the microwave/fridge too. Wear white socks and they will be black on the bottom. If you don’t believe me, Check under the night stands… awful.
- Bradley (1/5): trashy hotel - location, view The people next to us were smoking pot all night and when I told the manager or front desk worker she seemed enthused and didn't care.
- Leonard (9/5): Pleasant stay - The room was Comfortable And warm We were there during a blizzard. The entrance road to the hotel was difficult to spot. Reflective markers indicating the entrance would have been helpful.
