Bed was a little on the high side for short person. Would like to see fresh fruit for breakfast. Overall good.

Craig (6/5): The room was adequate. - The bathroom was upgraded nicely. We stayed at this property a year ago while it was being refurbished and thought it would be so very nice now. We were dissapointed that there was no longer a coffee maker in the room. One of us had to get dressed and get coffee from the breakfast area and take it back to the room. The furniture was not replaced and upgraded and most of the pieces were in bad condition. The sofa and chair had pet hair on them. I don't know if our room was a pet friendly room or if the furniture had at one time been used in such room.

Craig (7/5): The building was being updated so the halls were filled with furniture and it seemed a fire hazard. - There wasn't much variety and few items that a 70 year old would eat. Better bread choices for toast. More yogurt choices and cooked oatmeal.

Kelsey (6/5): - The swimming pool was shut down and we got no notice of that and we had a bunch of kids with us and it just messed everything up. The whole hotel was under construction and being remodeled there was a bunch of stuff in the hallways. Also I almost drank three cartons of milk that were rotten. The food was not fresh and it was icky and nobody paid attention to string it.
Verified traveler (8/5): Recliner Option - This was a pretty quiet hotel. They are painting the rooms so we got a discount. The king room had a recliner which was a bonus for us. My partner sleeps in a recliner.

Lydia (4/5): No sleep. - Super clean nice place. Do not go when Youth Hockey is there. Not the kids, the parents. They sat in common areas, got wasted, screamed and yelled until 1:30 am and staff did nothing.

Dog in the breakfast area and not a service animal. When we complained we were told we told it was a "support" animal. It was disgusting and we left for our room.

Pennie (7/5): Not horrible, but won’t stay again. - Close to what we were there for. Although the bathrooms had been remodeled and were beautifully done, I felt like I had been put in a “In Progress” room. Nail holes all over the walls, scratches in the paint, old, ugly leather rocker recliner and carpet from the 70’s. Not to mention my room was right over 2 sets of highly sensitive automatic doors.

Sharon (6/5): It was OK. I understand the frustrations when any type of construction work is in process. - I had to move twice before we got a room that was functioning properly. The manager did compensate very graciously for the inconvenience and moved me into a suite. That is why I rated it good because of her customer service. I do know they were still remodeling the hotel and many things still needed correcting. The staff did do everything to take care of me. (see above)

The first room we were given the hallway was very dirty and the couch in the room was in very bad condition and from the 70's. We switched rooms cause was not having my kids sleep on that hideabed couch. The hotel is still under construction and workers staying there. It is false advertising to say this hotel has been completely renovated as it has not.

Jenny (10/5): Hockey mom - I had stayed here many years ago and had low expectations for this stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the remodeled rooms. My bed was extremely comfortable. You can hear chatter in hallways and other rooms. Bathrooms upgraded nicely. Very nice staff!
Kim (4/5): Acceptable but nothing more to add. - The hotel does not seem to be maintained very well. My room was very dark. The smoke detector was hanging loose. Furniture is looking pretty beat up. I have stayed here before, 2 years ago, but it has not progressed in the right direction I'm afraid.
Alison (8/5): - Exterior and bathrooms have been updated. They need to update the beds/bedding. Couches were a little beat up and our “curtain” was a paper beveled sheet taped to the top and it wasn’t even the size of the window.

Dsousa (1/5): Overpriced & Run Down - The breakfast was fairly standard and plentiful. The pre-toasted bread was odd but helped ensure there wasn't a big lineup. The space between tables in the dining room was tight but the hotel seemed quite full. The location was fantastic as it's close to everything! The mirror in the bathroom was really neat/nice, its sad that this was a highlight. The evening/overnight gentleman was awesome, very friendly, and helpful with suggestions on where to eat and what you could find in town. This hotel was probably awesome in its prime but it is well past that and they don't seem to care and are still charging premium hotel rates. All ice machines were broken, and we were told to buy ice and coolers if we needed them. The damage in our room was so substantial I went to the front desk with Pictures as I didn't want to be charged for them (I've read other hotels rip people off like this, thankfully this hotel does not do that), they didn't care about any of the damages, just said yea our housekeeping staff know what's already damaged and what would be new don't worry about it. The curtains/blinds were paper and being held on by tape(I had to ask for more tape to redo it as they were falling. The bathroom door was split and didn't open or close properly. 1 of the 2 beds felt like it was going to collapse at any moment. The room was not very clean (surface clean only), the carpet was grungy and there were crumbs and grossness by the beds and windows. There was supposed to be a hot tub, but when I asked the front desk where it was she said yea they took that out years ago and haven't removed it from the amenities list. The price we paid at this hotel for 1 night reflects that of a high-end/almost luxury hotel in any big city but is nowhere near what is promised on their website or booking.com's website. We made the best of our short overnight getaway by enjoying the amazing people and town/city. Next time we are in town we will choose to stay elsewhere.
Jack (2/5): Not worth it at all… - There was no one at the front desk, and when they got there they gave us one key to a room that already had a guest in it. They seemed very upset to have to fix this. The room was filthy.
