We were not informed beforehand. The marketing highlights the pool as a feature and we felt misled and extremely disappointed

- Linda (6/5): Okay - The property was really clean and located right next door to the pub (Captain Sturt Hotel) which has really great food. Pet friendly means they booked the rooms upstairs to dog owners. This translated to a Bull Mastiff in the room upstairs with the zoomies while we were trying to sleep! Sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in! Also the pool was closed for maintenance and looked like it had been for a long time. The grassed areas were covered in bindies so you couldn’t walk on them in thongs.

There was no rec room or no cooking facility that we could see. No cutlery in room. 1 roll toliet paper. The air con was so old didn't really cool room down. The tv service and wifi was terrible. There was. No exhaust fan in bathroom. The shower pressure was perfect though. Advertised as 4star motel.

Everything you need for a stopover without the bells and whistles. Managers were warm and friendly. Great location, walk around the corner to the pub and restaurant. The rooms could do with a little refurbishment.

Extremely clean and spacious room with small kitchenette. Great location a short walking distance to the rivers, the supermarket and the main street. Exceptional value for money.

I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid but was pleased it was clean. At places like this you will expect the beds to be hard and uncomfortable. And they were but for a quick budget layover, it was fine.
